Two tracks from a brand new (second in a row) EP by Warsaw-based duo Tumult Hands fully illustrate paradoxical approach of Jacek Sienkiewicz and Jurek PrzeŸdziecki to the creation of a common integrated form. Spontaneous compositional decisions and minute sound interventions are contrasted here with a persistent precision of rhythms generated by both musicians in a reality of an inter-studio' space, in moments of an encounter - sometimes, fully controlled collision - of two worlds. Full of inner rigour and logic (record is a prime example of modern functionalist music), although teeming with fantasy and flourish, Tumult Hands' current explorations also announce duo's full-length LP, soon to be released through Recognition Records.

Utopus is Ion D's project that deals with tehno heresies, not-minimal and fragmented melancholy. Ion D is the ubiquitous main-character of Future Nuggets standing as a producer behind many entities like Steaua de Mare, Raze de Soare, Australopitecus Oltensis, co-producing Delusion Men and appearing under different cameos in both volumes "Sound of the Unheard from Romania". On P-Balans imprint Utopus will endevour with club-oriented laboratory work, keeping intact the "delics" of each genre compressed in the amalgan. Set yourselves up for some balanced grooves augmented by unfinished melodies, abstract dramaturgy and very serious tehnodelic motors.

Kling Klong founder Martin Eyerer has always been a big fan of collaborations and since their common releases on Get Physical and Leena worked that well it's definitely time to team up with Ackermann on his own label, too. And a big shout out goes to Kaiserdisco who return with a great remix to Kling Klong after several years of absence since their massive success with Jaana.

Following his first EP on Field Records in 2015, Staffan Linzatti presents the 25th instalment of the label with a perfectly balanced minimalist techno triple pack.

VRAC aka Andrei Ciubuc & Vlad Radu are back on Subtil. The release features two tracks, titled Repattern and Default 44.

Both tracks characterized by a mesh of hypnotic drums, clicks as well as dark synth-lines, skillfully arranged into an ambivalent atmosphere.

It´s good to have the two romanians back on Subtil.

Dissonant returns with some thrilling, fresh grooves from New York City by the talented producer Bobby Gasparakis for the upcoming release. The legacy of NY house on Gaspara sound is balanced out by a measured and energetic approach reaching the most effective dancefloor cuts. The title track on this Nafpi EP' is a perfect example with plenty of subtle touches into the mix that edge the funk into this exciting Spartan soundscape, from playful conga hits to the insistent clap always increasing the pull of the rhythm section. Providing the perfect contrast, A Pillow for Julia' is an adventurous and exotic excursion with organic instrumentation alongside distant sweeps of pads, subtle shimmers of dub chords sounding sometimes like swirling vocals. This combination unfolds like a gripping story, carefully arranged across nine minutes of transcendental music to create a spiritual experience that shows Gaspara's diversity. Whether you want a straight-ahead club workout or a sensual trip into more unusual realms of house music, Gaspara has proved to be an outstanding talent on his first release for Dissonant.

'The Continuum Hypothesis' by Cleymoore and Andrea Cichecki stood proud as Rotate's first collaborational EP, and despite being the imprint's first attempt on showcasing its roster
through talent fusion, it served perfectly as a refined and spontaneous creation where both artists could easily be heard and identified.

Rotate's curatorial decisions seem to consistently circle around a small but extremely talent-ed group of young artists who aren't afraid of musical experimentation, with command of
very personal visions of futuristic dance music, no matter the style. For the second collabora-tional EP, Rotate hand-picked two young artists that share a strong vision about music, how
it should be created and ultimately, experienced: Greece's Anestie Gomez, and Russia's Denis Kaznacheev.

Denis has succeeded in keeping us engaged with his imprint Nervmusic since 2009, showing us a steady catalog of releases that share a refined and minimalistic approach to dance
music, while Anestie is slowly but fiercely leaving his mark in the music world with a handful of releases and a quiet yet exquisite A&R work for several successful imprints.

