In an engrossing lattice of polyrhythmic beat science and deep atmospheric meditation, Samurai Music is thrilled to welcome Marco Shuttle to the fold for the Sumud EP.

Since his early years locked into the 00s London techno scene, Marco Sartorelli has developed as an artist entirely on his own terms. Through the rush of new ideas and cross-pollination that has characterised cutting-edge techno over the past 20-odd years, Sartorelli has travelled as Marco Shuttle from one considered stylistic concept to the next. On his own Eerie label and across expansive releases for respected outposts such as Spazio Disponibile, Incensio and Astral Industries, he's taken an exploratory approach to rhythm and spatial design while always drawing on intentional thematic frameworks, creating distinctive and immersive dance music in the process.

As Samurai Music continues to celebrate the rich seams of inspiration where deep techno and drum & bass intersect, Sartorelli's malleable, mysterious strain of drum work fits right in and sets a captivating tone for the label's operations in 2026. 'Sumud' is a steely drum mantra dealing in fractured patterns with the primal patina of the early Artificial Intelligence era, while 'Las Dunas de Taroa' leans on gently pulsing melancholia undulating at a half-time pace. 'Iso 50' taps into raw, analogue minimalism once more, evoking the sound of Roman Flugel's Ro70 records in their icy, alien formation. Completing the set, we're guided towards the tense electronica of 'Polylayering What I've Got', where uneasy melodic chimes interlock with intricately programmed drum machines.

There's a distinct sense of golden-era, mid-90s electronica coursing through Sumud EP, but Sartorelli shrouds the classic tools at his disposal in his subtle signature atmospherics, pushing towards a plain of expression that transcends time.

The incredible talent that is Jamie Myerson returns with another stellar EP packed with old school sensibilities and atmospheric charm. A1 - Photosphere Photosphere opens with a warm synth and filtered beats before a raucous kaleidoscope of breaks take over your senses, while a devilishly simple piano melody, layers of airy vocals and sampled effects jostle for your attention adding texture to an already immense array of sounds. All elements are clear and distinct in the mix, offering something new with each listen in exceptional detail and clarity. A2 - Naked Eye Changing up the vibe with a twist, Naked Eye is a a deeply atmospheric piece that opens with synths and light percussion before a relaxed old-school breakbeat and bassline drop and kick start a gloriously laid-back journey which builds and builds with trademark JLM Productions panache - adding a flurry of strings, micro melodies across the soundscape and a perfectly-tuned amen layer to the breaks. AA1 - Evolution Operator Next up: enter the sounds of Evolution Operator, opening with a DJ-friendly filtered break intro coupled with intriguing, intense padwork which builds towards a drop of dancefloor two-step beats featuring none other than the legendary Apache break. Combining driving atmospheric energy delivered from a plethora of melodies and effects with old school sensibilities results in another fine floor filler for the discerning setlist. AA2 - Lightlike Completing the EP we are treated to Lightlike, another gloriously reminiscent piece of music reflecting yesteryear with JLM’s crisp, detailed approach to production. Opening beat-free with glistening pads, subtle drums are gently added before classic Airtight breaks drop with a cacophony of synthwork, cymbals and crafted melodies swirl throughout the elements to create a classic yet modern collage of atmospheric drum & bass. ANNE is proudly presents her new imprint Blind Harmonies, shaped by intuition, patience, and a self-taught approach to music creation. The name reflects a journey built without formal training, producing music "blind," guided by listening, experimentation, and trust in instinct rather than rules. The label is built on the belief that harmony is something you sense before you understand. By closing your eyes, sound becomes more honest, rhythms breathe, textures speak, and emotion takes the lead.

With her first release, ANNE presents four dynamic, dance floor - oriented cuts-emotional and seductive at the same time. Opening with A1. Daydream, the EP sets a melancholic yet driving tone, drifting deep into the listener's mind and emotions. A2. Castles in the Air follows with a propulsive rhythm, led by Detroit-influenced synth soul and percussive energy that carries the track forward.

On the B-side, B1. Metallic Tapes delivers a hypnotic, percussive, and trippy groove, maintaining a steady yet intense rhythmic flow. Closing the record, "In the Blink of an Eye" blends powerful drums with a sharp, striking lead-proving that potent techno can be both intense and beautiful. Sublunar is proud to present the new EP from Georgian talent Pierce.

