YouaND:THEMACHINES is the solo project of Martin who is a part of youANDme. "BEHIND" is his longplayer debut on ORNAMENTS and is a mirror of all his influences from dub techno, ambient, downbeat, Detroit techno and house music. Never before has Martin incorporated his music so much in analog hardware, field recordings and hidden messages. He has invited orchestral musicians to collaborate on the project and one of his main ideas was to use no samples and generate every sound with a range of classic analog instruments using modern techniques of the year 2013 without loosing the old spirit. Guests vocal collaborations from around the world include Robert Owens, Brothers' Vibe, Delhia de France, Keter Darker and Bajka.Each of them adding their unique character to the album indulging the listener into new mystical directions.

Every producer's dream is to one day complete and release a full length album. After a string of well received 12 singles on my own label, Emphasis Recordings, and most recently, on labels like Aesthetic Audio, Machining Dreams, Syncrophone, and Dolly, I thought now is the time to start realizing that dream of the full length album. The idea for the album really started around year 1999 and/or 2000, when I completed the tracks, 'Interstice,' 'It's Perceived As Sound,' and 'Brink Of Dawn.' When the tracks were done, I felt they were better suited for an album release because I experimented outside of the typical 4/4 dance track. I wanted to experiment with ambient music; like something without a kick drum, or different time signatures, which led me to creating a jazz tune using electronic instruments. 'It's Perceived As Sound' was conceived in that way. But putting an album out during that time would not have garnished the impact that I wanted, since I was still a relatively unknown artist. So I put the tracks aside. Over the last decade, I worked on many more 12 singles to get my name out there, while still working on tracks that I thought would suit the album. Tracks like 'Eternal' and 'Heat Burst,' produced back in 2011, help add to this album some of that Chicago/ Detroit vibe that I've been known for. As I was getting close to finishing the album, I was thinking which label should release it The first thing that came to my mind was Smallville. Johannes Albert, the man behind 'Frank Music' and active dj producer, always moves the crowed with his raw deep beats. After a long time of back and forth with JackOff boss Elie Eidelman, the moment finally came together to create the Suburban Dreams EP. Johannes produced two timeless trax and new secret duo BERG joined with a new interoperation mix.

Once again, then, this album proves no one does deep electronic music as well as Conforce.

We have some very good news for the fans of 'Oasis', 'Escapements', 'Distant Shores' etc; Petar Dundov is about to release a new album on Music Man. 'Ideas From The Pond' is set for release end of March, but we have something to feed your hunger in the meantime: a new EP called 'Stairway/The Arch'. 'Stairway' and 'The Arch' are again two tracks that in one way breathe Petar's signature sound, but on the other hand don't sound like anything you've heard before. Go Petar!

Cambridge resident Samuel Emerson Iliffe, aka ill Life, is driven by a penchant for warping things. Akin to warping his sonorous surname into the - ill Life' moniker, he warps formely innocuous techno fare into a clangorous, concussive march of living, breathing percussion. Samuel's sonics seemingly owe a considerable amount to recent innovations from the likes of Blawan or Perc Trax alumni, however his only fault is taking part in the phenomenon of - synchronous innovation'. Before Karenn coalesced, before Clouds' newest offerings started being rinsed, ill Life had long since moulded his sound. It is Infinite Machine's infinite regret to have discovered him so belatedly. But there's no use crying over spilled trax.
- Ever Decreasing Circles" blasts off right away, employing burrowing sounds, and disgruntled mechanical noise that is ostensibly trying to shrug off the tyranny of the relentless 4/4 pulse, but never quite manages. There is conflict at the core of this track, and by the time the subtle tension of metallic dub stabs sets in, and immersive quality of the pitched-down, k-hole vox ruminations takes hold, the listener is smack dab in the middle of it. Staying true to its name, the track constricts further and further, until the ceaseless burrowing nearly instills a body high.
Operating in an alternate universe where Moby was a speedball enthusiast, - Go' is an overwhelming rave tirade, insinuating itself with muttered vocal clips and intently punctuated by the reccuring lead sample, while percussion creates a dizzying effect by virtue of its doppler-effect like dynamics.
- Come Out' is an arithmetic mean between warehouse and dub techno, driven forth by visceral vibrations in both the perc and lowend. An instrospective number , it provides a welcome mid-EP opportunity to catch one's breath.
Borealis builds on the foundation of - Ever Decreasing Circles' with a copious serving of acid before finally climaxing into his trademark shadow trance euphoria.
Kommune1 masterfully bridges the gap between the two essential stompers, seemingly sounding like a megamix of the two.
Musical polymath Liar yet again steps in to supply the shameless banger, crafting a cohseive whole from aquatic, Drexciyan electro, an almost comical take on acid, mindless cathartic drumming and very nearly illegal sound design. - I know you're different, cause I'm really normal', it insists, with no small amount of irony. A nod to all all things warehouse, this - resex' bridges the gap between 90's nostalgia and the forward-thinking histrionics of the original mix.

