Rhein-Main based tag team Diggler & Franksen go back some way in the history of Frankfurt's electronic scene. Around 2000 Diggler honed his reputation as a master of dubby techno for a whole decade. His early tracks like 'Boogiemonster' are blueprints of cool. Period. Today he is still rollin' out crisp and deep techhouse beats that combine musical finesse, compositional tension and club appeal. Having released about six albums and countless tracks n remixes for labels from Raum...Musik to Cocoon and from Resopal to Level Non Zero, Diggler is still on the hunt for the proper dose of beat hypnosis.

"La French and German Connection - EP" (Ton liebt Klang)
Aus einem Musikgeschmack entstand ein Kontakt, aus einer Verbindung wurde eine Kollaboration und aus einer Zusammenarbeit wurde eine gemeinsame EP.
"incontrol" aus Lyon und "Wolfgang Lohr" aus Berlin produzierten zunächst nur virtuell, über Dropbox, zusammen und schoben sich gegenseitig die Bälle zu. Dann wurden die Ideen im Studio ausgearbeit und finalisiert. Das Ergebnis ist ein Electro Swing Track "Le Swing Ist King", der mit seiner eingebauten Tanzgarantie nach vorne peitscht und einen satten Ohrwurm hinterlässt.
Der zweite gemeinsame Track "Holy Blues" siedelt sich im noch recht frischen Electro Blues Genre an. Hier treffen bluesige Vocals auf Mundharmonika, Gitarre und eine satte Glide-Bassline.

Abgerundet wird die EP durch starke Remixe in eigener Interpretation, von "Shemian" (Deutschland), der als einer der Electro Swing Pioniere gilt, und 2011 sogar für einen der besten Electro Swing Artist nominiert wurde. Und "Grant Lazlo" (Marseille) der in Frankreich und auch international zu einer echten Größe mutiert ist! Die EP wird sowohl auf Vinyl, als auch digital im Juni 2013 bei dem Hamburger Label "Ton liebt Klang" released werden. Eine starke Symbiose, mit viel Groove und Melodie für den Club....c'est la vie!

Butch is rightly regarded as one of the most prolific producers in electronic music, having graced countless revered labels including Sei es Drum, Cocoon, Rekids and Visionquest. On FTS he makes his long overdue debut on Desolat with four deep and distinctive tracks. Opening track 'Pompino' kicks off the EP with a distorted rhythm and contorted vocals which build and build into a twisted and trippy groove. 'Dimensions' follows in a similar vein, developing slowly and building tension until the tracks drops back in a distorted fashion with distinctive bells and unnerving harmonies. B-side 'Desert Storm' captivates the listener from the off, with a hypnotic rhythm until the track lives up to its exotic name and sees a wailing vocal comes in and cut through the beat. 'Sonny Got It Going On' rounds off the EP in fine style. Proceeding at a slower BPM, it features crisp drums and a dusty gangster-movie sample, culminating in a distinctive and classy slice of electronic music. On 'FTS' Butch lives up to his billing as one of the finest producers around, delivering a four-track twisted and hedonistic journey through expertly crafted underground sounds.

Covered in the known and beloved package-design but all in pink this time... dreamy and pretty and that's the way to start the music here, too. Dutch based sushitech-producer Makam presents a dreamy opening track that is without any doubt the perfect start for this compilation. Warm harmonies and dropping sounds open up the door for track number two by Matt Tolfrey and Inxec: 'Never in doubt' continues where Makam stopped however Tolfreys and Inxecs harmonies and the moody atmosphere meet a solid beat programming and merge down to a pushing piece of music that could have seen the day of light in Detoit, the inofficial techno-capital. Alejandro Mosso joins the club with the third number of our M compilation and he opens up a bag full of positive energy and happiness. With a slight Cadenza-feeling his tune is made for the next beach-party and perfect for all you Âme-fans out there. 'Grinding Love' want you to move, forget and dance till you sweat! Douglas Greed steps back a bit on the energy scale but adds more craziness to the package with his production. 'Dynamite' is a freaky piece of tech-house in a cool Green Velvet style. Sounds, lyrics and the whole programming come pretty close to the lala-land-masters big hits. A cool tune with not very usual ingredients and for sure a great one! Coming up next is 'Beatmakerz".

For thousands of years the concept of time has been a matter of debate. The perception and ideas about time is still a controversial subject. Time is used to measure and study a chain of events or as an instrument of controlling a sequence. Scientists us it to measure while every day use of time means being in time for a departing train, leaving from a certain place in a three dimensional space.
Modern day man would also argue that scientific and philosophical theories aside, time becomes more important with age. From a psychological perspective, our perception of time seems to alter with age as many people feel a day becomes shorter and shorter. Indeed, a young persons day would be about approximately 1/4,000 of their life while one day to a 55-year-old would be approximately 1/20,000 of their life.
Perhaps is time the biggest factor determining the destiny of our lives, it's a necessity but also a burden. Time makes our machines work tirelessly, following orders from a programmed time line. Time dictates our existence in space between point A and point B in which we are supposed to live and spire. Time is the difference between making the right decision or for ever remorse the irreversible. To quote Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, during our predestined life there is "a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace".
