This is the debut album of Swedish producer Daniel Andréasson, an artist that has both a sonically and artistic resemblance to the Skudge family of labels and artists.

Pushing his eighth year of releasing records, Andréasson has accomplished the task of creating a debut album that seem to tie together the sound of his previous EP's. Andréasson's sound is in line with a more outsider approach, but with a dance floor focus. A sound that he has been pushing since the beginning.

This approach shines through at the most on the tracks such as 'Mc35I# Rushup', 'Stay' and 'Dreams' as these specific tracks shows Andréassons more accomplished style. In between, the album keeps a perfect concept throughout. Taking breathers with its interludes and in general "shorter" tracks that hints of a ambient leaning urge to express himself, he never loses focus. A masterful debut album from a artist to keep your eye on!

Following their 50th release milestone CPU celebrate 5th anniversary with a 2x12 LP remix compilation.

CPU has been reticent in regards to remixes, with a grand total of zero during its first five years of existence. This all changes with this dedicated remix compilation celebrating the label's 5th anniversary. The exalted roster have chosen their favourite tracks to remix from the label's back catalogue and are brought together in a very special 2x12 gatefold sleeve.

B12, Jensen Interceptor and Morphology all make an appearance alongside some of the label's seldom seen artists. There is also a posthumous Microlith remix of Tryphème - Mélodramatique.

Electro has again proven its staying power and CPU has played a key role in championing some of the genre's greatest: bringing new artists to the front line and cementing the status of the established. After the sweat-soaked throwback fervour of his 2015 debut LP, Unknown To The Unknown and Hot Haus main man DJ Haus returns to Rinse for a brand new 10-track album, "Artificial Intelligence". Working at a formidably high rate of productivity, Haus returns with this new record less than 12 months after his last; and he shows no signs of slowing down, maintaining his reputation for creating hard-edged dance anthems that leave a lasting effect on the dancefloor.

Each of the album's 10 tracks take on a life of their own, as DJ Haus mutates his own nostalgic influences through rave, acid basslines, detroit techno and more to create something with each track that's genuinely innovative, but no less devastating in the dance. Using Haus' broad sonic palette, "Artificial Intelligence" harks back to golden eras of dance music without ever seeming pastiche, with DJ Haus splicing pre-existing genres to produce hybrid sounds that are rooted firmly in the future. Collaborations with the likes of Arun Verone and DJ Octopus & Steve Murphy utilise their signature quirks, integrating them into Haus' creations to fabricate something completely unique.

Opening to the frenzied sounds of acid house, "Feels So Good" instantly consolidates the producer's deft ear for a purpose-built vocal sample. Using typically overlaid embellishments as rhythmic elements, DJ Haus utilises repetitive vocals & high-octane rave stabs to create a natural movement that's sure to heat up clubs worldwide. "Got Me", a collaboration with midlands-based tech house don Arun Verone, brings to the forefront an intensely percussive beat that's progressively anchored by acidic basslines, adding weight to the production's abrasive drum line.

For all the album's nods to the golden eras of classic genres, "Artificial Intelligence" doesn't veer away from experimentation, with the pummeling percussion of "Pump It" soon to be running up heartbeats nationwide, the 8-bit computer game-esque sounds of "Blip Blorp", and the paranoid chimes of "Artificial Intelligence". As one of the most productive artists in the club scene, DJ Haus has pooled from a huge pool of inspirations and dipped back in time to the most misty-eyed moments of rave culture to present "Artificial Intelligence"; an album that's deadly, hard-bodied and most importantly, like nothing out there in the club stratosphere right now.

Matrixxman has been a Dekmantel regular for a couple of years now. The San Francisco producer continues to impress with a new triptych for Dekmantel Records. Over the course of three EP's (Rhythm, Acid, Polyphony), Charles McCloud Duff displays his versatile and original take on house and techno. The concept of the triptych is to explore the range within the confines of a particular limitation.

This second EP "Sector II: Acid" shows an exercise in acid. Similarly, the TB-303 may conjure certain knee-jerk reactions at a glance, but acid has the potential to cover a broader palette of emotion than one might initially expect. Sector II holds three squirming 303 sequences and the classic rhythmic drum programming of 'Arrival', 'Bad Acid' and 'I Am Matrix'. 'Rites' on the other hand is more subtle and fluent, swinging with hazy acid flourishes and dynamic syncopation.

Serious slo-mo acid doom from Drvg Cvltvre and Han Do Jin (aka Warlock), while Nehuen provides a raw analogue workout, and Mark Broom completes the set with a peak time banger.