Already affiliated with labels such as Token Records and WSNWG, and following his contribution to Veil Of Echoes II, Pierce returns with a release that further defines his voice, establishing him as one of the most eclectic and distinctive emerging artists in the scene.
The EP opens with Luminous, driven by a solid groove and a uniquely recognisable vocal, before moving into Sentimento, a direct and powerful cut built around raw, gritty synth work. Cassiopeia follows, darker in tone, carrying a sense of melancholic tension that sets it apart. On the flip side, Gunslinger delivers high-impact energy with a driving groove, while Twisted Fantasy explores a more chaotic and textural approach, shaped by distorted elements and unpredictable arrangements. Delira continues the journey with hypnotic vocals and an intense, immersive groove.

With this release, Pierce firmly positions himself as one of the most compelling emerging voices in the current techno landscape.

Austrian musician, painter, and filmmaker Kimyan (formerly Kimyan Law) combines sound and visual design in an impressively direct way to create a comprehensive artistic experience. He takes an open, intuitive approach to his compositions, connecting the
resonances of traditional instruments and rhythmic patterns from Central, North, East, and Sub-Saharan Africa with sophisticated production techniques. Kimyan's current album,
“Coloria,” in which he explores the concept of timbre in a multifaceted way, marks the pinnacle of his artistic development to date.
For his Live -concerts, Kimyan relies on the organic element of playing, using instruments such as electronic drum pads and MIDI controllers.
This gives his pieces a spontaneous, physical presence on stage that goes far beyond mere reproduction and makes his performances a lively interplay between improvisation and structure. In conjunction with his self-designed artwork and videos, corresponding audiovisual worlds are created in which cultural influences and identities, moods and timbres shine together radiantly. Kimyan's works tell stories in many colours, yet always in one language: his own.

Using the original stems, Aroop Roy turns this MJ classic into a unifying dancefloor moment.
The arrangement is key here, building the suspense with an infectious disco/house groove, that will gradually pull in each person on the dancefloor. The raw proto house organs from the original get their moment to shine, before breaking down to euphoric horns and an anthemic vocal drop.
'Badstrumental' maintains the drama of the A side, whilst leaving the vocals to the imagination. The alternate mix saves the vocal for the very end.

"Life & Death has been a bucketlist label for me since day one. I've always been inspired by the way DJ Tennis approaches music and the whole philosophy around the label. What always stood out to me is the variety in the releases. One record can be deep and emotional, the next one raw and club-focused, but it still feels like it belongs to the same world. That balance is something I am always chasing in my music. Next to this: in a world that is focussed more and more on short term wins and commercial performance, i really can tell that Tennis still values the art and process of making music the most, which is something i really appreciate"

I remember hearing him play at Circoloco in Ibiza and later in the Loft in Amsterdam and thinking: 'fuck, I should've send him the tune I made last week.' When I came back home, I immediately put together a pack of tracks to send to him. Two were released as part of the Fabric release, and 4 of them are on this EP.
For me, this release is a next step in my career, and I'm happy and proud to be part of a label that is both legendary and super relevant in 2026."

Santamaria Brothers are the latest incarnation of a lifelong musical journey rooted in rhythm, rebellion, and reinvention. The children of Peruvian and Ecuadorian immigrants to Australia, brothers Pat and Andrew Santamaria grew up steeped in the sounds and culture of Latin America - a deep inheritance that coloured everything they did, even as they moved through scenes and styles far from home.

In their youth, the brothers sharpened their first musical swords playing in globally touring indie bands. As the rhythm section of cult outfit Lost Valentinos, they had the opportunity to see the world and learn from the best; touring with, working alongside, and releasing music through the likes of Soulwax, Ewan Pearson, and Kitsuné. Taking those experiences home, they dove deep into the rave underground, co-founding of the crucial Sydney-centric techno label, warehouse party collective, and long-running radio show Motorik! In that guise,they helped shape the city’s electronic music scene over the past decade from the booth, the studio, the airwaves, and the street.

