Originally released in the summer of 2014 as a cassette by Baro Recordings, Songs Of Forgiveness is now available for the first time on LP in a limited edition of 500 copies via the New York imprint Pre-Echo. Composed by Cantu-Ledesma during his first winter after relocating to Brooklyn, NY, this suite of six discrete tracks are formed by colliding micro orbits of guitar, drum machine, and synth, all purposefully phasing in and out of sync, and painted with chords of ecstatic melancholica and tape hiss that typifies much of Cantu-Ledesma's work.

Lichter is the first piece in a new series of electroacoustic dub compositions by Mouse on Mars. It is a massive, lurching, up-tempo percussive epic - a long-haul runaway train that keeps switching tracks without ever losing sight of its destination. Like much of Mouse on Mars' output, Lichter deftly traverses a varied sonic landscape, encompassing elements of jazz, dub, krautrock juke and psychedelia.

Lichter incorporates trigger robots built by Sonic Robots' Moritz Simon Geist and features Andi Toma & Jan St. Werner's long time collaborator Dodo NKishi on percussion. The basic layers were produced with a feedback software called smrph, and were edited, arranged and used as a foundation for various live and studio improvisations. The 13min track, Lichter, is a concentration of these various layers. Lichter is also a highly visual piece, and performed live it employs a bespoke network of light-bulbs triggered by data derived from the sounds and pulses of the composition.

Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner have been recording and playing live as Mouse on Mars since 1993, and have released over a dozen albums. In 2014 the duo celebrated their 21st birthday with a curated festival at Berlin's HAU theatres, and an accompanying compilation which showcased the band's numerous collaborations.

The video for Lichter was created by Paul McDevitt and Jamie Lemoine.

They differ from the French song scenery with their electronic sounds inherited from the french touch, their love for funk and disco, and a hint of symphonic orchestra. If you listen to a track, you can hear the influences of the French artists Michel Legrand, Daft Punk, Gainsbourg or Air. The texts are intimate, their performance swings between elation and melancholy, with contrats with their energetic arrangements. Taking advantage of their art studies, they created the whole visual universe of the project. Their debut album in vinyle gathers 10 tracks written since the start of the project, with 2 covers of French writer and artist Boris Vian, French singer Georges Brassens in the style of the day. quick overview: Their first 2 singles ' Les Voiles ' and ' De la Vitesse à l'vresse ' released in 2014 & 2015 on Partyfine (french producer YUKSEK label) and got great press/radio in France (Vogue, Grazia, Grand Journal TV show, Konbini, France Inter playlist radio etc.) but we were also very surprised by the international pick up for songs sung in French ! Pharrell playlisted ' les Voiles ' on his Beats1 show, or Marc Jacobs tweeted it to his 5Millions followers for example. Les Voiles was also #1 on Hypemachine upon release.

The translucent, rainbow, and prismatic piece of currency looks the way Lionel's music sounds. This piece of polymer sparked a curiosity in Lionel, which inspired the development of a mysterious civilization centered around pure harmony. Years later, with this record, Lionel explores the idea alongside a new knowledge of Brunei, 'The Abode Of Peace.' This album uses lush, Islam-influenced pop music to spread harmonious qualities with the world, to ultimately benefit the human psyche & physiology.

'This album is an impression of Brunei at an immaculate state of being,' Lionel says. Despite its quality of life being ranked highly among Islamic nations, horrific laws exist to severely punish non-heteronormative behavior. 'For a place that masquerades as 'heaven on Earth,' we must expose such ugly hegemony, through the latent reflection of their most ultimate civilized potential.' Lyrically, the album is written mainly from the perspective of an incorporeal being from Xol, the gravity cluster orbiting the star Alnilam (the center of the Orion constellation), which represents purely harmonious patterns.

Brunei opens as if at the birth of a new galaxy with the cosmically tranquil 'Ion,' which seamlessly transitions to the insistent krautrock of 'Riddles Of The Sphinx.' That track's refrain, 'try to understand,' marks a universal struggle. Across the album, the songs use a process of Arabic quarter-tone vocal techniques, layered on top of stretched-out jazz chords and quick-driving beats. The center of Brunei is a treasure of aural delights. 'Celestial Gold's' full-bodied world flies around with a pillow of synthesizer sounds that move like clouds in the wind. Company Records label head and Toro Y Moi/Les Sins mastermind Chaz Bundick recorded 'Evol' at his Berkeley studio with Lionel and guitarist Ian Gibbs. 'I think we played every synthesizer that Chaz owns on that one song,' Lionel says, laughing. 'Voidless,' a Hawkwind-like improvisational track, was elevated with the help of Medicine's Brad Laner. The shoegaze icon added four-part vocal harmonies and a fuzzy synth part to complete the song.

