The late KAGAMI was the producer who sparked the "TOKYO DISCO" phenomenon and reigned over the Japanese techno scene in the early two thousands.
From his first album "Broken Sequencer", released by Frogman Records in 1998 and which made a huge impact on a bunch of Techno Heads in Japan, the robust techno banger "Hyper Wheels" is refocused by Abend Kollektiv, and revives as "Hyper Wheels Redux". 
This long awaited 2024 version has been remastered and also remixed by DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, known as one of the first generation of the Japanese techno scene, and even includes a remix by KAGAMIs buddy TOKTOK from Berlin.

Sound Metaphors 23 returns, a label shining a light on the creative output of Spiral Tribe and the wider sonic and spiritual universe of the Freetekno and Free Party scene. In the sub-labels latest offering, a light is being shone on Robbert Latumahina, otherwise known as Sensory Overload and Hybrid Systems. This release sees him under the guise of Robbert Mononom, representing his membership of the legendary Dutch free party crew Mononom Soundsystem, responsible for the very first teknivals in The Netherlands and collaborators with other pioneering collectives such as Hardcore Peace Generation and Spiral Tribe themselves. What’s now being bought to light is some of the most brutal & intense original Freetekno ever committed to the recorded medium, culminating in the 20 minute long, psychedelic trip of Ice Age on the B-side.

Organic Analogue returns with a rediscovery of Beppu's rare dubbed-out electronica and circuit-bent techno. Andrew Hargreaves is the Manchester-based producer behind this alias which was first making waves back in the late-2000s. Back then it was three limited CDr EPs in 2009, which came with just 50 copies each, that made a stir and still stand up today. As such, the sought-after recordings receive a proper vinyl pressing and have been mastered by Miles Whittaker. Two distinct remixes from Demdike Stare also add further quality and contemporary context to the origins, which blend dub techno and braindance with textured noise. IPOP continues Organic Analogue's tradition of spotlighting overlooked talent having already done so with names like DJ Guy and Jean-Louis Huhta.

This is the time of the house-techno classic from the early 90's "The House Of God".

Dimensional Holofonic Sound blazed a trail with the release of the EP, House of God back in 1990. The title track became a techno anthem and global hit, and has been featured in DJ sets by Aphex Twin, Ken Ishi and Joey Beltram.

Mannequin Records is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Chromium Industries, a double LP (MNQ 162) capturing the innovative spirit of two pioneers of electronic music: Andrew Lagowski and Paul (Howie D) Howard. This long-anticipated album marks a return to the seminal sounds of the Chromium Industries label, which emerged as a crucial platform for boundary-pushing techno and electronic music in the early 1990s.


Andrew Lagowski, a name synonymous with exploration in electronic music, has been at the forefront of sound innovation since the early 1980s. Known for his work under various aliases, including Lagowski, Legion, and S.E.T.I., his early output in experimental and industrial sounds paved the way for his later techno-focused ventures. Albums like Knowledge (S.E.T.I.) and Nadir (Lagowski) highlighted his pioneering approach to unconventional sound sources and production techniques. In the 1990s, his work with Chromium Industries brought him into the techno spotlight, with a series of influential 12” singles that helped shape the electronic music landscape. With over 60 albums and 10+ singles to his name, Lagowski’s versatility and dedication have garnered him a loyal following and lasting influence across genres.


Paul Howard, aka Howie D, brought his DIY ethos from the punk scene of the 1970s into electronic music. As a founding member of The Frames and co-founder of the Brain Boosters and Spacematic labels, Howard has consistently pushed boundaries. His early forays into hip-hop saw him release the genre-pioneering jazz-rap track Miller Light as Fission. The transition from punk and hip-hop to electronic music was a natural one, culminating in his creation of Chromium Industries after a fateful night hearing Lagowski’s Vermilion at a London party. The label brought some of the most unique techno releases to the scene, with tracks like Blue Anomaly causing near-riots on the dancefloor. Since then, Howard’s work has evolved to include multiple aliases, including The Legend That Is, Phase Collective, and Skulpture.


Chromium Industries 2xLP will be available for purchase from January 2025 through Mannequin Records and select distributors.


This is an essential release for collectors, DJs, and anyone who reveres the legacy of 1990s techno and early rave.