Now, after years behind the decks and on both sides of the mixing board, Santamaria Brothers return to their roots - releasing music under the family name for the first time. With We Got Latin Soul, they bring it all together on a 4-track EP of club-ready edits (via Sosilly Records). Reworking four towering figures of Latin soul; Mongo Santamaria, Ray Barretto, Pucho & The Latin Soul Brothers, and Joe Bataan — the brothers inject each cut with tasteful touches of Balearic haze and chugging acid house pressure, honouring the originals while making them sing on today’s dancefloors.

This is Latin soul filtered through a unique blend of antipodean rave culture, crate-digging, and relentless reinvention. It’s joyful, percussive, and made for the club - a full-circle moment from two lifers forever finding new ways to move bodies.

A central figure in Belgian techno, Border One's work has also been an international reference for consistency and direction since his early releases. An artist for artists with true commitment to his sound, Steven Petit's impact in the studio and behind the decks is admired by anyone who has done their homework. His music describes tight pressure under curious, modular-like sequences that stretch through the timeline of each track. The scale of minimalism remains key here, and the Belgian wastes no time when tunneling through his erratic tracks. Jazz-like dissonance drives his tension and although each element is carefully measured, the records truly command dancefloors. 'Inner Radiance' is no different. The Fuse resident takes his game one step further, pushing harmony to hysteria at every turn.

The EP skips foreplay and dives straight into the extremities of Border One's sound. In 'Reducing Valve', sustain is the key ingredient to this chaos. Slowly ripping the synth sequence into chords, Border one maintains a firm hold on the track's tension while remaining playful with the main theme. 'Sensory Reset' is more of a lurker with its shifting pad that spreads across the stereo image. This track is characterized by a grim urgency as opposed to its predecessor's progressive spiral. Keeping things low to the groove, the A2 swings about satisfyingly while Border One tinkers at his 909 constructions. Continuing his work on resonance, 'Transfigured' balances obscurity and surrealism. With a sequencer on the loose and a drum machine to emphasize it, the Fuse resident guides his audience into twists and turns at a constant pace. Here, we explore the dichotomy between the warmth and cold of a modular sound in techno, something frequently done but rarely mastered. Border One puts his years of experience to work to provide a combination of flair and balance to his tracks, something that is clearly translated in this EP. Of course, the final track - the title track - 'Inner Radiance' brings something very special to the table. The power of simplicity can never be underestimated and Petit knows just how to use it. With a strong core to an already sturdy track, the conclusion is spectacular. Emphasizing the electrifying nature of the record, Border One adds vintage chord stabs that fit right in with the sharp lead to create a powerful and memorable dancefloor experience. Not as much of a wind-down more than it is a gripping cliff hanger for his future releases, Border One provides once more an EP that underlines the true ethos of techno music.

To celebrate reaching its 50th Anniversary, electro pioneers Kraftwerk have announced three new editions of their landmark 1975 album Radio-Activity for release on 15 May 2026. Using the original 16-track master tapes, Kraftwerk founder Ralf Hütter with engineer Fritz Hilpert have created a brand-new Dolby Atmos Mix which takes Kraftwerk’s first all-electronic album and brings vivid new shading, forensic detail and richly layered cinematic depth to the most boldly experimental album in the Kraftwerk catalogue.



The new Dolby Atmos Mix is available as a Blu-ray audio disc and digital release, and the stereo album is pressed as a stunning vinyl picture disc featuring updated artwork.

Experience stands as a raw reminder of the four pillars of house — drum machines, bass, minimalism and repetition — metallic, stripped, relentless, pure underground. On the flip, Fantasy explodes with wild energy, channeling the raw spirit of Trax Records and Armando, dirty and direct, a weapon for uncompromising dancefloors. Finally, Folx closes the record with a cosmic edge, its tough jackin’ drums colliding with spacey synth touches to create a bridge between Chicago basements and interstellar dancefloors. Once again, the visual identity is entrusted to the iconic H5 studio (Daft Punk, YSL, Logorama), whose bold modernist artwork perfectly mirrors Carruthers’ stripped yet futuristic vision. Vinyl only. There is a strong sense of place running through 'North West Tonight', as God Colony aka Crack Copies label heads and Liverpool-raised duo James Rand and Thomas Gorton sketch out a hazy, after-hours portrait of their hometown. Drawing on 80s new wave melodies and rough-edged club rhythms, the EP balances sounds of yore with present-day energy. There is crunchy, disrupted bass on 'The Column', backlit broken beat on 'Middle Eye' and more sun-kissed depths on 'Rhyll Sun Centre'. 'The Paradox' stands out as a darker, more edgy and club-ready sound while the rework by Sasha stretches the track into something built for wide-eyed dancefloors.

