Early support from Raresh, Akufen, and Jan Krueger, next up on Sol Asylum is non other
than Julie Marghilano with her Innerspace EP. Taking the listener to another dimension of
sound, she brings her range of musical knowledge to create a solid package with a stunning
remix from Fred P.
Starting things off on a analog journey with Innerspace' we move through an
interstellar universe with detailed grooves full of percussive splatters and echoing synths
that moves us into a dream like state of mind.
Conjuring the jazz planet in Berlin with Katzbachjazz'you are immediately transported
to a galaxy of sound with galloping percussion and a classic techno layout. Using more 909
techno drum elements she creates a whirlwind of sound with a delicate touch.
Taking things a little bit deeper with Cosmic Karma' she presents a heavily detailed
drum structure full of violin experimentation that creates a dark atmosphere but still
bringing an uplifting and joyous vibe.
Finishing off the package is something unique from Fred P who Julie asked to remix for
her due to her enormous respect for him. The emotionally charged remix of Cosmic
Karma' shows a different side of Fred P while still keeping his signature sound in tact.
The remix takes us through an ever-evolving voyage through time and space.

The Abstrat Matters Duo is back after releasing the hottest title on the Cynosure label in 2014! With regular play from legends like Derrick May to Danny Tenaglia. That being said the follow up is sure to land in the similar crates and rock dancefloors from Ibiza to Detroit. This Ep delivers a combination of raw and rock solid techno grooves that boarder on the familiar or dare I say old school but maintain the futurist sensibility that make a proper techno twevle inch.

Deo & Z-Man, the blood-brothers from Hamburg, pulled off one of the most creative feats of last year with their debut album, 'No Bullshit', with zero BS but plenty of
inspiration, the pair melted together a range of
influences with a healthy dose of tongue-in-cheek humour
for their underground opus. The remix LP to follow this EP solidifies their commitment to the eclectic,
drafting in friends and family like Lee Burton, Erobique and Tigerskin to rework the magic.
This 12" package of highlights from that the upcoming remix LP pulls together a selection of the ingenious remixes. 'Chopped Memories' transforms from a laid-back groove with elements of hip hop and the cosmic, to unhinged neo-electro in the hands of the mad scientist
ARTTU. Shading in the gaps with static, sirens, and serrated electro edges, ARTTU makes for a deeply memorable
and deeply quirky stomper.
Marc Schneider's masterful remix of 'Iced Out Space Lazerlights' riffs on the noodly, outer-space groove of the original, providing a solid 4/4 framework with space, deepness and real dancefloor compatibility.

SLG handles the delicate downtempo of 'Universal Neighbours' like a pro, using a light touch and playful keys phrasing to slowly transform the mood from pensive
to hopeful to positively uplifting, it's a deep house anthem in the making.
Smallville boss Julius Steinhoff finishes on a high by delivering a signature piece of tightly-wound deepness with his take on 'Tales Of Love'; scaling back the sunny retro-disco of the duo's original for a taste of the classy and classicist house that Smallville is known and loved for.

Young talented producer Stev e Lorenz from Italy combines his Techno tracks with fusion basses and deep kicks that features cool grooves of industrial sounds in constant evolution. Techno, Detroit, Minimal, Dub are delivered with a depth and resonance of sound that is absolutely unique

After first performing together at Sonar Festival with what was essentially a live version of our respective 'B.O.A.T.S.' and 'Adamant' albums, Thomas and I decided to expand on these ideas for something more broad and improvisation-centric. After months in the studio drinking nothing but amaretto and working on new music for this purpose, our new live experiment (now simply called CW/A) was ready. The reception on these shows was so (thankfully) positive that Vakant eventually pressured us into releasing some sections as tracks. 'Conducting the Method' is nothing other than a sample of what this new project is about: a collection of three excerpts taken from this year's performances. To round things off, we invited over our friends Dead Heat for a reinterpretation of one of our tracks. We can state with confidence that we are excited these tracks are no longer confined to our club and festival performances and can't wait for everyone to hear them. A) side is the unreleased Dub version of the previously released same titled track. B) side is the fine interweave of radiq's percussion + fumiya's base/beat groove with soul vocals. The sound is different from the style of Dirtriix works and the each has its distinctive own groove.

