Unique music, modern photography and minimalist design are the three pillars that set this label in motion. Our team don't impose our opinion on you, we just want to share it with you.

Following contributions from Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen and Wajeed, Swiss DJ and producer Mirko Loko steps forward to mix the fourth volume of Planet E's mix series, Detroit Love. Active since the late nineties when he first began DJing in the clubs of Lausanne, Switzerland, Mirko Loko has always felt a deep connection to the music of Detroit. Having been personally invited by Carl Craig to play at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival in 2001, that connection has stayed consistent and electric ever since. Mirko Lokois also known as a Cadenza mainstay and a curator of Verbier's Polaris Festival, but the music of the Motor City has been the guiding force of his creative career.

Groningen raised, The Hague based Nathan Homan pleasantly surprised us with an EP full of future dance floor moments. The A-side contains two uptempo 4x4 tracks whith a subtle but strong 90's touch. On the B-side you'll find two percussive electro rollers.

Constantly searching, not wishing an end, prefer a surprise, not everything planned, so you will always be in the new age of earth.

The body and the body are the same. The position is too low and the position is too low, the angle is too low, but it is not too much, not too much. We are eliminating revolved cuts. Cut the throat. The expansion is wrongful. Searching. Searching a search. The expansion. Searching for data deletion. Chatter. Teaching with accounting for the craftsman's function. You are not allowed into the expansion.

With previous releases including tracks from the likes of Agents of Time, JoeFarr, and raising talent R.O.S.H; plus support from from Djs like Laurent Garnier (who licensed one of the previously released tracks to his Tsugi 'Electro' mix: Francois V ‘Electro’ taken from Cod3QR001), Sasha, Skream, Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Eclair Fifi, La Fleur, Boxia, Jaguar + Nemone on BBC 6, the Cod3QR profile is steadily growing as a label releasing quality music.
With music being the main focus you'll have to wait another 2 months to find out who is behind this latest release. The curiosity continues.

Henrik Schwarz'first work for Running Back and concurrent solo piece since 2013 is a prime example of the man's uncanny production abilities. Recent years saw Schwarz more and more gravitating towards the intersections between electronic music and jazz, classical compositions or african sounds than serving the weekly bread and butter at clubland's busy buffet car. Now, Not Also You is a return to exactly that honourable craft and service. Built around an imagined and imaginary curtain lecture from a saint to a sinner and housed in one of Henrik's 'most techno' looking robes as of yet, it's a no-brainer or shall we dare say a reaper of a track - without frills but with a Fata Morgana like rave signal. Oh, there is a dub for snobs (Not You Also), too. Peak time, high time, any time. Nice sleeve on top.

The long awaited 6th release on Neighbourhood by the talented Reflec, coming with a mixture of breaks, techno, broken beat, lush pads, sweet melodies & everything in between. dBridge has put his unique twist on Spectra, tough snares, gnarly bassline & subtle acid licks. It's hard to pigeon hole this one!

Emotional Response returns with a second volume of its All Trades compilation which is named after its own NTS show. It is just as vast both in terms of style but also the eras it spans with a mix of dub, new wave, slow motion electronics and plenty in between. Tolouse Low Trax kicks off with the filthy dirty and seriously heavy dub glitch of 'Ossia' to provide an early highlight before the likes of Al Wootton get percussive and tribal with 'Altai' and HLM38 channels some African Head Charge on another devastating dub cut. Later on, London's Good Block brings a little more light and sunshine with their lovely 'Strong Relax.'

New school techno pioneer Avision will release his debut album ‘In My Mind’ on Ellum Audio this winter.

Avision grew up around the rich club culture of New York City and is now part of a new wave of artists defining the contemporary techno landscape. In just a couple of years, the American has become an absolute mainstay on labels like Drumcode, Machine, and We Are The Brave. His hard-hitting productions have found their way into the record bags of tastemakers like Adam Beyer, Maceo Plex and Chris Liebing. At the same time, he has been featured everywhere, from The Brooklyn Mirage and Time Warp in New York to festivals like Elrow, The BPM Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and Dockyards. Now he offers up ‘In My Mind’, a widescreen artistic statement across 13 immersive tracks.

Says the artist, “I’m truly proud to share ‘In My Mind’ with the world, as I feel like this is another side of music that people haven’t heard from me. This album touches on a little bit of everything, and I wanted it to represent where I’m from. 90% of the album was written during the time we couldn’t be ourselves and do what we love, but I turned that frustration and disbelief into an album with emotion and meaning. I couldn’t be happier with the final outcome, and I hope everyone enjoys it.”

The LP kicks off with ‘Real Talk’, wasting no time getting going on a lush wave of Detroit-style techno full of hi-tek soul. 'Cut The Rope' features Robert Owens, the legendary house vocalist who lights up the deep, driving house drums with a typically impassioned vocal. The energy levels stay high on 'No Disco' with its oversized hi-hats, nimble bassline and chattery claps, while 'Baby' traps you in metallic techno loops with a playful vocal sample. After the bright lights of lead single 'Contrast,' and grinding peak time weapon 'In My Mind' is ‘Ground Rule’, an atmospheric spoken word interlude about NYC.

The album’s second half kicks off with the far-sighted cosmic pads of 'I'll Take You' with Xander and has you lost in another world. There is angst in the tense synth loops of interplanetary techno cut 'Your Soul' and hands-in-the-air trance energy on 'Where I Want To Be.' The monstrous 'All Night' is another wall of rich synth sound over big drums, and 'Lost Symmetry' then releases the pressure with a more dreamy melodic vibe built on tumbling breakbeats. 'In Your World' closes in an uplifting fashion across eight minutes of cantering techno and epic synth work.