Washed up Ovatow material from 2007... Beware!!..

The next release on Nastia's imprint NECHTO introduces Stanislav Tolkachev's latest offering, 'NECH024.' A pioneer of the Ukrainian techno scene, Tolkachev's journey into techno began in the early 2000s in Dnipro, Ukraine. Renowned for his atonal modular sound, he continues to showcase his mastery of synths in this upcoming release with dozens of timeless tunes under his belt.

Having a longstanding connection with Nastia and the NECHTO label, Tolkachev's collaboration with the label has been in the making for years. Nastia's unwavering support during difficult times has fostered a genuine friendship between them, paving the way for a much anticipated release.
The tracks, recorded approximately five years ago in his studio in Kyiv, are live recordings made using analog modular synthesizers and FM groovebox, adding a touch of hooliganism and romance to the mix.

Having patiently awaited the perfect moment, Tolkachev now unveils the five tracks, characterised by his signature minimalistic, synth-led and atmospheric sound.

As part of maintaining The Black Dog's back catalogue, Dust Science has now re-issued the 2010 album, "Further Vexations". It's a real successor to Radio Scarecrow, moving forward with the dark tone and concepts.

Further Vexations picks up from what was started in Radio Scarecrow, moving beyond the world of open secrets and the bemusing transmissions of number stations, to exploring the dark cynicism of Orwellian practices carried out by our Govern-
ments, institutions and corporations.

Martin Dust from tBd explained, “Our main concern was and still is the amount of personal freedoms being surrendered under the banner of "for your own safety" – CCTV, Biometrics and the World Wide Databases being the latest inventions to save us from ourselves. What is it going to take for people to wake up? How much further can the people that we’ve put into power go before something finally snaps? We've had enough now! We believe that people have become lazy and accepting of "beige" political parties who have realised if they stand for nothing, people will fall for anything.”

10 years on, the references to George Orwell's 1984 appear to be a little naive and wholly inadequate. From billion-dollar corporate entities openly mishandling our data for profit to highly-targeted and manipulative political propaganda campaigns, the misuse of our data and communications is far more sophisticated and devious than originally envisaged.

For the 46th episode of KEY Vinyl, Romes very own Conrad Van Orton returns for a third round with Kenosha Kickers, a three-tracker that masterfully blends a fun and warm energy with the technical skill of a techno veteran. In fact, KEYs legacy started exactly with Mr. Van Orton, back in the good old 2011. Because yes, time flies but quality is timeless. So lets dive into it.

Each cut on this release reveals the producers knack for infusing both cheekiness and finesse into his sound, making this a must-have for the colder months ahead. The A-side On Point, is actually really on point. As the days get shorter, this one will keep your spirits high. Fast-paced and playful, the combination of a thick, bouncy bassline and jazzy, spirited chords creates a lighthearted groove that will bring smiles to dance floors everywhere. On the flip, I Request Another Dream delivers a vibrant, more eclectic sonic landscape. A peak-time gem that unmistakably carries Van Ortons signature style, this track balances intensity with diversity, making it the perfect addition for anyone looking to elevate their collection with something fresh, yet familiar. Closing out the EP is Open Sea, a rhythmical exploration of dreamy broken beats and lush, smooth pads. Celebrating ten years, Daniel Avery’s iconic debut album is repressed onto white double vinyl. Originally released in 2013, Drone Logic has since entered the pantheon of classic British electronic albums, a cohesive twelve-track trip through shades of dance floor psychedelia, rich in emotion and texture.

Iro Aka are back on Hivern Discs with two new EP's showcasing some of the most edgy and fast paced music they've released so far. Aural and Aural II are a deep dive into the Catalan's duo universe, a proper follow up of their album Planet Earth released back in 2023. This time focusing on mental sequences, ethereal pads and acid melodies.

Nørbak is back on HAYES with Passo Lento, five sparse, Orwellian exercises with concrete percussion and a soul-stirring, atonal approach to melody.

