Mysterious Brooklyn label and production crew getting in the game with some techno and EBM bangers. All are re-workings of recognizable or obscure classics. "Looping Blood" the clubbiest of the EP builds around a Controlled Bleeding loop and blossoms into a spiraling unstoppable groove accented by crashing reverbs and jackin drums. "Alaaarmed" is a pounding re-edit of Tommi Stumpff, early german minimal punk not unlike Nitzer Ebb. "Take Two" is a great remix of Front 242's epic industrial classic "Take One" dubbing out the lyrics for an instrumental approach. "Open Bar" puts the scissors to Skinny Puppy's early 80s classic "Last Call" Looks like the aptly named Effective Weapns label certainly providing some hot jams for this fall.

There´s not much known about Fabror Resande Mac but them hailing from Stockholm Sweden and having released even fewer matrial yet... an ep on Afficicionado and one on Back to Baleraics.
But both to much applause and already being sought afterness.
FRM do masterfully crafted, slow paced (pacific) coastal sound with all the ingredients for making you long for more. Steady bass pulses, mechanical percussion, punctual punches make waves from underwater to hyperspace - seductively deep and almost see through light.

We are honoured to let Dilated Pupils bring us a great release on MAYAK. A-side "Remi's Phone" is a really deep spoken word techno track. "Shine Dub" on a B-side is probably the most rewarding dub-house track, that makes everyone smile on the dance floor, and that was tested thoroughly.

File under : Dub. The story begins in 2000 in Britany (France). Two guys decide to create a sound system with the aim of sharing their common passion for roots reggae and early digital. Rootystep (selecta) and MacGyver (operator) begin to collect records and purchase music equipment. They are quickly joined by Pupajim who becomes the MC, the singer and the dub builder. The Stand High Patrol first toured the land of Brittany, gradually moving towards stepper dub production emanating from the English stage. Fifteen years later, the sound is more present than ever. Stand High has created a true identity and has established itself as one of the essential sound systems of the French dub scene. The french dubadub crew presents a second album and extends the musical experimentation from jazzy riddims to the ruffest dub sounds. Showcasing raw hiphop beats, digital reggae and bassmusic material voiced by Pupajim, « A matter of scale » shatters musical barriers.

Number three in Prins Thomas Rett if Fletta excursion welcomes our good friends from Full Pupp Trulz&Robin with Change, a 10 minute deep techno buildup piece in a somewhat classic, almost trentemolleresque, soundscape + tradition. Minimalistic but huge in a motoric wall of sound style long not heard. Large! Dunjon sets the counterpoint on B, bassdridden, sparse, bubbling sturdy grooving techno Is Dub comes back to the richer atmosphere of Change for another hallcinating deep and dubby piece. Magnus International's releases are few and far between. With his solo debut 12"out in 2006 and one in 2009 we can easily classify him as our least prolific(lazy) family member. However, Magnus has that rare gift for melody and drama... the so called Magnus factor. So whenever he decides to lay his knowledge upon you, lend him an ear. Debuting on Full Pupp as part of "Kalle, Magnus & Daniel" together with Kalle Risan SandÂs and Blackbelt Andersen, Magnus helped lay the foundations to what we all know as nu disco/space disco/cosmic disco/scando disco etc.(insert your own silly take on it here).