‘In My Mind’ is an accomplished and adventurous album that takes melodic techno in bold new directions.

Halvtrak returns to Cold Blow with techno-romantic rave escapism, riding Chi House-leaning rhythms and intergalactic Techno sculptures. If his previous “Images By Night” dealt with things nocturnal, Digital Dawn opens the curtains to a blue-eyed retrofuturism, bursting with colour and spark.

The A-side shows Halvtrak at his most upbeat vibe to date. X-pressed and Rhythm Overture teleport us on a nostalgia trip to the acid, rave and breakbeat era which is re-imagined by an artist too young at the time but who parsed the ethos from the artefacts of its heyday.

The B-side throws a deeper counterbalance to the release. Born out of studies in the Chicago house tradition, Phase Distorshun quantum leaps into a turning point in time where disco influence was long abandoned and sights set into the unknown deep space.

The closing number, Doubt, does not relent on the 4-to-the-floor but turns the gaze inward, exploring our inner vulnerabilities while musically standing on the shoulders of New York-style house and the early UK-produced Detroit Techno a la B12, Stasis and the like.

We welcome back our good friend Karotte with his first release on Break New Soil in over a decade! „XTC“ is pure Karotte dancefloor fire - weird, powerful and beautiful! On remix duties, we are psyched to have our good friend Jeroen Verhej aka Secret Cinema, who really needs no introduction to techno heads around the planet, and he delivered exactly what we've been hoping for: A relentless big-room Techno rework - boom! The second original track by Karotte is called „Drive“, and it's on the deeper side of things, yet not less intriguing at all. Welcome back home, Peter!

As the moon rose above the grove, the Stinkbug was perched on a mossy stump. A remarkably unique insect, the Stinkbug possessed a remarkable talent for mixing modern dance floor bass with dub music. With its delicate wings, it created melodies that combined pulsating energy and deep basslines. The woodland creatures gathered, swaying to the beat and feeling the vibrations beneath their feet. As human beings, we often feel the need to control every aspect of our lives. We want to plan, strategize, and manipulate our way to success. However, sometimes our attempts to force a certain outcome can actually hinder our progress. In fact, it’s often when we let go of control and allow things to unfold naturally that we see the most clarity and progress.

This is especially true in the creative process, such as making music. When we try to force a certain sound or melody, we can become stuck in our own expectations and limitations. But when we approach the process with openness and a willingness to let the music guide us, we can tap into a greater sense of flow and creativity.

Vienna-based producer and 303 maestro Tin Man returns to Acid Test for his first solo EP for the label in over 5 years. It's another impeccable outing of romantic acid variations, especially tailored for unforgettable dancefloor revelations.

Tin Man has been setting the pace for forward-looking acid lovers for close to two decades now, and on his 15th Acid Test appearance he takes the vibe back to early and proto-house roots, stripping back the musical elements while layering in the euphoria with four perfectly crafted slices of feelgood 303.

Opening track Hidden Acid already sounds like a long lost classic, with strings draped over bouncy acid and motorik drums, stretching out over nearly nine minutes, and beautifully capturing the feel of house music circa 1991. Swaying Acid comes in all propulsive, toms and congas setting the foundation for melodic acid lines to weave through your heart strings.

On the B Side, Running Acid is fully optimized for the autobahn fast lane - a gradual, slow-filtered acid meltdown that builds and releases in tandem with driving hats and vaporous pads that hang over the track like early morning mists. The reissue comes courtesy directly by the author, great artist and true ambassador of good vibes, and we are proud to contribute to the spread of the "Untitled" manifesto.

Bhasmantan - as this body is turned to ash - is the moniker of elusive artist Giuseppe Piol.

In the mid 90s the Italian dance scene was evolving, steering away from the usual Dream House formula, changing and adapting to new sounds and new ideas. Like other fellow electronic music producers, Piol at the time was going through a “psychonautic” period of his life, experimenting simultaneously with new hardware in the studio and psychoactive substances at illegal rave parties. This whirlpool of stimulating experiences gave light to one of the most sophisticated and esoteric Italian techno records, the namesake Bhasmantan #3 (published originally by Spock in 1996).

We are happy to give light again to this extremely sought-after treasure, a transcendent journey from hard stomping acid techno to introspective dreamy downtempo that has no similar.

"Dog Eared"! Named as such as it marks a turning point in my productions and releases. Made while moving from Bristol back to London this as a theme pops up throughout the EP.

"Ithaca Vox" is the name of my first ever favourite preset - a CMI-inspired pad from GarageBand which I've been using since I was 11 but never on a release. The track also samples the screeching of Victoria line on my way back from nights out.

"Bubble Trouble" caused many headaches to finish hence the addition of the word "Trouble". The track pops, floats and bursts into the space between simplistic cartoon sound sources and excessively over the top sound design and production.

"Dive" dives further into these production ideas swapping tight space tiny bubbles for wide grinning resonance. The twisting track cuts these resonances leaving a large valley of missing frequencies that gets suddenly filled by an unrelentingly simple bell centring the listeners balance.

"From Window to Wall" gives a not so subtle nod to one of my favourite excessive chart hits as well as a further nod to the source of some of the track samples (see if you spot them).

"Calpohol" is the first collaboration Ive released (another reason to Dog Ear this release). Made from an afternoon of recording with Delay Grounds on his custom Eurorack the track was shaped by us over the weeks that followed.