Herla is the collaborative effort of two Austrian producers who've tipped their focus of sound towards warm analogue warmth, rugged drums and earthy soundscapes achieved through an amalgamation of analogue hardware. The vibe is heavily influenced by the early 2000 Techno sound as well as sprinkles of 80's synthesis from bands like Joy Division with the classic Moog sound playing an integral part in their productions.
The release kicks off with 'An Eating House', a driving analogue excursion through Acid Techno, earth- shattering drums and eerie low-pitched vocal tones. The duo ride these fundamental elements out for a strong six and half minutes, tweaking the acid line and constantly altering the layers of the rhythm to create an efflorescent dynamic and a galvanizing peak-time groove.

Following is 'From Within' which delves into even darker territories as menacing moog tones bubble away and expansive reverbs cleverly build depth as the composition progresses. Whirring synth sweeps are thrown into the mix intermittently adding further texture while the failsafe gritty drum samples drive the cadenced aspect.

Last up to close the EP is 'Fiddle About', and as the name would suggest the vibe embodies a gradually unfolding feel with subtle nuances in the percussive elements keeping things in an ever- enticing state, while undulating saw-wave bass adds an exuberant vivacity to close this single with a bang.

After an arduous preparation process, TEAL009 is finally ready to be shared with the world. It consists of four tracks, evenly distributed on the surface of a gorgeous phonograph record, that can also be acquired as four digital abstractions in the format of your desire.
Sonic contributions come from two TEAL newcomers A Sagittariun and Matti Turunen, as well as the return of Jared Wilson to the label with a fresh cut of his own.
The opening drum break swirls into synth-line and syncopation europhoria on Gravitational Push. The droning bassline cuts a groove in the space-time continuum that's so deep, it could put some discussions in Geneva to shame.
The playful arpeggios of Spice Flow mask the underlying moody pads, resulting in an unusually honest piece of dance music.
Flipping the disc reveals a two-track contribution by Matti Turunen, best known from his work as Morphology with CRC. Menacing kicks and synth chirrups begin Substellar Object as a dark chest-rattling piece. However, its sonic frequency emission spectrum eventually widens into a lush composition. When we arrive at the Apoapsis of our sonic orbit, we are met with a stuttering of rhythms and bleeps. An emotional line melody confidently marks the end of our journey.

Contium is a Berlin based techno duo formed by Bruno Giordana and Jonas Schenkyr.
The record opens with "The P-Wave", a heavy bottom-end, dance floor-oriented track, with echoed sounds and reduced grooves creating real club vibes. Feel the great spatial depth given by the air between the beats.
The track on the B Side is called "Aeromagnetic Dub", and this one goes even deeper. The percussion and chords deliver an incredible rhythm that gradually hypnotizes the listener. It features local field recordings and filtered, brushed, acoustic drum-loops.

Enduring and influential Detroit techno act Octave One are to release their fifth full length album, Burn It Down, in Spring 2015. The 11 track opus is a collection of the unreleased music that has been lighting up their much talked about live shows for the last few years. This new album comes at a time when the pair are still evolving and searching out new forms. As live performers they are reaching an ever larger audience around the world and plenty of the energy they exude there is bottled up in this new LP. Made using a fine collection of hardware including bits by Roland, Moog, Dave Smith Instruments and much more besides, it follows 2008's Summer on Jupiter and proves that 'as individuals and as musicians we have grown with time and through our travels. Our music reflects that. Our work this time around has taken a lot longer to produce, but we feel it represents, more than anything else we have done to this point, our complete idea as an album project.' 94359;"This time Hinode launch their satellite to Neptune, the eighth and farthest planet in the Solar System, in order to explore its dense atmosphere and raw uninhabited texture. Guided by the Roland rhythmical sound, the deep acid tracks wander around dark extraterrestrial dimensions and take their listeners to the bottomless depths of techno jams.