From a sporadic late-nineties outlet for the work of label founder David Sumner aka Function and his contemporaries, Infrastructure has re-emerged in the last two years as a busy and consistent platform for modern electronic music. Re-launching with a collaboration between Sumner and long-time colleague Ed Davenport aka Inland, the pair released Function/Inland's ambient techno EP 'Odeon / Rhyl' as INF-012 in May of 2014, marking a new wave of material on the label which had been dormant since Sumner's first material on Sandwell District emerged in 2007.
In the two years following the pair have orchestrated 10 vinyl releases, including a debut album by Techno anonym Post Scriptum, two singles from young avant-garde composer Campbell Irvine, a double pack reissue of classic acid pioneer-tracks from Mark Archer's Trackman guise, a crossover single by Cassegrain & Tin Man, and more. Both Post Scriptum and Campbell Irvine released their debut material on Infrastructure, discovering and promoting new raw talent is high on the agenda.
Now Infrastructure introduces it's next milestone - Facticity. A 4 x 12'' vinyl box set, CD and digital format compilation featuring 15 tracks by key artists, label colleagues and new faces. Facticity represents the foundations of what Infrastructure stands for - a manifesto for 2016 and beyond.
Function, Inland, Function/Inland, Campbell Irvine, Post Scriptum, Cassegrain & Tin Man, Rrose, Efdemin, Vatican Shadow, Silent Servant, Blue Hour, Steve Bicknell and Cleric all feature, spinning a narrative ranging from lush, ambient electronics and post-club diversions, to contemporary club techno and back again.
Infrastructure regularly works with up-and-coming artists on cover artwork. Respected young Swiss artist Julian Charrière provided the iconic greyscale cover for Post Scriptum's debut LP (INF-020), and London based photographer Guy Archard's work featured on Campbell Irvine's 'Reunion of Two Bodies' Maxi-EP (INF-018).
Now the celebrated British fine-artist Robert NcNally has been invited to submit original artwork for Facticity. Selected by Jake and Dinos Chapman to show work at the prestigious Flowers Gallery in London, and commissioned by Damien Hurst to provide work for his private collection, Robert's incredibly detailed large scale pencil drawings are attracting serious interest in the modern art world.
McNally's cover image was selected from a series of works based on adapted antique post cards. Its anti-establishment, censorship-related overtones are clear to see, as is the stark use of contrast - thick layers obscure the fading original, re-appropriating it. Setting the tone for this carefully compiled collection of new music, rich in subtexts and sub-genres, a special edition print of the cover artwork will be included in the first 500 copies of Facticity.

From groovy basslines to fucked-up hard techno, the 4th Acid Avengers EP is a real punch to the stomach.

Tracks from Hyvinkää, Finland. Written by Juho Kahilainen and Tomi Kesäniemi. Both boring family men, middle-aged and middle-class. However, they've been here long enough to learn a trick or two. Nods to Detroit, nods to acid.
A mid-tempo track Tape Loader sounds like a 909 trapped in swamp. Fast and jazzy R Train Funk pays a tribute to Detroit-legends with a decent 303-line to drink beer to.
The Tower That Stands In The Woods is a dubby slow-down before Suomi 100 Acid celebrates Finland's 100th anniversary with lyrics that deal with recession and the Finnish government's fair deal to cut everyone's wage.

If this record was a fruit, it would be two melons. But it's not. It's a compilation of four tracks by Adryiano, Monogenic, Kastil and D.J. Shmugs - most probably for club use. Or work, if you are weird enough.
Tip: Tracks so different you can secretly flip the record and play them all to save space in your record bag.

After 20 years as a dj and several releases on labels just like Anthony Rother´s Datapunk, Dave Clarke´s Whitenoise or co-labs with Gez Varley from LFO, Frank Kusserow took a longer break from the active electronic music scene. In the meantime he produced tons of new tracks that result in his new and vinyl only imprint Sprow Recordings. The name Sprow comes from his career as a BMX professional in the early 80´s and the logo of the label was created in that time also. Herewith he fulfills his long term dream to start a record label, where he only decides about the musical output. The labels philosophy is to always feature different styles on each release, from straight Techno to Acid, Dub, Detroit and more electro influenced or melodic stuff.

The first release "Mind the Acid EP" includes 3 tracks. "Mind the Acid" on the A-Side is a straight forward and epic acid stomper. "Altered States" on B1 is a hypnotic, more melodic piece of techno and "Dub Reason Pt.1" closes the EP with more dubby and quiet vibes. Stay tuned for more releases coming soon on Sprow Recordings.

Suction Records is excited to unleash the 3rd vinyl EP in our series of archival releases by a RX-101 aka Dutch producer Erik Jong, who recorded hundreds of AFX / Rephlex-inspired tracks from 1997 to 1999, which remained unreleased until now. Continuing with our Roland SH-101 themed artwork, RX-101's EP3' pairs the 101 with it's acidic little brother, the infamous TB-303. There's been a lot of renewed interest and hype surrounding the revival of acid techno in recent years, but RX-101's acid offerings are not the slow 'n slinky variety favoured by most of today's acid revivalists.... Instead, EP 3' contains 6 tracks of crunchy, blown out, high-octane rave acid... Long-time AFX/Rephlex fans will recognize the sound immediately - the 6 tracks found on EP 3 are eerily reminiscent of those sought-after Rephlex classics, the Universal Indicator series of 12's - released anonymously by Aphex Twin and his Kosmic Kommando on Rephlex from 1992-1995..
