Sebastian Groth is a stalwart of the German techno scene who has been releasing music for over a decade. With the majority of his output focused on his own imprint ReWasted,he has also featured on the likes of Industrial Strength, Kombination Research, and Naked Lunch. Here he delivers 2 Original Tracks + 2 Remixes by some of the most Hyped Artist for harder Techno Tunes at the moment: Valeriø Innørta from Rome is the first remixer and who has appeared on NineTimesNine, D. Colkin (Raw Soul, Mauke Club) kicks off the a-side with a spheric acid house meditation. Next is a track by Peter Seiler which could be found on the extended reissue of his 'Flying Frames' debut LP on Innovative Communication in 1989. It features the soulful voice of Sheryl Hackett. An extraordinary groover that is meandering between song and jazz improvisation. Eoism (Pulse Drift, Undersound, Inch By Inch) complete the a-side with some low-swung electro flavors, driving you straight into sunset.

On the b-side Voertuig (Tonal Oceans, Cobra Club) hit us with a serious and raw acid jam - dark and dirty. On the following track they show us their experimental jazzy side and cool things down again. A track the 1990s downbeat era was missing. Eoism close the first volume of FUTUR with a floating, futuristic banger from their lab.

Benedikt Meger's aspiration for funkscapes was always to feature funk grooves, old and new, fresh and relevant for today. Whether some rare, not so rare or just under the radar recordings from the past or new productions from today's artists across different electronic genres. This idea now culminates into the selection for the compilation FUTUR.

Building off of the themes of identity, storytelling and experimentation on her critically acclaimed debut album, Khonnar (2018), Deena Abdelwahed’s upcoming album Jbal Rrsas is the next chapter of a reimagining of what club music could be. The album spans seven tracks of bass, techno, and experimental music, with Abdelwahed consulting with masterminds like Tunisian composer and multi-instrumentalist Khalil Hentati, aka Khalil Epi, and Iraqi-British multi-instrumentalist, composer, and researcher Khyam Allami, as well as Egyptian mastering engineer Heba Kadry, to help realise her vision.

Jbal Rrsas starts with the seductively apocalyptic opener, The Key to the Exit, a deconstructed sha’bi production. With tracks like Six as Oil and the delightfully intense Violence for Free, Abdelwahed leads users to a desert rave, where industrial rhythms are left unbridled. Abdelwahed’s vocals on Complain and Pre-Island are powerful and exposed, confidently placed on dizzying avant-garde productions. The Wire previously said “Khonnar is an assured debut that sits on the edge of a whole swathe of possibilities, not only sonic but also geographical, social and political.” With Jbal Rrsas finds Abdelwahed deftly navigating through those possibilities, frequently pushing against genres, labels, and social identifiers, while elevating club music to otherworldly heights.

A geniune collection of dubs from DATs courtesy of Downlink, slow cooked in a dusty drawer since 1997. A1 was originally released on Mosaic and stays true to the dub techno sound which defined the label while the other tracks have never seen the light of day until now. If gritty acid workouts are your cup of tea then look no further. The A side features a printed artwork from San Francisco based artist Klari Reis.

On “Philadelphia 2099,” a laidback electronic vista evokes the long violet twilight that precedes sunrise on Mars. On “Tharsis Montes,” bubbling synth lines signal the industry of the day ahead, before an infectiously funky bassline is sown on “Seeds,” and alien growth is tended amid shards of interstellar synth sunlight in “Echoes From The Red Valley.”

Jäger 90, from Germany, stands as one of the last genuine bastions of body music, akin to DAF or Liaisons Dangereuses. Their album “Rückspulen” provides an hypnotic sonic experience characterized by simple yet powerful instrumentals, where acoustic drums intertwine with deep square wave monophonic basslines to create an immersive and intense atmosphere.

Presented in ONE-OFF truly limited edition of 300 copies lacquered pressed on 180 gr. high quality solid WHITE vinyl and an EXTRA SERIE of 100 copies in solid BLACK vinyl. All tracks have been specially mastered for vinyl by Daniel Hallhuber at Young and Cold Studios (Germany).

Dark Grooves Records starts with the aim to rediscover cult tracks from Deep-House to Uk Garage and old-school Techno. This third release comes from the Philly producer Dozia Blakey, who put out this ep on 1996 under the alias Music From The Trees. The whole EP is a quality Deep House / US Garage record, also including a remix by King Britt (Dynamics Birthday Mix). On Side B we also find "Back to Basiks" which which showed up as the first track on Prosumer Boiler Room mix from 2012.

Drumcode heavyweights Pig&Dan and Victor Ruiz link for their maiden collaborative EP.

