Thomas P. Heckmann's 30th Anniversary Special Edition ! LTD Splatter Repress !

Out of a mood and while repairing one of his 303 basslines, Heckmann just recorded two Acid-House tracks on the fly and live in his studio !! The result is now presented on Vinyl AFUXTRA release !!!

The first EP on Note Variation was prepared by a debut producer, but by no means a newcomer to the broken beats, Subtraxive from Moscow. He brings you closer to the savor of orthodox mid-tempo breakbeat in the British style, inspired by the subtractive synthesis of the eternal classics of Roland, such as SH-101, TB-303, TR-808, TR-909.

Alexander (the real name of Subtraxive) was inspired by the latests music species of the early 00s. Each track is a proven ascetic antidote to the hybrid jumble of genres, but at the same time organically combines with many types of garage and house music for your pleasure of killing it on the dancefloor.

"Circles" steals the show with the mid-tempo sandstorm drums and mantra-spiral bassline. The second track on the release “Unwind”, immediately teleporting you to the end of a night. Subwoofer health test tool. "With You / Without You" opens proceedings with a spiral of haunted acid bass and technoid hihat leaping in energy throughout. "My Flow" is a subtle composition of euphoric synths and well-crafted sub-bass. These nostalgic early morning breaks scattered cut stylishly close off the EP.

Originally designed as a friend-to-friend, unofficial comp to be played on your car system by the parking lot of some local minimarket with the woofers set to eleven, mullet in the wind and cans of energy drinks pouring, J-ZBEL's longed-for debut LP 'Dog's Fart Is So Bad The Cat Throws Up' (we'll leave you judge as to whether we're talking Schrödinger vs Pavlov theories here) is due for imminent landing in all good record stores, as foretold by a Mayan prophecy from circa 2000 BC.
Delving in iconoclastic themes and pop culture at its most sketchy and accidentally inspiring, the enigmatic Lyon-based trio enters the melee all horsepowers roaring and laser-guns blazing - delivering twelve cuts that span the broadest sonic spectrum as they fracture their way across changing sonic reliefs, from trancey
adrenaline rushes to 303-driven dance epics, through hyperfuturistic hardcore turns and further knee-buckling, breaksy manoeuvres.
Fruit of their trademark hybrid live and studio approach, some of the album's tracks were originally and exclusively conceived for live use, whilst another part has been produced in the studio from start to finish. The Easternmost-sounding jacking tune and album highlight 'Sebulba' feat. (faux-)Bristolian from a different mother Simo Cell was actually recorded last year during the latter's residency at Trempolino, in Nantes.
Layered with a richly hued palette of elements, J-ZBEL’s debut long-player melds choice samples of video-game soundtracks (check the Metal Gear alert noise and Mortal Kombat samples on 'Bertrand Au Mont D'Or' and 'Mortel Kombat'), playful polyrhythmic touches ('Le Riddim du Bardouin'), no-nonsense Goa trance inspiration ('Tunnel Vision'), but also liquid DnB and organically-grown junglisms ('Pardon Mouloud', 'Excremangue', 'Diablo Verde Part II') and - to top it all off in the most spectacular manner - the stadium-sized gabber madness of 'The J-ZBEL Anthem', sure to leave wisps of vapour in its wake.

Industrial fueled distorted techno loops brought together in a rather aggressive display of sonic warfare by none other than Madback Records big-cheese Tripped. The following tracks have been thoroughly tested on various dancefloors, mountain resorts and garden tea party's. While the main flow of this EP clearly is Industrial and hard techno, Tripped never was shy about his love for the 303 and distorted 909 kickdrums. This time is no different, bringing 'Haven't You Learned Anything' to a whole other level in the Romantic mix version.

The 7th edition in the Exit Planet Earth vinyl series features another serving of electronic cuts designed for space travel with 20/20 Vision debuts from The Exaltics & Paris The Black Fu, Alex Jann, Lost Souls of Saturn and Kim Cosmik.

Opening with an interstellar serving of classic electro funk from the pivotal figurehead of Germany's electro-tipped underground 'The Exaltics' of 'SolarOneMusic' and 'Paris The Black Fu' from the mighty 'Detroit Grand Puhbas'.
This heavy weight collaboration comes in the form of 'wea poni zedin form ation' a masterclass in acid-influenced and undoubtably charismatic electro, complete with distinctive Kraftwerk-esque vocals. Alex Jann follows up on the A side with 'Android Memory' combining bleep techno elements with futuristic electro in an expertly crafted high paced does of sci-fi funk peppered with chaotic glitches, driving grooves and punchy kicks.

On the flip side we're joined by Seth Troxler and Phil Moffa under their inter dimensional moniker 'Lost Souls Of Saturn'. L.S.O.F offer up a mind altering hybrid of sci-fi inspired electronica, techno, electro, acid, free-jazz and more, blurring genre lines and pushing boundaries deep into the cosmos. Under-pinned by a predominately break beat groove 'Rave is Back' incorporates a plethora of un expected elements, from orchestral drones and harmonic melodies to unidentifiable machine glitches.