Lionel wrote and recorded the entire album in one month. To compose, 'I get into a state of mind that is beyond control or knowing, and I let myself be free,' Lionel says. 'On this new album, I tried to take as many risks as possible to represent my mental architectural spaces that are inconceivably vast and ever-changing.' Undoubtedly, the tones of Brunei will continue to reverberate far beyond our hearing, traveling light years into the future - perhaps even arriving at Xol.

Repeated Viewing's soundtrack to the not totally sure if it's real or not' film of the same name slinks out of your speakers as if Badalamenti and Goblin had made sweet regretful love one night and created a baby so dark and brooding, only the 'Trv Synth Fr33ks' would take it in and raise it like wolves. Kid Flicks is the music project started by greek producer and songwriter Nickos Devisis. Highly inuenced by the bright side of contemporary athenian life, multiculturalism and the internet culture, Kid Flicks created a unique sound which draws from various genres and styles. From electronic to sample-based music to psych pop to world music, the album full of upbeat pop melodies, explosive percussion and greek, middle eastern and african music references. Kid Flicks' third album Kid Flicks' and first with an updated 3-piece line up, will be released by Klik Records in Greece and wordandsound in the rest of Europe on late June. On December 2015 they showcased at Glimps Festival in Belgium and their creative process and involvement in the athenian music scene were one of the subjects of CBC Arts documentary series Interrupt This Program". They currently work with Brooklyn-based PR agency Drunken Piano (Carpark, Yep Roc) and booker JJ Pallis (Boogarins).

Jimi Tenor has compiled a selection of afro jazz tracks that he has written and performed over the years with musicians Icelandic drummer, Helgi Svavar Helgason, Helsinki based guitarist/bassist and journalist Ilkka Mattila, legendary drummer Tony Allen, Cuban & Berlin based trumpeter Daniel Allen Oberto, Ethiopian/Finnish & Helsinki based percussionist Abdissa 'Mamba' Assefa (Itetune), Nigerian/German & Berlin based percussionist Akinola Famson, Helsinki based percussionist Mongo Aaltonen, American & Paris based spoken word artist/singer & painter Allonymous, Helsinki based flügelhornist Tero Lindberg, Finnish & Berlin based guitarist Kalle Kalima, Polish & Berlin based bassist Patrick Frankowski, British trombonist Hilary Jeffery and Ghanaian/German & Berlin based drummer Ekow Alabi Savage. Jimi Tenor, born Lassi Osmo Tapio Lehto in Lahti, Finland, who has been releasing recorded music for 30 years, plays several instruments as is his usual practice. He is credited for playing on the upcoming release Saxentric, acoustic guitar, acoustic piano, background vocals, bass kalimba, drums, drum programming, electric guitar, electric piano, flute, Hammond organ, Korg MS-20, Korg PolySix, Log-o-phone, Moog, organ, percussion, Photophone, plastic bongos, programming, shaker, synthesizers, tambourine, tenor saxophone, vocals and Walton organ.

It has been a whirlwind couple of years for transatlantic indie-pop quintet Night Flowers since these close friends from North England collided with Boston, Massachusetts born vocalist Sophia Pettit in London and began forming their irresistible brand of heart stirring, romantic pop.

Night Flowers have just finished up their first tour dates in Germany and Japan, to great aclaim and have now released this single, 'Glow in the Dark'. The single is available on a limited run of 300 glow in the dark 7" vinyl.

Night Flowers are currently working on their debut album. The album's four parts of lyrical songs, instrumentals and interludes reflect the beauty, horror, mundanity, wrong turns and tiny delights of life and the ongoing struggle to make sense of it all.

Brit Award-winner and Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer, music legend Rick Astley has left an indelible mark on pop-culture since his emergence into the limelight nearly thirty years ago. He has sold over 40 million records, had the UK's biggest selling single of 1987, is the first male solo artist to see his first eight singles reach the UK Top Ten, and in 2002, saw his "Greatest Hits" compilation album go gold. On his 7th album - and first studio record released in over a decade 50' (BMG), Astley returns to his musical roots with mighty force. He plays every instrument on the album and penned each track. His key influences and complex understanding of different musical genres are evident in his song writing, which draws from his life and inspirations. At times it's reflective and vulnerable, at others it's uplifting and progressive, but his distinctive, soulful voice remains familiar, enriched by the last decade of increasing time spent touring. Focus tracks on the new album include "Keep Singing", "I Like The Sun", "Angels On My Side" and "This Old House".