Big heart US deep house figurehead Chez Damier has opened his studio up to new school collaborators once again, with Italy's Nico Lahs and Adeen chief Camille getting back to work on a new series of tunes inspired by jazz-fusion and the sounds broadcast on legendary radio station WJZZ. 'Dragon Breath' opens with tense rhythmic interplay and expressive horns and vibraphones, while 'Tunita' offers shimmering rhythms. 'Third World Wave' is a busy broken beat with weighty kicks and brilliantly loose percussion all run through with off-kilter horns. The 12" expands the palette, from the lighter touch of 'Haiku' to the driving force of 'Bullet Train'. Another majestic collaboration.

Polished and forward-looking even 40-odd years on from its initial release, Bourbon Suite captures Japanese female keyboard trio Cosmos at a time when fusion leaned into pop accessibility without losing technical finesse. Built around layered keys and crisp studio musicianship, the album moves with a sleek, late-night feel. 'Midnight Shuffle' stands out for reworking earlier material into a smoother, instrumental-led groove, while 'Cosmic Cosmos' drifts into more spacey territory and is driven by elastic bass and shimmering synth lines. There's a clarity to the arrangements that keeps things light on their feet and means this remains a refined example of early 80s crossover fusion.

Tar Hallow label boss Thanos Hana brings his hardware-heavy industrial grit to the Dolly TS series with 'Sliced Glitter, No Shampoo'. This four-track EP strips techno to its rusted core, fusing obsessive machine-funk with the energy of the Rotterdam sound. Driven by hammering rhythms and metallic synthesis, these 4 tracks are a masterclass in raw techno-realness!

2026 Repress

ANNE & SERA J return for the second edition of their Symbiosis series on Mutual Rytm.

ANNE, known for potent techno on the likes of Soma and Hardgroove, and Nechto and Life In Patterns associate Sera J, have had standout years that have seen them put out a stream of essential club tracks. They are partners in both life and music, and the first volume of 'Symbiosis' on SHDW's Mutual Rytm imprint was their first release together. Delivering an honest representation of their innermost feelings, having also contributed to the label's 'Federation Of Rytm III' VA in February, this new six-track EP (plus bonus cuts) presents a 'mature and refined connection between their souls'.

The second instalment of 'Symbiosis' reflects not only their deep personal connection, but also their collaborative synergy as musical peers with the same goals. The EP captures the essence of their mutual artistic journey and showcases the strength of their bond both in life and through their shared creative vision - to create a storyline through sounds coming from their souls and convey a narrative that many listeners may find relatable.

SERA J kicks off with the lithe and melodically elegant techno of 'Your Soul Is Art' which will have both heart and heels dancing. 'Illusions' is a more heavy and dubby cut with paired back grooves and pulsing synths, while 'Glacial Pace' is an urgent deep techno roller with turbocharged stabs and huge icy hi hats locking you into a trance.

ANNE steps up on the B-side with 'Floating Waves' exploring physical, chunky drum funk and raw synth textures. 'Planetary Dust' is a dark and moody astral techno journey to the stars, before 'Sweet Seventeen' brings a more melodic cut with a sense of hope and joy in the bright pads that shimmer above the glitchy grooves.

Both artists also offer two digital bonus cuts with SERA J's 'Syncrosonix' and 'Space Velocity' delivering perfectly reduced minimal techno monsters, while ANNE's 'Gentle Loop' and 'Starburst' are interplanetary trips with widescreen cosmic synths.

