London's underground upstart D'Monk opens proceedings on the A side with two new cuts showcasing his raw and intuitive approach to production with an innate sense of swing. His grooves are literally steaming from the first bar. You can feel the condensation of bodies in the room, feel the bass rattling the building and feel hips grinding to the syncopation.

The flip side features long-time Berlin resident and currently Sydney-based Frank Dasent. Don't be fooled by this cat's lo-key approach to releasing music. Upon further research one can see that Dasent has been behind the scenes on many productions spanning the world of jazz, R&B and dance music, as well as building his own catalogue of soulful and electro-inspired dance music.

Cult reissue label Sticky Buttons returns with ‘Sweet Edits’, their first official foray into dancefloor edits featuring 4 remixes of Nigerian boogie legend Dizzy K by a hand picked set of superstar producers specially designed to get the party moving.

Starting with a bang, the A Side features a double hit of remixes to Dizzy K’s 80’s sleeper hit “Afrikan Jamboree”. First up is Clive From Accounts, frequent contributor to Razor-N-Tape and hot off the heels of his 2025 debut full length LP, Clive’s edit has gifted us a complete foot stomper, filled with popping synths and squelchy baselines the track has already been getting big plays by the likes of Optimo over the past 18 months. On track A2, well known dance floor magician Lipelis takes the reins, creating his Disco Dub version, expertly layering traditional african drums and vocal loops from the original to build a wonky club track laden with energy and soul as come to be expected from the artist.

Over on the B Side, South London based duo Make A Dance (M.A.D) take the formula from their own widely popular house inspired edits imprint to take apart Dizzy K’s “I’ll Never Love Again”, stripping it down into a teetering, chugging acid sprinkled weapon overlaid with a ferocious drum pattern destined to move even the stiffest hips. Last but not least, Japanese producer Mayurashka brings her signature subversive style to Sticky Buttons, flipping Dizzy’s K’s “Konga Mama” into a hypnotic tribal masterpiece, pulsating with a psychedelic techno edge ripe for blending in smokey club venues and dark mainrooms.

Four heaters not to be slept on. Hearing is believing and on this limited edition vinyl release the legend of Dizzy K sings again, finely tuned for 2026 dancefloors but always carrying the raw spirit of the original.

"Fear Of An Extra Planet (Blackout)' in particular, has the potential to become a monumental club hit. The title track from the new EXTRAWELT album is, strictly speaking, more than just a maxi-version, it's almost a separate EXTRAWELT remix of the original, fully optimized for the clubs. Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe have let loose a real bass and drum monster on us. From the very first second, the doubled-up kick bursts from the bassbins to signal the journey into this new EXTRAWELT adventure is underway. The acid-heavy bassline completes the pressure-packed arrangement until the track suddenly stops dead. Sometimes it's just so simple and effective to completely hit the brakes before re-energizing and building up to full speed again. UnOwn is back with a third outing of magical edits and this time the enigmatic Fava Luva is cooking up the heat. First up is an edit of 'Roze', a disco gem that gets pulled apart and rebuilt in slow, sensuous fashion. The drums are loose, the funk is real and the vocal is full of tease that will warm up any setting in any season. On the flip, 'Fishy' is just as much of an elastic and playful sound, this time with a sleazier vocal and some mad, cosmically inclined synth expressiveness and plenty of Parliament-style vocal oddness. Francois Kevorkian is a name that should need no introduction. With over 40 years in the game FK has occupied numerous roles in his long and storied career - drummer, DJ, A&R man, remixer and producer - his skills know no boundaries. Having DJ-ed during the nascent days of club culture in NYC alongside Walter Gibbons, Larry Levan and more, Kevorkian has been there from day one. Years spent in the seminal clubs of the day sharpened his ears and his prowess behind the mixing desk saw him become the A&R man at the legendary Prelude records in the early 80's, this in turn led to him working with everyone from The Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Erasure, D-Train, Yazoo, The Smiths, Kraftwerk and many many more. A true NYC original and legend, Kevorkian is still active today and the respect he commands amongst his peers has never waned, his adventurous extended DJ sets, seminal mixes and remixes and his open ears and open mind have ensured that he will go down in history as a musical pioneer.

Rewind to 1995. Kevorkian's 'Wave Music' imprint has come into existence with a handful of releases. No-one could imagine that his self-produced 'FK EP' - the next release on the label - would be a stone cold classic. Easily one of the most consistent, exciting and solid EP's to come out of NYC during this golden era of dance music. Across 4 tracks we are taken on a sound journey through a world that is undoubtedly informed by FK's time as an engineer, DJ and most importantly, a music lover.

