Full of Hell Coagulated Bliss bio Full of Hell burst forth with incredible force from the small, dagger-shaped city of Ocean City, Maryland, 15 years ago. GATECREEPER return with their highly anticipated new album Deserted. The new album, a furious mix of snarling guitars and driving, rhythmic pummeling takes death metal from its 80's Floridian roots and 90's Swedish expansion straight into the here and now. In fact, the vanguard of death metal in 2019 can be found under Arizona’s searing sun. That’s where GATECREEPER members—Chase Mason, guitarist Eric Wagner, bassist Sean Mears, drummer Matt Arrebollo and guitarist Nate Garrett—make their homes. Of course, the band nodded to their scorching home state with the title of their 2016 full-length debut, Sonoran Depravation. The theme continues on Deserted, which boasts songs like “Sweltering Madness,” “Boiled Over” and the double-meaning title track. You can hear the results on “From The Ashes,” a crushing cut primed for the European festival circuit. Over on side two, “Boiled Over” fuses classic BOLT THROWER with the pulverizing power grooves of sludge titans CROWBAR. Album closer “Absence Of Light” upholds GATECREEPER's tradition of finishing their records with a deathly doom dirge. Deserted was recorded at Homewrecker Studios in Tucson, where GATECREEPER co-produced the album with engineer Ryan Bram. CONVERGE guitarist Kurt Ballou handled the mix at Godcity in Salem, MA, and Brad Boatright mastered the album at Audiosiege in Portland, OR. Dutch/American trio Gilded Form brings you the spiritual side of stoner & doom. Calm, introspective and minimal music for pondering and reflection. Inspired by giants like Earth, early Santana and Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, their single-song, self-titled debut lifts up its listeners onto divine rays of grandeur into infinity. Gilded form is founded by members of internationally acclaimed underground bands such as Desertion Trio, Dead Neanderthals, Many Arms, MNHM, Plague Organ, Cryptae and Imperial Cult, and consists of: Nick Millevoi (guitars), Otto Kokke (synthesizers) and Rene Aquarius (drums).

Suffering can be a borderline experience, opening doors to the divine. Canadian black-metal-outfit GIVRE has dedicated its fourth album to this concept, well known throughout Christian history: On "Le Cloitre" (engl. "The Cloister") the band continues its exploration of the atoning side of pain and the austere aspects of faith through music that goes all the way from elegiac elegance to disturbing outbursts. Even the band deals with Christianity, through a historic lense, they should not be understood as religious band in any way!

The group was founded back in 2010 in Rouyn-Noranda by David Caron-Proulx (Composition, guitars, keys), Jean-Lou David (research, vocals), and Mathieu Garon (bass) when they were just 16 years old. They self-produced a demo album, then moved away from their hometowns. David is now a composer for film and mixed media and Jean-Lou is a writer and historian. In October 2020, ten years after their first collaborative endeavors, they reunited and recorded two more albums: "Le Pressoir mystique" and "Destin Messianique".

The creation of "Le Cloitre" was a lengthy process. While most recordings were made right after "Destin Messianique" in 2021, extensive work was done over an extended period of time to add layers and perfect the album's concept. Each of the six songs corresponds to a holy woman from Christian history. The lyrics are taken directly from their writings or hagiography (an idealized biography), delving into their connection to the divine through suffering. The words are sometimes rearranged, but they are all direct citations without anything new added to them, from the symbolic poetry of Hildegard Von Bingen (1098-1179) to the disturbing and factual depictions of Marthe Robin (1902-1981).

The compositions vary to reflect these different perspectives: sometimes dark and eerie, other times blissful or sorrowful. Therefore, a crucial addition to the album's atmosphere was the inclusion of female vocal performances. Additionally, samples from the French film "Le dialogue des Carmelites" from 1959 are incorporated. Excerpts of a piece by Hildegard von Bingen are used in the song dedicated to her. The album was recorded in the band members'home studios. Mixing and mastering were done by long-time-collaborator Gael Poisson-Lemay (Gris, Sombre Forets, Miserere Luminis), who also contributed guitars to the song about Marthe Robin. Vinyl mastering was done by Greg Chandler (Esoteric) at Priory Recording Studios.

GLACIAL TOMB are set to leave their mark on 2024 as they prepare for the release of their second full length studio album, Lightless Expanse. The Denver, CO trio have embraced the foundations of sludge-corrupted death and black metal from their debut album while leveling up instrumental technicality and nuanced song writing. Glacial Tomb’s unique blend of “sludge-corrupted blackened death metal” sets them apart from the bulk of modern extreme metal outfits. Featuring Ben Hutcherson of Khemmis on guitar and lead vocals, the group has made a name for itself as a devastating force whose releases have received critical acclaim. Careening from hardcore-tinged death plod to full-on D-beats to a cavernous blackened grind with a nitro tank of blasts, Denver's Glacial Tomb, deliver the goods with their Prosthetic Records Debut, Lightless Expanse.