Shimmering Xhosa traditions and deep electronic futures vibrate as South African sonic poet and composer Dumama unveils her groundbreaking debut solo album, Towards An Expanse. Sometimes gospel, sometimes electro-psychedelic space travel, Towards An Expanse unfurls from a languid lament into an ever-expanding sonic universe. Dumama defies conventional genre boundaries while excavating deep personal and cultural histories in this concise but boundaryless collection, recorded between New York, Johannesburg and Berlin. Dumama first gained international attention with her acclaimed 2020 collaborative album, Buffering Juju, created with fellow South African musician and artist Kechou, and lauded as Global Album of the Month by The Guardian. Her new solo work draws on a rich lineage of South African voices. Gugulethu Duma (aka Dumama) is a musician / composer / sonic poet / creative producer from the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Dumama is one of the few uhadi players in the world. Her use of the traditional Xhosa bowed instrument guides her profound story-telling, blending ancestral roots into an urgent electro-acoustic palette. The album was born out of sessions with acclaimed musician and producer Shahzad Ismaily in New York and South African powerhouse Nandi Ndlovu in Johannesburg.

ICONYC steps into new territory with Traffk, a spellbinding EP from UVITA, Twiins, and Motip White. Built around two deeply immersive compositions, Traffik operates as a threshold rather than a destination — a carefully measured passage into unfamiliar territory where tension is curated, expectations are subverted, and every detail feels deliberately withheld until the right moment.

At the center lies the title track, “Traffik,” a commanding convergence of three distinct creative voices distilled into a singular, unsettling vision. Suspended between austere minimalism and intricate design, the piece unfolds with a forceful rhythmic backbone that plunges into subterranean depths. Twisting brass motifs flicker and bend like fractured light across polished surfaces, creating an atmosphere that is both tactile and elusive. As the groove locks into a hypnotic oscillation, a spectral vocal presence emerges, injecting a sense of weight and foreboding before the track fractures inward, collapsing into a violent release that ejects us from its vortex with uncompromising intensity.

On our B-side, UVITA and Twiins reconvene for “Lucy Tried For It,” a continuation that trades overt drama for a slow-burning psychological pull. Anchored by a prowling low-frequency current and a relentless percussive drive, the track draws us deeper through carefully placed sonic detonations that expand its spatial dimension. Gradually, malfunctioning mechanical textures and distant, almost feral cries seep into the framework, setting the stage for an introspective spoken-word moment that nudges the piece further into the subconscious. As fragmented melodic elements begin to surface, “Lucy Tried For It” reaches a moment of suspended reflection before surging forward once more, closing the EP on an emotionally charged and resolute note.

Growing up just across the water from Italy, Clint Spiteri and Madeleine Baldacchino absorbed the shimmer of Italo disco long before Deadisko took shape. Their analogue pop celebrates the past while embracing the future. “1987” melts an addictive piano house groove with clean rhythms, a sleek and smooth sound with just a hint of romance. Cat-like, “La Costa” stretches before finding its funk-filled footing. Synth stabs are ruffled, teasing rhythm patterns opening avenues for melodies to bend, curve and race. The flip is introduced with the pop opulence of “This World.” Blue undercurrents are bolstered by Sean Kamati’s emboldening vocals, his smouldering voice accompanied by daring keyboard play. Brassy tones are veiled in smoke for “Ssunrise Drive.” Mechanical reverb is offered a human touch, organic warmth breaking through to an incandescent shine. Echoes of Italy that pulsate with the rhythm of Malta.

After a short break, Vibes and Grooves is back with Collab Grooves Part 2. Following the success of our initial collaborative venture, we continue our mission of uniting visionary producers under a single sonic umbrella. This time Jemaho, Shaka and DFRA come together for another deep collaboration.
With “Joudia’s Groove (Drifting Away – The DAT Version)” on the A side, we are delighted to have Jemaho on board. He delivers an outstanding, warm and soulful vocal house cut driven by a smooth, uplifting groove and rich musical depth. With its unique tape sound aesthetic, a true masterpiece. Certainly a future club classic.
The B side opens with „Sparkling Soul“ from label resident Shaka. A jazzy house affair that blends vibrant piano melodies, a hypnotic lead synth line, and a tight bassline. It radiates warmth, sophistication, and an ever-present sense of romance.
The second track comes from DFRA, the man from Buenos Aires, who is already well known on the label for his outstanding tracks from the latest Collab Grooves. With “New York Style”, DFRA delivers a deep house tune shaped by warmth, restraint, and a steady underground groove. Subtle textures and raw rhythms create a smooth, flowing atmosphere that feels natural and unforced.
Timeless in feel and refined in production, Collab Grooves Part 2 captures an effortless flow that speaks directly to both the heart and the dancefloor.

