Dancing People return with their 3rd release to ease us into 2020 with a distinctly warm Brazilian flavour.

Two classics from the Brazilian repertoire: Joyce’s Aldeia and Jobim’s Felicidade are given a subtle and sophisticated dancefloor treatment, perfect for those warm up and after hours sessions. With volume 1 + 2 selling out very quickly indeed, these won’t be around for long.

This Like A Prayer edit has been a secret weapon in Mike's DJ sets for almost 3 years, and has been one of his most requested tracks. The fact that it has amassed over 15,000 downloads on SoundCloud before being taken down by Madonna’s people has only added to the mystique of this particular rework. The b-side is a polar opposite, yet equally as effective, rework of krautrock legend Faust. Here, Mike takes a meandering kraut masterpiece, and in a more classic edit style, turns it into an 11 minute dancefloor journey with bigger drums, faster BPMs and buildups/breakdowns. Where the Madonna edit is sparse and bare, the Faust edit is lush and ecstatic.

This is the first reedit release from Bassi Maestro’s “North of Loreto” project straight from Milan, Italy. On the A-side Bassi reworks a top notch Jellybean production that needs no introduction, probably the finest Whitney track to ever touch the charts, with flipped vocals and a subtle early house groove; while staying faithful to the classic song it brings new energy out of it, a certified dancefloor banger. On the B-side, Aut Of Sait is an underrated electro-funk bomb, the NoLo version extends the infectious grooves of the original 12” keeping just the essential vocal parts in the mix for a more club oriented edit, while the second track is an early 80s obscure Czech disco track chopped up and looped to make it perfect to dance to; less vocals, more bounce.

After the release of his critically acclaimed debut LP Balance, Wonderwheel Recordings is happy to present a compilation entitled Tributaries, spanning El Buho's best remixes for other artists over the last 8 years - some new, some unreleased, and some old classics.

Ever since producer Robin Perkins aka El Buho begin making music, he has been focused on making edits, mashups and remixes of songs he loves & is inspired by and can incorporate into his globe trotting DJ sets and live performances. Tributaries focuses on different streams of music, and Buho's talent for fusing them together and flowing them into something altogether new. On this album there is Electronic music, Dem Bow, Cumbia, Dub, Polish Folk, Afro-Colombian, Peruvian traditional music, modern Sudanese folk and some of my favourite producers that have helped shape today's thriving Latin American electronic music scene - bands and producers such as Quantic, Alsarah & The Nubatones, Chancha Via Circuito, Lulacruza, Lido Pimienta, Begun, Grupo Canalon de Timbiqui, Go Dugong, Deela and more.

Ruhrmann & Rockwell’s debut 12" EP marks the inaugural release for Amikron Records, a colognian imprint established together by the friends of 'Chicago Am Rhein' and 'Ruhrmann & Rockwell' for modern dancefloor records of all kind.

The first music from the Cologne producer duo features four library instrumental tracks, all created and rearranged for a dj-friendly use.

Kicking things off on the a-side with a midtempo boogie / disco stomper, "Cape York '84" is serving you feel-good summer vibes followed by "Do Not Rush" slowing it down to keep you in a cool jazzy mood. On the flip side "Felix The Midi-Cat" turns wild with some synth-jamming backed by an uptempo groove while "Sunrise" puts your mind into a hypnotic rhythm surrounded by flute samples.

Snips is the founder of Barbershop Records and co founder of Livin Proof, with over 15 years experience as one of Londons most prolific DJs and over 10 years worth of production credits across Hip Hops underground. 2018 has seen Snips emerge as a budding solo artist, fusing the production styles of Hip Hop, House, Soul and Funk in the same fashion as he is known to do behind the turntables.

With his debut album "The Barbershop" making waves on both sides of the Atlantic, garnering support from a cross genre selection of heavyweights such as Karizma, Benji B, Eli Escobar, House Shoes, J Rocc and Henry Wu, Snips returns on his own label Barbershop Records and delves into Edit territory, cleverly turning Neo Soul & RnB favourites into club ready anthems over Snips original productions.

Just a quick description of the tracks, 'Ritmo que Mata' is... as you can imagine, a Disco-Psychedelic Latin track clearly dedicated to the label. 'Flore De Canela ' comes from a vocal of Peruvian folklore.

After Marcin Krupa's jazz laden pumpers on Sour Edits Vol 2, Sour Edits is back with a four-tracker featuring the first vinyl release from emerging talent Braga Circuit alongside label boss xxxy.

The A1 is the collaboration between the two artists 'take you there'. Slamming drums, melancholic vocals and soaring soul samples to bring a tear to the eye and a pump to the fist

A2 'one I got' is a straight up romantic soul swinger from the boy wonder on his own, craftily chopped samples sit alongside swinging drums to get any good dancefloor moving

B1 'I won't, I never' sees xxxy mixing Baltimore breaks with romantic vocals and soaring strings for another tears on the dancefloor moment.

B2 'What you do to me' closes out the record with a slap bass fest that builds and builds.......

A welcome return from former 'Gentleman Of Leisure' Jadell who delivers a sublime slice of French house-inspired disco cut 'n' paste guaranteed to ignite dance floors. B Side "Your Love Is What I Need" is a mid tempo, deep disco monster set to get those hands in the air.

The EP draws on a range of influences including Soulful House, Jazz Funk, Nu Disco, Neo Soul, RnB & Hip Hop and features some of Londons finest emerging artists including Vocalist Emmavie, Spoken word artist William Stowe and North London rapper Awate.

Bill Brown and Al Hall jr met around 1971, they were both in south central L.A and shared the same apartment building, also in the same building was Doug Carn and brownstone singer billy Wilson.
These studio sessions were don't at Paramount studios Hollywood where Al Hall jr was working for producer Art Smith a&c music.
The main distributor for A&C was Accent records. So the Soul Injections very first single "Stay off the moon" was released via Accent, as was Bill Browns "Bip Bam" The group wasn't that pleased with how Accent handle the releases so Bill took it upon himself to set up his own label called Brownstone records. Many musicians were called in for studio sessions these included
Doug Carn, organ; Kirk Lightsey, keyboards; Mel Bolton,
guitars; Mel Lee, drums; Al Hall jr (trombones), Willaim 'Bill'Henderson strings.
The label was met with some confrontation from other Hollywood labels and many of the Brownstone releases were told not to hit the shops by Mafia run labels. Later around 1975 Brownstone released a track by Everyday people feat Alexis "world full of people"....A now cult soul 45 ....But wait, we at Super disco edits have unearthed the original tapes with the very first incarnation of that song and music, different lyric content and sung by Bill Brown. Not just this you get the instrumental on the b side!!

Credits you don’t need. A shared musical memory. Only the recordings remain.

With arrangements from DUBFORCE’s Ippei Tatsuyama and vocals contributed by Kyoko Abe, these records will please both Studio Ghibli fans and reggae fans.

Songs from “My Neighbor Totoro”, “Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind”, and “Princess Mononoke” are arranged
