,Enigma" ist das zweite Studioalbum von Kira Roessler (Black Flag, dos). Nach ihrem Solo-Debüt von 2021 baut das Album ihren minimalistischen, bassbetonten Sound weiter aus und verbindet karge Arrangements mit einer zurückhaltenden emotionalen Intensität. Dieses Album braucht keinen Anlauf und keine Vorrede. Von Sekunde eins an ist es da. Es türmt sich auf, überlebensgroß und mit einer nahezu existenziellen Dringlichkeit. "Einmal mehr mit Dir gegen die Furcht" ist das sechste Studiowerk der Berliner Band Klez.e. Es ist von der düsteren Ahnung getrieben, dass da draußen gerade etwas kippt, und es setzt dieser Bedrohungslage etwas entgegen. Klez.e, das sind fast 25 Jahre nach der Bandgründung: Tobias Siebert (Gesang, Gitarre), Daniel Moheit (Synthesizer, Bass) und Filip Pampuch (Schlagzeug, Percussion). Waren die Vorgänger "Erregung" (2023) und "Desintegration" (2017) von einer grimmigen Düsterheit geprägt, ist diese Trostlosigkeit einer bislang ungehörten musikalischen Luftigkeit gewichen. Auf diesem Tonträger mit dem für "KrawallBrüder" eher ungewöhnlichen Namen „Stories of our life“ erwarten Euch 10 Songs, darunter einige der größten Hits der KB-Ära – komplett neu interpretiert in englischer Sprache.

Die Songtexte wurden von "Tim Steinfort" (Haymaker/Discharger) standesgemäß ins Englische übersetzt und von den Brüdern komplett neu eingesungen, wodurch die Songs eine ganz eigene, frische Atmosphäre bekommen, ohne ihre ursprüngliche Kraft zu verlieren.

Ein neues Kapitel in der Geschichte der vier Jungs aus dem Saarland? Wohl eher nicht! Dafür aber die logische Konsequenz auf die inzwischen auch international wachsende Fangemeinde.

That voice belonged to Mahalia Jackson, King's close friend and one of the most revered gospel singers of the 20th century - Glorious Mahalia, a visionary tribute to Jackson's life by the internationally renowned Kronos Quartet, uses that moment as a springboard to explore the depth of Jackson's musical craft and its impact on the Civil Rights Movement, including her relationship with Clarence Jones and Studs Terkel, other luminaries of the time

Kronstad 23 returns with Dodehavet, the Norwegian quartet"s third album and first release on Batov Records. Continuing their instinctive, analogue-led approach, the record sits between cinematic jazz and psychedelic rock, threaded with Scandinavian folk and wider global influences. Recorded live to tape with minimal preparation and no modern studio intervention, Dodehavet captures a band working on feel, interaction and momentum rather than polish or precision.

On her second EP "Reality Check", Kuoko continues to make her way and search for her own answers. On the follow-up to her debut "Lost Woods", her electro-pop sound remains mystical and spherical, but, as the title implies, this project sees the Hamburg-based music producer deal with a number of quite tangible, personal and social topics. On songs like "Floating" or "Hiding in the Dark" she reminds us to follow our guts despite the ever- increasing pressures of society and technology . Despite the heavy undertone, the atmosphere remains positive all throughout the EP as Kuoko"s crystal-clear voice floats through the elaborate, ethereal soundscapes that she created. After putting out her debut EP in 2018, playing several live shows - three of them at the Reeperbahnfestival - and winning a local award for emerging artists (Krach + Getöse), the young multi- talented artist now invites us to check out her latest work. Accept this invitation and give it a listen. It"s definitely worth it.

After two EP releases and a few millions streams later, Hamburg based songwriter, producer and visual artist KUOKO is about to drop her debut self-titled album. Released via Kabul Fire Records this album is brimming with energy and purpose, the singles such as Perfect Girl and Strong Girls Don"t Cry see KUOKO channeling her frustrations with society"s demands of women, and the impact that it can have on them. As a Vietnamese-German woman KUOKO is claiming her own place in an industry that often doesn"t represent women in the complex and fluid ways in which they actually exist and create music - self-taught, conceptual, ambitious.

Singer-Songwriter Kurt Vile meldet sich mit seinem zehnten Album zurück – dem dritten bei Verve Records.
Der Titel ist eine Liebeserklärung an seine Heimatstadt, in der er nach wie vor lebt und einen Großteil seiner
Musik aufnimmt. Stilistisch bewegt sich Vile zwischen Indie-Rock, Folk und psychedelisch angehauchtem
Lo-Fi. Bekannt wurde er zunächst als Mitglied von The War on Drugs, bevor er sich erfolgreich als Solokünstler etablierte. Seine Songs wirken oft wie lose Gedankensplitter, getragen von repetitiven Gitarrenfiguren
und seiner entspannt-nasalen Stimme.
Musikalisch knüpft “Philadelphia’s been good to me“ an Viles charakteristischen Sound an: klirrende
Gitarren, hypnotische Passagen und Texte, die zwischen rau und melancholisch pendeln. Dabei zeigt sich
ein Künstler, der sich trotz langjähriger Karriere eine bemerkenswerte Eigenständigkeit bewahrt hat. Vile
selbst versteht das Album als Rückbesinnung – entstanden größtenteils im eigenen Studio und geprägt von
einem warmen, unmittelbaren Klangbild.

DMV-born rapper and producer kuru is already a veteran among their contemporaries. Spurred by the online renaissance that accompanied the pandemic, they began to foster a cult following while in high school, their Soundcloud releases leading to production work with artists such as Black Kray and Destroy Lonely. Over the past few years, as Kuru began to prioritize their own voice, they prioritized their solo endeavors. Growing up in Maryland, kuru was inspired as much by the work of Future, Hikaru Utada, Yuyoyuppe, and the sounds of Japanese math rock as he was by his native DMV’s rap scene. He first began making music in 2019, garnering buzz with early tracks like “clueless”, “typo” (4M Streams), and “atmosphere” (9M+ Streams) — cuts brimming with the catchiness you’d expect out of a mainstream pop hit, but uncharacteristic of the internet rap landscape at the time.

The forthcoming sophomore album is a summation of all of kuru’s work in both electronic and hip-hop. It’s the artist’s most focused effort to date, and touts credits from Lucy Bedroque, frequent collaborator xaviersobased, and a rolodex of Soundcloud’s most cutting-edge producers. “Backstage Hologram” ties together a mosaic of the current internet underground’s landscape with a veneer of dusky futurism, and panoramic wide post-production.

Acclaimed composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, Kutiman and psych-soul singer/musician Dekel reunite for a stunning showcase of lush modern grooves on album “Hope”.

Long-time collaborators, the duo present an album that is a masterclass in heartwarming, positive cinematic soul, contemporary jazz, deep grooves and rich, lush psychedelia. KOIZUMIX PRODUCTION, a collaborative project between Kyoko Koizumi who worked under a different name in the 1990s and club culture artists and creators,
is finally being released in analog format. These two works, now difficult to obtain, are making their long awaited debut on vinyl.

The release is a complete analog version of the 1998 CD, which could be considered a KOIZUMIX PRODUCTION remix best-of.
It includes all tracks from the original CD, plus additional remixes that were previously available only on vinyl, compiled into a 2-disc set titled “89–99 COLLECTION”.
