P.E.A.R.L. is back on his own Falling Ethics Records with four lethal cuts of percussive techno. After a short hiatus for the label, a period that was used for launching the new sub label Moral Standards, it's now the second release this year that marks the comeback of the main imprint and the label owner himself. His 'Hand Over Fist' EP brings four pounding techno jams, powerful and drifting at first with a deeper impact coming from the detailed excellence.

The third in Greg Wilson’s 12 inch DJ series of GW Edits features two uptempo mid-‘70s disco cuts by the Mighty Clouds Of Joy and Vicki Sue Robinson, the latter a huge tune back then, the former very much slept on, but sounding every inch a classic. Reworked with Ché Wilson, following on from last year’s acclaimed remix of Gabriels ‘Love And Hate In A Different Time’, ‘Mighty Cloud’ and ‘The Turnaround’ guarantee full-on dancefloor satisfaction.

A continuation of the extensive research project initiated last year between Sound Metaphors, Transmigration and surviving eye-witness/historian Ray Castle. An in depth analysis of the dancefloor landscape that developed in Goa during the 80s' and early 90's well before "Trance" became the unfortunate dirty word it is today. Before "trance" was even a genre, Goa was brewing a scene with unparalleled aesthetics, with a constant influx of dedicated collectors and DJs coming and going to this tropical underground dancefloor haven, filtering through vast amounts of emerging electronic music of the times and distilling only the finest of "Special Goa Music". Here is another compilation of our chosen most impactful tracks that would have been soundtrack to a very special and pure moment of freedom in dancefloor culture before the bastardisation of what we now know as "Goa Trance". A highly sought after selection of New Beat, Proto Techno, early Progressive/Trance, Industrial, EBM and House Music. Featuring photographs of the events presented in a double LP gatefold with poster and liner notes by Ray Castle himself. Re-mastered at Manmade mastering in Berlin. Although one could imagine that by 1993 any Italo Disco nuances would have been vanquished from sophisticated Italian production setups of the time, it is hard to ignore its presence in this particular work of Italian DJ and producer Gianpiero Pacetti. Much more so than in the work of his contemporaries at the time who would have shifted into full on early progressive trance in pursuit of novelty. Resulting in a refreshingly playful exploration of melodic themes, an aesthetic only to be heard again more than 10 years later with Dutch works like Alden Tyrell. With exception of Alvorada which distinguished itself as completely detached from any of the previously mentioned influences, diving deep into percussive samba elements adjoined by alluring arpeggios and other subtle melodic ornaments characteristic of early progressive trancey movements of the time. Includes new remix of “Alvorada” by Berlin's E-Talking. Remastered with new artwork.

Next up on Subterranean Odyssey is Braik with Los Dos Caminos. Hailing from Montevideo, Uruguay he shows his versatility and talent as a producer with another well rounded 4 track EP. It has been getting plenty of support and plaudits from top artists before release and will no doubt continue to do so in the coming months. Artwork design by Irene.av.

2026 Repress

The inherently precise forward movement of Swiss duo QZB continues apace as they deliver their most accomplished music yet. From the impressive cinematics and dancefloor blows of "Tech Priest" and "Underneath", QZB push that much further into the experimental tempo excursions of title track "Delirium" until they fire back up into the future funk of "Spez", collaborating with new name IHR.

Also included is the VIP of "Take It All" ft. Charli Brix, the title track of their memorable EP from Critical last year.

Double LP compilation featuring Italian dancefloor music from the end of the Afro/Cosmic scene to the beginning of the Italian Rave era, between 1987 and 1994.

Stunning bit of research by Andrea Dallera (Dualismo Sound) and Gabriele Casiraghi who've been meticulously digging Italian bins. After endless sifting through this crucial time in Italian dance floor music, we are presented with their final distillation of this transitory period between 80's afro cosmic and Italo's peak into early 90's rave and Italo house era. In their words: “The whole concept was born as we started to find records that were into a kind of hybrid zone that was clearly pre-announcing some of the huge musical changes brought by the 90’s. The sound at play can be understood as looking closely to Belgian New Beat, Uk's Acid House and German early Techno but still connected with some dynamics of the ‘80s sounds: lashing snares and catchy melodic phrases joined by filthy acid bass lines, highly compressed kicks and 'World music' samples are just some of the most recurring elements.”

Hands down mandatory for any dance floor oriented record collection.

Side A: Parallel Action 'Air' In a word.. DRUMS! Parallel Actions debut on SSR opens with this Jazz fuelled epic. The track has a real 'live session' feel with some insane drum editing. An eastern flavour compliments the cinematic overtones of this piece perfectly. A real 'Lights on' end of the night tune for sure.