Wrapping up the 7th outing in the Exit Planet Earth vinyl series, we're joined by long-time purveyor of UK Electro -
Cybersoul's 'Kim Cosmik', firing on all cylinders with a tripped out assault on the senses. Her track 'Moonrise' hammers home with a fast paced, glitch heavy groove, serving up complex patterns across an ominous soundscape littered with ghost like echoes.

Portuguese based Lewis Fautzi makes a welcome return to Soma with his latest EP of tripped out techno, "Extinction". Since first releasing with Soma back in 2013, the young DJ/producer has carved himself quite the career which has taken him round the world and saw him release with some of the globe's most elite labels as well as forging his own Faut Section Imprint. This latest EP has Lewis further developing his sound with 4 distinct, warped and superbly produced tracks.

Brunn wrote and produced all tracks between 2017 and 2018; In contrast to must recent releases were limited to one or two synthesisers, this time a whole array of instruments was used: tELHARMONIC, Music Thing Modular Chord Organ, Doepfer A-111-3V Precision VCO, 4ms STS, Yamaha DX7, Clavia Nord Modular G1 & G2. The long-player comes after a collaborative album with Dave Wheels out on Sushitech early this year, and will be followed by one together with Move D, via Smallville in 2020.

Next Libertine featuring Madrid talented artist Do Or Die who delivers a very interesting album with various shades of his style from techno to acid and italo-disco influenced tracks.

Following his debut on the label in 2019 - ‘Mind Dweller’ (COUNTER013) - Frankfurt’s Stefan Alexis is back with his next chapter of four atypical, undulating club tracks.

The EP features ‘Eratosthene’, a shimmering up-tempo weapon in collaboration with label founder Inland, alongside three other diverse cuts highlighting some of the Macedonian psychotherapist’s favourite modes of play: filter-funk, acid, broken-beats, sampling.

This release comes on 180g 12’’ vinyl and digital, featuring artwork by Berlin-based Norweigan painter Tyra Tingleff.

Non series turned 10 years last December since its inception in 2011. And we celebrate it with this great, deep, minimalistic, forceful, lethal compilation from friends and artists of the label.

Berlin's Cocktail d'Amore and Tokyo's Ene Records have come together once again to present the music of Solidair. The duo of Cocktail alumni Luigi Di Venere and Jules Etienne present three tracks aimed to induce a dance floor hypnosis. Orgonite (Riding the Waves) does just that, a slow build awash in the ebb and flow of acid tinges, just enough to wet your whistle on a Saturday night. The original mix keeps the skeletal support but throws in a life preserver of 8 bit gaming synthesis. Frisky arps call and respond to each other before making way for sinewy pads to lift off. Tiger's Eye sets itself onto cruising speed incorporating elements of late 90's acid techno with the sleek and smooth clubbing aesthetics of modern day Berlin.

With 2022 comes some much needed green shoots of positivity and recovery for creative folk all around the world. For us, in spite of the constant hovering in pandemic purgatory, neither here nor there, the tides appear to be turning in our favour. The added spare time of being in a state of clopen, combined with the healing twinkle in our artists’ eyes, has meant that we’ve worked on some of our favourite projects yet, and this next one – our 7th foray into the vinyl medium – is no exception. As you’ve probably noticed, here at CV, we like to reserve physical releases for when the artist is ready to present something truly special; a magnum opus of sorts. A divine fusion of old-skool and new-school breaks, acid, trance, and techno, Beyond The Forest is exactly that. One of our oldest friends, initially releasing on the label in 2016 under his now retired alias Sire, Selected Dream Memories (real name Côme Arthur) presents his most energetic, well-executed body of work to date. Slingshotting through celestial fields and bounding over flickering, emotion-drenched melodic elements; driven by zigzagging breakbeat percussion and an explosive low end, Arthur perfectly deepens our impression of his sonic niche. As always with Arthur’s productions, whether it be on the dance floor or beyond, each four of the releases’ tracks are sure to electrify, daze, enthral, captivate, and inspire. Remixing the spine-tingling acid track Sector 4, we have Sydney’s emerging authority on breaks, bass, and more: Mincy. She elevates the track from a more reserved and rhythm-based one to a feel good closer that’ll make the floor absolutely erupt in a breakbeat frenzy. Sergii Galan, the Ukrainian producer also known as Haze, makes his debut on the Kyiv-based Rhythm Buro imprint. The artist who released his first ever EP just two years ago (the excellent "Somewhere In Time" EP on Anagram Records) is now joining the roster of the label affiliated with the event series of the same name. While the Rhythm Buro events are best known for keeping the Ukrainian capital's dance floors busy, the Rhythm Buro label is set to hit its fifth release with Haze's RB005. As is evident with the EP's artwork, RB005 marks the beginning of a new era for the label, breaking the ties with what was previously its signature visual mark.

