“Echo’s verse” forms no exception on that regard and continues along the same melancholic lines of his previous work. In the deepest hour of nightfall, an explosion occurs on the horizon. An explosion so bright that daylight shows, just for a moment.

For the brief second, the landscape is exposed, vulnerable, like the alb of a high priest. 4 figures stand on a stand of gold leaf, staring out into a slow sea of crude oil. Invoke a violence from the sea, they say. The light goes out, and stays out. She Luv It carries in them an energy similar to a ritual of violence that can be heard in the music of Northern Europe as well.

The recording quality is bright with vocals that chug through an almost cassette-like sound. Bent notes harken back to Northern European scenery of "woods" and "darkness", but where they waded into shit politics rather than better music, She Luv It begins on a sturdy foundation of technical skill and intentional sound. Invoke the violence in yourself, stare into the black sea, and scream until your throat bleeds. This is 'She Luv It'.

'Rodriguez', the enigmatic subject of the 2012 Academy Award®-winning documentary, Searching for Sugar Man, released two albums with Sussex Records, 1970’s Cold Fact and 1971’s Coming from Reality. Out of print on vinyl for several years, both albums are newly remastered by Alex Abrash at 'AA Mastering set for release on August 30 release by Sussex/UMC on CD and 180-gram black vinyl.
'Cold Fact' is the debut album from singer-songwriter Rodriguez.

It was released in the United States on the Sussex label in March 1970. In 1971 the album was released in South Africa by A&M Records.
In 1976, several thousand copies of Cold Fact were found in a New York warehouse and sold out in Australia in a few weeks. It went to Nr. 23 on the Australian album charts in 1978, staying on the charts for 55 weeks. Coming from Reality is the second and (to date) final studio album from singer and songwriter Rodriguez, originally released by Sussex Records in 1971.

The CD for Coming from Reality features three additional bonus tracks, originally recorded in 1972-’73 for a third album that was never completed. The tracks were co-produced by Dennis Coffey and Mike Theodore, who also co-produced Cold Fact.
The tracks were first issued in 2009 on the Light in the Attic CD release, and they were also featured on the Searching for Sugar Man soundtrack.

Long awaited Reissue on 180g Vinyl for Band Of Susans' 1994 LP, originally on 'Restless Records' from 1994.

Touring in support of their January 1987 4th album, All, based upon the positive life philosophy invented by band member Bill Stevenson and a close friend during a 1980 fishing trip, which Milo described as the effort of "doing the utmost, achieving the utmost... it's partly humor, but it's also an outlook on how to conduct your life: to not settle for some, to always go for All".

Playing a particularly lively set in St. Louis on the night of March 24th, the group blazed through classics from all of their early album as well as plenty from All. An amazing live set from one of the most unique groups to come out of the LA hardcore scene.

The INOCENTES 'Miseria E Fome E Mais' collects the full 'Miseria E Fome' LP, along with one unreleased track from the same session and the whole INOCENTES' set from the legendary "O Comeco Da Fim Do Mundo" Festival from 1982. Sourced from the original master tapes from 1983, fully remastered sound, this is an enhanced overdue tribute to one of most iconic names of Sao Paulo first wave of punk rock.

Long awaited reissue for the 'Garotos Do Suburbio' LP. Unavailable for many years on any format, this is the 1985 'Rotina' demos that resulted in the "Panico Em Sao Paulo" 12", one of the most acclaimed releases for these living legends of South American Punk. 14 tracks that, in the words of founding member Clemente Nascimiento, 'reflect the environment of a time full of new discoveries, that redefined the work of the band, a time when the only certainty we had was the passion for our music'.

THE RECORD to do true justice to the band and earn them the dues they richly deserve as one of the best ever R'n'R bands. This great compilation brings together rare stuff – recorded between 1973 and 1975! - from studio sessions and demos along with their official Rat singles and their fans favourite old songs: “Degenerate” or “You Smell Like Fish”.

Also included are demos like “You´Ve Heard These Chords Before” or “Planet Fever” on which the singer/songwriter Steve Cataldo and co. place themselves on the crucial dividing line between the best Stones and the Stooges. Gatefold sleeve, double page insert with liner notes notes, an interview with Steve Cataldo, as well as track by track notes provided by the great Steve himself.

After a short mental trip to Japan, Camisole is back in France with the reissue of Kangourou by Nuts & Co. Inspired by Dadaism, ancient tribes and natural life they self-produced and released this album in 1982. The result is a blend of experimental synth-pop combined with some german spoken word and french madness.

For sure "Semite" with its shamanic percussions will get your attention but other synth oddities includes "La Vie des Animaux" , "Auf Dem Lande" and "Kangourou" too. If you're more into french arty synth-pop "Dancing","Nuit de Chine" and "Der Spiegel" will definitely convinced you.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy®-winning singer and songwriter OZZY OSBOURNE has set Friday, February 21st as the release date for his new ORDINARY MAN album. Marking his first new solo music in almost 10 years, the album has been preceded by the release of two singles, the #1 rock track “Under The Graveyard,” which was followed by “Straight To Hell” featuring Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash (watch the video here). “It was a lot of fun to do though it’s a lot different from my other albums,” OZZY says of the album. “We recorded it quickly, which I haven’t done since the first Black Sabbath album. This made it a different process, which I actually enjoyed.” Recorded in Los Angeles, the album features producer Andrew Watt on guitars, Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses) on bass and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on drums. Beyond the core band, ORDINARY MAN, features a who’s-who of OZZY friends and collaborators including Elton John, Post Malone, and Tom Morello.
“It all just came together,” OZZY explains of the guest stars. “Slash is a dear friend of mine, as is Elton. When I was writing ‘Ordinary Man,’ it reminded me of an old Elton song and I said to Sharon, ‘I wonder if he would sing on it?’ We asked and lo and behold, he agreed and sings and play piano on the song.”

