Inner Vision also features four cuts, these courtesy of DJ Compufunk, aka Nao from Osaka. He's the founder of Compufunk Records (the longest-running record shop for House and Techno in Japan) and, as the four solidly crafted tracks show, an experienced producer in his own right. The vertigo-inducing title track struts aggressively with a high-velocity swing peppered by tinkling synth accents and acidy squelches, after which “Abyss” cools the pace for a sexier House style (a swishing drum machine detail even gives the cut a rather Kraftwerk-like tinge). On the flip, “Midnight Sky” grooves as boldly, this time with a smattering of Garage worked into its swing and chiming synths brightening the mix, while “Mind Power” changes things up with a swirling bottom end that's so dizzying it's positively gyroscopic. Dj Compufunk sn't averse to packing his productions with layers of dizzying detail, and as a result the stimulation level remains high throughout. Strictly limited 250 copies.

Well, it's been a while since we were graced with a new project from The Very Polish Cut-outs !

Pejzaz is the new project from Bartosz Kruszynski aka The Phantom, Earth Trax and half of Ptaki is a delightful exploration of mid-nineties chill, dusty samples, organic analogue sequences and beatless pieces, all referencing - as with the labels consistently brilliant output thus far - forgotten Polish rarities. The first press of this LP sold out in Poland before anyone else got a look in !

The kid called KAPOTE is our new favorite man on the Toy Tonics camp.. :) Coming up with his first own EP. Including a dancefloorfunk-remix by his Berlin mates from SESSION VICTIM. Kapote is doing house music, but influenced by rare Funk and Soul music. Or better said: by the mid 1990ies wave of filter house and the French touch. He likes the black American scene around Paul Johnson or the tracks on Detroit's Red Planet label (The Martian!!). But also French people like La Funk Mob, G-ilbert, early Super Discount stuff.. The days when it was all about finding the ultra rare, but ultra effective samples and using it in a clever and very musical way. Creating a new groove, something that flows with a big bunch of Soul. Kapote does this... and he has the old vinyls and he has the right machines to make them swing in a new way. Check out Kapote.

‘New label out of Bristol, Ghost Phone represents RnB's deep and club friendly potential with four anonymous versions from various artists. Hand picked from across the globe for their deep love and appreciation of the original sound, each producer brings thier individual style to the fore. Bending things out of shape for the freaks but still retaining the genres slick, sensual aesthetic.

Chopped and screwed soul gets the full dub treatment on opener ‘Quiet Storm’, alongside 'Hit it Tool' where bumping 2 step drums meet Bmore breaks for the most dance floor primed cut on the 12". B1: ‘Single And Searching’ floats pitched vocal snippets in to the clouds, layering them over misty eyed rave chords. Finally, there is the pale faced club shuffle of '2ON’.’

Moar's skilful hands and exceptionally well-trained ears combine beautifully on all of his edits, and this is no exception. Full of space and room to breathe, the A-side's 'i' is a deep house/disco number and is a sparkling gem of a track. I can't tell you what the sources are, but the xylophone layered and looped over the dubby beats is a sweet spot you'll want to taste over and over. It could be a warm-up track, mixed into a peak time set, and is most definitely one for the late-night set.

Over on the flip this huge classic funky song has been beautifully re-rubbed by Moar, this fattens and tightens an already phat and tight classic groove with some electro flourishes. A very respectful mix perfect for the dancefloor!

Having delivered two outstanding EPs and a landmark triple compilation, Portugal's Pluie/Noir now returns with its first full-length album. Assigned with the enviable task is
enigmatic German producer The Marx Trukker, who has thus far kept us on our toes with a string of high-quality EPs on a handful of respected independent imprints.
With a natural affinity for experimental soundscapes that challenge dancefloors, Pluie/Noir offers the perfect platform for him to really express himself.

As much a palette of textures as it is a dance-focused collection of tracks, Couldn't See Too Clear For Edges is a kaleidoscopic and utterly transfixing listen all the way through.

