Produzent und DJ Steve Aoki gilt als einer der Vorreiter der Electronic Dance Musik-Szene. Er ist Gründer von Dim Mak, einem richtungsweisenden Plattenlabel mit angeschlossenem Event- und Lifestyle-Unternehmen und einer Modelinie. Seit der Gründung 1996 hat Dim Mak Bands wie Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots, Klaxons und The Gossip zum Durchbruch verholfen. Bis heute zählt das Label fast 500 Veröffentlichungen.