As we head into fall Ovum Recordings keep the hits coming. Having bathed in the deepness of Nico Lahs we were then moved to get sweaty and get down with Technasia's 'Bastille Days.' Today we come with yet more freshness with the diverse new ep from the legendary Mr Tom Middleton. Tom is a true electronic luminary. From his partnership with Mark Pritchard as Reload, Global Communication, Jedi Knights and Secret Ingredients to his own solo work, Tom has always pushed the boundries of dance music whether it be ambient, techno, electro, funk, and house. A true master of his game, we are honored to welcome him as the newest member of the Ovum family. This new release initially came together off the back of the A side track 'Penrose Steps". Tom gave the track to Josh and it instantly became one of the biggest tracks in his sets, never leaving his bag. In true Ovum style, we were keen to bag a B Side with a completely different feel. We went back and forth for quite some time and as Tom set about working on a production we all lost a very dear friend and colleague, Kenny Hawkes. The aptly named 'Hawkes Groove' is an amazing ode to a truly talented producer and DJ and we are so happy to be bringing it to you.

Following the playful tones of Feathered Sun and Carlos Nilmmns, Circus Company continues its run of distinctive singles with a four-track release from new production entity Flabbergast. While the name might not be familiar, the imagination-soaked minds behind the music are synonymous with the history of Circus Company. Guillaume Coutu-Dumont is of course one of our most treasured sons, a Montreal-man turned Berlinboy with no less than two albums and seven EPs scattered amongst our back catalogue, let alone his achievements elsewhere. He first came to light on the Mutek and Musique Risquee labels, both of which have had the guiding hand of Vincent Lemieux at the controls, and now the two long-time friends have joined forces in the studio to conjure up some heavy grooving voodoo that feeds directly from their respective experiences in the freakier ends of the house and techno spectrum. On all four tracks, there is a concurrent theme that binds together this new sound world of Flabbergast. The production hits raw and direct, with dead-eye rhythms providing a functional structure around which surreal sonic decoration can frolic. 'Frozen Beans' has a twitchy lead and all manner of displaced vocal snippets drifting around the sparse mix, but there is still space for the warmth of a Rhodes to sneak in before things get too unnerving. 'Gros Sabots' meanwhile has fun with some roughly hewn drum breaks, before 'Wash Karma' gets into a spooked-out, exotic incantation of minimal techno with an emphasis on cheeky funk of the highest order. With its delicate elements, flairs of percussion and deadly bassline, this is the kind of track to sneak up on the unsuspecting and shake their hips with inappropriate intent before they know what's hit them.

Incolor is a collage of distinctive sounds, purposed to disturb the listener's reality, smearing paradoxical stances throughout the entire record. TRCKV01 approach differs from normality. The beginning of each side taints mystery and a relaxed state while the following smears vigor to the record. On the A-side, Greorogythme casts minimalistic glitches onto the cosmic Watch The Stars Falling, while Scopter & iON bring an excess of drums and dub, enfolding in a persisting voice that forms Muntele De La Mare. On the B-side, Key Clef builds an ever-growing tension on disrupted tempos, over persisting wobbles, all which finalize in Keep The Deep. Finally, Dual Shaman lash out on the closing track, with a hard to digest overload of kicks, drums all wrapped in a hard to digest CroMagnon. The record is as complex in sound as colors on a canvas painting, going in depth, exploring unheard mixtures and combinations. Heard entirely, it paints a perfect colored picture.

His output also includes a variety of singles for labels such as New York's Beats In Space Recordings and Stockholm's Studio Barnhus.
On this new album, Karmil can be heard exploring the concepts of impossible objects, reflection, symmetry, infinity - perspective, truncated and stellated polyhedra - hyperbolic geometry, tessellations and lost love. While making the music that constitutes '++++' he interacted with mathematicians George Pólya, Roger Penrose and Harold Coxeter as well as the crystallographer Friedrich Haag, and also conducted his own research into tessellation.
The result is '++++', Karmil's most clever, strange, emotional and fun work yet, a testament to his breadth and depth as a musician. Did we forget to mention that he's an awesome party dj