Side B: ScanOne 'Unity' This time it's the turn of Parallel Actions alter ego 'ScanOne' In many respect's this is a remix of 'Air' A beautiful, rolling, atmospheric slice of Drum & Bass that encapsulates all the qualities of side A but a more peak time tempo.

Forest Drive West returns to Livity Sound with the 'Dualism' EP, a tour de force of stripped dub aesthetics and swirling psychedelic rhythms.

One of the finest breakthrough UK producers of recent years, in a short space of time Forest Drive West has created an enviable catalogue across labels such as Livity Sound, Rupture, Echocord, Whities and Mantis. This new EP marks some of his best work to date.

The final track on the EP, 'Scorpion', features Melbourne based percussionist Lucky Pereira whose frenetic but tightly locked drums add a fizzing energy to Forest Drive West's deep atmospheric rhythm track.

Livity Sound is a label set up by Peverelist in 2011 as a vehicle for a raw and exploratory strain of UK techno, rooted in the heritage of UK dance music and sound system culture. It has since become one of the UK's foremost protagonists for cutting edge underground electronic music.

Toronto's newest vinyl label, Afalinas, proudly presents its debut EP, crafted by the talented Olekhar. Known for his Ukrainian roots and extensive DJ experience, Olekhar delivers four dance-floor ready tracks. The Fin Groove EP kicks off with "API Call," hitting the perfect blend of tech funk with trancy sequences and flowing tension. Up next is the breaks track "Squat Funk," infused with vibrant electro funk and minimal elements. On the flip side, the dance-floor killer "Bowser's Castle" is sure to elicit maximum stank face with its funky lead, gated acid energy, and robotic vocoder synth, before closing with "WLB," a '90s-influenced breaks track that wraps the package up nicely. Something classy for all occasions.

Kharkiv born artists Komponente & Kurilo have been an integral part of the local scene in the past years both as DJs, Live-Act and Producers.

Now further apart since the beginning of the war they are still united in music and we are happy to finally share this EP with which was originally conceived when both artists were still Kharkiv based during the pandemic.

Kurilo has since made the journey to the New York via Berlin in recent months. While Komponente took refuge in Kyiv for some time after having sat out most of the fighting in and around Kharkiv while lending a helping hand to families and elders who couldn't manage or didn't have the means to leave the city when russia attacked.

At this point we are just happy and thankful to have both of them still with us and to be able to finally get this EP out which by now seems to have travelled from a past life to us in the here and now.

Pandemics or War this is Electronic Music charged with pure emotions produced during one crisis, released during the next and we will still dance to it during whatever comes next!

Cocoon Recordings' next 12” vinyl comes from a well-known face. No introduction needed as nobody less than Gregor Tresher once again delivers a superb and surprising pair of tracks.

“Black Halo” is down-the-line and perhaps one of the catchiest tracks by Gregor Tresher.
The wobbling driving bassline builds up a rising tension that increases through the vast, detuned, and powerful string parts appearing to extend out to light years, reaching far beyond. Zaps drive the rhythm forward while rushing cymbals push the groove and weld everything together to absolute unity. For Gregor, techno and club culture have certain transcendental qualities, “Black Halo” is concerned with these sentiments and tells an ambivalent story. The onset of bliss oscillates between melancholy and hope, making it an exuberant roller coaster of emotions. A classic Gregor Tresher track, which perfectly represents Gregor’s signature sound!

“Phantom Dancer” literally pulls you onto the dance floor. Discharging beats, which hit you heavily but pleasant. The atmosphere violently evolves with a twisted noise-like signal sound and gets even more brute through the low-pitched filter vocals. An exceptionally deep techno production by Gregor Tresher, which will definitely come to full fruition in the clubs at peak time.

2026 Repress

Melbourne’s DJ Ali is up next on Blue Hour Music with a powerful EP of fast percussive tribal groovers recorded live over multiple hardware sessions. ‘Interceptor’ kicks off the record with energising and rolling momentum laced in echoes of shamanic ritual. ‘Paradox Cell’ maintains the tension with a stripped back and pumping drum track enhanced by repeating tones and swirling winds that suddenly take over. On the flip ‘Nightwatch’ feels even more immersive, tunnelling down into hypnotic chambers where a voice guides and pulls the listener through a lucid void. ’Regeneration’ rounds up the record with an uplifting journey that begins to unfold with a series of shifting layers and hints of colour beneath a haze of euphoria.

Making his debut on Gated, Sweden’s Sean Dixon serves up four deep and spacey – but always warm and funky – house tracks.

The Final Chapter label boss kicks off the Detroit-influenced EP with title track The Clock, which partners driving bass with a touch of detuned piano and well-timed drops to ignite any dancefloor.

A2 track Resistance takes things in a heads-down direction, with subtle Eastern influences in the melodies and breathy vocal samples.

