As we love our music multifaceted, we love our artwork colorful. So, after PINK, RED, ORANGE and BLUE, we'll give you GREEN, the fifth out of seven records that we release in celebration of our 50th catalogue number. Again, the captivating artwork is the brainchild of Leipzig's graphic duo Doppeldenk. And don't get misled: there are no greenhorns amongst the artists assembled on this EP. You know that moment when you dance in the club, self-forgotten, the everyday life has no meaning and only those dancers next to you count. Iron Curtis' AGAINST MY WINDOW (DAZED MIX) is a pretty perfect soundtrack for this scene. The dreamy pads are an invitation to stop thinking and just enjoy the moment. At the same time, the elegant House affair has enough drum pressure for long lasting dancing extravaganzas. Leipzig's Perm is coming up with the straightforward and pumping Electro bliss called VLIW, a track that is perfectly balanced in its urgent desire for Metropolis but also heartbreaking moments. On the flipside there's the first signal from Uncanny Valley regular CVBox after almost three years without any transmission. In advance to his forthcoming EP he is back in typical fashion, delivering CAT CUT CLAPS, a mean Dub-Acid-monster that wraps you up with inimitable sci-fi narratives coming straight up from his machinery. Finally, we got the first track from Dispo 5000, the new project from our beloved Jacob Stoy, together with his longtime buddy and creative partner Felix Meyer. Their KLINGENBERG is a great jam that mixes up the tender side of House with a Kraut and Cosmic approach.

Italian producer and Fine Human Records label head Dino Lenny lands on Crosstown Rebels for the first time this November, bringing his distinct and personal style to the label on the absorbing Doctor, also featuring a remix from Nuiton. The haunting, emotive vocals of Dino impress throughout on Doctor, chugging groove moves alongside waves of dark electronics and panic-struck, devilish synth. A track crafted to capture the inner workings of Lenny’s mind, transforming them into a hypnotic piece. Nuiton remixes Doctor on the reverse, adding energy to the original with skipping hats and quirky arrangements, building tension that reaches an intense jazzy crescendo of percussion and brass to leave you in a headspin. On the digital release a dub version loses the voice but retains the mysticism. With almost 30 years of releasing records under his belt, Dino Lenny has naturally built an incredible back catalogue of remixes and collaborations. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business, yet his productions retain a unique style that is all his own. A true lover of the 80s, when he needs that extra touch he will add his vocals to the music, always trying to deliver something original that will stand the test of time, often opting for imperfect unique experience over precise emotionless never-ending loops. Alongside this, he has remixed huge names like Missy Elliott and Timbaland and has collaborated with legends including Madonna, Wu-Tang Clan, Seth Troxler and Dixon. Lenny has been named as “a wizard of electronic music” by the Chemical Brothers, played live with Underworld, released music on the likes of Crosstown Rebels sister label Rebellion, Innervisions, Diynamic, Cocoon & Correspondant, and is currently signed to Ellum. Constantly evolving his sound, Dino is unpredictable & eclectic.

Though the clubs and festivals shall remain closed for the foreseeable future, Kölsch has kept the beat alive with the release of four new tracks since the start of 2020. Thankfully he has not disappeared from the stage completely and has delivered a weekly flow of Sunday DJ sets from his studio to yours via Facebook. In true Kölsch style he has as usual tested and played new demos and tracks in his sets hinting that there is more new music to come... And that day has arrived. The third instalment / double single makes a huge entry with “The Great Consumer”. This is one of the best rhythms you will hear this year. Especially given that it mingles playfully around Kölsch’s signature synth melody and even harps at some point! “Remind You” finds Kölsch embracing a soulful side to his music…the tune shimmers with a fundamentally Detroit House vibe - trumpets and vocals duet to a relentlessly catchy rhythm. This track is pure jam. Truly a welcome soundtrack to sunnier days.

