Limited edition white label of Soul Mekanik's remix of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Pleasuredome'.

This remix came about as when Danny & Kelvin were working in SARM studios with Trevor Horn on the most recent Robbie Williams record, the management there were working on the Frankie Goes to Hollywood 'Best of' and were commissioning remixes.

Being fans, Danny and Kelvin got right on it and made this very subtle rework. Mainly following the original version's structure and instrumentation, the changes are in the detail of the arrangement and a very deftly added dose of 'oomph' (technical term), turning a seminal record into a surefire dancefloor bomb. People go bonkers when this is played out.

Their remix ended up being finished a bit late (what with them being in the middle of working on Robbie's album) and not getting delivered on time, but, it is kind of brilliant. It's a shame to keep it locked up.

A bona fide classic this is an extended reworking of the lesser known Disco version - tweaked and prodded into a tune that works on peak time dancefloors just as well as an end of the night anthem. Brothers & Sisters!

First released in 1973, the original has been sampled by Hip Hop stalwarts Immortal Technique and Nas. This is a beautiful and blissed out version.

The Stevie Wonder classic reworked for the dancefloor from the original Blue Note release. Essential DJ track.

B2. João Donato - O Morro Não Tem Vez (Onur Engin Edit) (4:14)
In the '60s the great Brazilian pianist was being rejected by all nightclubs as a performer. Ahead of his time, his modern swinging piano was too strong rhythmically and excessively difficult to follow by other musicians, and customers complained about it as not danceable. He ran out of gigs and used to ask all nightclubs' owners to play for free, just to be available for anyone interested. Even then, he was only allowed to play after 4am, when most customers were gone. This rework is made staright for the 2010 dancefloor. Big.

Tornado Wallace is the alter ego of a certain Mr Lewie Day, hailing from Melbourne and having recently started making great waves following excellent releases on Murmur, 8bit and Herzlich. Tornado Wallace pushes down the deeper, Detroit-inspired route which is why he approached us here at Delusions with these very special tracks.

Originally released back in 1980 on Canada's Quality records, this slo-mo disco killer became a firm favourite on the Cosmic scene when DJs like Baldelli & Beppe Loda started playing it at 45, creating a wonderful deep hypnotic druggy groove that still sends crowds wild to this day.

Featuring atop of many DJs' wants list, this timeless classic is currently being hammered by such luminaries as Greg Wilson, DJ Harvey and any others lucky enough to have a copy. Essential stuff!

The 1st in four vinyl that will all feature tracks not available on either the cd or digital release of this comp & each part is strictly limited to 1000 copies & will not be repressed.

Both tracks are respectfully edited, lovingly re-mastered and cut loud at 45 RPM for maximum dance floor pleasure and DJ delight.

Sie fanden eine deutsch-italienische Produktionscrew, die sie in Studios in München und Bologna (Italien) holten.