SPANDAU20 returns, bridging Berlin and UK lineage, with new material from Mr. G, Elli Acula, FJAAK and Dajusch, continuing to showcase the many shades of contemporary club music through its forward-facing approach. On its 12th release, the Berlin label presents a record that reflects individual artistry as much as the unmistakable identity of the SPANDAU20 sound. Opening the release is Mr. G with 'I Came To See You'. The track is a true embodiment of his distinctive production style, unfolding through bouncing basslines, swinging percussion and hypnotic looping vocals and capturing the raw spirit of old-school dance music with fresh spirit. Sitting somewhere between house and techno, it sets the tone with a particular kind of hypnosis, taking the listeners deep into the endlessly circling groove. Elli Acula follows with 'Take One Higher', a fierce and uncompromising techno track that perfectly reflects the label's hallmark aesthetic. She channels the raw energy of the 90s through a modern lens, pairing rough edged stabs, cavernous kicks and gritty percussion programmed with unfiltered dancefloor intensity in mind. The result is a high-pressure track designed to fully consume the room. On the flip side, FJAAK unleash 'Drip Code', showcasing the duo's signature blend of powerful low-end pressure and analogue grooves. Having spent over a decade shaping Berlin's techno landscape through their machine-driven approach, the pair deliver crisp percussion, huge open hi-hats and teeth-rattling drum machine combinations, while racing chords and looping vocals propel the track forward. It is a direct and highly effective example of the energy that has come to define the SPANDAU20 universe. Closing the release is Dajusch with 'Tongue In Cheek'. Deeply influenced by the foundational sounds of Detroit and Chicago, the classically trained producer leans into warmer, more uplifting territory. The track combines grooving basslines, saturated 909 percussion and piano-led melodies with disco-tinged vocal loops that glide effortlessly across the arrangement. This closer highlights Dajusch's refined understanding of groove, texture and atmosphere, rounding off the release with a distinctly euphoric touch. SPANDAU20 012 is another example of classy production skills merged with genuine dancefloor purpose. As ever, the label lets the music speak for itself. The many shades of sound are on full display, bound together by the singular identity that has made SPANDAU20 one of Berlin's most distinctive voices in the electronic music landscape.

Having spent over a decade shaping Berlin's techno landscape through their machine-driven approach, the pair deliver crisp percussion, huge open hi-hats and teeth-rattling drum machine combinations, while racing chords and looping vocals propel the track forward. It is a direct and highly effective example of the energy that has come to define the SPANDAU20 universe. Closing the release is Dajusch with 'Tongue In Cheek'. Deeply influenced by the foundational sounds of Detroit and Chicago, the classically trained producer leans into warmer, more uplifting territory. The track combines grooving basslines, saturated 909 percussion and piano-led melodies with disco-tinged vocal loops that glide effortlessly across the arrangement. This closer highlights Dajusch's refined understanding of groove, texture and atmosphere, rounding off the release with a distinctly euphoric touch. SPANDAU20 012 is another example of classy production skills merged with genuine dancefloor purpose. As ever, the label lets the music speak for itself. The many shades of sound are on full display, bound together by the singular identity that has made SPANDAU20 one of Berlin's most distinctive voices in the electronic music landscape.

Bosconi Records returns with Tangled Waves Vol. 2, the second chapter of the series—this time expanding the concept into a four-artist VA, diving deep into progressive house and neo-trance territories while keeping that unmistakable timeless, old-school spirit alive.
Like shifting currents moving in parallel, Tangled Waves Vol. 2 brings together different voices, each following their own path while converging in the same flow—crafted for longevity, built for the dancefloor.

