Deconstructed EBM from the Nous affiliate Spoiled Drama kicks off the new Science Fiction compilation - 10 tracks of crazed machine grooves further diversifying the Science Fiction's exploration into synthetics. The opener driven simply by an obnoxiously saturated digital drum machine and a mechanical body music bass loop simultaneously hints to late 80s darkside Chicago roots with hard flanged hi-hats and a detuned string machine.

Continuing on from Vol 1's theme of established artists working in disguise, 'Music First Vol 2' delivers another sonic assault with this absolute rollercoaster ride of a record. The mysterious Scorpio T opens the EP with 'Neptune Rising', a squelching acid-bass boomer that can simultaneously spiritually elevate and physically devastate any dancefloor. Rounding off Side A it's followed by Scandalous Arthur's 'Acid In My Mind', a lo-fi tape-hissed jacking beast of a banger that sounds like it's genuinely been brewing in a vat of highly toxic acid for at least 25 years and guaranteed to melt your mind. On the flipside comes JaX DaX returning from Vol 1 with the low-frequency moody slo-mo electro workout 'Fucking Computer' that oozes bad attitude and booty-shaking basslines in equal abundance. Bringing the trip to a close is Kyrenic Azalee with the self-titled 'Kyrenic Azalee', an x-rated new beat tour-de-force of epic proportions that will fry minds and bodies with its relentless energy. For the second instalment from Quantum Entanglement we delve into the misty past, a time when moving parts ruled the dance, when the power of the night rested on a needle and a bassline, and before CDJs calculated the bpm for you...you had to touch things, buy things, and the bassline ruled over all. Acid Thunder, a classic by Fast Eddie, was the first dance record i ever bought. It was important. The guy who sold it to me, at the time a spotty school kid in his school uniform, was called John Stapleton, and the shop was Sidetrax in Bristol. Mentrix totally gets the kinda NY sluttiness of the original, and brings it right up to date....less of a cover, more of a homage, the entanglement of then and now. Need You is an entanglement of two very unlikely BFFs... John Lee Hooker and Joey Beltram. This isn't really a cover, it's more like the offspring of many things, times, and moments - it's like the grandchild of John Lee Hooker's track dated the nephew of Joey Beltram's track and lived in Neukölln. Again, Direct - 'Techno Gone Mad' on R&S was another of my earliest techno purchases - at the time it was considered 'Dutch Hardcore' but now, it's almost cute.... "Destroy The Invaders" gilt als das beste Dubalbum der frühen 80er von Lloyd James aka Prince Jammy, dem späterem King Jammy ! - Aufgenommen im Channel One Studio mit der Roots Radics Band und im King Tubby's Studio abgemischt, u.a. basierend auf Originalversionen von Junior Reid, Hugh Mundell und Wayne Smith, wurde die LP, auch inspiriert durch den anhaltenden Erfolg von Computerspielen wie 'Space Invaders', in einem ikonographischen Artwork von Tony McDermott erstmalig 1982 veröffentlicht. Ein Longplayer der in jede gepflegte Sammlung des Dub Reggae gehört!

ArsGoatia ist ein besonderes Geschöpf. Eine neue Formation mit vielen Verbindungen in verschiedene Richtungen. Es ist kein Geheimnis, dass sie sich aus dem Umfeld der "Funkenflug Society" und den Bewohnern der mystischen Neudegg Alm zusammengefunden haben. Die "Funkenfluag Society" ist ein Kollektiv von leidenschaftlichen Menschen. Sie betreiben eine kleine, aber feine Brauerei hoch oben in den Alpen, es gibt Kunst und Freiheit, Handwerk, Performance, Höhepunkt ist das Musikfestival "House Of The Holy" während der Sommersonnenwende. B.R. ist der Gründer und Mastermind des Festivals und Frontmann von ArsGoatia: "Wir alle bestehen aus Klang... Musik erleuchtet und verbindet Menschen! Unser Spirit ist es, Regeln zu brechen, Mauern zum Einsturz zu bringen und Grenzen zu überschreiten!"

"Agitators Of Hysteria" ist ArsGoatias zweites Album. Wütende Ausbrüche, die aus den Tiefen eines undurchdringlichen Abgrunds aufsteigen und luziferische Wahrheiten predigen, durchdrungen von Perversion, finsterer Bosheit, unerbittlicher Gewalt und Tod. Eine psychedelische Erfahrung wird vom ersten Song an versprochen.

Erstaunlich ist die Produktion von "Agitators Of Hysteria". Das Album wurde in den Q7 Studios/Deutschland von Michael Zech (The Ruins Of Beverast, Ascension, Hell Militia) aufgenommen und gemischt und in den Woodshed Studios/Deutschland von V. Santura (Trypticon, Dark Fortress, Celtic Frost) gemastert. T.K. erklärt: "Viele von uns schätzen einen lebendigen, feurigen Soundblast und diese Jungs liefern!
