Raw, heavy, aggressive and at times genuinely creepy, Kent metallers Graphic Nature are one of the most energized and exciting new bands to emerge from the British metal scene in years. Taking their name from a track on Deftones’ Koi No Yokan album, in 2019 Graphic Nature announced themselves with the single Grit, and immediately began carving a name for themselves as a ferocious new force in British metal. With their first EP new skin, mixing moments of snarling nu-metal and the scalding fury of Slipknot’s debut album with instrumental passages that at times recall the genius of Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor, they have found their sonic identity, the band released their first LP in 2023, produced by Sam Bloor. As the band continues to rise Things are only going to get bigger. Graphic Nature are here to stay!

Glam metal band Pretty Boy Floyd formed in 1987. Their 1989 debut album Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz spawned two singles: "Rock and Roll (Is Gonna Set the Night on Fire)" and "I Wanna Be with You". At the heart of Pretty Boy Floyd's appeal lay their unabashed celebration of all things glam. With their teased hair, flamboyant outfits, and unabashedly hedonistic lyrics, the band embodied the spirit of excess that defined the era. The LP captured the essence of the glam metal genre, combining catchy hooks, driving rhythms, and over-the-top theatrics to create an album that was as infectious as it was unapologetically fun. Over the years, the album has grown into an incredibly influential classic within the glam metal community.

“Come my lady/Come-Come my lady/ You’re my butterfly, sugar baby”…If there was a song-track to the turn of the millennium, Crazy Town’s “Butterfly” was it, starting with its appearance on the 1999 album Gift of Game and winding up with its reign at #1 in the charts in February 2001. Anchored by a sample of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Pretty Little Ditty,” it forever defined the term “nu-metal power ballad,” and was a rare-for-the-genre love song to boot! But the album from whence it came didn’t fly as high as it did, with over 2.5 million copies sold, just because of “Butterfly.” The Gift of Game brings the noise with an all-out alternative metal assault, and the band’s rappers—bolstered by guest appearances from KRS-One and Mad Lion—are markedly better than their rap/metal contemporaries. And then there’s the album art, created by member Shifty Shellshock’s father and uncle, which lends a vivid rendering to the fantasies of every teenage boy listening to “Lollipop Porn.” In short, this was a freakin’ HUGE record that somehow…somehow!...has NEVER been on vinyl. So how to handle its momentous debut on its 25th anniversary? Well, first, we’ve created an inner sleeve with all of the lyrics (and there are a lot of ‘em). Our sources also tell us that the very explicit hidden bonus track on the CD release has mysteriously made it on here. But when it comes to the vinyl, given what we anticipate is going to be, ahem, crazy demand, we have pressed the record in two different colors, one in “Red Devil Velvet” vinyl and the other in “Yellow Butterfly” vinyl. Emerging from the shadows and plumes of smoke, Chicago, IL ensemble HUNTSMEN are set to make their return in 2024 with their third album, The Dry Land, set to be released via Prosthetic Records on June 7. On their first full-length in four years, HUNTSMEN’s The Dry Land traverses the liminal space between the living and the dead by lifting the veil of the abyss itself. Born of suffering and hardship, The Dry Land unifies the dark and light that resides in all of us through allegories of purgatorial strife and human spirit. Following the release of their sophomore full-length, Mandala of Fear, in 2020 and The Dying Pines EP in 2022 HUNTSMEN’s intervening years between studio albums were marked with devastatingly contrasting highs and lows. Whilst their body of studio work continued to garner acclaim from fans and critics alike, chronic illness would become a recurring uphill battle for the ensemble. As these jarring mixed fortunes reached their apex towards the end of 2022, the band reached towards each other outside of their craft as old friends. Taking stock of four years of tribulations led to a reevaluation of what it is to be creatives and, in turn, ushered in a collective rebirth. Writing sessions saw a number of artistic firsts for HUNTSMEN, most notably with the first full collaborative inclusion of vocalist Aimee Bueno-Knipe. The creative process soon saw HUNTSMEN adding more black metal influences into their Americana and folk tinged doom, evidenced most overtly on tracks such as This, Our Gospel and lead single In Time, All Things. Elsewhere, HUNTSMEN’s knack for finely crafted and richly layered melodies offer moments of resplendence on the slow burning Lean Times and closer The Herbsight. Mirroring the circumstances and environment that led to its creation, The Dry Land’s pacing is one rooted in the art of rise and fall dynamics both musically and lyrically. Tales of escaping religious violence, malevolent apparitions and death incarnate all play key roles throughout the album’s narrative thread. HUNTSMEN treat each tale as both exorcism and exaltation, adding a pervasively unsettling quality to The Dry Land that is sure to stick long after the runtime is over. The Dry Land was recorded and mixed by Pete Grossmann at Bricktop Studios before being placed in the hands of Brad Boatright for mastering, with the resulting sound adding a towering grandiosity to the album whilst simultaneously highlighting HUNTSMEN’s newfound corrosive qualities. The Dry Land’s striking cover art was created by Derek Setzer, depicting an immolating dancer in high contrast black and white amongst rusted gold. In 1971, Atlantic Records released a pair of Dusty Springfield singles produced by the legendary songwriter/producer Jeff Barry (one-time songwriting and romantic partner of Ellie Greenwich, and author of too many hits to name): “Haunted”/”Nothing Is Forever” and “I Believe In You”/”Someone Who Cares.” A restless Dusty, freshly relocating to America from her native England, then departed the label and left an additional 9 songs recorded with Barry in the can, where they stayed until Rhino issued one track, “Faithful” (in mono), as a bonus track on the 1990s CD release of Dusty’s 1970 Atlantic album A Brand New Me. The other tracks didn’t surface until a subsequent deluxe reissue of Dusty’s landmark 1969 album Dusty in Memphis included them as bonus cuts.