The EP opens with Fly High by DJ Glc, founder of Digging Deeper records and already known to the label through his contribution to the Home Cooked Beats compilation. Here he delivers an epic italo-infused progressive cut, driven by a classic rolling bassline and lifted by a futuristic arpeggio that bridges past and present. Hypnotic, warm, and undeniably effective—pure late-night material.
Next up is Strange Gift by rising artist Little Sea, founder of Sea Horse Records. A high-energy progressive groover with a clear nod to ‘90s classics, the track blends a punchy forward-moving bassline with bright melodic flashes and a sensual female vocal in the breakdown—making it a proper peaktime weapon with emotional depth.
On the flip side, Matteo Guarnieri (aka Rare Happiness) makes his Bosconi debut following a standout release on Kulture Galerie. His track Roller Disco Truck merges old and new with ease—leaning into a tech house framework with a distinct groove, textured stabs, and a subtle arpeggio that adds a psychedelic edge. A playful yet driving cut with strong character.
Closing the EP is Stargazing by Andrea Mera, also debuting on the label. A soft, mesmerizing progressive journey, the track unfolds with lush pads, a fluid atmosphere, and a gently evolving energy. With its warm 303 touches and emotional depth, it feels like a timeless closing moment—introspective, romantic, and built for those final hours on the floor.
With Tangled Waves Vol. 2, Bosconi introduces a new wave of artists while staying true to its roots—delivering four carefully crafted cuts that balance nostalgia and forward motion. Another essential addition for the bag, made to last.

A1) Borai & Denham Audio - Make Me (original release 2023)

Released in 2023 on the British label Room Two Records (catalogue R212001) on twelve inch vinyl, Make Me combines breakbeat, house and speed garage with high energy, featuring clear use of Amen breaks, rumbling sub bass and sharp rave sounds. At the heart of the track lies an instantly recognisable vocal hook from the mid eighties, a sample taken from Donna Allen - Serious (1986). The result feels like a long forgotten rave anthem from the nineties wrapped in a modern sound.

The original twelve inch pressing quickly became a highly sought after collector's item and received a limited pink vinyl repress in 2025. This track, first issued only on orange vinyl in 2023, was officially re released once all samples were cleared. It has every ingredient of a future classic, a true underground anthem for fans of modern UK rave and jungle energy.

A2) Smoke City - Mr. Gorgeous (and Miss Curvaceous) (Mood II Swing Vocal Mix) (original release 1997)

Originally released in 1997 on the album Flying Away by Smoke City. The Mood II Swing Remix, produced by New York house duo John Ciafone and Lem Springsteen (also the producers behind Ultra Naté - Free), takes the song straight to the dance floor with a smooth groove, soulful vocals and a deep, hypnotic flow.

The iconic line "Cool and calm, Mr Gorgeous..." remains untouched, while the remix enriches the original Latin and trip hop influences of the band with that distinctive late nineties house atmosphere. The result is a timeless club favourite, almost nine minutes of pure vibe (the Mood II Swing Vocal Mix runs 9minutes and 20 seconds), adored by DJs who like to bring a touch of soul to their house sets.

Released on Jive Records, the track received great praise. Music Week highlighted its "tight ay ay ay hook" and noted that the Mood II Swing and Hyperspace mixes made it a real standout. The original version reached number one in Italy in 1997, and the Mood II Swing Remix has since gained cult status in the Belgian club scene and beyond as the perfect marriage between soul and dance floor energy.

B1) Chris Raven - I Know You Love Me Too (Bruce Norris Remix) (original release 1997)

Christian Raabe, better known as Chris Raven, is a German producer who made his name in the late nineties progressive trance scene.

The Bruce Norris Remix of I Know You Love Me Too (Additive Records, catalogue 12AD 027) first appeared in late 1997 and was officially released in early 1998. The remix builds an euphoric atmosphere witha beautiful melody, dreamy pads and powerful drums, all typical of the progressive trance sound of that period.

The track gained extra attention when it appeared on Northern Exposure 3: Expeditions by Sasha and John Digweed in 1999. Many fans first discovered it there (especially the Van Bellen Remix version), helping to cement the cult status of I Know You Love Me Too within the progressive and trance community.

B2) Grooveyard - Mary Go Wild (original release 1996)

One of the most recognisable and iconic club tracks in Belgian and Dutch underground house history is without a doubt Mary Go Wild, released in 1996 on EC Records. The track quickly became the defining anthem of the rave scene in the Low Countries.

With a raw groove around 133 BPM, pumping four to the floor drums and the hypnotic vocal sample "Mary... go wild!", the record set dance floors ablaze in the nineties. Producer Jeroen Verheij, also known as Secret Cinema (from the classic Timeless Attitude), perfectly captured the raw energy of the European house movement of that era.

