The next release on the ever original Hell Yeah Rec comes with a romantic back story, as told by boss man & Balearic Gabba Soundsystem's founder Marco "peeDoo Gallerani... "I was at a boat party in Venice arranged by Spiller & his crew and he invited my friend, hero and living legend Bjorn Torske to play. One of his last records was this track by Velferd... the mad intro and all the rest of the song made a major impact on me and all the rest of the people partying on the boat. Bjorn said that this was the nu epic sound of young Bergen and so I got in touch with the nice fellas at UNTZ UNTZ records from Bergen. They originally released the 12" in 2010 and now I'm re-mastering it and give it the long sided 12" release it deserves." Backing the wax release is a trippy psychedelic beatless variation from balearic-masters at work Crimea X. Velferd's original version is indeed an epic nu-disco track sprinkled with lashings of cosmic dust and alive with the sound or myriad glistening synth twinkles. After a delightfully drawn out intro, the beat final drops and taps out a varied pattern that will have you looking to the stars.

For the luckiest amongst us, life can be a fairytale. At long last, the third and latest installment of
the popular electronic dance music (EDM) mix compilation Once Upon A Night is released on
November 26th, 2012, on Premier Recordings.
Mixed by globally respected DJ, producer and electronic musician, Ferry Corsten, Once Upon A
Night-Volume 3 consists of two discs of the most succulent, painstakingly selected trance,
progressive-house and electro tracks to fly out of loudspeakers this year. Much more agile and
thoughtful than the typical club mix of banging, anthemic tunes, OUAN3 instead paints an
otherworldly story of a long night out where danger and mystery meet sex and bliss.
OUAN3 is an aural tale that conjures deep memories while creating new ones, and the doubledisc
compilation perfectly captures the tense excitement one feels right before embarking on a
night on-the-town. Ferry Corsten is a master at crafting epic audio voyages and in CorstenÉs
world, anything can happen.

For their second launch a-records turns to Sandburgen aka Ralf Noetzel.
With Sandorama he delivers a varied 4-tracker which dances around minimal techno yet could find itself dropped all over.

A1 - Quartz: atmospheric minimal trance, clattering beats, insistent bass and a mesmeric synth harmony for early morning dancefloors.
A2 - Sandorama: the title track breaks in with a stumbling bassline which funks its way across stomping minimal beats and fluttering white noise percussion.
B1 - Sunshine: the non four to the floor track of the EP. Hypnotic staccato synths culminate in an atmospheric sound spectacle, soundtrack to gamma radiation.
B2 - Minced Meat: inspired by 80s synth-pop anthems and trance fundamentals. The track starts off with dry bass and drum sounds before being carried away by swelling synth arpeggios.