With a world in ruins, there comes a new sun. This is the evolution which "TAL" is all about. Intense and relentless, "TAL" is an immersive experience through sonic landscapes and contrasting atmospheres. On its third full length, GLARE OF THE SUN combine orchestral layers with heavy guitars and vocals, creating an emotional listening experience with lots of dynamics and details to discover. Guest vocals are provided by J.J. (Harakiri For The Sky, Karg) and Maffi (Collapse7, ex-Pungent Stench).

Following the original, digital only, release of Goat's score for 'The Gallows Pole' TV series, we are now thrilled to announce an expanded, ltd edition vinyl version, which will be released as part of Record Store Day 2024. 'The Gallows Pole' is a three-part Element Pictures production, written and directed by Shane Meadows which was aired in the UK on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer. This new vinyl version of the 'The Gallows Pole: Original Score' differs from the previous digital release as it now only features the music which was specifically written for the series itself - it doesn't include the three, previously released back catalogue tracks. Instead, this vinyl edition contains three 'unused/unreleased' tracks: 'Goat Witch', 'Timeless Awareness' and 'Kampsång (Instrumental)'. These tracks have not, up-to-now, been heard by anyone apart from Shane Meadows himself. The themes and imagery of Benjamin Myers' source novel are the perfect fit for Goat's mystical, pagan aesthetic. The story, based in rural 18th century Yorkshire, tells a fictionalised, psychedelic tale based on the true story of David Hartley and the Cragg Vale Coiners, which became the biggest fraud in British history. Rather than 'writing to picture' in the traditional way, Goat approached the creative process differently, explaining: "In the beginning, we would get inspiration just through reading the book, trying to get a sense of its vibration and then translate that into music, with passages from the book as a springboard for the initial jams." Goat were already fans of Meadows' work, in particular 'Dead Man's Shoes' and the various iterations of 'This Is England', and understood the importance of music to him, noting that: "Music is a central part to everything Shane has created" and describing the opportunity as a "blessing" when they were approached about the project. Working on the score for 'The Gallows Pole' also provided an ongoing inspiration for Goat, resulting in the germs of music that formed the bands most recent album, the critically acclaimed 'Medicine'. "Although it may seem an abstract or unorthodox way to work with film, a lot of interesting new ideas and music came out of those sessions that went beyond just the score." said the band. Sometimes, the results of musical exploration are best heard (and seen). As Goat themselves conclude, "music is never easily explained with words". 'The Gallows Pole: Original Score' is ltd to only 3,000 copies worldwide - the package comes as a colour vinyl LP + 7" and is housed in a special gatefold sleeve.

God Macabre gründeten sich Ende der 80er Jahre unter dem Namen Macabre End. 1991 änderten sie ihren Namen in God Macabre und
veröffentlichten einen Song für die Pantalgia-Compilation und ein Album über das kleine deutsche Label Mangled Beyond Recognition Records, bevor
sie sich auflösten. Ursprünglich in 1993 veröffentlicht, wurde "The Winterlong" 1991 in den legendären Sunlight Studios in Stockholm aufgenommen
und von Tomas Skogsberg (Amorphis, At The Gates, Entombed) produziert. Die Wiederveröffentlichung von "The Winterlong", die nun vollständig
remastered und wieder erhältlich ist, enthält außerdem vier Bonus-Tracks, darunter das ursprüngliche 7"-Demo der Band aus dem Jahr 1990 sowie
den bisher unveröffentlichten Track "Life's Verge", die erste neue GodMacabre-Aufnahme seit über 20 Jahren.

Graceless is already a legendary name in the Dutch metal history, and “Shadowlands” was their cult debut album from 2017. With ex-members of bands like Asphyx and Soulburn this experienced old school doomed death metal band, from Leiden and surroundings, immediately made a huge impact. “Shadowlands” still sounds thick and raw, with mighty riffs and fierce solos. It’s a great deal of heaviness, somewhat sludgy and even psychedelic, with doom, ferocity and melody.

Finland's GRAVETAKER are a duo of Lunatik and Atavistic Mouth. Taking inspiration from Soulside Journey-era Darkthrone and Katharsis among other things, the band drag death metal back to its ambitious and obscure roots with their first recording, Sheer Lunacy.