Then, reissue producer Jim Pierson—who tracked down the missing masters after being lost for over two decades —assembled Dusty’s Barry-produced masters and put them together in a single package for the first time to create the third Dusty Springfield Atlantic Records album as planned in 1971. Real Gone Music’s release of Faithful on LP presents these historic Barry-Springfield collaborations exactly as they were originally intended to be heard, with the 12 tracks meant for the album release out on vinyl over 50 years later. All tracks are in stereo, while the liner notes on the new gatefold spread, penned by The Second Disc’s Joe Marchese, feature a number of rarely-seen photos of the legendary singer. These stunning pop, soul and gospel flavored selections showcase the iconic singer at the height of her vocal magic. A missing/ jumbled part of Dusty’s august recorded legacy, finally set right and available in its intended format. The eagerly awaited debut album, scheduled for release on Friday 13th February 1970, was cancelled when news broke that founding member and pianist Milton Keanes was hospitalised with a massive heart attack which left him fighting for his life.


The record company shelved the album and cancelled the scheduled release out of financial uncertainty of releasing a debut album from a band without its musical leader. When Milton was released from hospital in September 1970, he found out that a band from Birmingham, conveniently called ‘Black Sabbath’, had since released two albums containing metal versions of what he claims were his songs.


All recalled Jazz Sabbath albums had been destroyed when the warehouse burned down in June 1970; which turned out to be a case of insurance fraud by the label owner, leaving only a few bootleg tapes of Jazz Sabbath’s live performances as proof of existence.


The album masters were said to be lost in the fire, but were actually misplaced and gathered dust in the basement vaults of the recording studio. These tapes have now been remixed and, half a decade later, will finally be heard; proving that the heavy metal band worshipped by millions around the world are in fact nothing more than musical charlatans, thieving the music from a bedridden, hospitalised genius.

The album masters were said to be lost in the fire, but were actually misplaced and gathered dust in the basement vaults of the recording studio. These tapes have now been remixed and, half a decade later, will finally be heard; proving that the heavy metal band worshipped by millions around the world are in fact nothing more than musical charlatans, thieving the music from a bedridden, hospitalised genius.

Undoubtedly one of the most exciting acts to have emerged in drum & bass over the past decade, Voltage has joined forces with Hospital Records for the release of his long-awaited studio album 'Balance Over Symmetry' which marks the tenth year of his journey as a solo artist.

No stranger to the Hospital family with an album, 2 EPs and a handful of singles under his belt as part of drum & bass powerhouse group Kings Of The Rollers, it's now time to explore the solo sounds of Voltage which have slowly but surely carved him to be one of the most respected DJ & producers in the scene.

In his true rambunctious style, Voltage sets the swing with a wild card. 'So Close' is a sub-120BPM synthwave weapon which matches his retro-inspired fashion to his musical vibrations. The combination of catchy vocals, an 80s-esque bassline and an unforgettable topline melody sees the creation of something extremely different yet irresistible from Voltage.

