The second instalment of the Fourier Transform White Label Series sees a similar format of having to search for those artists on a wordsearch, use your expert ears (or even the help of Google if you are really stuck it might help for a couple) and pair them up with the tracks on the info sheet included with the release. You are looking for tracks by the following artists which are more geared towards the deep & techier end of the dance music spectrum a-z:

Artec – Is the duo of Bruce Bickerton and Stuart Nisbet, who gained the attention of Tom Middleton and Mark Pritchard with their track being included on the Global Communication Fabric compilation. Find an exclusive mix by Bruce (under his Alucidnation guise) of their never-released-on-vinyl track here from that compilation.

Dark Male (Mark Dale) – previously released on the legendary Eukahouse label, amongst others and has a rich family history in techno scene. His track is deep, dark and throbbing with atmosphere. Expect a release from him and his brother Colin remixing on FT sometime soon.

Rob Van Beek – needs no introduction, as one of Hollands finest exports he records here as Rob Bellfield, and also releases as Elusan and Rob Belleville. His contribution to this EP finds him settling for a deep techy groove.

The Vast Profound – Is Wil Russell, co label owner and supporter of underground house and all things deep. With a long-standing background in music production, find here bass driven loops, and deep pad melodies.

D. Carbone steps up for the next entry on UFO Inc. with four exhilarating energy boosts. Raised in the Vesuvian area but a longtime resident of Berlin, Davide Carbone has spent years honing in on a bold, industrial-leaning sound that targets the body and mind in equal transcendence. His aesthetics are seemingly on the harsher side, but underneath each phrase lies a carefully arranged sonic mapping that weaves together the raw, the delirious, and the euphoric. As a producer and DJ who works across multiple aliases, Davide's commitment to the culture has been firmly planted over many years of exploring the weirder corners of techno, working with a wide range of beloved labels and performing across the globe. For his debut on UFO Inc, he focuses on a clear sonic paradigm, considering the fusion of uplifting, trance-y breaks and contrasting hard rhythmic frameworks in order to craft a unique space between two extremes.

4Clubrecords presents with the 4CRV003 a new release from Felix Bernhardt. The typical Bernhardt sound on this 'Treib Dings EP' is a framework of thick and wired sounds, programmed in dark Groove sequences. Red Axes return with the third EP in their ongoing Trips series. This multimedia project mixes up music, film and travel and finds the cult pair seeking out extraordinary collaborations in the countries they visit. This time they head to India having previously visited Vietnam in 2019, and Ethiopia and The Ivory Coast in 2018.

Niv Arzi and Dori Sadovnik run their own Garzen Records label and have become much loved for their psyched-out and unusual fusions of guitars, synths and drums. From acid to techno to experimentalism they have done it all, and also worked with Life And Death label boss DJ Tennis as Redrago on a well received album in 2019. This project is about engaging with local cultures and musical traditions, linking up with local musicians, playing and recording with them and presenting workshops for youth music schools.

First up is 'Pad Yoga Raga' which has a mesmerising flute floating above a spoken world monologue about the history of raga. Supple bass synths and gently drums roll below to hypnotic effect and the whole thing is hugely atmospheric. 'Mumbai Syndrome' is as busy as the famous city itself: it bristles with life, bird sounds, hiccuping percussion, tabla sounds and slick grooves that sound like on India's famous trains.

'Dehli Little Prince' is a little deeper and more trippy thanks to the fusion of western rhythms with Indian melodies and instrumentals, which come on in uneven loops and eventually melt your mind. The Bangalore Rave Version is characterised by exquisite sitar and more rippling tablas.

After hot releases on Formatik and Stereo Seven Resident Siwell is back on Sphera with a big release including Remixes by Remerc (YellowTail, Stylerockets, Cocoon) and Wally Lopez (Factomania, Global Underground)

Bogdan Balaban delivers a strong & techy debut remix. B-side is done by Italias finest - Luigi Giomini (part of Abnormal Boyz), Konstress (Splitsound) and Tony Matt (Phaze Records, Globox). The fourth instalment of Selador’s occasional Magic Black Plastic vinyl series has arrived with another quartet of heaters that showcase the depth and range of Dave Seaman & Steve Parry’s long running, acclaimed label.

This time Berlin based artist Jamiie gets to grips with Just Her’s evergreen ‘Will We Ever Learn’ to devastating effect as she produces one of the remixes of the year. Anthem alert!

Next, another of the label’s recent best sellers, the House meets Electro, genre-crossing banger that is Luke Brancaccio & Gai Barone’s remix of Anthony Pappa & Jamie Stevens‘ ‘Hold You Back’.

Then, flip over for another recent highlight in the form of label fave, James Harcourt and his roof-raising ‘Act Of Resistance’ featuring the sumptuous tones of ASYN on vocal duties.

And last but by no means least, into the vaults we go for a Selador classic from Berlin producer Tom Peters and his 2016 winner, ‘Two Of Us’ remixed with aplomb by another master German craftsman, Tim Engelhardt.

