First four tracks to come out from an era that’s marked by a paradigm shift in world-building.

American producer Dustin Zahn readies the next release on Rekids Special Projects this April with four vigorous cuts entitled 'Take The Throne'.Dustin Zahn has been flying the techno flag for two decades, releasing on labels like Rekids when not helming the Berlin-based Enemy Records, a label which has released music from artists like fellow US techno stalwart Ambivalent, ARTS boss Emmanuel, and Innervisions' producer Yotam Avni. Zahn is also respected for Train Wrecks, his weekly podcast series inviting members of the house and techno community to discuss a wide variety of music and industry related topics and stories.The release opens with the thumping kicks and sci-fi melodies of 'Take The Throne' before rolling into the dubby tones, infectious claps and rattling white noise of 'Decorum'. The atmospheric 'Nameless Midnight' then follows, packed with echoing synths, tantalising effects and a twisted vocal sample that weaves throughout, arriving at the final track 'Subtle Flex' where escalating synths meet syncopated percussion.

Australian artist Alex Albrecht debuts on A Strangely Isolated Place with Violet Visionary, a perfectly honed evolution of pictureesque downtempo and hazy, percussive Deep House. 

Alex Albrecht has refined his unique triangulation of ambient, house and instrumental influences over the years, either as one half of Albrecht La’Brooy (Apollo) or under his Melquíades alias (Analogue Attic). Combining rich field recordings and hypnotic instrumentation, Alex’s productions are often recognizable thanks to this instantly warm and welcoming combination. Percussive elements and powerful drum patterns sit amongst perfectly executed melodies and dusky atmospheres; Alex’s music is just as suited for the orange hues of dawn as the purple tints of sundown. 

A notably shorter album than we may hope, but sequenced as one complete experience, Alex is purposeful and precise in his approach, with every element completely additive to the last. Violet Visionary echoes a moment of organic evolution that disappears as quickly as it came into existence; peaking to a glowing embrace that will undoubtedly leave an impression.

The Sushitech label turned 15 years old in 2020 and to celebrate this milestone Yossi Amoyal has put together the Fluere compilation across four discs, plus this extended fifth part, titled Fatum. Juan Atkins' remix of 'Someone' by Killer Loop takes up residence on the A-side of this three tracker, all swirling, warm pads and spiralling filters, the percussion almost leaning towards disco with its syncopated handclaps, although the overall effect is as shiny and futuristic as you would expect from this Detroit legend. Flip it over for Terry Brookes' 'Breaking Cycles', a calm spoken word narration providing a meditational mantra to accompany the chugging house foundations, full of gentle tease. 'Limits of Likeness' by MSL completes the package with restless electro machinations and shifting clouds of synth floating across its horizon. Sheer bliss all round.

Etruria is ready to launch its new "Astral series", a new output of exploring the deeper shades of techno, new languages, new horizons.

debuting the series is the young french "Blicz" who brings a fresh take of modern techno with a 3 tracks ep.

"Terraforma" leads the EP with raw, ravy and percussive beats, reflecting Blicz vision of extreme techno,

while "greet earthlings" break beating the flip of the ep with an hip hop influence rhythmic, with an old school rave synth taking back to basics.

"New hope " closing the ep in a softer sentimental way of deep and percussive touches on a heavy low ends.

A new hub solely for the Icelandic talent’s unreleased material, BJARKI will also serve as a platform to launch a wealth of forthcoming audiovisual projects in the coming months, with the label logo designed by Paul Nicholson, NUMBER 3, and all artwork designed by Thomas Harrington Rawle - the creative behind the Care More project. Operating and creating its own storyline with every release, intertwining projects between Harrington Rawle and Bjarki across various mediums, the imprint will also drop a series of offshoot white label releases while being reactive and unveiling random drops across its upcoming schedule. Delivering his first solo release since ‘Oli Gumm’ on трип in 2018, late-February marks the first release on the new label as he unveils his four-track ‘I Wanna Go Home’ EP.

“I want to share more of my unreleased works, especially the tracks that I have created specifically for parties in each city I play. People impact my work a lot, and I would like to share this music directly before or after the show. I don’t see any other way than to set up my own channel or label where I can share all these ideas. Pablo Bolivar & Nacho Sanchez reunite and team up for this excursion into classic inspired rhythmic sound on 'Distances'. Over the past 20 years, these 2 friends have shared their love of the history of Detroit techno, dub techno and more
recently, electro.

Since they last crossed paths in 2014, their love for collecting and playing records has now fully grown into creating their own music. And what more meaningful way to honour that musical friendship than with making music based on that early mutual passion for that Detroit-Berlin techno connection.

'Distances' is just that simply. A 16-track deep foray into all the things the love and respect about the foundations and traditions of techno music. Each essence and theme of the genre is represented with this
tracklist collaboration.

Appian stalwart O.Utlier continues to make mind-bending music and provides us with a mesmerising, cerebral Ambient track.

Tarik Hansen are Artists Ben Kaczor & Martinou who come together for the first time with this dubby, pulsating stomper of a Techno track.
Finally we welcome Kloor which is the new moniker of old hand Aural Imbalance who finishes off the compilation perfectly with something cosmic & shimmering.

