Off the heels of a few successful digital compilations, newly found LA based label For The Heads proudly kicks off their vinyl series with a 4-track collaborative EP from Subtle Mind & mrshl. All 4 of these cuts bring freshness and originality to the ever-growing 140 sound and are a meticulous blend of styles given both of the artist's virtuosity and creative ability.

First, "Built The Same" sets the pace of the EP with luscious chords and a prolific melody all wrapped together by it's enticing low end. Next, the title track "Can You Hear It" is a weighty number focused on it's orbiting sub-bass and crisp percussion with a switch up that is sure to get any dance moving. On the B-side, an exceptional and unparalleled fusion of both modern synth-bass oscillations with the classical UK style groove and step of some jungle and garage is evident in "When The Rain Comes"; all of this pieced together nicely with a jazzy saxophone sequence. Rounding out the EP, "We're Alright Now" features a radiating, encircling melody that is sure to grab the attention of it's listeners with punching low end and soulful vocal shouts.

The latest Subaltern release comes from new signee and rising talent Mrshl. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, California, this powerful grime-influenced debut also brings British Grime star and Mike Skinner collaborator Grim Sickers along for the ride:

A - The Crown feat. Grim Sickers
EP opener ‘The Crown’ lines up to be nothing but a true anthem. Rough and tough bass-lines complement a barrage of razor-sharp bars, which Grim Sickers delivers in true UK style. Beware, strong stuff!

B1 - Death Dealer
Digging deeper on the second cut of the record, ‘Death Dealer’ fuses MRSHL’s grime influences with a meditative sound system vibe. The hypnotic riff gives space to waves of bass and detuned oneiric pads, alternating into a mind-twisting dance-floor weapon.

B2 - Endless Mirrors (Harp Riddim)
‘Endless Mirrors’, presents an intelligent and carefully constructed melodic piece. Bouncy kicks complement light harp lines and piano riffs, merging into a dreamy soundscape which takes us back to the times of Legend of Zelda.

Hypnotizing rhythms and stormy bass cuts make up Various Visions 2, as D-Operation Drop, Zygos, Hebbe and mrshl unite on the Copenhagen based label's 9th vinyl release.

Various Visions is a new series of vinyl releases by Circle Vision, launched to present an umbrella of artists from around the globe, who share the label's vision of sound design and affection for immersive bass music.

LGBTQ+ music artist Tia Kofi releases their debut album 'Read My Lips'.

The album is a collection of 11 stellar pop songs and sees Tia collaborate with a variety of A- List writers and producers including Parx, Poppy Baskcomb, Little Boots, Kisch, Tom Aspaul, Gil Lewis, Kennen and Bright Light Bright Light.

The album includes the Top 10 Commercial Dance Chart hits 'Outside In', 'Look What You've Done' and 'Heart Beating', alongside brilliant new tracks such as 'Read My Lips', 'Movie' and 'Found Someone'.

As a debut album, 'Read My Lips' firmly positions Tia as a credible rising star of British pop.