Kicking off the sixth various artists record, ‘The Works’, on the Detroit-based Infolines label is Shaun Reeves’ ‘Playground’. The co-founding member of the Visionquest project utilises a low-slung groove with snaking, sizzling hats above while mysterious bell-like keys toll in the background. Up next, Infolines label founder ADMN and Aran Daniels, one-half of the Remote Viewing Party alias who featured on the previous Infolines VA, team up for ‘50 Gallon Drums’, a wonky trip boasting wild and whirring percussion in an infectious drunken groove working perfectly alongside crunchy synth-lines.
"Cranberry, extra ice. IYKYK" - Infolines On the B-side, the anonymous Bendersnatch returns to Infolines with ‘Doppler’, taking us deep under the waves for a submarine expedition. The sonar bleeps among electrifying zaps, a steady techno beat leading the way. Closing out this fantastic next instalment on the Infolines label is Snack Time founder Gino, who brings us ‘Bonedog’, finishing the release on a high with psychedelic synth elements and an iconic, earworm vocal over a slick groove - secret weapon energy!
Infolines, a dynamic collective of Producers, DJs, and friends hailing from Detroit, is renowned for its compilations that showcase the distinct styles of its artists. Following the success of Infolines 005, ‘CAID’, which garnered support from artists like Anfisa Letyago, Paco Osuna, and Korea Town Acid, the label is all set to launch its superb sixth record.

End Of Dayz 009 is by the mysterious 30drop. His works are described by himself as Detroit techno inspired music mixed with repetitive european techno.
In this release "On The Next Day EP" we find on A side the terror history called "They Saw It Again" and the Jeroen Search remix that is a very danceable rhythmic techno with some cosmic stuff. The B side is for "Raw" where we can listen to some space bells. Here is the remix by an old friend of this label, P.E.A.R.L., bringing the track into a darker place.

Converse has honed his analog craft since the early days of the Midwest rave scene, absorbing lessons from luminaries like Claude Young and Traxx. His skill as a producer has been established with releases on labels such as Dark Entries, Fit Sound, and Obsolete Futures, and his prowess as a DJ has been witnessed on floors the world over.

On Take Parts, Converse peels away the layers of acidic gauze that have characterized much of his work, revealing his sharp grasp of dancefloor dynamics and DJ functionality. While the 808’s, 909’s, and 303’s are on full display, Converse does not indulge in retro-fetishism; he channels the future forward impulse of the originary rave ethos. Tracks like “Stroke” and “What You Have” pit seasick chords and analog squelch atop funky but unsettling loops. The flurry of 808 snares on “Measurement (Of What?)” nods towards both footwork and jungle, but feels ultimately planted in a world of Converse’s own. With the acid-electro masterpiece “Take Apart”, Converse implores us to both join him in this new world and reconfigure the one we’re living in now. The 6-tracks on Take Parts present a new focus for Converse, and will excite DJ’s and thrill dancers.

The Touch Infinity project involves the creation of works of art based on Spira and the way it is harmonized in modern art, an action with an emphasis on design and contemporary electronic music. We live in a spiral galaxy. The first sensation that a spiral shape gives is the image of evolution and the will to touch the infinity. Modern technology and binary code give us the ability to touch the infinity. With the use of modern technology, the music will be rendered in addition to vinyl and in shape and color in the form of a spiral ceramic vase.

The always-quality Lempuyang is back with a scorching pink vinyl that packs a deliciously deep dub techno punch. It is a collaboration between Hidden Sequence and Milly James that opens with the super smooth and aquatic 'Legends' which rolls along the ocean floor with sparse chords and alluring vocals drifting way up above the surface. The 'dub' strips them away and allows things to move even an even more heady manner while 'All I Need' has a little more drift but no less depth to it and a Paul Simmons Off Curve Re Rub brings upright drum kicks and a little extra skip in the beats to close out a heady EP.

Vessel Recordings Group is a new label from the United States and kicks off with Natural Rhythm aka the duo of Thomas White and Pete Williams. They have been working since the 90s on their own brand of house and as this EP shows it is stylish, rooted in tradition but full of contemporary designs. 'Jillybean' is raw, stripped back and perfect for backrooms. 'The Chase' is a slamming cut that pushes on with classic vocal samples twisted into something new, and great swing. 'Son Of Orange' is another lo-fi, high-class house sound with real weight and machine soul and 'Pocket Ops' closes out with dubby techno energy. A fantastic, no-frills EP to get this label underway.

The Rose Island is back with a stunning new EP, teaming up with the acclaimed artist Not A Headliner, known for his distinctive style and imaginative flair. Powerful and rhythmic techno influenced by the Detroit sound.

Nuron continues to make his mark on De:tuned with the long-awaited new 3-track EP 'Blanchimont'. Nurmad Jusat aka Nuron, one of the key figures from the golden era of 90s electronic music and UK techno, extends his legacy by swinging back into gear. On 'Blanchimont' Nuron combines his signature drum programming with uniquely lush and highly emotional synth arrangements. Futuristic aesthetics and mystic sounds to take over your senses. The harmonic research mentioned in "Late Hours" finally finds a more straightforward path, more defined but still wrapped in an aura of uncertainty, of mystery.
