Belgian DJ and producer Gratts have joined forces with London-based vocalist Mr. Beale to follow up on to success of their well-received 'Sun Circles' release last year. Here, on the sublime 'Submerge Me', they are in fine form once more with a brooding sound that features the uniquely mesmerising mantras of Beale and plenty of raw, compelling and percussive grooves that full lock you in and get you going. Spencer FM kicks off his new label Madrugada with a diverse five-track EP of psychedelic late-night house. Kicking things off, "Chicken Billy's Last Stand" rides in with dusty film reel textures and gritty drum programming, while "Good God" pays homage to the upper Midwest’s prodigal son with a spaced out deep cut that’s tailor made for those closing moments. "Alpenglow" wraps a spiraling earworm around ethereal pads and a slamming bassline, with "Miss E" conjuring a world where 90s R&B was birthed in a South London basement. Capping things off, Massimiliano Pagliara's remix of "Alpenglow" adds a touch of acid-tinged Italo to round out the record.

Fruit Express is here! This is their debut EP and "they" are Roma and Madis. A mellow electronica producer meets multi-instrumentalist and old time guitar hero. The outcome? Funky shit with its roots in dub and what seems like some smoky country music.
The title track is prominently catchy & poppy, while "Harlan County Line" crosses the border jamming away with a heavy spaghetty western feel. "Samurai" jam holds the mystique levels high, all spacey and mushy in its dub sauce.

The 12" is spotlessly sewn together by Tapes who throws the original "No Secret" into a 8-bit blender and out comes... well a sensational 8 bit version "The Secret"."
