Beatrice M. pushes the needle forward for a sound and scene that nestles among a niche that blends UK dubstep, techno, and the golden era of tech house. The Paris-born artist is in their mid-20s and has been building up a grassroots following and plenty of momentum over the last few years, through their Bait label and its output of sonically resonant artists, alongside numerous remixes and collaborative and solo releases for labels such as Tectonic, Tempa, and Rinse. There are plenty of accolades coming in for Beatrice's work too, with notable DJ mixes for respected heavyweights such as Mixmag as well as featuring in Resident Advisor’s best mixes of 2025.

Opening track ‘Ever’ plunges us into deep waters with a sense of dubwise command. The momentum picks up on ‘Ocean’, where the vocal snippet "everyday life" circles around reverbed stabs and intricate hi-hat moves. ‘Motion’ sets the pace with its jumpy but rolling rhythm, leading straight into the eyes-down, party-time energy of ‘Disco Corner’.

Given Beatrice M.’s reputation as a prolific collaborator, the LP naturally features a few heavy-hitting joint efforts. Bristol-based Sir Hiss features on the subby, 140bpm techno thumper ‘Juice’, while the LP title track, ‘Sinking’, brings forward Beatrice M.’s fresh take on influences from Tectonic’s past in a bass-driven 4/4 number that demands physical movement. ‘Dear Dubstep’ allows a moment to reflect, placing us in a spacious aqua-cave where atmospheric sounds are punctuated by wumping sub-bass, before we surface with ‘Help’ to catch our breath in the melancholy of the moment.

The album's lead single and sole vocal track, ‘In Touch’, showcases Beatrice M.’s split UK-France upbringing. The track unites French MC Kaba and UK MC Jinnal for a bass-driven anthem that seamlessly trades French and English lyrics. Next up is a vinyl exclusive track: the ‘Remedy Mix’ VIP of ‘Poison’, a rolling, bass-driven tech house/techno crossover version of a track originally released on the Tectonic Sound collection from last year.
‘Here’ sees Beatrice M. collaborating with Jay Carder to create a soulful broken-beat flavoured track as ‘Years’ rounds off the journey with contemplative melancholy, providing a deep and dubby closer.

Late Night Tuff Guy has sprinkled some magic onto Toto's track 'Africa' and given it to you super sized in a near 10 minute take of the original, also includes 'Not In Love Anymore', a solid slo-mo rework of Michael McDonald's 1982 classic 'I Keep Forgettin', last up Janet Jackson's 'Put Your Hands On' gets a classy LNTG rewerk

They don't get much more anthemic than Idris Muhammad's 'Could Heaven Ever Be Like This' and who better to rework it than edit royalty, Late Nite Tuff Guy. Subtle in his touches yet incorporating a more DJ friendly, dancefloor orientated beat and tension building intro which teases elements of this classic, before that instantly recognisable bass riff and staccato guitar chords come into play.That subtlety is key when it comes to handling a record as epic as this, elements are accentuated and looped, delicate effects are woven in, but the soul and feeling of Idris' music is lovingly maintained by LNTG.
And for the purists out there, the flip houses the original mix so you've got two paths to heaven to choose from.

Formerly known as Acid Circus, they started to record as Raíz in 2010 for their first release on Historia y Violencia.
Here, the brothers dive deep into the realm of music and structure, with two moving tracks that defy their live performances. Curandero builds up through out the track with every bit of 909 drum and just enough fx's to keep you focused on your 1-2 step. Convergence is an ambient album formed through a series of morning rituals during rehabilitation following a severe medical event and an extended hospital stay. After weeks immersed in the constant alarms, beeps, and environmental signals of medical equipment, the act of listening itself became recalibrated. The music was performed and assembled using glass marimba, flute, and analog synthesizers, with each instrument treated as a source of resonance and gradually dissected through spectral analysis—allowing melody to emerge from fragments through repetition, attention, and daily practice, where synthesis functions not as traditional composition but as an exchange of signals.


Working slowly and intuitively, Stardust Multiplier approaches sound as a communicative medium between humans, the natural environment, and non-ordinary states of perception. Motifs evolve through repetition and subtle variation, informed by ceremonial music, mythic structures, and speculative communication frameworks associated with non-human intelligence—not as narrative devices, but as metaphors for attuned listening and pattern recognition.

Rather than moving toward resolution, Convergence documents moments of alignment—instances where intention, system, and environment briefly synchronize. The result is a restrained, deeply focused record, less concerned with atmosphere than attention, where synthesis functions as both a grounding practice and a method of inquiry.

UK-born DJ, producer and label boss Jimpster debuts on cult label Nu Groove in 2025 with a fresh set of four originals, The Phoenix EP, now on wax. Across this four-track collection, Jimpster showcases over two decades of production expertise, starting with a title track that showcases a club-ready sound built for the underground; ‘The Phoenix’ builds a tight groove through the ebb and flow of overlapping rhythmic patterns. What follows is ‘Lightening In Me’ featuring vocals from East London’s Oliver Night, an electronic artist and songwriter whose work has been supported by the likes of tastemakers Kerri Chandler, Gilles Peterson and Honey Dijon.

