'Woke' is Tiga's third release so far in 2017, and was recorded at Montreal's Lost Star Studios before he returned to Ibiza for the summer. He started this year with 'Eye Luv U' (co-produced by one half of Paranoid London), his first new material since 2016's 'Blondes Have More Fun', and the track that marked his return to Turbo Recordings. April saw Tiga vs Audion's 'Nightclub EP', the third collaborative release from Tiga and Matthew Dear, and the follow-up to their mega-hit 'Let's Go Dancing' and the micro-hit 'Fever'. The 'Nightclub EP' featured 3 new productions: 'Stabbed In The Back' (lead track), 'Pink Bells', and 'Nonstop', and picked up heavy support from Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Boys Noize, Dubfire, Kolsch, Heidi, Gerd Janson, Erol Alkan, Michael Mayer, and more.

In order to celebrate 5 thrilling and inspiring years, we gathered well-known artists, Goldmin
regulars and emerging talents. It was really important for us to express the elusive nature of
the Goldmin sound, in the form of a compilation tracklisting. Over the past 5 years, we had
the chance to meet most of these guys in person, follow their very own creative path, share
ideas, thoughts and there's no doubt that they all had their part to play in crafting our sound.
This intimate and stimulating kind of collaboration had to be expressed and there couldn't be a
better way to capture what we've been busily working for, than a serie of Various Artists 12".
What it comes down to is a quintessential, hard-to-follow Goldmin selection devoid of any
specific standard or norm. And this whole compilation seems to reflect that non-septate
artistic direction, this little something, which has grown throughout our whole catalogue,
since the label's birth.That's why, picking these select few tracks, that could illustrate Goldmin
Music's essential freedom was probably our toughest work yet. It was also important to pick
only the most original and iconic tracks from each artist. In the end each track had to be their
most Goldmin one and they all have been tried in all types of situations, in club at 1 and 5
AM, on the highway at night or even staring at the ceiling during a sleepless insomnia
session. They all fullfilled their duty.

Entering their 6th year and after a short break, Holdie Gawn & Micawber are back in action, delivering the long awaited 10th Sylphe release. Back to their usual A / B format, the Sylphe duo combine forces for a solid EP, which opens with ‘’Gleech Huis’’ - a stomping, bassline heavy broken 808 beat, techno house jam on the A side. Holdie Gawn builds upon these elements, introducing a lush shredded vocal and sparkling textured melodies, building a song out of track. Flip to the B side for Micawber’s ‘’Parsec Telemetry’’ a peak time techno rolling groove, with a punching bass and many layers of glitch, glassy sound design and busy percussion, arranged with a minimal approach on the back of a persistent beat. Sylphe 10 is due late June 2019.

Hailing from one of Europe's historical hot beds for electronic music, Valencia, Upercent makes his well deserved return to KX. Electronic music culture runs deep in his hometown. Barraca, with 50 years of age one of the world's longest running clubs was instrumental in developing what later on became the global phenomenon called Balearic Disco, one of the blueprints for modern clubbing as we know it. Upercent's take on house music is shaped by his unorthodox use of classical instruments and a deep understanding of groove. His new double header for Kompakt's offshoot KX once again proves Upercent's knack for highly infectious hooks and elegant story-telling. Both "Ocell" and "Explota" are fine examples of his tremendous skills in creating state of the art club music with depth and vigor.

Indy Nyles BLK SYSTM EP delivers four tracks of contemporary sounding techno. “BLK HRT” is a fluid amalgam of rolling, glassy synth tones, “BLK MND” is an exercise in similar territory but some of the rough corners are shaved off to allow room for a snaking acid line that begins to emerge a mere 30 seconds in, “BLK SOL”, is a shuffling, rolling, acid track, which lacks a conventional four to the floor kick but is still a fantastic beat tool for the creative DJ. The EP closes with “BLK SYSTM,” which features a gorgeous, lush, beatless intro, like the stunning opening segments that used to grace Detroit tracks of yore. Sirena Negra’s second release is another reason to get excited about this fledgling label and makes it an imprint to watch in the future.

Our Italian artist Luca Morris can surely relax now. This is already his 4. release for Monika Kruse's label and definitely no end in sight. Besides supporting Juventus Turin and running his own label Polar Noise (together with Paul C) he is busier with his dj gigs than ever. So he was relaxed enough to woth on these 4 fantastic tracks, all different but still showcasing his trademark style.

Spain meets India with a touch of Canada!!! This time it's true: it's the unsual collaborations which are the special ones. Thanks to their dj travels and hi speed internet, spanish dj/producer Ramiro Lopez produced three enormous floorfillers together with Arjun Vagale from New Delhi which instantly convinced Monika Kruse to release on her label. With the remix from Toronto based duo The Junkies this EP truly spans the global with the ingredients from three different continents.
