Ten years after her first release, electronic musician Mor Elian presents her debut album Solid Space. Project Pat, the older brother of Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J, is a legend in the Memphis rap scene. He began rapping in the 90s with Killa Klan Kaze and released several independent mixtapes. In 1999 he released his debut album Ghetty Green via Hypnotize Minds/Loud Records. Bristol via NYC's DJ Nature makes house and beatdown so raw, dusty and dishevelled it feels like it's been put together in an old shed with rudimentary hand tools and might just collapse at any moment. But it is also brilliantly soulful and real, with synths infusing each loose arrangement with real heat and the drum patterns connecting deeply. Across four cuts here, he layers up those signature low ends with different motifs - funkier drums and watery melodies on 'Shattering Myths,', r&b vocal swirls on 'One' and unusual synth incantations on 'Medusa Weed', while 'Eternal Winter' is a subtle celebration with gentle charm. On “Reflection”, Hooverphonic’s second album with vocalist Noémie Wolfs, they return to a natural analogue sound. Alex Callier and Raymond Geerts didn’t just want to record in a studio, but at fans’ homes to get the specific reverb “Reflection”. Therefore, in early 2013, Hooverphonic launched an appeal to their fans to enrol potentially unique homes in the ambitious concept of “Hooverdomestic”. Ultimately, five locations were selected, four in Belgium and one in France. The result is the most infectious and cheerful album Hooverphonic has ever made. In addition, Noémie Wolfs is assisted on the album by three new vocalists/instrumentalists, who give an extra sense of space to the songs on Reflection.

In a flash-in-the-pan industry like music, Dave Lee's career is notable for both its longevity and consistency. As a record producer and remixer, DJ and curator, he's now clocked up well over 30 years and, if such things existed, would be nailed on for a carriage clock for long service to add to the numerous hits and landmarks he's enjoyed over a storied career. His latest album, Produced With Love II, continues the work he started with 2017's superb collection. Incorporating aspects of house, soul and disco and crafted with the attention to detail you'd expect from someone of Lee's heritage and calibre, Produced With Love II comprises 12 brand new songs and will arrive in June 2022. The writing process has always remained the same and Dave has always preferred to work face-to-face with artists whenever possible - albeit with a few enforced remote sessions due to the pandemic.

"No Name Horses" has grown into a one-of-a-kind big band, thanks to its sophisticated ensemble built on longstanding relationships of trust, the diverse
original compositions of Ozone and the other members, and its boundless creativity and playfulness. The band has performed both in Japan and overseas.

In 2024, the band changed its name from "Makoto Ozone featuring No Name Horse" to "Makoto Ozone No Name Horse," and began activities under a new
lineup with the addition of three new members: Hidetaro Matsui, Yu Riku, and Shinpei Ogawa. This is the first album since the new lineup was released in
November 2024.

Returning to the classic big band sound, this album was created with each member contributing a new song, based on the concept of a superb swing and resonance.

In den 90ern hatte Jad Fair fünf Lieblingsbands und Songwriter: Daniel Johnston, The Pastels, Sonic Youth, Teenage Fanclub und Yo La Tengo. Das ist echt eine coole Liste, aber das Besondere daran ist, dass Fair im Laufe von etwa zwölf Jahren mit allen in irgendeiner Form Musik gemacht hat. Jad Fair ist seit einem halben Jahrhundert produktiv, lange bevor das Internet ein simultanes und scheinbar ewiges Archiv von allem schaffen konnte, was jemand mit seinen Vorlieben gemacht hat.