The B-side’s Kairo Express combines bleep influences with piano loops and that ever-present bumping bass to cosmic effect, while closer When Dawn Breaks sees Dixon collaborate with Bohm for an emotive Mr. Fingers-infuenced end-of-the-night breakbeat roller.

Studio Barnhus presents ARN4L2, a producer from Cartagena, who debuts on the Stockholm label with the striking EP TIERRA BOMBA, a record built from the fractured memory of an island in the
Colombian Caribbean, understood as a surface in motion.
The project draws on tools present in the early development of the Champeta genre – the Yamaha RY30 drum machine, the Yamaha DD-14 drum pad, and the Pyramid mixer – alongside percussive
gestures and guitars characteristic of the style. On songs like the effortlessly bouncy title track and the gaita-laced curveball BULLA, featuring the characteristic melodic flute of the region, ARN4L2’s instinct for propulsion and detail comes into focus, while vocal tracks like the energetic closer LA ÑAPA integrate the artist’s voice as texture, without hierarchy or center.
TIERRA BOMBA becomes a point of convergence, where technology, sonic practices, and fragments of local popular culture meet in the present tense. Released through Studio Barnhus on
12'' vinyl and all digital platforms on March 13.

We are delighted to announce three releases by this legendary producer as part on his own TRILOGY series!

Seefeel sind mit ihrem ersten Album seit fünfzehn Jahren zurück – einer wunderschönen, verträumten und entrückten Sammlung fragmentierter Melodien und ätherischer Klangtexturen.

In gewisser Weise kann man dieses Album als Seefeels "Dub"-Album betrachten: Die täuschend wolkenartigen Arrangements von Mark Clifford wirken bei geringer Lautstärke fast wie Ambient, doch über eine gute Anlage kommen der wuchtige Bass und der gekonnte Einsatz von Effekten deutlicher zum Vorschein und verändern die Wahrnehmung von Zeit und Klangort. Wie immer bei Seefeel driftet das Album jedoch nie zu weit in kalten Experimentalismus oder synthetische Klangfarben ab. Der stark bearbeitete Gesang von Sarah Peacock verleiht den Stücken eine wichtige menschliche Note, während bearbeitete Gitarrenloops Melodiefragmente durch die Hallfahnen schweben lassen.

Da die Band lange Zeit als Schnittpunkt zwischen elektronischer Musik und experimenteller Gitarrenmusik wahrgenommen wurde, wurde sie während ihrer Anfangszeit oft übersehen, da ihre Musik keiner der beiden Szenen sofort zugeordnet werden konnte. Im Laufe der Jahre erwies sich diese Verschmelzung der Genregrenzen jedoch zunehmend als prophetisch für die zukünftige musikalische Entwicklung. Seefeel schufen sich einen Musikkatalog, der im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Bands nicht so schnell gealtert ist. A shared studio session in Detroit led to this focused techno collaboration between heavyweight talents Luke Hess and Thor. Recorded over several intense days inside the DeepLabs studio, the EP reflects a meeting of two distinct approaches. Hess brings the warm, soulful pulse long associated with Detroit techno, while Thor contributes a stripped-back minimal sensibility shaped by his Icelandic roots. Analogue machines and rare samples give the music a tactile edge and form the crisp but deep drive of 'Induction' to the subtly uplift and smoky soul of 'Samruni'. This is a restrained yet powerful record.

Following the release of Doble Vida , on which they flirted with North American influences, Gustavo Cerati recorded the demos for Cancion Animal in his flat, drawing inspiration from Argentinian rock bands of the 1970s, such as Pescado Rabioso, Vox Dei and Color Humano. The album topped the Argentinian album chart, and the single "De Musica Ligera" also made an impact, being regarded as an anthem of Latin rock and rock en espanol. The song continues to gain new fans daily and has amassed 700 million streams on Spotify to date. This makes it the band's most streamed song. All of this makes Cancion Animal an essential cornerstone album in Argentinian rock culture. Between Faith and Noiz represents the exact point where faith and inner chaos coexist.
It's an introspective journey toward the center of the mind: the space where thought becomes distorted, where sound turns into a reflection of doubt, where faith is tested within one's own noise.

Noiz symbolizes that internal, mental, and emotional noise that distorts reality - the voices, the interference, the overload of stimuli.
Faith, on the other hand, is the thread that keeps direction, the spark that survives when everything vibrates and collapses.

The EP portrays that invisible struggle between believing and falling apart, between the silence that soothes and the noise that purifies.
Each track acts as a stage of that journey: the oath (Faith and Oath), the wound (Ulcerate), the essence (Oxeo), the connection (Captures Spirits), and finally, the release (Noiz).

It's not about finding faith outside, but rebuilding it from within the noise.
