This 2x12" solidifies Jon McMillions idiosyncratic veteran's position as a producer of international stature.
Seattle producer Jon McMillion has been infiltrating headphones and weirding up clubs with his sublimely unusual techno and house tracks since 2006. His restlessly mutating output attains another bizarre peak with the Free Love EP, released jointly with his new pseudonym VisionWorks II. This new four-track single solidifies this idiosyncratic veteran's position as a producer of international stature.

This is the thirteenth full-length release by producer DER DRITTE RAUM (Andreas Krüger). His discography is as stunning as the list of his live appearances. There's not a soul with the slightest interest in electronic music who has never danced to a track by this extraordinary talented producer. He's one of the few that has truly created his own signature sound. Krüger's trademark is his excessive use of hardware intruments in the studio as well as during his live-performances. For his new output he recorded live drum sessions, and clarinet player and a bunch of vintage instruments are used - like black holes, they suck in and spit out the most varied influences. MORGENLAND is DER DRITTE RAUM's latest album-CD and could be considered an immaculate conception album. What is so memorable about this thirteen new tracks is the way it strikes the perfect balance between studio-experimentation and groovy techno without ever breaking stride or losing focus. The selection conveys a palpable deepness, occasionally harboring a touch of melancholy, yet never becoming overwhelming, for at its peaks. There's nothing brash or over-blown here, all the real action is nestled between the beats - while the grooves he concocts are all so earthy and raw that the kick drum functions as an alternative rather than a necessity.

And for all those of you who have waited for a repress of what's becoming another classic on the label, here's the long awaited Kerri Chandler edit of Rootstrax's Harlequin. Desolat celebrate their 5th anniversary with a very special edition of their annual sampler- This edition not only sees artists from the Desolat family turn in exclusive tracks, but also sees Loco Dice supply a first mix on Desolat (DESOLAT MIX001). Loco Dice's 'Lolopopinho' picks up where his recent 'Toxic' EP left off: a groovy energetic whirlwind production that takes the listener on a head spinning journey into the recesses of the label bosses club-orientated mind. Shlomi Aber's 'Mancha' features a sublime bouncing bassline, whilst Yaya weighs in with a track that nods to a fantastically bright future. The latest talent to emerge from the highly respected Romanian scene is Horatio. His track 'How Much 909 Can You Take' serves up a warbling aural assault that will easily get feet stomping. Lucero en Vivo's 'La France' first surfaced in 2010 when it caused a stir on Dice's Amnesia Ibiza Underground 10 mix CD. A welcome addition to the sampler and finally getting the full release it deserves! The young blood of Desolat is rounded of by Alexkid's ethereal 'Enty' which provides some moodiness to proceedings. And of course the mainstays of the label have also turned in impressive productions. Hector's 'Amorphous Mass' displays the dark depths of the Desolat vaults, whilst the first lady of Desolat tINI turns in a warm intricate release in 'Room 305 And as if that was not enough, the release comes with a download code that allows access to all 15 tracks used in a Loco Dice mix available on CD with the cat. No. DESOLAT MIX001.

Continuing a busy run of recent releases on Minus is one of the label's core contributors, namely Jon Gaiser.

Be As One opens its 2013 with a new release from in-house talent Sable Sheep. This new EP features 4 tracks in between house and techno which solidify the german producer relationship with the label and his vision and interpretation of the Be As One sound. Peak-time techno tools 'My Onslaught' and 'His Betrayal' are smartly balanced by more chilled yet groovy cuts like the West Coast influenced 'Harvest My Soul' or the more latin oriented 'Cruzify Me". A solid and varied third outing for Sable Sheep that confirms Be As One right choice in signing the fast rising producer.

Another intriguing release by one of France's most distinctive and prolific electronic music artists is coming out on CLR. On the present EP Terence Fixmer delivers three brand-new tracks which vibrate with imagination, quality and depth, proving once again why he has been at the forefront of the Techno scene for more than ten successful years. The first track and a-side of the vinyl entitled 'Psychik' is a straight forward, ruthless piece of Techno, fulfilling each and every need of the dancing crowd. With its dark, hypnotic and unrelenting vibe it simultaneously challenges, pleases and releases body and mind. 'Psychose' is the more moderate but equally strong counterpart, carrying on the deep and mesmerizing atmosphere of its predecessor. The slower groove leaves loads of space for the individual elements to unfold and every single sound acts and shines with its particular texture. And if this would not be enough, in the third track of the EP Terence Fixmer surprises with a completely different facet of his versatile musicianship. 'Lovesick' is not only another slick production but also features the sensual and haunting vocals of Cormac, resulting in a unique Techno song which talks about love and pain in a very personal, disarming and poetic way. Apart from the ever-present focus on musical integrity, also the overall sound has received close attention. Each one of the tracks sounds crystal-clear and deeply absorbing, which is partly due to the fact that Chris Liebing took care of the mix-down and Brian Sanhaji added the finishing touches in the mastering. This common CLR in-house practice has already generated numerous top-notch releases and these tracks are no exception. It has been said that Terence Fixmer´s music appeals as much to the dancing feet as it does to the searching soul, and the present EP clearly confirms this statement.

