GHØSTKIDs Musik taucht tief ein in Dunkelheit und Aggression. Sie ist abstoßend und anziehend zugleich, sie ist hart, aber bewahrt sich dabei einen untrüglichen Sinn für eingängige Melodien.GHØSTKID ist das neue Alter-Ego von Sebastian ´Sushi´ Biesler (ex-Eskimo Callboy), der für die Verwirklichung dieses Projekts eine Gruppe gleichgesinnter Freunde um sich versammelte: Steve Joakim (Drums) aus Schweden sowie Danny Güldener (Gitarre) und Stanislaw Czywil (Bass), die beide bei To The Rats And Wolves aktiv waren. Alles begann, als Sushi im Oktober 2019 eine Gitarre in die Hand nahm und einen ersten Song schrieb. In dem Moment wurde ihm klar, dass ihm GHØSTKID im Blut steckt und eine Plattform brauchte. ´Ich bin bei dieser Sache von Anfang an meinem Herzen gefolgt´, erklärt Sushi. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hörte er Marilyn Manson, Fever 333 und Bring Me The Horizon, und aus dieser Inspiration entwickelte sich eine zukunftsweisende Im-weitesten-Sinne-Rockmusik, die Düsternis, Aggressivität und Rotzigkeit mit Pop-Affinität sowie Einflüssen aus New Metal, Trap, Industrial und Rock verbindet. Nachdem die Basis mit Co-Producer Phil Sunday gelegt worden war, wurde das selbstbetitelte Debütalbum vom namhaften Produzenten Sky van Hoff (Rammstein, Emigrate etc.) produziert. Bei den Studioaufnahmen bekam GHØSTKID Unterstützung von weiteren Freunden: Zu hören sind Marcus Bischoff von ihren Labelkollegen Heaven Shall Burn auf ´SUPERNØVA´ und Mille Petrozza auf ´CRØWN´. Zudem kann man sich auf zwei Versionen von ´THIS IS NØT HØLLYWØØD´ freuen - einmal mit Timi Hendrix und eine mit Johnny 3 Tears als Gast.Ein erste Headliningtournee ist für Frühjahr 2021 geplant

Born of Austin's underground musical melting pot; Glassing's 2017 debut album `Light and Death' erupted out of the famously genre-resistant scene. 35 minutes of harrowing blast beats, searing angular feedback and frontman/bassist Dustin Coffman's sandpaper screams that set out to redefine the idea of heavy music to better reflect increasingly heavy times. Two subsequent full-length releases, 2019's `Spotted Horse' and 2021's `Twin Dream', plus especially the band's last release, the eponymous two-track EP, `Dire and Sulk' paved way for the new longplayer. Wenn die Grenzen zwischen Oldschool Death Metal und den schwarzen Künsten geradezu ineinander fließen, dann ist meist eine ziegenhafte Gestalt mit involviert. So auch bei der Nürnberger Formation Goath, die uns seit ihrer Gründung 2015 quasi im Jahrestakt eine Veröffentlichung nach der anderen spendiert hat. Vor allem durch Gesang und die Riffstrukturen schaffen Goath hier klare Unterschiede, die aber eine willkommene Abwechslung darstellen.

2009 sees the verdict on Gorgoroth's trademark case after two years of dispute between Gaahl/King Ov Hell and Infernus for the rights of the band's name and logo. When ruled that Infernus was the owner, Gaahl and King Ov Hell formed God Seed, releasing one studio album in 2012. This Live At Wacken was recorded live in 2008, when the band used to play under the name Gorgoroth, with Ice Dale and Teloch on guitars and Nick Barker on drums as guest live musicians for this show. The album could not be released that year due to legal disputes. For the first time on vinyl, this edition comes in LP 140g with Gatefold Jacket, limited to 300 copies on Black vinyl and 200 copies on Transparent Yellow vinyl.

'PURGE' musically, amongst the many layers of dirt, revisits and updates the concepts explored on the 'PURE' album from 1992; 90's hip hop grooves mangled and put through the GODFLESH filter to create something that is still unique and futuristic in style.

Both minimal and maximal, with layer upon layer of filth and heaviness, Godflesh deliver alien grooves that swing whilst also retaining the psychedelic / bad trip edge that Godflesh has always obsessed over. This is, and always has been, feel bad music; the title alone 'PURGE' references directly how songwriter / creator Justin K Broadrick utilises this music as temporary relief from his diagnosed autism and PTSD, a journey he has been on since he began creating music and feeling alone and as an outsider in any 'scene' or 'group' from childhood and throughout his adulthood.

Godflesh gives him the means to express a lifetime of feeling misunderstood and overwhelmed by hyper sensitivity, the band being the vehicle to give him some sense of catharsis and transcendence; a way of communicating overload and constant disenchantment at the human condition, and man's abuse of power and the systems that chain us.