Using each other's sounds to create new compositions, 'The Wieferich Pair' is about them both, and speaks for them both. 'Early Finish' is an addictive piece that utterly succeeds in
sucking you right in like a vortex. The marching bassline serves it's purpose of movement in a strong loopy groove intertwined by tight snares, while the pads and poltergeist'y sounds
reformat our heads with an inability for space-time tracking. The other side of this affair, 'Late Start', is all about the sleazy jazz dance moves. It's a microcosm of sparkling glitches
and vocal snippets, locked in a simple yet flowing bassline and a sea of shuffled hi-hats. A piano kicks in at key points, alongside percussive elements, adding some deepness to the a
already rich palette.

This is the world of Anestie and Denis as one. As playful as it is serious, this double tracker takes you to a place where you don't know if you're diving in ,or actually diving out. A sonic

Ellum Audio welcome a new name to their ranks for the label's first EP of 2017. That man is Barcelona based Raxon and he serves up a brace of brilliant tracks that prove he is a fast rising star.
Before now, Egyptian born Raxon has been based in Dubai, where he was resident at the Audio Tonic events. He has released on label including NM2 and Tronic and
has a release coming soon on Diynamic. From Creamfields to Watergate to ADE, he has played all over the world as well as guesting on John Digweed's Radio Show and is one of the Middle East's most prominent talents.
The steely and direct 'Majoris' goes first with its driving drums and slithering synth sounds. Building to a big energetic peak with plenty of effects and filters, it is futuristic and abstract and full of the sort of tension that makes Ellum Audio releases so high impact.
The stellar 'Sin Control' is much darker and more brooding, with a paranoid lead synth pinning you down as spaceship sounds and whirring machines gurgle all
around you. It is one to get heads down and feet stomping and makes for a brilliantly austere and intergalactic atmosphere.

With early support from Petre Inspirescu, Rhadoo, Cezar or Sammy Dee, this little brother's journey is just beginning.

Berlin's own Marco Haas aka T.RAUMSCHMIERE made an irreparable impression globally in the 00's as a sawtoothed, ANTI-rave radical thanks to his immense stage antics and larger-than-life releases on Novamute. Since then, Haas has established himself as a contemporary with emotive, dark ambient tales on his own imprints Shitkatapult/Albumlabel.
KOMPAKT's love affair with Haas goes back to our earliest days. Some of his first tracks were released on KOMPAKT in the form of two raw EP's entitled "Bolzplatz" (KOM021 - 2000) and "Musick" (KOM037 2001). These two formative releases elevated the "Schaffel" sound to raw and shameless places we never could have imagined. The results set a tidal wave in motion that to this day remains one of KOMPAKT's most infamous legacies.
In an off-chance reunion with Haas in his studio, we learnt about what he'd been doing since the "Monstertruckdriver" days. It turned out he's been ever so busy outside of the mainstream working with the likes of Dieter Meier of Yello, Caspar Brötzmann, Andreas Dorau, Fraktus, Ofrin or Barbara Morgenstern and his recent work with Ulli Bomans aka Schieres under the SHRUBBN!! monicker.

On the way out, he passed over his 2015 self-titled album - which proceeded to blow our minds. It was mutually decided that it's time for him to return home.
May 19, 2017, will see KOMPAKT releasing T.RAUMSCHMIERE's new, epic solo full-length HEIMAT. It presents another side of his work which was always there, but never got that much airtime: the artist, the author, the composer with the crystal-clear sound. HEIMAT is a stunning techno album that neither excludes Ambient, nor gets reduced to constant ass kicking. It's perhaps the best recording so far from this man who asks so deeply, so extensively, so much. And at some point even answers.

Mr.Rooge is back for the first time on Gosu showing that he isn´t only a skilled house/techno producer but also can go different ways experimenting with breaky electro-like styles to form the second installment on the label. He´s accompanied by
an yet unknown japanese technician named Dj Yue who is in charge to bring it back to funky techno terms with his remix contribution.

