Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years. On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.


Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, 'It is stuff to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, 'of course, it also contains tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'


The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.


With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt spell of house music.


The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

This year experienced the birth of Frazer Campbell's deeper imprint Elliot project recordings . The London based label launched back in spring with a real statement piece, composed of detailed minimal, late night seductive twinkles and a drone styled techno piece. The labels projected thought process for the future is to navigate through a varied soundscape of deeper excursions and thoughtful techno. This second EP with two originals from Frazer, also includes a remix from highly Respected UK musician Tom Ellis who increases the heat on the track 'light' with a energetic but thoughtful techno re work.

Soniculture continues its series of underground releases with tracks from famous artists that are on a secret mission. Physical format will be on vinyl with black sleeves and no information whatsoever about the artists. We are just disclosing the number of tracks and the running time of each one. Globetrotting DJ and producer Luca Venezia, better known as Curses, indulges in his nocturnal and romantic side, revealing a penchant for dark basslines. 'Jetzt Oder Nie' opens proceedings with a straightforward bass and infectious arpeggio line. Sebastian Voigt's reinterpretation keeps the focus in the deep techno territory, introducing a steady paced and anxious facet. Stepping into an industrial influenced soundscape, 'Power Of Darkness' revolves around the hypnotic vocal hook, gradually
transcending the listener into a late-night dancefloor trance. 'Infinity Maker' plays on the mesmerising repetition of the initial coarse drum pads, resulting in a straight-up techno tool. The synth lead stays in the deep end, progressing to a beautifully dubby and atmospheric finale.

Though Ronde Music is a label gathering producers from various horizons, might it be ambient,noise, experimental or lectroacoustic, they all have a common creed : the loop. Jo created this locked groove label just one year ago, spreading extensively the sensitive patterns of artists such as Vadim Svoboda, Sharp, Antigone, Edith Progue, Dscrd and Cédric Pigot & Jow. A single 1 loop bar is to be repeated until harmonies free themselves, patterns are then stretching to the point where they merge into a psychoacoustic phenomenon. "Wouldn't it be

A key member of the Minus family for almost a decade, Jon Gaiser is to release his lead single 'Krakdup' preceding his full length release 'False Light' in November. Since 2005, Gaiser has been at the heart of the minimal techno movement. His hugely atmospheric EPs and LPs have always explored the darker, more stripped back and abstract edges of the dancefloor and have often done so in conjunction with immersive and complimentary live visuals. Says Gaiser of his working methods: 'I've always been a big fan of analog gear, both old and new. I'm also a big fan of new digital technologies that create sounds that have never been heard before. I prefer to have the best of both analog and digital worlds working together, to make the most creatively flexible production environment as possible.' As well as working as VOID, Gaiser is also a revered live performer who creates immersive on-the-fly soundscapes using Ableton MIDI controllers and Maschine, and regularly performs at some of the world's best festivals and club nights, including Hawtin's own ENTER. nights at Space Ibiza. A trained percussionist and sometime punk rock drummer, around the age of 15 Gaiser discovered the underground techno scene in Detroit and 'was completely intrigued by the energy of the music' and so began collecting drum machines, synthesizers and FX units to build a studio in his teens. Before long he impressed techno innovator Richie Hawtin, was signed to Minus and soon began releasing on the seminal label. Playing in Europe so often meant the natural thing for him to do was to move to Berlin, and it is from there that his sound has flourished. An extensive tour is planned to support the album, featuring a brand new visual show, created by accomplished Turkish artist and director Ahmet Said Kaplan. The 'Tape Jam EP' is Patrick Vano's fourth release on Berlin-based label Mo's Ferry. The A side 'Rhythm Disease' crackles and rumbles in this typical sound Mo's Ferry is known for. 'Drone Shadows' on the flip is much quiter and Vano plays the Techno bow in wide and flowing moves - best suitable for the later party hours. With the bonus track 'Controlled Curves' Patrick Vano returns to the dance floor - even more focused and driven with its sawing lead bass. Always looking to evolve, 2012 saw new faces and sounds from the American in the form of the housier Amber and the techno-tangent of LA-4A, both backed by the launch of his new vinyl imprint Valence. A busy, inspiring and impressively productive period. The Phase Doubt EP is his most recent creation and again sees Ambivalent avoid tiring techno templates to inspire with the latin rhythms and uplifting melodies of the title track. Dancing synth riffs, pulsing chords and scattered, rapid, snares all come together to create an exotic and heady opening number. On the flip, Selfed Out is built around its epic lead synth that both creates and dominates the outrageous groove and drive of the track. Stunning.

After a three-year production hiatus, Barcelona's techno kingpin Paco Osuna returns with not only a new release for Richie Hawtin's Minus label, but also his debut LP, entitled Long Play-eight precision tracks, purpose-built for the dance floor in his inimitable style.Long Play is a meeting point of Paco Osuna's past and his future. The product of nearly 20 years behind the decks from early residencies at Amnesia in the late '90s, to an integral role in Hawtin's current ENTER. events at Space and a push forward for techno, house, minimal, and tech-house, Long Play's sleek and exuberant tracks are thread together by Osuna's always-addictive basslines. 'The bassline is my obsession,' he says-the key ingredient to making picture-perfect techno and playing incredible, unflaggingly energetic DJ sets. After taking a lengthy break from production to focus on his busy performance schedule, Osuna worked on Long Play in fits and starts. But the album really came to life after the recent birth of his son. 'I had this really crazy idea to record him crying or making noises, and put it in a track. Thank god I didn't do that,' he says with a laugh. 'I knew I needed to do something serious.' What resulted was this suite of dance-floor tracks that succinctly represent what Osuna's fans have come to expect from his legendary DJ sets. 'Soft, hard, funky... I'm very open-minded, and I like to play everything,' he explains. Gentle congas and a swerving bassline make 'Let's Dream' the 'perfect track for an afterhours,' Osuna contends. It's followed by a divebombing bass synth that punctuates the hearty tech-house thump of 'Only You.' 'Nop Games' brings to mind Osuna's slick minimalist moments, and 'Gate Scape' fills the gaps in between with a quickened pace with upbeat drums.
