RAW is back with the long awaited Gemstones II compilation. This second edition features 16 original tracks, divided into 4 vinyls and exploring 4 different sides of Techno: Diamond, Amethyst, Moonstone and Opal.

This is the 23rd release on RIOT Radio Records, an independent techno label based in Scotland.

Since 1989 The Horrorist has released over 80 12" singles and four full length albums. His massive discography adorns every elite techno label including Tresor, Industrial Strength & Neue Heimat. He’s worked with the biggest names in techno including Miro Pajic, John Selway, Chris Liebing & Radical G, releasing so many of techno’s best & most well recognized tracks.

His albums including ‘Attack Decay’ & ‘Joyless Pleasure’ are renowned pieces of art as is his original version of ‘RIOT’, which appeared on our V/A triple vinyl album ‘STAY TUNED Sampler – Vol I’ back in 2017, that’s gone on to become a bona fide club classic in its own right.

After the monumental success of the original ‘When I Raise My Hand’ release we thought it about time to unleash a brand new set of molotov fuelled remixes which we harvested from a competition we ran allowing the original track stems to be downloaded and entrants fire their mangled efforts into RIOT HQ. So, so many amazing remixes arrived in our inbox, and of all manner of styles, but these were the final winning entries.

There’s six new incendiary remixes on this highly inflammatory vinyl release, each one with its own unique brand of combustible rhetoric. There’s something for all tastes including full on techno, EBM, wonky and even laser disco interpretations to involuntary stomp along with. Hailing from the darkest depths of the UK’s industrial heartland, No Remorse is unrelenting in his devotion to harnessing the ultimate 'machine noise’ with his hard-hitting, no-nonsense approach to production that leaves lesser beings in his wake by dropping huge slabs of monstrous techno from a great height into unsuspecting minds.

Continuing with our ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of 12”s, this antagonistic outpouring of industrial noise will induce spasms of involuntary motion within your body and mind leaving you quaking in your boots wanting more akin to that of a user of the most lethal substances. A new label offering from the ever active vaults of Mr. Sascha Müller is the new imprint named Psychocandies which is setting things straight for an Acid-poisoned future with cat.no. 001 which is a marbled, limited to 200 copies 7" pressing holding Sascha Müllers "Tempelrotation (Edit)" and Acidfloors "Goja 3" on the flip. Whilst the first mentioned tune is on a grinding, distorted MonoAcid tip clearly influenced by long gone labels like Labworks or Propulsion 285 we see Acidfloor working on a mind bending fusion of dry ElectroPhonk and a tweeking 303 that is about to make all breakers twist their legs and the rest of the crew jump around like mad. If you love alltime classics like "Higher State Of Consciousness" you'll surely appreciate this little tune as well. Watch out for more candy!

Deer in the Headlights is the first release on Somniac One's new label Somniverse. As a firmly established name in industrial hardcore and fast-rising star in techno she is perfectly positioned to color between the lines of both genres and bend them in new ways. Expect effective hardcore bangers, techno bangers, cross-over bangers. Bangers, pretty much, and the occasional tame B-side, maybe. This first release serves up a nice dose of nostalgia. Arp Track #1 is classic slowly unfolding muscular low-key euphoric loop techno while MNDKNTRL on the flipside harkens back to some of the best moments in dark millennium hardcore.

Starting with an Acid bath from Bass Température this collab between Vinyl Bleu and Bass Addict is perfect.
SourD kicker then bring a mental progressive dark Tribe tune. A pure kick design again :)
Numéro Bleu then comes with a Techno or Tekno asking the question of a style. A beauty.

It goes pumping downwards into the depths of nighttime worlds when „Tauchstation“ sets off on its journey.