Where most albums that span electronic realms lean on functionality, ‘Arriving Home Elsewhere’ reaches for something much more expansive. One of electronic music’s most sought-after names, producer and DJ KETTAMA today announces the release of his long-awaited debut album, Archangel, out 3rd of October. The announcement arrives in tandem with new single “Sort It Out” featuring Clouds, and a landmark moment in his career: his biggest ever London headline show, taking over Brixton Academy on Saturday, October 4th, followed by an expansive tour across Europe, North America, and Australia.



A decade in the making, Archangel is the definitive statement from KETTAMA (Evan Cambell), the Galway-born, London-based artist. The 15-track project is a powerful blend of hard-house energy, trance-inflected euphoria, hip-hop sample-based attitude, and unmistakable emotional depth—sonic signatures that have placed KETTAMA at the cutting edge of contemporary dance music.



The album showcases a curated roster of collaborators who reflect KETTAMA’s reach and relevance across today’s underground and mainstream scenes, including Interplanetary Criminal, Fred again.., Clouds, Prospa, DJ HEARTSTRING, Shady Nasty, SØLV and seantommy. Their contributions amplify the project's scope, offering a multi-sided view into KETTAMA’s musical universe.



Among its early singles, the Interplanetary Criminal collaboration “Yosemite” is a high-velocity anthem marrying speed-garage grit with ecstatic rave melodies, while his track “Air Maxes” with Fred again.. And Shady Nasty blends introspective vocal sampling with wide-eyed club emotion. On “If U Want My Heart” with DJ HEARTSTRING featuring KLP, the ensemble channels high-energy trance, breakbeats, and vocal euphoria into a soaring anthem that fuses emotional intensity with peak-time club energy. Bobby Caldwell is legendary for his blue-eyed soul masterpiece What You Won’t Do For Love but a deeper look into his catalog reveals there’s plenty more where that came from. Danny Krivit heads straight to the source, and uncovers a breezy treat in the form of The House Is Rockin’, Caldwell’s very first single. Kicking his edit off with a highly mixable extended drum break intro, he teases this upbeat mover into the fully extended version it deserves.

From the sunshine of the A-side Krivit pivots to a monster moody groove on the flip, Eddy Grant’s proto-house classic California Style. Leaving just a touch of the soca-fied vocal at the top, Mr. K quickly delves into the depths of the percolating instrumental break, emphasizing all the gloriously quirky synth bloops and relentless bass that made it a favorite of house producers (check Mateo & Matos’s New York Style for proof). We believe this is the first time the extended mix has been available on 7-inch, but we’re absolutely certain it has never sounded so good! One of the UK’s rising talents in recent times, J6 continues his upward trajectory with an enormous four-tracker on underground fan favourites, Locked In Dam. The party starting crew go hand in hand with the refined J6 ethos, as he delivers a dynamite selection of tracks for your record bag. His familiar low end driven sound, combined with tinges of acid and futuristic textures moving between house and modern electro, shapes the ‘Devil Baby’ EP into a cohesive and powerful statement.

The title track is built upon powerful drums and squelchy, spaced-out tones, combined with trippy vocal stabs from Martina, who features on the record. This is prime J6 territory and not to be underestimated. Lars Bartkuhn returns to Rush Hour with “See The Light”, as deep and complex as we have come to expect but as always his ever-present hunt for new inspiration and unique approaches is clearly evident across all 3 mixes of this beautifully deep yet pulsating track!

Originally written as a final foray into house music for the legendary Needs co-founder, this production aimed to “push boundaries within the world of electronic dance music, integrate fresh new elements, bring new compositional perspectives to the listener and to create overall rewarding experiences.”

It’s a deeply personal track, best summarised by the incredible piano solo in the Full Experience Mix. In Lars’ own words, “I am ten million light years away from being a good pianist, but for some reason I NEED to play those kind of things…even if they are raw, primitive and incomplete and lack parameters like elegance, fluidity and wisdom - I need to express myself in that very moment in this exact way.” It’s these unrestrained moments of brilliance that create rich palettes of sound with deep textures, organic rhythms and joyful melodies that keep your ear constantly engaged.

The Full Experience Mix is a near-13 minute trip through lush vocals, complex percussion, deep chords and raw piano solos that guides the listener through the changing motions of “See The Light”. Backed by two dub mixes, Inner Experience hones in on the keys and synths - truly elevating those striking notes. Opening with atmospheric percussion, the Dub Reprise settles into a chugging rhythm that brings the drums to the forefront.