There's a certain dynamic that emerges whenever Andre Galluzzi and Dana Ruh pair up to create a record. With last year's "Freya / Mauersegler" split EP on Ostgut Ton, the two have already hit up some of the most prestigious labels in the electronic music landscape. Tracks that are upbeat, driving, and, most of all, fresh have characterized their co-productions, which now have ARAS as a home.

Adrian Niculae better known as Priku is one of bucharest's finest djs and producers as well. After realeasing for labels like arpiar and all inn he now decided to start his own path. Motif will probably feature most of his works from now on, plus some of his close aquaintance's.

Acustic is the name chosen for motif 01 and experiment is the game. Not sounding too far from his last experience on arpiar, Bonita mariposa is a dreamy yet pumping track, filled with shakers and spikes that go along perfectly with the dark piano. Afterhour delight or possibly an intricate starter, who could tell . Marker keeps the darkness but inserts more rhythm, more percussion, more mystery. Micro house is blended with 808 rims and an addictive synth that is sure to keep you moving. 180g pressing

NYC (via Paris) based DJ and producer Sid Vaga returns to Nickodemus' Wonderwheel Recordings with another 12" full of exotic deep house vibes sure to light up dance floors everywhere. It's an impressive follow-up to his genuinely well-received "Brazuca" single from last year.

On the A side, Sid delivers "Na Na Ye", a driving cut with a pulsing bass line and hypnotic African chant that pushes the tune forward before getting flipped into a percussive section alongside deep and subtle synths. On the flip "Manouche" can be found, a late night house tune with psychedelic Balkan guitars and swirling Gypsy vocal samples punctuating the track. Rounding out the single, Valencian producer Oscar Barila (Plastic City, Kling Klong) gives "Manouche" a truly funky remix with a squelchy '80s "new wave" style bass line, thumping house beat, and irresistible synth work coming together for a real after-hours nightclub workout.

Everybody has magic moments in life, and this is one for Danza Macabra Records, the label run by Martin Rojnik and
Edin Cuturic (Danza Macabra Duo), as they announce the release of Patrick Zigon's upcoming album "The Alpha
State", out this September. Momento Magico (Magic Moment) is the first exclusive glimpse into Zigon's new album
and comes just in time to create magic summer moments around the world.
After many years of heavy releasing and remixing, Zigon took a time-out, locked himself into his studio to reinvent
himself and to put all his new energy and creativity into his very first artist album. More than one year of hard work,
sleepless nights, and extensive sound design has yielded thrilling results.
Zigon invited the well-known German reggae-crew Caramelo Criminal to his studio to produce Momento Magic the
perfect introductory single to the album. Perfect for the summer, this track takes the listener on an electronic
atmospheric journey and provides an amazing hypnotic dub-ambience. Chill out and relax, enjoy the sun and praise
Jah while drinking your cocktail, and prepare yourself for Patrick's first album, intended to take things to another
level, the alpha state.
To give a proper remix treatment, Zigon invited the German techno-legend Pascal Feos and his buddy Frank Leicher
to take a swing. Abandoning all harmonies and synths, they completely focus on driving rhythms. With tribal
percussions, spooky fx and vocal-fragments they evolved a techy & tooly groove-monster from the chilled and dubby
original track.
The Spanish sound-genius Dixie Yure well-known for his releases on Nordik Net Records, transformed the original
into an amazing deep house track. Preserving the spirit and atmosphere of the original, Dixie just added more groovy
structures and his typical freaky fx-sounds.
To finish the package Danza Macabra comes up with their very own version. Their characteristic string-hits are paired
with a gloomy, melodic feeling and deep, bass-driven beats.
Momento Magic is a complete package and everybody will surely find a favourite.

Oakland based producer pushes further into the rhythmic netherworld & transports the listener to the uncharted as he continues his free-form exploration of rhythm, dance, & sound utilizing an expansive rhythmic palette.

4 killer tracks were delivered that make up this third Optimo Trax EP.

Optimo Trax is an offshoot label of Optimo Music for tracks aimed at DJs/dancefloors. Yes, we know there are too many record labels already, but we felt an overriding desire to start another one as so much music that didn't seem quite right for Optimo Music (i.e. music that was specifically designed for dancing) kept coming our way. Like the parent label, Optimo Trax will release music by new artists and excavate forgotten classics.