EP opener 'Hypnodelic' brings us into this world, a deep, driving cut that fuses the dubbed out vocals of Freddie Turner against FK's keyboards and immaculate drum programming, oozing cosmic electronic soul, this track was destined to be a future classic. 'Mindspeak' also boasts some tough drums and with a respectful nod to Chicago is an incredibly mixed and arranged peak-time cut that will drive your dancefloor into deep space again and again. 'Edge Of Time' welcomes us to the flipside of the EP, wild Latin percussions, tablas and old school horn stabs drive this monstrous cut, not to mention cavernous dub FX and that huge bassline that just doesn't let up. Essential. 'Moov' rounds things out on a more subdued, stripped back vibe. Reversed percussions and spaced-out synth chords lace this beautifully understated and warm track, one that builds into a crescendo of melodies and hypnotic rhythms and the perfect way to close what has been a truly special musical journey.

This essential reissue of the 'FK EP' has been fully licensed, sanctioned and remastered in conjunction with FK from the original master sources by Optimum Mastering, Bristol UK, repressed onto high quality vinyl and packaged as the 1995 release was. FELT wade deeper into the murky waters of contemporary Scandinavian electroacoustic music following the recent reissue of Johan Wieth’s Health & Safety project on sub-label LEFT and established gems from the likes of Civilistjävel!

Gintė Preisaitė, a Lithuanian artist and graduate of Copenhagen’s Rhythmic Music Conservatory, reveals her first solo release under her own name, following a collaborative effort with Toshimaru Nakamura in 2025 and a number of cassettes as “Baraboro”. The deliberately genre-blurring sound Preisaitė deploys works with composed pop vignettes, sustained drones, FX manipulations and guttural bursts of noise. Sparse piano movements, sample-laden psychedelia and moments of big beat/trip-hop rhythms gel with crowd noise, close mic’d intimacy and experimental percussion with a focus on instrumental timbres and extended techniques.

With a background in composing for large ensembles, Preisaitė's multi-instrumental approach is evident across the eight tracks, moments of dense concrète-style sound collages anchored by the human voice never being far away. She laments on fantasy, absurdity and relationships as a cast of players contribute string, brass, accordion, and guitar parts. Passages move from delicate acoustic folk motifs through to wide-eyed, cut-and-paste glitch electronics and spectral melodic riffs, making the album an unorthodox and welcome addition to Denmark's current world-class music scene.

Pleased As Punch presents four tracks from the many shades of house. Groove P featuring Adeva's 'Hold On Honey' opens with a steady groove and bass he's known for, while vocals from Adeva carry you through the track. A2 follows with Saison's 'Keep My Mind'; a deeper, tougher sound they sometimes bring. Fresco Edits' 'You Are the One' adds classic disco flavour that brings warmth to the EP, while Capri's 'Sax Thing' closes with raw, sax-driven energy. Simple, solid tracks made to resonate.

Yet another solid Soul/Funk nugget lifted from the vaults of Miami's CAT Records (Another T.K. Disco subsidiary).

Often sampled, re-edited & re-jigged but never bettered! Gwen McCrae's all time classic "All This Love I'm Giving" finally see's a timely repress, just as God intended, on a dinked 45 with all original artwork intact! That's right, you may recognize this number from Cassius' 1999 hit "Feelin' For You" but this track has long been a staple of rare groove dances & sophisticated soul parties with discerning DJ's & selectors clamoring for the original 45 at any cost.

Backed here with it's original b-side slow jam "Maybe I'll Find Somebody New" this rare 45 has been re-mastered, re-pressed & brought back for 2015's dance-floors in conjunction & with the permission of T.K. Disco / Henry Stone Music, Miami USA.

Hot Natured's last single 'Forward Motion' was the seductive summer anthem of 2011. Since then the founding members of Hot Natured, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, have been joined by Ali Love and Luca C (from the duo Infinity Ink). The quartet has been locked away in writing sessions in Los Angeles, London and Ibiza, with an album planned for spring 2013.

Having established themselves as one of the leading live bands in Europe, grooving to improvised jazz motifs and hip-hop beats, Budapest trio Jazzbois return with their fourth LP, Still Blunted, which sees them touch base with their beat-tape roots.

Now situated in the heart of Buda at their new studio above a club, the Hungarian trio of Bencze Molnár (Rhodes/synth), Viktor Sági (bass) and Tamás Czirják (drums) take a more considered approach to Still Blunted and offer a snapshot into the jams, sessions, and shows they have played over the past year. Still Blunted was released after the band performed at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in 2024 summer, but before they sold out The Jazz Cafe, London, and three more venues (Paris, Antwerp, Utrecht) on their album release tour in October 2024.

New series for Jodey Kendrick with volume 1, pure 90s Acid sprinkled with funky rhythms like FSOL, Humanoid and 808 State. Exploring an escalation of breaks that are as sexy as they are captivating and progressive already open that this series will become a classic. Just quality music!

Joey Beltram 'Energy Flash' re-mastered by Matt Colton.

Shokolokobangoshay was a collaboration between three members of Pogo Ltd. The three of us felt we were crazier than the other members of Pogo Ltd. and decided to work together on the Kosmik 3 album. Robo was worked in the graphics department of NTA Benin. He was an amazing artist, a crazy guy, he was extremely creative, he invented a musical notation language that only he understood. He was amazing, he took me to his place in Asaba and showed me his compositions, he must have had over 500 songs.