The project begun in the first quarter of the year when the artists were still touring and was later completed during a series of productive sessions after lockdown Pig&Dan members Dan Duncan and Igor Tchkotoua experiencing a creative synergy with close friend Victor Ruiz that injected some lightness into an otherwise challenging time for the trio of producers.

‘Consciousness’ is driven by a catch low-end riff that’s powerful and funky in equal measures and is a particular favourite of Adam Beyer’s, highlighting the boss’ Drumcode Indoors II and Tomorrowland’s United Through Music stream. ‘Music Takes You’ is a delicious low-end roller driven by a punchy synth workout that drops down into a captivating vocal break made for big moments. ‘Paradise Lost’ is a widescreen melodic gem, comprised of a laser-kissed synth hook, crisp percussion, and a clever low-end chord progression, giving it a classy timeless appeal.

The cool fish Syberian98 never ceases to amaze and comes back with his best groovie stuff. He's going further in 'techno reminiscence' and meet some soulful house roots from Detroit and Chicago. Highly recommended for your home party or club in that it sounds classy, deep and heartbreaking.

Thomas Schumacher keeps defining and refining the gold standard of high energy Techno. His latest piece of work once more showcases his unique ability to create powerful, contemporary Techno that packs a punch while paying tribute to his rave roots. A must play.

Eight years after Cuthead's "Give'n'Take", it's Sneaker's turn to put together four of his favorite tracks for Uncanny Valley's compilation series. The artwork is once again by Planetluke com aka Luca Lozano. "This record is a vista of my world where music inhabits the air between people. As an exchange of genius, emotions, gestures - even conventions, rituals, and love. Dedicated to L.B. BaD, whose music I inhaled and whose records inspired me on my quest for deepness. You will be missed!" (Sneaker) Besides L.B. BaD's wonderful "Late In The Evening (Music's Seeping Thru)" you'll get three absolute bangers on top. The Optimistic Misanthropes are Mystic Bill, VeXaTioN and Sneaker himself. One of the most influential Chicago House DJs, true to the underground for over three decades now, and once part of the Trax Records roster... Mystic Bill. VeXaTioN already got to know him back in the days but is currently hailing from Mexico City. His track was born in Los Angeles and remixed by Sneaker in Berlin. Also, Left Unknown's "Maedchen" got the jacking Midas touch from Sneaker, a touch you've come to recognize. Behind the one-off project is Saxonian Gnista aka DJ Detox and somebody who wants to remain incognito. Jacob Korn however is well-known since the early days of Uncanny Valley and is above all Sneaker's best buddy at TailOut Studio, Dresden.

First forging his DJ craft at underground parties and afters in Southern Brazil, Cauê's deep passion and devotion now resides in all his artistic output. He has built a solid discography spanning the likes of reputable imprints such as Affin, KVLTÖ, Circular Limited and most recently with his own project Ogan Records. In recent years, his active membership of London's budding deep techno scene has helped Cauê to garner his reputation as a highly consistent and prolific producer.

We're delighted to honour Cauê's love of the physical medium with a limited run of vinyl, pressed on 140g black vinyl in Italy and presented in a beautiful matte sleeve. Those who have followed Cauê's work will have observed the thematic constants of mysticism and theology that are woven throughout. Revelations is a brooding work of atmospheric techno. Reprobation opens the A Side with a deep sense of foreboding - a warning perhaps - before three cuts of raw and tunnelling techno that are both delicately introspective and wickedly hypnotic. Rapture is the audial equivalent of sunbeams breaking through the very blackest of storms, a beautifully melancholic piece that can only exist where darkness came before. World To Come closes the B Side with the eschatological sentiment of the wonders that await in the new age.

Dustin Zahn makes his album debut in March 2014 with the release of Monoliths on Adam Beyer's Drumcode label. Gestating over a period of a four years during break from releasing original solo material, Monoliths sees the Minneapolis native capturing the full breadth of his production style in the long-player format for the first time. Having become a mainstay of the Drumcode line-ups for their Berghain residency and beyond, the challenge was set for the Berlin-based Zahn to build upon the reputation he has established in the past decade-and-a-half since he first arrived on the scene, during which time he has also given a platform to artists such as DVS1, Minilogue, Psyk and Truncate via his Enemy Records imprint.

"Adam Beyer has supported me since day one and almost all of my output has found its' way into his sets since the beginning. Aside from being a champion of my music, he has also become a good friend and has been a big help to me when times were tough. Drumcode was a major influence on me when I first started getting into techno. Getting the opportunity to do an album for an inspirational label with a massive following made choosing them an easy decision."

The bracing retro-futurist synths of 1984 tease what's to follow: epic, ambitious, raw real techno - as imperious as the album title implies and impeccably designed for the tallest speaker stacks. When the record is at its most dancefloor-focused each cut is an amalgamation of classic techno elements that encapsulate the genre at its most uncompromising, though Zahn's skill as a producer shines through in his ability to demonstrate the range contained within this aesthetic. Whilst embodying the genre's purity of purpose, Monoliths is still able to find and explore different sonic palettes.

