Records for AIA organisation. All benefits and even a bit more have been donate in advance to the Artists In Action Association... Organising kitchen in Calais refugees camp « The Jungle ». Here we got one excellent techno tune from Crystal Distortion, one pumpin from Suburbass and a great funny tribecore track from Matt Weasel Buster Tribe :) We also have here something really sticking to the subject : a tune made with sounds from the Jungle.

Metan Noise is a legendary Czech label. Toolbox gave a hand with the pressing of this release to Mechoz because it's a special one, featuring a fresh concept.

The music style is progressive, staying true to the classic CZ Tek tradition, but with a distinctively trance-like vibe. Ultimately, the record brings something new, blending classic with fresh sounds!

Twirling progressive mental techno, with aTribe pinch... the whole thing packed for Deejays... With a solid politik criticism. Anarchy in the Cz !

Acid Squeaker, industrial and banging. From 150 to 170 BPM.

This EP distinguishes itself especially for its step towards a slightly slower more atmospheric sound than the conventional Network 23 material. Simon aka Crystal Distortion, the artist responsible for the 3 tracks on this release exhibits a new pallet of sonic references which in relation to earlier material give a sense of maturation to the scene's zeitgeist. A1 almost sounds like it was pressed at the wrong speed with a slight laziness to its beat allowing it a remarkable feeling of holographic spatiality. A2 comes in at a more expected Spiral Tribe tempo, but with a more refined modality, employing sounds very reminiscent of Detroit Techno around that time. B side also merges into more digestible aesthetic in comparison to earlier material, deep sea dubby sounds juxtaposed with crunchy snares and hi hat ricochets. Another piece of the freetekno history puzzle brought back to record stores at affordable prices. Remastered at Manmade mastering in Berlin.

SourD kicker then bring a mental progressive dark Tribe tune. A pure kick design again :)
Numéro Bleu then comes with a Techno or Tekno asking the question of a style. A beauty.
Luche & Faya finished the job with a Trance trip : superb twirler.