Niro's (a.k.a. Niro Perrone) unconventional approach to production is reflected in this stunning 3 tracker for Idriss D and Fabrizio Maurizi's unique Memento. Taking inspiration from every noise surrounding him, the immensely talented Italian artist and Unclear Records owner firmly believes that music is communication: his heroes and major influences come from the more left field and avant-garde electronic and underground tradition, while his personal loves include anything from African Esotericism to Jamaican Dub, Jazz, Bossa Nova and Soul, in a cultural eclectic melting pot that is vital to our world's vision. His decade long wandering through most European clubs lead him to open and manage one of his country's most famous venues: Klang was in fact a cornerstone for clubbers and Techno and House aficionados, and it has welcomed a wide number of international DJs and Performers (whom he shared the decks with) along the years up until its closing. Niro's style is ever changing and reflecting his many fascinations, resulting in a manifold and very diverse body of works, as shown on this release. 'Via Newton, 1' is a homage to Klang: the title evokes the club's address, and it's a personal message to a place mostly dear to his heart. The Lo-Fi attitude, dark sexy mood and eerie delicate singings find themselves in a sea of sound manipulations, static and crackles; its late night tale atmosphere is intimate and emotional. 'Involution''s classy vibe and hypnotic groove play along elegant vocal samples, dreamy pads and ethereal chimes sprinkles, while 'Rucola Express' (written and performed with his brother Elia) showcases a sustained bass line moving along to a slow pace, with trippy industrial samples and ghostly echoes. Boosta, founder of the legendary alternative electro rock band Subsonica, revered producer, tv personality, radio host and writer, is on remix duties: his Elementary rework of 'Via Newton, 1' is gentle and suggestive, with strings harmonies and soft beats pummeling along spiritual vocal samples.

Alex Dolby is already known for not being afraid of taking new steps with his label Affekt Recordings and his Affekt Club. His next EP Calypso on the limited vinyl edition of Affekt Recordings, shows Alex classic history and love to techno in all his variety, art and beauty. This time Alex chose REBOOT for taking the part of remixing his track. What we get is a typical Reboot track with over 12 minutes of great percussions and atmosphere. ...Calypso EP is a strong 3 tracker, which definitely has a chance to become a classic record, one day...

Three years after his successful release 'Brume de Pomme', the Parisian producer and DJ Tom Joyce is finally back with a 4 track EP with Sounds Benefit, his brand-new vinyl label. 'Diversions EP' is a perfect blend and association of his great store of influences, where the French artist delivers four diversified and atmospheric cuts, navigating between Chicago house, mellow deep house and lo-fi electro beats. A record that should definitely delight the dancers and the dreamers.

First release of "TOOLOOP" (BodyParts's sub label). Concentrating on long play groovers, with the caricature story of traditional Russian winter jacket - "tooloop" provided on each release center.

Today we once again celebrate the coming together of two of Techno's most legendary and respected figures for the next installment of their much lauded Elements Series - Oliver Huntemann & Dubfire. As the series name alludes, 'Aire' is a track that harnesses elements from the previous brace of tracks and brings them together whilst adding a fresh touch of flair. Ireland's Matador takes on the remix task, delivering two contrasting new versions. His beautifully deep Dub Mix is an understated, smooth and wondrous excursion while his Main Mix throws down its earth-moving kick drum throughout as he allows the original atmospherics and fx to playfully pierce the production.

Archipel Extra Supplies is the brand new sub-label of Montreal based label, Archipel Musique Canada. The idea of the new project is to focus on providing music enthusiasts with bonus music for their sets as well as listening purposes. The very first release is by Montreal based artist, Stefny Winter who emerges here with a wonderfully crafted tuned project. Slightly stripped down but at the same time, providing a low end, fizzle bass, Winter pushes hypnotic rhythms with a not so subtle smirk. A wink to Audion, or a Perlonesque aesthetic, this Ep ensues a groovy moment as well as heartily groove. As she sets the direction for future releases, Winter proposes a very promising EP that will for sure dig its way to any picky DJ's bag.

Retraieste Romaneste is a LP in which music speaks for it self, like the translation of the title Relive The Romanian Way' this original minimal and deep sound of young artist Dragutesku brings us one step closer to the roots. The track names are picked after the names of great romanian writers and poets from last century topped by the original artwork, this album makes us relive those moments of pure, inspiring originality once again.

Valioso013 comes this time from our beloved italian friend, Mattia Lapucci, his mixing skills are likewise his productions, just absolutely incredible. Minimal in his perfection with classy drums, trippy percussions and synths are involving through the whole room when you hear the Bonaffucci EP, but not only the originals are made of high quality sounds, regarding to the remixers section with Vera, famous for her appearance at Perlon, comes out with a very special remix as well as Piticu, the outstanding talent from Bukarest shows up with a drivy, romanian high class eat.

Adsum is bringing us a 2nd e.p. for Minibar032... This time on the way back from his planet he collided with Cabanne who just happened to be there, freeflying for no reasons, ordinarily they should have exploded in the upper atmosphere, and most of the solids changed into thin air, but a particularity occurred called Cabsum. It ended up in 2 version of Miradolores, this long awaited Adsum track revisited by Cabanne on the B side. So give an ear to this one, and the rest of your body will join the ride for sure.