Systema Naturae is the first compilation of 012. It is inspired by and takes the name of one of the major works of the Swedish botanist, zoologist and physician Carl Linnaeus, dating back to 1735, which broadly describes the hierarchical classification of the natural world. The series consists of three parts, each containing four tracks, where several artists are invited to recreate, with sounds, a deep reconnection with nature. Original artworks by Ciredz.

For the fourth iteration of the label catalog, Michal Wolski delivers two original tracks in his signature style and leads the label sound towards a more straightforward territory. For the A-Side, Leipzig-based producer, Vanta provided a deep remix. Milena Glowacka took care of the B-Side by creating a hard-hitting remix of Energy Storm.

"Awaken the Legacy" is the first EP to be released in early September 2020 on the Berlin Techno Label INHERIT. The four-track release spotlights two original tracks from the founders of INHERIT Daniel Heinrich & Disguised as well as two remixes by MORBECK & YA.

The original tracks "Awaken the Legacy" & "Power" perfectly demonstrate why Daniel Heinrich & Disguised decided to take their collaboration to the next level and to found INHERIT at the beginning of 2020. The sound of both original tracks is straightforward and shakes your body to a melodic mix of trance tunes combined with hard drum sessions.

MORBECK from Berlin, founder of "Code is Law" & "Low Life Club" brings with his first and unique driving remix a death melody interpretation of "Power" to the EP. The re-mix stands out with a playful and forward-driving rhythm and can be called the most danceable track on the EP.

YA from Paris, founder of Mainmise Records and Pulse perfectly completes the first release with his remix of "Awaken the Legacy'. His typical YA sound, as well as the mix of trance & hard techno elements, energizes you and lifts off the track to a different level. No time to rest, this remix should be part of every driving DJ set.

Patrice Bäumel is back for his third release on Afterlife, ‘Transmission’. The two slick, hyper-detailed rollers have all the markings of Bäumel’s best work: patient progression, dubby chords and moments of slow-release euphoria. Both ‘Sender’ and ‘Receiver’ deal in the refined dancefloor power that made ‘Glutes’ (AL004) and ‘The Hatchet’ (AL013) stand out. They add new flourishes and elements of Bäumel’s sound, making ‘Transmission’ a distinctive and exceptionally well-executed entry in the Afterlife catalogue.

On July 15, 2022, Anetha will release her second seismic compilation on her label Mama told ya entitled MTY-TERRE «Contre tout, toutes et tous, la terre demeure», just one year after MTY-EAU «L’eau repousse les feux agressifs». Through earth element, the compilation comes up with the collaboration of 19 artists - 19 tracks, divided into 4 vinyls: Ane- tha has brought together a generation of young electronic music artists from around the world to get their hands dirty and produce some solid gems.

Edanticonf with their first album since the “Forest Echo” that was released back in 2012 on Silent Season. The Story Of Q is a fantastic album and a great follow up, another timeless journey in fine style. Highly recommended!

Die vierte und finale Staffel im Zuge des 25-jährigen Jubiläums des legendären und stilbildenden Pariser Labels F Communications mit remastered Reissues ikonischer EP's komplettiert die 25. Den krönenden Abschluss bilden St. Germains (Ludovic Navarre) Deep House-Meisterwerk "Blanc EP" (1994, veröffentlicht in Kollaboration mit Didier Delesalle als Nuages), der Techno-Monolith "Silvery Sounds" (1998) des Frankfurter Produzenten Andreas Köhler (aka Sound Of K) mit den fantastischen Technasia-Remixen, die legendäre erste "Flame One" EP (1996) des Baleric-House-Projekts A Reminiscent Drive, Jori Hulkkonens techy Spätwerk " A Letter From Cardassia" (2004), sowie natürlich nochmal Laurent Garnier mit seiner jackin' "Coloured City" EP (1998).

When it comes to deep and jackin' Techno with a touch of funk, Jackmate aka Michel Baumann was in a league of his own. As a producer, working in the house-techno spectrum he was able to keep a level of high quality, always trying to push himself and never afraid to try out new ideas. You never new what he would do next and that was probably why so many of us kept following him, checking out a new release and playing his music.

One of the many projects he was working on before he sadly passed away was collecting and preparing a compilation of Jackmate music from his vast archives. The idea was to present tunes from back in the day, or as Michel called them 'Jackmate classics'.

The compilation would also include some of Michel's favourites which he reworked and of course new music, there was always a new Jackmate track waiting to be finished. This vinyl sampler contains all new Jackmate music plus a Jackmate rework of the Soulphiction classic "Masai Mara"

After a first track on last year's Paerels II compilation, the Brussels based producer Lawrence Le Doux returns to Nous'klaer Audio with a full twelve inch. Five tracks combining Lawrence's signature ambient excursions in the opening and closing act, with three fluorescent rhythmic tracks in the middle. An effervescent record full of brilliant textures and bubbling drums, in anticipation of a brighter year.