"The overall tone is noticeably a bit more industrial and colder since it was written over a brutal winter in Berlin. It also marks my return to a heavy emphasis on hardware for a more raw sound. A lot of producers try to show their range on albums by writing music that isn't necessarily their strong point. In result, you get a lot of albums with mediocre 'listening' tracks and a couple of token 'club bangers' that should have just been destined for an EP anyway. I decided that I was going to focus on my strengths and write a full-on techno album that sums up my career so far."

As one half of the Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia Robbert Heynan helped define the burgeoning sound of Tribal Techno in the early 90s, the duo produced a slyly conceptual and wonderfully cohesive body of work which included, amongst others, 3 classic albums, many groundbreaking singles and a Radio 1 Peel Session. In 1992 Heynan left to pursue a solo project under the name Exquisite Corpse and continued to release an inimitable string of House and Techno tracks, his production techniques and meshing of styles resulted in a unique signature that refuses to be categorised still to this day. For WRECKS042, Klasse Wrecks is proud to present a repress of one of Robbert's most hidden records, long out of stock around the world and well under the radar is the 'Chief' EP. Originally released in 1996 on Dutch label Prime the two tracks from the original EP have been remastered and are presented alongside two brand new and unheard versions, which have been laying dormant since waiting for the right time to peer out into the daylight. The resulting record is a wonderful capsule and insight to the body of work and creativity of Robbert, at times dark and hypnotic, introspective and heady but with the crosshairs always firmly set on the dance floor.

A legend return to Sheffield's Ozone Recordings with some Rage style proto - hardcore vinyl. Frankie Bones reprises his legendary “Bonesbreaks” series for 2022. The sounds that influenced Fabio & Grooverider over 30 years ago sound as fresh as ever.

“That's How We Living” reworks elements of a classic old skool tune with other hardcore tropes into a fierce electro groove.

The latest Amniote Editions incubations spawn from the depths down South with the HgB capsule - two pulsating releases a Vinyl & Digital V/A Compilation that hone in on an expansive palette of deep and driving sounds.

For the vinyl EP, Hasvat Informant unleashes his Amniotic alias Intellagama in full force with Proof of Assets. The Naarm (Melbourne) based artist explores a tender, transcendental realm of sounds that swiftly morph into shadowy club cuts set to transport you into deeper dimensions.

Hidden continues its thorough exploration into the deep and hypnotic realm of techno with an avant-garde and dance-floor ready release by mainstay JC Laurent, titled "Through Differences". Included is an instantly recognizable remix by spatial sound virtuoso, Mike Parker.

Side A begins with Through Differences and its rich, organic textures levitating around clever drum work, building tension then releasing with timely percussion. 'Sounds From The Northern Hemisphere' is a collection of live-recorded takes, registered between 2021 and 2023. The Icelandic extraterrestrial scenery was the main inspiration for this work. Similarly to the nature of each landscape, every composition was crafted with a genuine and spontaneous approach, entirely avoiding digital instruments.

A methodical sound research was enacted, exploring the analog behaviours of classic and modern machines. The result is a minimalistic and intense merge of sounds: simple, but meaningful.

Science Cult presents the Kinetic Series: A limited edition of Picture Discs with kinetic artwork crafted by Chris Dowding. First up are Odd Oswald and Stephan Barnem with their “Horror Haus” EP, an homage to 1980’s Horror movies accompanied by a funky electro remix from Jensen Interceptor. Unique moving artwork is present on both sides, including markers for track start and end points.

Drenched in a thick haze of layered synthpads, "The Prophet" builds up from muted, dissonant percussion and little drum-fills. A few vocal-snippets recorded on the street give way to a slowed down jungle-jam, that winds down before things intensify for the rollout. One for the twilight hours.


B1 - Meatpie
Clearly the thug of this bunch, "Meatpie" is a mean technostomper, driven by distorted drums and a thick underbelly of call-and-response basslines. Midway through, rather unsubtle tribal drums switch things up and introduce a dramatic pad, before the carnage resumes. Supported by Violet (Naïve), Peach, Imre Kiss, JASSS and ASOK (Lobster Theremin) amongst others.

B2 - Contadini
You fool around with some classic old samples, finish the tune for a laugh, it works great but in the meantime a dozen other tracks come out with the same break. What to do Sleep on it for way too long and finally stick it on the runout of your B-Side, that's what you do. Go have fun with this!

German label Bondage Music delivers the tenth instalment of its ‘Bondage Games’ series. Another vinyl only release, this time with four fresh tracks from Dachshund, Sascha Dive, Pornbugs, Markus Homm and Alex Ranerro.