Schwefelgelb return with a brand new EP titled "Trigger". 2 original tracks pounding energy-loaded drums over catchy basslines at 138 bpm. Cleverly designed details in arrangement and sound design make this production appear like a fresh approach on the raw side of Techno. The next step in Schwefelgelb's musical evolution is a highly effective sound which combines hard stomping Techno with a tonal playfulness. Hence it seems only logical to complete this release with 2 remixes which extend the versatility further. A remix by UFO95 adds a dubby flavor whilst still being 4-on-the-floor Techno, whereas a remix by French artist Flore completely pulls it to UK Bass territory. "Trigger" will be released 29th of November on n-PLEX, 140 g colored vinyl including download code.

After recent records by Kobosil, (Summe), Etapp Kyle and Nitam, Unterton continues its path of presenting young faces with a new EP by Somewhen. With his Null EP the Berlin-born and -grown producer expands his musical repertoire, connecting to the tonal range of his live and DJ sets in and out of Berghain.

The four tracks on the Null EP all share a certain sabulosity: crackling, distorted and unpolished sounds are the EP's ongoing motifs - sometimes in form of distinguishable effects for melodic or rhythmic elements, sometimes more subliminally arranged in the background. Yet, inbetween there's much room for stylistic diversity.

A1 opens with the Techno cut "Inward". While the kick drum pounds throughout, the track's multi-layered and detailed melodic and percussive elements add the real thrill with rich layers of bleeps and beeps, flicks and clicks. "Grit" on A2 resets the tempo and hints towards Industrial and EBM territory. While the title refers to the aforementioned textural distortions, the cut impresses through its use of hypnotically slow-picked bass guitar strings, shimmering synth melodies from far spaces and its ruptured rhythm progression.

"Null Drift" on the flipside picks up the pace and kick again and keeps relentlessly going throughout its 6 minutes, adding swelling then decaying synth pads, while drones and acute percussion cater for relief. "Diskret" on B2 closes this EP with a targeted and straight rhythm, lashing claps, meandering melodies and protruding drum machine slaps that make the track a thrusting companion to the flipside's "Grit".

Somniac One returns to Perc Trax after her breakout Perc Trax hit 'Junkyard Shift' was featured on the Perc Trax Forever 3 VA release at the end of 2022.

Originally hailing from Lithuania, but currently residing in the Netherlands Somniac One perfectly bridges the gap between modern high intensity techno and the production intricacies of the European hardcore scene. Across the three tracks that make up 'I Hope This EP Finds You Well' Somniac One demonstrates her razor sharp production skills and firm grasp of dance floor dynamics, with each track growing more and more powerful as the EP progresses.

Opener 'Instigator' breaks down to a unforgettable buzz saw breakdown before the beats come hurtling back, 'Infiltrator' adds a touch of drama to the EP with soft pad chords gliding across the middle of the track and closer ' Buzz Pollinator' takes the BPM's higher with its driving arpeggios pushing the track forward rounding off the EP breathlessly.

L'Esperanza (Hope) is undoubtedly one of Sven Väth's greatest hits. After more than 30 years, we are very proud to revive this timeless masterpiece for you on Cocoon Recordings. The artwork of the A-side is from the original 12" cover, which was released on Eye Q Records back then. Anyone who knows Sven recognizes that he has always felt free and evolved in terms of appearance and style. That's why we instantly loved the idea of Sven re-staging himself in the same pose but in a new guise. This picture disc documents a 30-year-long transformation, both sonically and visually. It is a beautiful journey through time and a true collector’s item.

A1: L'Esperanza (Original Album Version) 1993 Produced in 1993, this track has certainly not lost any of its charm over the years. Lovely string sounds envelop you in a cloud of comfort, while the filtered downbeat emphasizes this feeling of lightness. The catchy tune of the playful synthesizer melody invites you to close your eyes and start dreaming. Let yourself fall into a deep state of meditation and trance. The airy electric bassline comes with a charismatic power and opens a door to the subconscious, calling on you to dive deep. The atmosphere of this composition sits somewhere between drifting through the sea and hovering through space.

B1: L'Esperanza (Hardspace Mix) 2023 A revised version of the "Hope Will Move Mountains Mix" by "Visions Of Shiva" occurs on the B-Side in the form of Len Faki’s hardspace mix. Len is renowned for his elegant edits and refined modifications as part of his side project, this time delivering a stripped-down 135 BPM version that fits perfectly into the current zeitgeist. A club version of "L'Esperanza" that radiates a high level of euphoric energy, constantly pushing the rhythm patterns forward. All hands go up in the air at the latest when the piano part starts in the middle section. Let’s go back to the good old days of the original 90s trance sound since the cheerful arpeggio synth melody takes us along.