"In the late 1960's, Decca was playing to its strengths – mass marketing classical and easy-listening recordings just as it had been doing since the late 1920's. In April of 1968, Decca entered into a venture that would see its repertoire prominently displayed by non-specialist retailers, and after much resistance, it moved into the world of budget releases, with the beginning of its much loved ‘The World Of’ series in 1968.

The first album set out the series’ stall perfectly, focusing on one of the label’s biggest-selling artists. Its whole raison d’être was to drive sales of the artist’s repertoire: inviting consumers to dip in here and discover more, while the rear sleeve clearly offered the catalogue numbers of the parent albums.

Later, the World Of ’s would also become treasure troves for rarities and one-offs.nitially, the series stayed in the ‘Easy’ territory and by the end of ’69, 54 titles were available. Unsurprisingly, given the label’s heritage, classical repertoire would also become a mainstay.

Seattle rock band Candlebox found immediate success with the release of their self-titled debut album in July 1993. Certified platinum by the RIAA four times, it sold more than 4 million copies and peaked at No. 7 on Billboard’s album charts. The album features the singles “Change”, “You”, “Far Behind”, and “Cover Me”.

The tremendous radio, concert, and television success gained them a main-stage slot at Woodstock ‘94 and put Candlebox at the forefront of the 90's post-grunge scene.

Room Noises is the debut album by the American indie rock/pop band 'Eisley'. The album spawned three singles: “Memories”, “Telescope Eyes”, and “I Wasn’t Prepared”. Led by the inscrutably gnomic Derek Noy, Yorkshirebased outfit Jan Dukes de Grey briefly emerged in the late Sixties to deliver two of the rarest, most soughtafter albums in the British acid folk lexicon, their 1969 debut 'Sorcerers' and the extraordinary 'Mice And Rats In The Loft', here represented in all it's beauty.
One of the most mysterious and iconoclastic albums of the whole hippie era.

Bugger Off! picked up where its predecessor left off, and rampaged on from there. Covers of Zappa’s “Willy the Pimp” and the Kinks’ “You Really Got Me” might have seemed a little obvious, but both are battered down with such a glorious lack of finesse that it’s impossible to object — anybody familiar with, respectively, Juicy Lucy and the
Hammersmith Gorillas’ versions of the same songs will come in with at least a vague idea of what to expect, but that’s about it.

“Hoochie Coochie Man” is even more disheveled, and when John Peel’s liner notes reminisce on the group’s insistence on recording live, you can tell he’s not necessarily looking back with any fondness.
On one occasion, he suggested they do a little overdubbing.

The band’s response to his words would become the album’s title. Including “Mama Keep Your Big Mouth Shut” as bonus track taken from the 1972 John Peel Session.

Everything’s Alright Forever is the second album by English shoegaze band The Boo Radleys. The album peaked at number 55 in the UK Albums Chart. They created an intriguing sound with their fuzz pedals and guitar hooks. The depth of the songs and musical influences are incredible. From the epic intro of Spaniard, to perfect songs like Skyscraper, Does This Hurt? and Firesky, it shows how much they were involving as musicians.

Originally released in the UK on 15th February, 1980 ‘ALABAMA SONG’ was initially written as a poem by Bertolt Brecht in 1925 and was put to music by Kurt Weill for the 1927 play Little Mahogany.

David Bowie was a longstanding Brecht fan and included the song in the setlist for his 1978 Isolar II tour. The studio version of ‘ALABAMA SONG’ on the A-side of this release was recorded on July 2nd 1978, the day after the final show of the European leg of the tour, at Tony Visconti’s Good Earth Studios in Soho, London.

The AA-Side features two previously unreleased tracks; A rendition of “Heroes” track ‘JOE THE LION’ recorded at the soundcheck of the tour’s final Earls Court show on the 1st July 1978. Though rehearsed for the Isolar II tour ‘JOE THE LION’ would not make its live debut until the Serious Moonlight tour of 1983.

The second track on the AA-side is a live version of ‘ALABAMA SONG’ also recorded July 1st 1978—a different performance than the one featured on the live album Welcome To The Blackout.

The Deviants were an English rock group originally active in the late 1960's, and later as a project of the singer-songwriter and bandleader Mick Farren. The self-tiled third album was the beginning of the definite split between the band members.
This record shows how they were still rocking in a wonderful mix between psychedelic, garage, blues, and rock.
The overall vibe is amazing and it is a fascinating glimpse into the underground music of the late ‘60s. The album has aged quite well and is still a master of art.

"In popular imagination, the early 80s were dreadful. Thatcher and Reagan led the world on a diet of austerity, unemployment and depression. The Berlin Wall separated East from West. The Sex Pistols had broken up. In sum, the future was unsure. Belgium was no exception. While Punk had been declared dead by some, its spirit was still roaming in country parishes and city alleyways. As the Catholic bourgeoisie provided young people with few opportunities, music was an obvious pastime. Teenage hopes of starting a band and putting out a record were everywhere. Organized Pleasure and Satin Wall were two bands living the dream. In contrast to a thousand others, they left us sounding evidence. This split 7” gathers two tracks originally recorded in 1981. It was the first and only studio excursion for both groups. After some local gigs, the people involved moved on to other projects. While their music is illustrative for the era, their story is distinct. Same but different."