Back at it again, taking the true essence of the "jacking" sound of Chicago house and putting it's own stamp on it is what Obsolete Music Technology has done with their new 12" entitled, "Volatile." Warbling, wobbling, distorting, sinisterly acidic basslines abound is the best way to describe this release! For dance floors only! You have been warned!

"Volatile" starts off with some 707 drums intro and then fading in, is this tripped out, bubbling bass sound that sends you off a cliff! Just when you think that's all to the track; dark, melancholic pads comes in for added atmos-FEAR! Rounding out the A-side is "Killin," with it's 2 acid style basslines, one sounding at a high octave and the other at a lower octave. Riffs playing separately sounding great, but when played together, there is something slightly, mentally off.

On the B-side, "Broken Siren" is high energy! 808 tom drums bringing the funky low end while a short, electronic piano lick drenched in warm, fuzzy, flange effect. Setting it off is a decayed sine wave, mimicking an actual alarm sound. Lastly, "Electric Current" best describe this distorted acid bassline and its tweaking filter and resonance controls over jacking 808 drums.

A lot of time flowed since the last DimbiDeep Vinyl, so we are very happy to anncounce that we are back in 2015 with the new DimbiDeep Vinyl Series, including a new layout. For the already 7th Vinyl we come up with the swiss dub techno warriors Fabian Schinzel & Rjega presenting an epic deep journey with their Exo EP featuring a great remix by Alessandro Crimi. For a brief moment Hermans are cut free from their shackles and venture out from the black dungeon, dragging xylophones made from Kraken bones and drums fashioned out of reptile skins the duo summon a battle chant from deep within. Scores of allies join, endlessly banging the same rhythm relentlessly until the clouds draw and the red sun is no longer visible. A Basic Soul Unit appears from the murkiness and descends upon the racket, bringing with him booming thunder and electric lightning, a dark army marching alongside him. The massive beat continues for days, shaking all those that hear it. Slowy and steadily, the din subsides, the clouds part and the sun returns as Hermans retreat back to the darkness to wait patiently until they are called upon again. Few new techno artists of the past years gained as much momentum as Recondite. His atmospheric, driving, bleak tracks are techno to the core. But they are much more. They are not Techno about Techno, music reprocessing other music, but music about emotion and experiences. In dealing with themes like longing, nostalgia, romanticism and the general uncertainty of being human, the productions of the thoughtful Bavarian introduce a new range of issues and emotions. His music is widely available through many releases on renowned labels such as Ghostly, Hotflush or Dystopian, but it never reveals its mystery. It is charming, yet serious, it is beautiful but dark. It is the soundtrack for a perfect night out, and it reveals a profound insight into the abyss of the human experience.

With Iffy, his third album, Recondite tries to introduce a wider audience to his basic interest: the feelings and emotions that are hidden in the dark. Recondite does not present the arrangements and structures on a silver platter, but leaves room for interpretation. He is not interested in getting blurry or arbitrary tough. Managing to put his moods in a nutshell he does not need words or voices to allow people to relate to his unique personal experience.

The dogs indecisive expression on Iffy's front cover is the major key emotion, leading through the whole record. It is driven by conflicting moods and despite all commitment the outcome always remains open. But there is existential gravity in its core, which makes Iffy more accessible than Recondite's previous works and therefor delivers his idea in yet another - different robe. Innervisions being the platform for this piece of music promises to be the perfect fit as the ever emerging and highly respected Berlin record label's musical ideas and harmonic desires are nicely in tune with the bavarian producers output and personality.

Falling Up in its original Theo Parrish version and the Carl Craig version on the same disc. Nothing more to say. Except that the Carl Craig version finally gets its proper title (also newly remastered versions of both classics, by Stefan Betke). It was never a remix as all the parts are original, created by Carl Craig. As Scott Grooves said when he first heard Norm Talley playing it; "That aint a remix, that's a full-blown Carl Craig track".