To this day Mary Go Wild stands as a symbol of pure rave power, a timeless anthem that, as one Discogs collector put it, "still works on any dance floor." Original twelve inch pressings on EC Records and later issues on Blanco Y Negro are highly sought after, and the track remains a staple in retro house and classic DJ sets.

C1) Dave Swayze - Last Flight To Paris (original release 2000)

Dave Swayze, best known for his classic Goldwave, has several hidden gems to his name, and Last Flight To Paris is certainly one of them. Released in November 2000 on the Belgian label Yeti Records, the track is a subtle blend of trance and progressive house. It is known for its emotional melody, dreamy build up and strong percussion, built on the foundation of progressive trance but with thewarmth and groove of house.

At the time, Last Flight To Paris was frequently played by progressive trance DJs and soon became a cult favourite among vinyl collectors within the genre. Original pressings on Yeti Records are now extremely rare and much sought after. The mix of emotion, euphoria and timeless club energy makes Last Flight To Paris a hidden treasure from the late trance era of 1999 and 2000.

C2) Joe Goddard - Music Is The Answer (Hot Since 82 Remix) (original release 2017)

This remix by Hot Since 82 (Daley Padley, from Barnsley in the north of England) for Music Is The Answer by Joe Goddard is partly based on the original classic Celeda - Music Is The Answer (in the Danny Tenaglia Remix). It was released in February 2017 as a digital exclusive through Domino Records.

Hot Since 82 reworked the original, a vocal house track by Hot Chip member Joe Goddard, into a deep, grooving house track with a warm rolling bass line. The soulful vocals of Joe Goddard (featuring SLO) take on a subtle melancholic tone in his remix, creating a modern house classic filled with emotion and drive.

The remix became a major club favourite in 2017 and 2018, supported by leading names in the tech house scene and heard at festivals around the world. Interestingly, this popular version had never been released on vinyl, which only increased its cult status among collectors. Music Is The Answer (Hot Since 82 Remix) remained a digital classic for years, until now, finally available in this long awaited vinyl edition.

D1) Just A Man - I'm Sorry (Original Club Mix) (original release early 2000s)

The French project Just A Man consists of brothers Hervé and Nicolas Subrechicot. Their track I'm Sorry is an emotionally charged house record that perfectly captures the early 2000s club atmosphere.

Released in 2003, the song combines soulful male vocals with a warm, rhythmic production that blends UK garage and classic club house influences. The Original Club Mix (6 minutes and 14 seconds) builds gradually towards a powerful, uplifting climax, carried by rich chords and an irresistible groove.

Although I'm Sorry stayed somewhat under the radar at the time, it is regarded by connoisseurs as a hidden gem, a perfect balance of melody and groove. The twelve inch vinyl release (on RKG / Motor Music, 2003) is now hard to find and highly prized among vinyl and house collectors, which only adds to its appeal.

I'm Sorry embodies the pure sound of early 2000s vocal house: sincere, funky and danceable, with that unmistakable UK garage touch, even more evident in the G Box Garage Club Remix on the same EP. An unfairly overlooked track that has always remained a true timeless classic since the very beginning of 12 Inch Lovers.

D2) Teddy Pendergrass -Life Is A Song Worth Singing (Jamie Jones Remix) (original release 2019)

In 2019 Jamie Jones breathed new life into the classic soul song by Teddy Pendergrass with a contemporary house rework. The remix was released in March 2019 as part of the digital EP Mixmag Presents: Teddy Pendergrass - The Remixes, issued in honour of the documentary If You Don't Know Me, a film about the rise of Teddy Pendergrass, the first African American male artist to achieve five consecutive platinum albums in the United States during the seventies.

Jamie Jones stayed true to the feel good essence of the 1978 original but wrapped it in a modern club sound, with pulsing synths, a warm rolling groove and a tight four to the floor beat providing the perfect base for Teddy's powerful and instantly recognisable voice.

The result is a captivating, soulful house track that effortlessly bridges past and present without losing the emotional power of Pendergrass's vocal delivery.

Despite its widespread popularity in the international club scene, where it became a favourite among DJs who love to blend soul with house, this remix never had a physical vinyl release. Until now, with its long awaited appearance on 12 Inch Lovers Sampler 12.