The record's opening tune is the heaviest on the EP, good reason as to why it was chosen as the title track. "Aimless" is bottom-heavy and bass-rich, done in the true "acid eiffel" face-melting fashion. However, its successor on A2, "Inner Voice", takes a completely different route sound-wise, referencing timeless old-school breaks and vocal samples, which showcase the diversity of Haze's palate. To further confirm this notion, "Prism" on A3 appears as the EP's "slow burner", the acidic-psychedelic-downtempo tune you wouldn't often come across on a record filed under "techno" in 2019.

In line with Rhythm Buro tradition of sorts, the B-side of the record is dedicated to the deeper tunes, which blur the lines between techno and house. "Majula Sunset" on B1 is both trippy and melodic; with a groovy rolling bass line only a quality sound system could handle properly. Closing the record is Ben Buitendijk's remix and combination of two of Haze's tracks from the EP: "Prism" and "Aimless". As indicated by the title, this track "Natura" is not only a rework of Haze's tunes, but also homage to one of Rhythm Buro's most original events of the same name, which Buitendijk has played, an event which is held in the forest outside Kyiv every summer.

What is Randolph & Mortimer? A folk duo, a pair of accountants, a techno act…a law firm? What started off as an ‘art project’, influenced by 80s Industrial, 90s rave music and inspired by the documentaries of Adam Curtis, has morphed into a full on New Beat / Body Music dance-floor moving machine. Their studio releases have gained support from some of the biggest underground DJ’s in the world like Ancient Methods and gone on to top various genre sales charts on Bandcamp. Whilst the R&M live shows have seen them share bills with Godflesh, Youth Code, PIG and 3Teeth.

In 2019 it was time for R&M to throw a marker down and so came “Manifesto For A Modern World”, the debut album comprised of tracks from the “$ocial £utures”, “Hope Tragedy Myths” and “Citizens” EP’s plus some additional songs. This album is basically a greatest hits of Randolph & Mortimer. A statement of intent. All killer and no filler. The original limited edition CDs and tapes sold out and it had some incredible reviews. A Model Of Control called it “An absolutely outstanding release” and super cool New York DJ Andi Harriman (Synthicide) made it one her of top 10 albums of 2019 on Post-Punk

So here we are in 2020 and the Randolph & Mortimer story has seriously stepped up a gear with this double vinyl version of the album featuring all Manifesto tracks plus the acid styled dance-floor favourite “Apply Yourself” and four brand new tracks (“Crystal Peaks”, “Stateless”, “What Are You?”, “Fantasy Land”) which make up a whole new EP.

Once in a while I hear music from a new talent which I feel is onsistently great and at a high production-level. Allan Feytor is one of those producers. Allan has been super creative in 2020 and together we handpicked 4 tracks which complimented each other and felt sounded for Noir Music. Allan then perfected every little detail until we both felt all tracks were at their best. The result is this fantastic
debut on Noir Music entitled “Orbit”

Another massive acidic vocoder electro banger EP from Sound Synthesis!

Comprising Marco Simioni, Mattero Mazreku, and Francesco Pio Nitti, Qualia are a group of Italian producers who have never met in person. Due to the covid pandemic, they had to colaborate in the cloud, yet the results are impressively coherent.

Having previously released records on Detroit Underground and fellow Utrecht label 030303 between them, they arrive on U-Trax in April 2022 with their eponymous EP of four deep tracks taking influence from a range of genres, including acid-techno, ambient, noise, and beyond.

Leading the release, 'Perception' brings beautiful strings, funky 808 drums and acid tones for a deep and moving opener. The track clearly reveals the inspiration Qualia got for this release from the early Gescom releases. Stretched across the A2 is the ambient bliss of 'VV Cephei A', which brings Boards of Canada-esque drones and tones.
On the flip, the title track 'Qualia' brings a headsy dose of braindance to the mix, recalling the early experiments of Aphex Twin with merciless 303 squelches and distant reverberations. Closing track 'Until I Break Apart' leads with dark, moody strings before a pounding kick introduces a stark tempo shift before deep ambient atmospheres engulf the final minutes.

This is the 20th release on RIOT Radio Records, an independent techno label based in Scotland.

Devoted to music from a very young age, Nomad has been writing electronic music and DJing for the last three decades. His DJing skills earned him gigs at many of Scotland’s top clubs and in Europe, eventually taking up residency at Edinburgh’s legendary ‘Dogma’ where he helped shape the infectious club with his rampant track selection and turntabalism. However, 2015 saw him change direction, craving something other than DJing in clubs, which resulted in the spawning of highly successful radio shows and record labels under the RIOT banner.

Continuing with our ‘Limited As Fuck’ series of 12”s, with his very first release on his own label, Nomad finally unleashes his instantly recognisable form of brain twistin’ techno with three screaming tracks, literally.