Italy's Donato Dozzy constructs nearly an hour of dense ambient fog & early morning techno for his mesmeric debut album 'K'. Initially only available as a limited edition cassette tape - that completely vanished within 48 hours of release - all 9 tracks are finally available on this luxury 2x12" vinyl package with professionally printed full colour silk screen artwork on a heavy stock chipboard jacket.

After delivering the FH05, label co-owner Pablo Tarno is back at the controls with the FH09. The A-side features the more clubby cuts, ranging from the broken beat and dramatic jazzy piano chords of Horizons' to the more driving house beat and playful synth melody of 'Gunkan'. The B-side is all about the laidback grooves, Bitchplease' is a heavy dubby bass affair with serene pads that will lighten any mood, while Preemo' brings back Pablo's deep trip hop roots, closing off the record with a classy slowed-down number.

The 2nd release on Youth comes from London artist Shamos. With Lyster having met Shamos through NTS it wasn't long before they were DJ'ing together around parties in London and Shamos began sharing music with him. Shamos, who last released on Funkinevens Apron label, comes with a heavy 4 tracker bringing the punkier dregs of new wave, dreamy abstract house and tripped out hardware jams, on limited red vinyl.

Somedate, the Weimar and EP - Auctor' by Max Goessler. The title track Auctor has an energetic bottom end which modulates into a screaming break being strong on the dancefloor. The B-Side starts off with Fabula, a dreamy early morning groover. Spherical pads and a staccato acidline lie on on top of triplet drum beat which blends nicely between electronic and acoustic drums. B2 is a live recoding of a modular synthesizer jam suited well as a DJ-Tool.

Succeeding a recent run of much-acclaimed outings by stand-out artists such as Laurent Garnier (KOM EX 95), Kölsch (KOM EX 97 & 93) or Christian Nielsen & Locked Groove (KOM EX 96), our SPEICHER series hits the magical number 100 with its latest instalment, an action-packed double 12" pack that includes brand new belters by Kompakt trailblazers MICHAEL MAYER, JÖRG BURGER, JÜRGEN PAAPE and VOIGT & VOIGT.

The Speicher series actually has two birth dates: a first one in 1999, when a "Kompakt For Cisco" 12" special edition inadvertently created a new sub label with the rather pragmatically titled Kompakt Extra 001. Two years later, a Kompakt 12" sampler called "Speicher 1" introduced the name of the series that we know today - and a blueprint for idiosyncratic, powerful techno with clear dance floor ambitions.

MICHAEL MAYER was featured on both of these parent releases and also co-helmed the iconic Speicher 2 vinyl from 2002 (which brought us two essential Kompakt cuts with his own "Pride Is Weaker Than Love" and Reinhard Voigt's "Supertiel") - more than enough reasons to have him start off the celebratory 100th Speicher with a bang: LOUT sees Kompakt's label head engage in bold, synth-laden prime time techno and the kind of epic noise break that informed his earliest output as a producer and DJ. Kompakt stalwart JÖRG BURGER is another usual suspect when it comes to label classics, and his Speicher releases as The Modernist (KOM EX 28) or Burger Industries (KOM EX 16) mark early milestones in the series. His BEATMESSE PT.1 & 2 focusses on the atmospheric side of Speicher and presents a deep, mutable groover.

Meanwhile, JÜRGEN PAAPE's WHISPER ECHO and RODEO unearth the series' not-so-secret pop sensibilities - just as he did on Speicher 47 and Speicher 45 (featuring the notorious "Take That"). VOIGT & VOIGT complete this 2x12" vinyl series profile in style, thanks to moody shuffle bouncer LEISE and the raucous, spiky banger BUM BUM BAR (feat. Chris Trance) - it's a fitting conclusion to Speicher's 100th release, coming from the duo that made a habit out of dropping legendary techno jams, from founding bangers "Korn/Roxy" (KOM EX 3) and "Vision 03" (KOM EX 5) to the most recent Speicher 99.

Delude Records presents their thirteen vinyl only release called Brainwash by the austrian producer GZI. The original track is a fast straight techno track with many electric vibes, like a Brainwash. He will be supported with remixes by the artists Patrick Arbez Sven Sossong and Tom Almex.