LUMA is a project by Dave Clark from Glasgow. Dave had his first release as a member of State Of Flux in 1993 on T&B vinyl, the label Twitch ran with his DJ partner of that era, Brainstorm. Twitch and Dave have continued to work together in various ways ever since. He has released records as Truffle Club, and as Big Ned on Optimo Music as well as working with Twitch from 2005 - 2010 remixing a plethora of artists under the Optimo (Espacio) moniker before fatherhood necessitated him focusing on changing nappies rather than programming synths. Dave has also recorded under various aliases for R&S, Numbers, Stuffrecords, Dissident and Wireblock.

The twentieth anniversary of that first release seemed a fitting date for Dave to unleash his monster new club music alter ego, LUMA on Optimo Trax. Twitch thinks Dave is the best producer in Scotland and endlessly weeps into his gin and tonics about how unprolific Dave is, so was ecstatic when the 4 killer tracks were delivered that make up this third Optimo Trax EP.

These have been thoroughly road tested over the last few months at gigs around the world.

Giovanni Limongelli aka Limo is the man behind the second release on ProgCity Deep Trax. The "Boot's Heel EP" contains two tracks: While "Martina" is a wicked deep anthem, dedicated to Limo's young nephew, "Boot Beat" on the flipside is a pure minimal mixture of basses and beats which slowly builds up to a high drama with layers of hazy pads.

Memento is really happy to present its 008 release, inviting a couple of guys with big shoulders in the electronic scene: Lee Van Dowski at the control andIlario Alicante as a remixer.
The first thing we loved approaching to these tracks was that the guys were going very far from the street where they usually walk safe; of course you will recognize the touch of them (fortunately!), but we're sure you'll be surprised exactly like us.
The first track "The Old Faithful" is an endless journey from the darkness into light and viceversa, and seems to continues forever. It starts with a very solid groove, percussive and massive, then it cames slowly a pad that brings us to some safe lands together with an acid delayed synth who allows the track to take off with a very sweet and subtle trancey atmosphere. When you think the track is about to finish, here's the main lead synth who slowly takes the control, taking your hand till the end of the track.
The Ilario Alicante's interpretation of this track is a great example of darky witch elegant techno, full of surprises, sudden voices and reversed sounds surround you in every moment supported by some delightful hi hats and a subtle scary groove.

Which is second track "L'Hotel Cherif" Lee goes directly to your stomach.
Kick and bass start in a very self confident way, together with an hi hats riff who makes you think that something very exciting is about to happen. In fact a twisted melodic synth starts his chant giving to the track an epic attitude.
The synth keep on his way opening the cut off and bringing us to the break, where some crazy claps announce the peak.
The Ilario "floor mix" of this track is a dangerous weapon. Techno at his best, hypnotic and emotional, dreamy but solid, where the leading role of the very old school anagogic hats will make you jump!

Und hier kommt die dreizehnte Ausgabe der beliebten Compilation-Reihe - Minimal Techno'.
Diesmal gemixt von Roter & Lewis. Das Duo, bestehend aus dem Aachener Musikproduzenten Dan Lewis und dem Mainzer DJ Sebastian Roter, gehört zweifellos zu den Namen, die man 2013 im Auge behalten sollte. Dan Lewis produziert schon seit 1999 elektronische Musik, hatte bereits Veröffentlichungen auf Labels wie Lickin Records, Kontor und Armada und remixte unter anderen Michael Mind, Patric La Funk und Leisuregroove.
Sebastian Roter konzentriert sich stärker um das DJing und ist stark geprägt von der Rhein-Main Techno Szene und konnte sich über die letzten Jahre einen hervorragenden Ruf erarbeiten. Die zweite CD wird vom neuen Host der Reihe Heckmän gemixt.

Croatian DJ & producer, Denis Horvat was born and raised in a small city north of Denmark. Already as a young kid, Denis was highly addicted to electronic music. In 2009 he signed with the German based label, Great Stuff Recordings, and his track rapidly went on the Beatport Techno chart, and got huge support from many great Dj's and producers. He deservedly topped it with a nomination for best breakthrough artist at the Club Awards 2010. Already at the age of 26, he is playing at various clubs abroad.

Mangue Records deliver the second EP from their owners. This time the main tracks got remixed by Microtrauma (Microtonal, Elected Tunes) and Dole & Kom (Superfancy, Parquet, Death by Disco).

Coup De Foudre (Love at first sight) - thats the best description for René Bourgeois´ (Supdub, Lordag, Deich) debut EP on Shaker Plates. Another proof that this guy is growing to the top. Completed with remixes from Dan Caster and Umami.
