Bacchus Harsh is the alias of Melbourne based multi-disciplinary artist Christian Bishop. Predominantly known in international music circles as Australian breakcore pioneer Xian, Bishop has expanded his already widescreen musical horizons to embrace an even broader creative cosmos under this new alias. Bacchus Harsh is the sonic embodiment of occult-themed electronics and deconstructed club music. De-territorializing exotica, occult psychedelia and industrial techno with polyrhythms and distorted blast beats, Bacchus Harsh confuses the dance floor.

Caveat Tumultum is an expansive double LP of icy post-breakcore industrial heaviness, where hallucinogenic cinematic atmospheres collide with sample-driven mania and complex mechanical rhythms. This is a wicked 4 track EP with all the tracks being made back in the early days of rave, but the tracks never received a full label release. You will most definitely know two of the tracks because they got caned by all the big name DJ’s back in the day, Narrow Boy and Brothers In Arms. If you're lucky and old enough to remember 1992, you will be back there in a heartbeat with these authentic, original hardcore rave tracks.

Way out in the Southwest of the Netherlands there was this dude I want to tell you about. A dude by the name of K-something. At least that was the handle her lovin' parents gave her, but she never had much use for it herself. This K-something, she called herself Somniac One. Now, Somniac One, that's a name no one would self-apply where I come from. But then there was a lot about Somniac One that didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. And a lot about where she came from, likewise. But then again, maybe that's why I found her so darned interestin'...

Now this record you're about to listen to was written somewhere in 2019... Around about the time the UK had its no-deal Brexit, the Amazon was on fire, and the BPM standard in hardcore reached the peak of ridiculousness. I only mention this 'cause sometimes there's a dude. I won't say a hero, 'cause what's a hero? But sometimes there's a dude, and I'm talkin' about Somniac One here. Sometimes there's a dude who, well, she's the dude for her time 'n place, she fits right in there.

Billy Daniel Bunter & Rob Vanden have been back in the studio making new music for the project, as well as featuring lots of the sort after dub plates that were never released in the 90’s. Part 3 is a quadruple history of DJ Vibes album featuring 16 of Vibes most sort after cuts from 93 / 94 & 95. The album is aptly titled “Music’s So Wonderful”. The 4th and final piece in the series is a joint project between Billy Daniel Bunter, DJ Vibes, Dwarde and Arkyn.

Aim 2 Pleez was a label made primarily for N-Zo & DJ Invincible to have an outlet for jungle in the early days of the genre but they definitely leaned more towards the more musical side of the sound. The label didn’t last that long but the end result is that the few releases on the label are now very sought after, fetching absurd prices on second hand websites, and this EP is in particular demand.

They are two tracks of immense proportions, that not only appeal to the junglists but to breakbeat hardcore lovers alike. A proper crossover EP that has stood the test of time, sounding just as fresh today as it did back in 1994!

Part 3 of the popular Waxworkz EPs is here. These showcase the various styles associated with the label. Label resident NewKiller kicks things off with an alternate mix of the bonus track that was found on vinyl version of TUNNEL013. It’s still a ripper, even with the naughty samples removed. Dark, rushing & brutal. Next up is the first of 2 label debutants. After already having tracks released on his own label, Sync Dynamix brings a track that ticks all the boxes for pure authentic 1994 sounding beats. NonRev starts off the AA side with something that is easily the most chilled track on TT so far. Music by NonRev has already featured in a mix by Dave Trax. This track is a beauty. Finishing off the EP is label regular Opius. “All The Reasons Why” brings you all of the usual Opius amen madness mixed with elements of 93 darkness, female vocal choppage and heavy bass.