What is certain, you can't tell that either version has been around for 30 years.

The impact Belfast born duo Bicep have had on Irish music is unmeasurable, capturing the hearts and minds of the next-gen with their future-facing sonics. The pairing started their FMB label in 2012, going on to support a plethora of Irish artists in the process, from Cromby and Hammer to Brassica and Brame & Hamo.

The label's latest record comes from yet another Irish artist. Swoose, a name that should be familiar to any Irish electronic lover, began his career handing out flyers for legendary club Stiff Kitten. From here Swoose went on to become a resident of Shine and AVA Festival, and has released a string of killer records on Shall Not Fade and Lost Palms. Now residing in London, his record on FMB brings the OG Belfast dance music community back together for a fittingly euphoric release.

Title track ‘Breathe’ produces poignant undertones and contemplative thought, meditative breaks channeling the producer's fascination with wild flora and fauna. The track's interior begins to distort our sense of time and self, liquid textures forming over celestial harmonies like psilocybin. ‘Hyphae’ takes a 4/4 approach, while keeping the EP’s emotional personality present. Its pulsating bassline is balanced by far-reaching syths and dancing hi-hats, resting in a unified space of motion and colour.

Rotterdam via Belfast based artist Kessler has been on the tip of everyone's tongue since the return of clubbing. He has released music on Sherelle’s BEAUTIFUL black and LGBTQ+ label and his debut Shall Not Fade release was one of the most celebrated EPs of 2021. Kesslers knackt to create beautiful, other-wordly soundscapes that are both functional and edge on the side of melancholy are unmatched. His flip of title track ‘Breathe’ swaps gentler tones for his signature UK-sound inspired drums and crowd-evaporating atmospherics. The arrangements gentle ebb and flow, maintaining that signature blend of pace and etherealness.

Toronto’s Peach is on hand for the second remix – ‘Hyphae – a stripped-back early-morning groover that mixes psychedelia with flexible percussion. The track gives off a subtly uplifting vibe that blends heads-down club with minimal, punchy aesthetic. Just when you thought it was time to go home too...

No Signal records is proud to introduce for the 10th release of the label one of the most important producer of all time: Jamie Bissmire. His productions have been central part of the scene through the 90s and the last decades. The UK legend spread the proper techno and electronic vibe with his solo moniker and in collaborations projects like Bandulu and Space DJz satisfying any kind of enthusiastic. The EP starts with the ambient skit "Subteranium", subtle synths and textures combined with a smooth-alternate basslines keep the listener moody and tense for an unexpected start. In Temporal Mst open up the dances. Slightly distorted 4/4 beat track, jam-packed in No Signal style, plucked arps well arranged for an elegant swing. Lore & Order is the match up to lead the dancefoors and listeners into more gloomy and wicked mood. Different sequenced synths wrap the drum groove for an hypnotic, yet enchanting and dreamy moving session. The Tapestry of Fate is definitely a massive Jamie Bissmire's signature track. The Blessed Madonna began with three magic words, scrawled in shoe polish on a broken - down box and hung on the wall at a small sweaty party: We Still Believe. “I think you have to give up completely to really understand what hope is. It was like 2011? I had spectacularly, monumentally failed. I left the label. I wasn’t DJing. I wasn’t putting out records. I was divorced and living on my Dad’s couch so naturally my friends and I decided to throw an illegal rave. We didn’t have any decorations, so I took a box and wrote, ‘We Still Believe’ on it. I needed to believe that something better was possible and that’s how it all started.” After years of $50 gigs, strung together by gas money and surfed couches, The Blessed Madonna cemented her reputation as a sublime technician behind the decks with a legacy of fluent and dynamic sets, spanning from disco to techno to house and back. One room sweatboxes, circus tents, theatres, massive festival stages and entire city blocks have all served as the canvas for her shows. After a jam packed 2023, from Glastonbury to Sonar to Boiler Room Bali, The Blessed Madonna has been filling the dance floor everywhere she goes and is now releasing her debut album.