Emman Osagie was my floor manager when I was a producer at NTA (Nigerian Television Authority) Benin. We were all on the same wavelength. He was a member of Severe 7, and heavily involved in the Bini music scene working with Ehi Duncan and others. we really enjoyed making Shokolobangoshay, it’s a river of influences, a bit of this, a bit of that, but it is really our thing. The musical ideas we were playing with at the time.

This record is why I went into reissuing records with Odion. The feeling to sharing records that went under the radar when they were initially released, with a greater audience. Shokolokobangoshay is uniquely Nigerian in a very personal way, it makes references to the societal and political ills that plague us in Africa. It’s title, Shokolokobangoshay, references a play song, kids in Lagos and western Nigerian sing when they play in the streets. Most Nigerians can relate. The music references afro beat, country music, reggae without falling firmly on any side. This is one for the ages. Amazing production, I personally love this record for the free spirit, creativity and excellent song selection. We had to licence it, we just had to. Limited repress only 500 copies.

It is also excellently produced. Big up to all involved, from the Vinyl Rip (James Law, Fidgit Studio, South Africa), to the master production by DJ Simbad (Cape Town, SA) and the cover restoration by Angelo Mitchell (SA). Psychedelic dub, Afro-Latin rhythms and cosmic grooves come together on La Chooma’s self-titled debut for Batov Records. Drawing on Moroccan Gnawa, Colombian cumbia, Afrobeat, Jamaica dub & roots, and cosmic jazz, the six-piece ensemble create deep, hypnotic music rooted in global traditions and shaped for contemporary dancefloors.

Having already captivated local audiences with their hypnotic, organic live performances, La Chooma – now a six-piece ensemble – have been steadily building an international following. Initial singles “Magic Plant” and “Huachuma” earned support from tastemakers including BBC Radio 6 Music’s Deb Grant and Tom Ravenscroft.

“Magic Plant” distills the band’s signature blend of hypnotic grooves, lush percussion and woozy synths, like Jimi Tenor lost in the Colombian Amazon. A dreamlike, dub-infused trip driven by organic rhythm and cosmic textures. “Huachuma” picks up the thread, fusing Afrobeat percussion, swirling basslines and psychedelic flourishes into a hallucinogenic jam made for a tropical dancefloor.

Shine Grooves: "This story began in 2008, at that time I dreamed of launching my own music label and was searching for something unique. I was looking for music in different sources and came across the Frunk29's tracks, this is how I met Marat Shainsky, his release was the first on the Biotronic Records (the label I owned in the mid-00s). Later Marat introduced me to his friend - Sergey Lazarev, aka Lazzich and we immediately put together the next release for the label. It was wonderful and hypnotizing music I had never heard before. After some time we prepared the material for the first Biotronic Vinyl, which was authored by Lazzich, but the release did not happen, due to certain circumstances. And now, 15 years later, the idea comes true, we release the Lazzich mini-album on the Hanagasumi 04. Although Sergey is no longer with us, but his music will live forever. Thanks to everyone who took a part in the search for materials, archives, projects, sketches. Special thanks to Shipulina Yana for providing information and cooperation, Marat Shainsky for the advice and tracks searching, Matvey Andreenko for giving me the large media archive of Lazzich's works, Denis Rooter for designing the cover, Semen Pupyshev for mixing the found Sergey's Reason-projects".

Lee Holman's forthcoming release, 'NECH026,' marks his return to NECHTO, following his 2022 EP on Nastia's imprint. With an uncompromising underground ethos, Holman has built a solid international reputation through his distinctive techno sound. His performances as a live act and DJ have taken him to prestigious venues like TRESOR Berlin, Khidi Tbilisi, and Corsica Studios London. Known for his vast record collection and dynamic performances, Holman's productions have earned international acclaim.
The upcoming EP evolved organically, with three of the five tracks being part of Holman's live shows for NECHTO events. The lead track, "Wave upon Wave," was recorded live after an event in Kyiv, while the other two were from a session at Khidi Tbilisi. Holman initially did not plan to release these tracks, keeping his live performances unique for each night. The bonus track, "It's Not Over," features a beautiful vocal piece and soulful techno accompaniment.
Inspired by nature, particularly the sea surrounding his island home, Holman channels this inspiration into his music. The five tracks of 'NECH026' reflect his signature deep, raw, and energetic techno
sound.

Kicking things off, Suavy AF sets the tone with a sensual, groove-driven cut that balances raw energy and playful finesse. Tight drums, cheeky edits and a laid-back swagger make this one built for both heads-down listening or late-night dancefloor moments. Lemon & Mint, showing they're not here to play it safe.

On the flipside, Synkro takes the original into deeper territory, stripping it back and reshaping it with weighty low-end and a more introspective swing. He offers a more hypnotic take that hits just as hard in its own way. A perfect counterbalance that rounds out the release with class!