Lunapark is the trio of Burkhard Ballein, Klaus "Schlips" Gebauer, Reinhard "Zoppen" Benisch from Wuppertal, Germany. Formed in 1981 when the boys were dissatisfied with their surrounding musical environment. They packed their instruments and a cassette recorder and set off to create their own brand of Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW "New German Wave'). Their influences included The Beatles, Colloseum, Roxy Music, Frank Zappa as well as Sex Pistols, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, Blondie and The Cure. Gefangene Vögel' ('Prisoner Birds') is their debut album released by Intakt Records, Stuttgart in 1982. Utilizing a simple set up of guitar, bass, drums, drum-computer, Korg MS-10 and Korg MS-20 they recorded 10 tracks that make up the album. Songs bridge the Belgian-type industrial and cold sounds with NDW quirkiness. In the vein of Sad Lovers and Giants, and Schleimer K they blend post-punk and new wave music with electronic influences. All songs are sung in German with monotone vocals and epitomized the urban Zeitgeist of the Cold War. All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl comes housed in a replica of the original jacket design, which features a drawing of birds on a grid. There are 4 different color versions of the screen printed jacket: blue, yellow, magenta and turquoise. Each LP includes a copy of the double sided 11x11 insert that was included with the original pressing with lyrics and photos.

After a five-year hiatus, Canadian electronic music producers MSTRKRFT (Jesse F. Keeler & Al-P) are back.
Driven by distorted drum beats, hauntingly hypnotic synths and booming cinematic soul, OPERATOR immediately captivates.

It's probably the most accurate reflection of how we work on stage,' says Jesse. We had to be very creative with very few elements. It took time to figure that out.'

2011 was the last time we heard from MSTRKRFT with the release of the single Back in the USSA', following their Juno award-winning debut album The Looks in 2006. MSTRKRFT have released official remixes for everybody from Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue to Wolfmother, Justice and Bloc Party. 2009's Fist Of God boasted collaborations with the likes of John Legend, Ghostface Killah, E-40, N.O.R.E, Lil' Mo and more as it predicated an eventual crossover between hip-hop and electronic music on the horizon.

'Trust No Woman' is their debut album from ZYX (from then on they signed all publications with GRAF+ZYX) released in 1981 on the label RCA Musica. Recorded, mixed and mastered from March to August 1981 at their own Sun Moon & Stars Studio Vienna. They designed their short, immediate songs around a barrage of analogue synthsizers, rock-solid electronic beats and controlled, low-key vocals. It is an exceptional showcase of electro-pop, cold and mechanical robotic rhythms under a claustrophobic atmosphere. Songs are sung in English with a heavy German accent and lyrics resemble obscure, existentialist dialogues. Each song is infused with the spirit of hopeful discovery that accompanied the introduction of affordable home computers and synthesizers at that time. It is a album that advances the sounds set forth by The Human League, Cabaret Voltaire, Tuxedomoon and Yello. All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl comes housed in replica of the original jacket design, which features a photograph from a video still by ZYX. Each LP includes a copy of the double sided 11x11 full color insert that was included with the original pressing featuring photos and lyrics plus a postcard. ZYX may not be as revered as Kraftwerk, yet their work shares the technological melancholy that suffuses through the music of the men from Düsseldorf.

'Pigeonheart', the first new album from DM Stith since 2009's 'Heavy Ghost', is engrossed with ideas of transmutation and transfiguration and expands his brilliant hermetically sealed world with the help of producer Ben Hillier (Blur, Nadine Shah). Lanza's second album 'Oh No' is addressed to her own constant nervousness. The pressure of music making, which used to calm her nerves, has led to a whole new world of contingencies that stoke the anxiety mill. The exclamation 'Oh No', for Jessy, marks yet another incident of randomness interrupting her tranquillity. All of which seems at odds with the confidence and spontaneity of this second album as well as recent collaborations with the likes of Caribou, DJ Spinn and Morgan Geist and his Galleria project. Made in her hometown of Hamilton, Ontario, with production partner Jeremy Greenspan from Junior Boys, the plaintive, reverb drizzled mood of the first album has all but given away to a more direct, self-assured and joyful album. As with many artists whose hometown lie off the usual network of cultural hotspots, 'Oh No' is driven positively by the idea of making music that isn't inspired by where she lives. Instead, the album resonates more with the philosophy of experimental pop of Japanese 80s electro outfit Yellow Magic Orchestra and Jessy's breathless, pitched vocals are reminiscent of YMO collaborator Miharu Koshi. Playfully laced with cascading arpeggios, crispy drum machines and breezy songs, 'Oh No' has an infectious energy that has been brewing in her live shows since her first album. As Jessy says 'I want to make people feel good and I want to make myself feel good'. The album oscillates between the languid, coiled, arpeggiated slow jams of 'New Ogi', 'Going Somewhere', 'Begins', 'Could Be U', 'I Talk BB' and the low slung 808 groove of 'Vivica', where Jessy's vocal gymnastics run wild over minimal drums and synths, and the catchy upbeat boogie of 'VV Violence', 'Never Enough', 'Oh No' and the high point of 'It Means I Love You' which has a sparse addictive bounce with a pitched up vocal refrain and a nod to Shangaan electro. The trials of dealing with nervousness are also encrypted into the artwork, such as the plants that recur in the sleeve and videos. As Jessy remarked, "I became obsessed with surrounding myself with tropical plants. I've been convinced that the air quality in our house is slowly killing us. It might sound crazy but the plants have made a huge difference." Anxiety and botanical remedies or not, 'Oh No' is a bold second album from Jessy and a marked step forward for her sound. Catch her as she tours with Junior Boys in February, plays EU headline shows from May to June, and in July has a North American Tour.