Not straying too far from the roots of his influences, 'Natty Love' features the groove inducing vocals of sound system legend Sweetie Irie. Saturated sub wobbles juxtaposed with potent string plucks are intertwined with ease, peppered with that signature Voltage flair.

Teaming up with reggae and dancehall superstar Demolition Man known for his skill as a vocalist, producer, MC and sound engineer, 'Life Of A DJ' combines the sounds of Demo's with Voltage's unmissable sonic technique. 'Save Me From Myself' exposes
the lighter side to Voltage as he illustrates his versatility as an artist through a soul-heavy amen roller with a classic liquid bassline.

Reminiscent of the days of euphoric hardcore, 'Keep On Dancing' sets the vibe with uplifting piano chops and adrenalised vocals as crunchy snaps and rhythmic cymbals keep things moving beneath. For over 15 years, Zu’s modus operandi of straddling and abusing musical genres has resulted in over fifteen unique album releases across labels such as Ipecac, Atavistic and Headz (Japan). Apocalyptica Plays Metallica Vol. 2 continues the journey that began in 1996, when four cellists from the world-famous Sibelius Academy in Helsinki created a symphonic tribute to the greatest of the Big Four - heavy metal titans Metallica. For their tenth album, the classically-oriented rockers return to their roots to bring a legendary story full circle. There are also a number of surprises, starting with a unique collaboration.

The third single from the album "One" of Metallica's 1988 milestone "And Justice For All" is a stunning reinterpretation of one of the Big Four's greatest musical moments - a true highlight in their 40-year career. The single features Metallica frontman James Hetfield himself performing the inimitable, now immortal lyrics in a stirring spoken word interpretation. This is more than a unique collaboration, this is history in the making.

Apocalyptica Plays Metallica Vol. 2 was produced by longtime collaborator and studio superstar Joe Barresi (Queens of the Stone Age, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Tool) and will be released on June 7 via new label Throwdown Entertainment.

The 6th Full Length studio album from South African Death Metal Bulldozers VULVODYNIA is upon us! As the first album featuring Lwandile Prusent on vocals (previously on guitar), 'ENTABENI' harks back to the band's earlier brutal roots, with lyrical concepts themed on African folklore, with a huge production from Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Ingested, Despised Icon) and artwork by Shindy Reehal (Viscera, The Zenith Passage, Bound in Fear).

Clutchs "Slow Hole to China", ursprünglich veröffentlicht im Jahr 2003, ist ein Kompilationsalbum, das seltene Tracks und B-Seiten enthält. Das Album präsentiert die charakteristische Fusion der Band aus Rock, Funk und Metal mit einer rohen, undergroundigen Atmosphäre, die ihren eklektischen Stil und ihre lyrische Kreativität betont. Diese groove-lastigen Songs sind remastert und das Albumcover wurde aktualisiert. "Slow Hole to China" zeigt den robusten, energiegeladenen Flair, der typisch für den unverwechselbaren Klang von Clutch ist.

OCTOPLOID ist die Kreation des Amorphis-Bassisten Olli-Pekka "Oppu" Laine. Da er selbst auf eine lange Geschichte als Songwriter zurückblickt, war es sein langfristiges Ziel, tief in einen Pool musikalischer Elemente einzutauchen und sie zu dem zu verschmelzen, was im Debütwerk seiner neuen Band "Beyond The Aeons" gipfelte. Viele unterschiedliche Stilrichtungen zu vermischen mag weit hergeholt erscheinen, aber all diese musikalischen Schwingungen, die auch mehrere illustre Gastmusiker anlockten, verschmelzen am Ende zu einem abgerundeten Klangbild. "Beyond The Aeons? kombiniert Elemente aus Folk, Prog und Death Metal und ist ein Inbegriff des Sounds von OCTOPLOID und der musikalischen Einflüsse von Bandleader Olli-Pekka Laine. Oppu glänzt in dieser Formation nicht nur dadurch, dass er dem Album seine charakteristischen Bass-Grooves verleiht, sondern auch zusätzliche Keyboard-, Gitarrenund Gesangsparts beisteuert, und wird unterstützt von Mikko Pietinen (Schlagzeug), Peter Salonen (Gitarren) und Kim Rantala (Keyboards). Mikko Kotamäki (Swallow The Sun-Sänger) übernimmt den Leadgesang für Live-Aktivitäten.