The album references the cycle of horror that man has always and will always put us through; those in positions of power revel in the infliction of pain and horror upon individuals, in the name of their religion, their power, their money, their flags....

Repress of the out of print 2nd reformation album, initially released in 2017. The duo of GODFLESH, Justin K Broadrick and Ben Green, augmented by Machines, are seen as a pivotal entity in the world of 'heavy' music, impacting entire cultures of heavy music since the bands inception in 1988. It is regarded as a cultural icon, and its impact can be felt across generations of 'heavy' music, both mainstream and underground. It is credited as being one of the first bands to cross old British industrial music with down tuned primitive minimal metal, accidentally pioneering the 'industrial metal' sound, yet the band has so much more to offer than what that term displays.

Formed in 1993 & hailing from Monaco, Godkiller was the vision of multiinstrumentalist & sole founding member, Duke Satanael, who between 1996 & 2000 released an EP & 2 studio albums under the Godkiller name, commencing with the black metal cult classic debut 'The Rebirth Of The Middle Ages'. Though initially more a death metal inspired act in the formative years, Godkiller quickly developed into a project fully engulfed in the spirit of 1990s black metal, bringing to mind acts like Emperor & Satyricon for the implementation of such strong atmospherics, though on later releases Godkiller incorporated more industrial & electronic elements into the compositions as part of its creative evolution. 'Deliverance' was Godkiller's second studio album & final release before the project was laid to rest & ventured into a more electronic & industrially metallic direction for what could be considered a more contemporary & expressive take on Godkiller's established brand of darkness.

Torger (Gesang), Stevo (Gitarre), The Walt (Bass) und Sidney (Schlagzeug), die bereits am Album "Poison Thorn" beteiligt waren, wurden 2022 durch Gitarrenzauberer Pepe (Ancient Curse, Sons Of Seasons) verstärkt und somit erneut komplettiert. Der vielseitig erfahrene "Newcomer" hat sowohl live als auch bei den Aufnahmen bereits einige Duftmarken setzen können.

British epic doom metallers Godthrymm (featuring members once
involved in such luminaries as My Dying Bride, Anathema, Vallenfyre, and
Solstice) return with their new album, Distortions
The follow- up to 2020's widely- lauded 'Reflections' shows the Halifax- based
quartet of Hamish Glencross (guitars/ vocals), Catherine Glencross (keyboards/
vocals), "Sasquatch" Bob Crolla (bass), and Shaun "Winter" Taylor-Steels (drums)
elegantly expanding upon their sound and vision. With tracks like "Follow Me,"
featuring former My Dying Bride compatriot Aaron Stainthorpe, "Echoes," and
"Devils," Distortions advances Godthrymm into the hallowed halls of the genre
they adore to death.
"I absolutely wanted to create a much more layered and complex arrangement in
the sound," says Godthrymm's Hamish Glencross. "Totally amping up the
contrasts to the extreme--the light shines brighter, and the darker depths are vast
trenches. There is a lot more harmony and melancholy for much of it, but also
some slab-heavy riffing, too. We wanted a total progression in the production and
more class and clarity in the sound, as opposed to Reflections, which could get
quite dense in tone."
Distortions is the second part of Glencross' Visions trilogy-- the third part,
Projections, is already in the works. Throughout its seven- track, hour- long
expanse, Godthrymm's sophomore effort delves deeper into the despondent
march of post-pandemic singles "Chasm" and "In Perpetuum," the latter released
exclusively on Decibel Magazine's Decibel Flexi Series in 2022. Glencross'
emotionally-charged vocals pair perfectly with his towering riffs and thoughtful,
crestfallen harmonies. The rhythmic foundation of Crolla and Taylor- Steels is
absolutely critical to Glencross' woebegone eclat. With Catherine Glencross'
angelic vocals and atmospheric keyboards stitched into the monumental "As
Titans," the granite-hard "Obsess and Regress," and the stirring "Pictures Remain,"
Distortions has it all.
The songwriting for Distortions began during the first lockdown. For an album
centered lyrically on grief, loss, regret, resolve, love, and determination, it's hard to
imagine something inexplicably heavy yet remarkably beautiful. Producer Andy
Hawkins (Hark, Grave Lines) was the perfect man for the job. Spread across The
Nave Studio in Leeds and Sasquatch Music Studio in Huddersfield, he captured
Godthrymm at their most menacing ("Unseen Unheard") and vulnerable ("Follow
Me"). The tones he extracted from Glencross, Crolla, and Taylor-Steels absolutely
crush, while the brighter moments (like Catherine Glencross' spell-binding vocals
on "Obsess and Regress") splinter Godthrymm's disheartened darkness in two.
Distortions was mastered by Mark Midgley (Doom, Hellkrusher) for Northern
Mastering Co.