 Ha! Ha! Ha! is the second album by British pop group Ultravox, at that time known as "Ultravox!" with an exclamation mark.

Palmistry is the project of London based musician Benjy Keating. A vocalist and producer with a singular vision and voice, Palmistry makes hybridized pop music that is both distinctly new and yet, like the best songwriting, sounds instantly familiar. As the producer, writer and performer of his debut LP, PAGAN is a succinct showcase of his holistic approach to contemporary pop, where melancholy and euphoria share equal space and sonic decisions resonate as much as the emotions that run through it. Beyond the music, Palmistry gives us a multi-layered experience - working alongside talented collaborators to build his own visual world through artwork, photography and film. PAGAN is the sum of Palmistry's experience and influence which, despite having its feet firmly placed in London, is global in its outlook. Elements of R&B, dancehall and more experimental electronic music combine forces with his enchanting voice and the vivid poetry of his songwriting. An open and sometimes vulnerable record, PAGAN is ultimately very human from the sorrow of Club Aso,' to the cynicism of L After L,' the consumerism of Beamer,' or the sensuality and sensitivity of Sweetness'. The title track Paigon' encapsulates the vibe of the album's totality and vision a minimalist offering with the club always in the back of the mind, and London in the forefront. Punctuated by three instrumentals, the record has a deep textural subtlety and maturity. The son of nondenominational church founders and pastors, Palmistry confesses to being an outsider in more ways than one to genre, to expectation, and to traditions of form and style. He is the singer, songwriter, producer, and mixer on the record, making PAGAN a uniquely rich and compelling body of work that draws you deeper into his creation

Pilotes' is the third release of the 7inch dedicated label No More Pop. By an obscure french synth pop band, Performance, this double pack brings together both rare and unreleased material from the early 80s. The double 7inch features the original version, a dub version, a remake of the song Sécurité, as well as the unreleased track Parfum du Temps. The package is rounded off by a pretty special remix of Orgue Electronique.

Pets Recordings hit their 59th release, handing the reigns to rising star Adam Port who presents a fresh update on '80s synthtronica, mixed with a smattering of gradual peak-time, bottom-heavy house structure. 'This Time' is the product of a new and fruitful relationship between Adam and vocalist Jennifer Touch, who grabbed Port's attention with her stand out vocals on the Nightstalker EP on Riotvan. The pair connected and began meeting for off the cuff, un-planned sessions at the Keinemusik studio in Stattbad, with Port bringing his knowledge of the dance-floor, Touch her 80's'esque new wave sound and influences. 'It's a very good flow with her' says Adam. 'We're speaking the same music language even when we have a different background". Pets bosses Catz 'n Dogz immediately asked to sign the track after hearing Adam play it out. Full of dark, new wave pop sensibilities and edgy, dance-floor nuance, the original's slow and meandering electronic drum rhythm - permeated by crisp, mechanical snares, cymbal flashes and a guitar-picked loop with deep bassline and chanting background vocal melodies - make way for Jennifer's haunting vocal delivery while melancholy synths drape the track during it's choral bridge. Adam then progressively notches up in tempo as marching beats help to drive the track towards the dance-floor. Sei A delivers a punchy, bassy remix - driven by a thick and pounding kick drum at it's core - while radiating, pulsing synth bass slowly melt into range, before a high tempo organ riff heralds a darker, techno leaning excursion into full force peak-time territory before brutalist saw wave bass lines bring the warehouse vibes on the drop.
