Drückender Bass, verspielte Melodien, markanter Sound, immer treibend. So kennt man Krischmann & Klingenberg. Das kann man auch von dieser Scheibe erwarten. Allerdings wollen die Jungs mit ihrer neuen EP zeigen, dass Sie echte Vollblutmusiker sind und nicht nur nach einem bekannten Schema produzieren. Ruhig, stetig und mit ungeheurem Druck schiebt die ''Ein Leben Im Schrank EP'' durch die Boxen. Diese Klänge ist man von dem Berliner Duo gar nicht gewohnt und doch bekommt man nach drei Titeln und einem Remix das Grinsen nur schwer aus dem Gesicht. Zu tief sitzt die schwebende Melodie des ''Sockentraums'' samt Remix im Gehörgang, zu präzise drückt ''Kleiderbügel Mike'' bassvoll auf die Brust und zu viel ''Radau im Haubenfach'' ist da im Spiel.
Krischmann & Klingenberg haben sich nach ihrem Album viel Zeit gelassen doch das Warten hat sich gelohnt.

Das frisch gegründete Label ''Audio Innovation Records'' setzt auf bekannte Größen mit neuen Ideen und bringt so Bewegung in die Szene.

France has always held a propensity for the more discerning and sophisticated side of electronic music. The most recent wave of producers to emerge from the country is no different in that regard either, with the likes of Wally Stryk's Hermine Records leading a most exciting charge.

An engineering student by day, Stryk turns into an altogether different beast at night - even more so when he's behind the production desk. Unsurprisingly then, he's already lent his talents to a plethora of well-established labels such as Baroque, Escapism Musique and now for the first time, his own Hermine Records imprint.

The 'Quiberon' EP is one that showcases the producer's love for the more minimal and percussive side of the equation, with every track here boasting its own indisputable dance floor charm. The title track is named in homage to the French seaside town of the same name, and just like the village; it's bursting with its own unique vibrancy. Classy, colourful and cultured...and oh so very French we're sure you'll agree.

The bongo-led strands of 'Carnac' are next up, with this one relying on a host of eclectic samples and clever percussion aplenty. 'Hoedic' is another clever DJ tool that brings matters back to 'fist-pumping' territory, before prolific U.S producer Someone Else (AKA Sean O'Neil) culminates the EP with an atmosphere-laden remix of the latter that's crafted on an even edgier tip.

Cellaa Music is starting to come alive with one of its Label Heads biggest hits. With the foundation of Cellaa Music with his friends Martin Heyder and I.G.L., those three guys have decided to begin with 'Casablanca' which has appeared in 2009 for the first time. With the original version of 'Casablanca' Sven rolls out a perfectly crafted, deep tech house tune, which has been played and charted by all the big ones in the scene. - Casablanca' boasts a well thought out groove in conjunction with texture-rich synths topped by twisted vocal snippets making the debut of Cellaa Music as strong as can be!

Remixes for this outstanding release is coming from Frankfurt's Stipé. His remix for - Casablanca' adds subtle house flavors to proceedings and impresses with deep grooves and exceptional musical vibes and found its way on the 2010 'The Revolution Continues' - Space Compilation from Carl Cox

A - Fishtank was carefully handcrafted in the analogue laboratories of Zombie Studios. There is a decisive bounce, creating waves around the edges of the Aquarium, while never creating a nasty spill. Some say it has too much bass, but there is no such thing as too much bass. Join the swarm. B - Guzzler is a straight ride on the Akai MPC. It´s nonstop gas guzzling muscle which is inspired by ZN´s love for classic Dance Mania Records. Welcome back to the Cocoon Recordings headquarter. We are proud to present the next chapter of our infamous compilation-series and believe or not: It's 'M' already! Covered in the known and beloved package-design but all in pink this time... dreamy and pretty and that's the way to start the music here, too.




Dutch based sushitech-producer Makam presents a dreamy opening track that is without any doubt the perfect start for this compilation. Warm harmonies and dropping sounds open up the door for track number two by Matt Tolfrey and Inxec: 'Never in doubt' continues where Makam stopped however Tolfreys and Inxecs harmonies and the moody atmosphere meet a solid beat programming and merge down to a pushing piece of music that could have seen the day of light in Detoit, the inofficial techno-capital. Alejandro Mosso joins the club with the third number of our M compilation and he opens up a bag full of positive energy and happiness. With a slight Cadenza-feeling his tune is made for the next beach-party and perfect for all you Âme-fans out there. 'Grinding Love' want you to move, forget and dance till you sweat! Douglas Greed steps back a bit on the energy scale but adds more craziness to the package with his production. 'Dynamite' is a freaky piece of tech-house in a cool Green Velvet style. Sounds, lyrics and the whole programming come pretty close to the lala-land-masters big hits. A cool tune with not very usual ingredients and for sure a great one! Coming up next is 'Beatmakerz".

Opening up the release is 'der groove günther', a stripped back bit of rubbery, supple techno. The groove sure is infectious, but it's the way its detailed with such curious sounds - metal twangs, squelchy chords, icy hi-hats - that makes it so engaging.

On the remix, Tinush reimagnes the track as an even weirder thing. It's all about micro-evolving details, subtle and inherent funk and keen sound design that is part shiny and stiff at the same time as being elastic and bendy.

febe's other idiosyncratic original is 'tag für tag' a hopscotch bundle of tin pot percussion, jumbled finger and hand claps, gloopy beats and fractured female vocals that are diced and sliced beyond recognition. It sure does make for fresh and arresting house music that operates in a world all its own.

Paul Müller turns in a remix of this one and re-works it into a delightfully jazzy yet synthetic house cut with busy piano lines and bulbous synth notes.

Never sitting still for a second, it twists and turns and will have you doing the same for its duration.

This production trio has been successfully releasing their music on labels such as Quanticman Records, Draft, Escapism Musique and various others. Their latest work PURA VIDA includes two original tracks PURA VIDA and VOUS DANSER. The title track PURA VIDA is a tribal influenced Deep House production with a very addictive groove. The carefully arrange percussions, african influenced vocal snippets and groovy drum beat on top of a quirky baseline clearly define the trio's passion for House music. The second track VOUS DANSER is a more laid back House version with smooth synth sounds, catchy vocal parts, a funky baseline and a deep House beat that keeps you moving all night long.