Obwohl wir uns fast sicher sein können, dass in näherer Zukunft die Clubs geschlossen und Festivals nicht stattfinden können, hat KÖLSCH sich nicht beirren lassen und seit Jahresbeginn schon vier neue Tracks veröffentlicht. Zum Glück ist er auch in diesen Zeiten nicht vollkommen von der Tanzfläche verschwunden und hat euch in einem wöchentlichen Facebook-Stream mit DJ-Sets aus seinem Studio versorgt. In wahrer Kölsch-Manier hat er dabei auch Demos und unveröffentlichte Tracks gespielt, die darauf hindeuteten, dass es bald mehr neues Material gibt… Und jetzt ist es soweit! Der dritte Teil der Serie / die Doppel-Single öffnet groß mit “The Great Consumer”. Der Rhythmus vermischt sich fast neckisch mit Kölsch-typischen Synth-Melodien und an manchen Stellen sogar Harfenklängen! In “Remind You” umarmt Kölsch eine gefühlvolle Seite seiner Musik...In schillerndem Detroit-House-Vibe findet das Stück seine Grundlage, auf der Trompeten und Vocals ein Duett liefern, das unweigerlich zum eingängigen Rhythmus führt. Gold! Ohne Frage ein Soundtrack für sonnigere Tage.

spiel. er sorgt dafür, dass endlich schluss ist mit dem Geknurre. denn was er serviert, macht satt und hält lange an.
Aktionsklangkünstler robag Wruhme macht euch mit der neuen Musik Krause mal wieder fertig. Mit entdeckungsrei-
sen in die Auf- und Abgründe der techno-soundwelt zelebriert er zwei dinner für eine lange Peristaltik zwischen Kopf
und bauch.
er bricht sich dabei keinen zacken aus der Krone. dafür aber der tanzwillige, welcher nicht anders kann, als sich den
Körper lautstark massieren zu lassen. so lässig deep und gleichzeitig kraftvoll wie Wruhme hier den deckel aufmacht,
ist selten. das muss man erst mal bringen - pure state of the Art techno bliss! robag Wruhme: ein chamäleon, welches
unbeirrt seine farben wechselt. Was bleibt ist immer ein chamäleon und ein Wruhme.

The tight knit groove specialists ESHU return with another excellent split EP featuring core members Jocelyn Abell and Ivano Tetelepta. They take one track each and collaborate on one other and again they lock you into their excellent drums from start to finish. First up the Dutch pair work together on Bury The Chains, a super deep and smoky dub cut that is cavernous, mystical and all consuming. The drums are buried way down below the surface as distant pads bring a feeling of automatic and icy hi hats ride up and own the mix. Abell then offers 1949 - 1952, a driven bit of spaced out techno that glides on rubbery drum programming and is fleshed out with gorgeous swirling pads. Last of all, It Was Not A Choice is a quick and slick deep techno affair with deft synths and wet hits all sinking you into the journeying groove. These are three devastatingly effective and atmospheric tracks of heady techno.

After receiving an honorary mention at the Prix Ars Electronica 2000 in the category Digital Music, Ulrich Troyer's Debut EP NOK was originally released on the highly influential experimental music label MEGO in October 2000. The "soundtrack for an imaginary cartoon", combines a palette of extreme high and low frequencies with organic sounds in a polyrhythmic flow.

Now, NOK is available for the first time on vinyl as a full length album supplemented with previously unreleased material from 1998 - 2000 found on the original DAT-Tapes. The reissue includes 2 new remixes created 20 years later. Christian Fennesz (Touch, Mego) delivers a powerful, guitar driven remix that is simultaneously joyful and sorrowful. Stefan Németh (founding member of Radian, INNODE) creates a precise condensation of NOK's sound world with additional overdubs using the MS-20 he was using 20 years ago.

All tracks have been completely remastered from the original DAT-Tapes and cut to vinyl by Kassian Troyer at Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin.

After two years and his album Schwarze Messe, Patrick Arbez returns with a new vinyl. On these release are three new techno tracks with a lot of new fresh dark melodic grooves in Arbez manner.

On the A side are the tracks KEROSIN, a fat techno track with fresh dark vocals and NOWY POKOJ, a melodic techno track with a little bit alien fantasy.

On the B side are the tracks FIEBERGLAZ, a classic melodic techno track in perfect Arbez style with nice female vocals and warm synthesizer and a Remix from KEROSIN, sponsored by the label head TOM ALMEX.