J.E. Movement's groundbreaking ‘Ma Dea Luv’,

Toward the end of the 1980s South Africa's recording industry was booming. Searching for a sound that could cross over to all in the country's segregated society while also eyeing international success, a new duo emerged that quickly rendered its 'bubblegum' predecessors obsolete. Drawing on international trends and crafting lyrics for local ears, J.E. MOVEMENT — a duo made up of James Nyingwa and Elliot Faku — exploded onto the local scene with their debut album, 'Ma Dea Luv'. The future had arrived.

A talented bassist and composer, Nyingwa was at the time employed as an in-house producer at TRS Studios in Plein Street in downtown Johannesburg, run by two Greek immigrants, George Vardas and Chris Ghelakis. Together they formed a close bond as friends and musical partners at what would become CSR Records, recording original hits with acts like the NEW AGE KIDS and SIDNEY, while also cashing in on cover versions as BLACK BOX.

The six tracks on J.E. Movement’s 1988 debut give firm nods to UK Street Soul, New Jack Swing and Stock Aitken Waterman's 'Hit Factory' sound and infuse them with an African rhythmic flair and homegrown lyrical sentiment. Though not expressly political, the title track was received by many as a play on words referencing then-jailed and banned Nelson Mandela (coming after the similarly styled 'I'm Winning My Dear Love' by Yvonne Chaka Chaka in 1986 and 'We Miss You Manelow' by Chicco in 1987), giving it an added potency for those in the know. 'Jack I'm Sorry' was an underground hit in the townships, while 'Marco', 'Friends', 'Funkytown' and the eponymous closer are similarly bass and drum-driven, with hiphop-styled vocals.

The project of internationally acclaimed DJ Guy Mantzur, Moments, is an extensive party and label concept, connecting the elite producers with a series of gatherings.

The twelfth release of the label continues the successful realization of the vision with, Everything Nice This Morning by DJ Zombi. The two-track release includes the original version of the track, followed by the remix by Volen Sentir.

The genius of Zombi's production lies in the optimal balanceof hypnotic arrangement structure with seemingly effortless melodies. While the original cut showcases his distinctive audio palette, an alternative version takes the sonic esthetics to another level.

Fred Brune contributes an additional lively percussive groover, showcasing a prominent dirty saw-tooth bassline. On the flipside, Paul Walter, a highly acclaimed artist from Vienna, delivers a mesmerizing 14-minute minimal remix of "You Name It", skillfully reimagining the acoustic drums with an innovative twist.

Continuing its streak of lit releases, Modeight Records now shines a light on an exciting new Romanian talent Raz, based in Manchester. Injecting some sick minimal house grooves, infectious energy into 4 original compositions. The young artist captivates the listener with his raw and rollicking flow. From the mega fun, head bobbing bassline jam and smooth vocals on "Time Chamber", to the slick electronic riffs of "Fun Ensemble". The deep, sub sonic wiggle of "A Sharp Delay", Raz carves out a sophisticated and hella enjoyable sonic journey diving into "Orange Glide". A breakout release for an artist who's definitely gonna be one to watch in the future.

Belgian producer Gratts finally drops six in-demand reinterpretations from his Be Strong Be Free imprint to vinyl while showing off the label's collaborative, open-hearted spirit. Alex Kassian sets the tone with a lush, chugging instrumental of 'Sun Circles', followed by Terry Farley & Wade Teo's classic 90s Sound Factory-style overhaul of 'Off My Feet.' 'Submerge Me' dives into raw, hypnotic percussion before the flip delivers Fennec's rolling, floor-ready re-chug of 'Better Days'. Conrad McDonnell of Idjut Boys fame adds heavyweight dub depth to 'Jour De Fete', while Southpaw closes the EP by flipping 'Euphori' into tender, emotive trip-hop.

Colombian-Argentinian label We Shine In The Darkness is back with a second serving, and this time they throw it back to 1996 to revisit a classic anthem. It's Julian Sanza and La French Toast who add their own 2025 spin to iconic trance cut 'Seven Days & One Week', maintaining its bleepy and bleary-eyed synth sequences but reworking them into a deep and breezy house groove. On the flip, 'Mad Vibes' is apparently an "homage to a local scene bar" and is an emo-licked post-disco chugger with moody lines and distant vocals tugging at the heart.

Raffaele Arcella, known under the moniker Whodamanny, is a hyper-prolific producer and remixer who has been active for many years within the independent underground electronic scene and beyond. Closely associated with the Neapolitan label Periodica Records, he has released and co-produced numerous projects, and since 2023 he has been curating his own imprint, Biloba, conceived as a platform to carry forward the legacy of the Latin Italo-Disco trend that marked many Italian productions from the late 1980s through the 1990s. Onda Biloba stands as a kind of album–compilation, bringing together the results of Arcella’s ongoing exploration in recent years — both in stylistic development and studio experimentation. The record offers a diverse and vibrant selection, shifting between potential “hit-not-hit” dancefloor bangers and more laid-back, downbeat digressions for blue-hour moments.