The very first track, Alongside ashortside' (A1) is infused with the sort of jazzy, impulsive flavours that are part of the album - and the label's - DNA. But the tempos ebb and flow, at
times withdrawing all intensity ( The Gin Bay Hoss Ballad' (A2)), before cascading into tightly compressed microhouse rhythms ( A Kind Shaped Mind' (A3)) and other more
expansive 4x4 examinations: Couldn't See Too Clear for Edges (Two Movements)' (B1),
As Rivers Stand' (C1). Regardless of the occasionally dramatic shifts, the album never
once loses its focus. Minor Belongings' (C3) is arguably the album's finest creation in
terms of a true artistic indulgence. Dreamy and deeply absorbing, it feeds into the album's
powerful finale, Blaue Drift' (D1), which is one of the more aggressive works on show here.
As we've come to expect, Pluie/Noir again challenges what can be achieved within the parameters of dance music by empowering its carefully selected repertoire of artists.
As standard, the album will come as a limited pressing, this time around of transparent green vinyl, with a beautiful hand-drawn black and white artwork cover, ensuring this is as collectible
as it is listenable.o

New York's DJ Torture drops a lo-fi acid work out on OS XXX fresh from his limited cassette drop on SWAMP TAPES.. wunderkind Bakground holds it down on the flip with 2 lo fi jungle jams.

We are not sure if this was ever done before: We asked the legendary German illustrator duo Bringmann & Kopetzki, mostly known for their comics Hotze (Groove Mag) and Wild Life (Faze Mag), to "remix" the artwork of "Rebellion der Träumer" by Kollektiv Turmstrasse. This limited edition was so far only available in antique white vinyl via Connaisseur’s Bandcamp page and is sold out now.

Rare Firecracker heat w/ Sotofett remix

After a little break, Colt Music is back with a double separate release featuring tracks contributed by friends and family, all the way from Madrid to Offenbach and Berlin. Featuring the mysterious Berlin duo Die Augen, Offenbach's finest Markus Sommer, Felix Kluge, Tom Ries and Robin Stern, and Madrid local heroes Javier Moreno, Pohl, Canetti and Joackin.

Ltd Transparent 12" Vinyl. The acclaimed Wreck Fader album by Kypski saw it's vinyl release about 2 years ago. Since then Kypski has been working on quite a few things. Amongst these projects is his amazing online remix project. As part of this, Kypski took the hit Love Sick from Mura Masa to another level. His remix of Dutch smash hit Drank & Drugs by Lil Kleine & Ronnie Flex also caught the attention of a lot of people which resulted in thousands of views and shares on Facebook and Youtube. Due to the succes of Kypski's remix project we thought it was an excellent idea to remix Wreck Fader and that's why we asked a diverse range of Dutch producers to wreck the tracks of Kypski's album. The remix album follows the intensity of the original in an extraordinary way. The remix artists had the opportunity to pick tracks which fit their own style best. Ultimately all remixers took Wreck Fader into another dimension. Julien Mier chose Armitage Skank and made it sound so easy yet complex at the same time. The deep vibes by SparkUp x Taro take Clockworx into the bass zone. Skip & Die did what they do best: make it even more pushy, electro rave madness. Colin Benders turns it into a modular proto tool. The deconstructing of Mixology by Roel Funcken goes completely into a wobbly crispy spatial twirl. The always returning amen gets exposed in the FFF remix like it's a dream from 1994. De Likt made Trambalero sound like it's one of their own original tracks with punky, in your face vocals on ruff direct beats. Deformer dares to battle the D-Styles work-out: Mad like hell and mutating it to a rave punch.

Cellist Maarten Vos and pianist Nils Davidse became close friends over a shared love for modular synthesizers. Two musicians with a taste for contemporary electronic music, Vos and Davidse began experimenting and constantly extending each other’s boundaries in hour-long colourful improvisations in the studio. Both of them being occupied with other projects, their monthly recording sessions became moments of pure freedom. Most of the album was composed and recorded in and around a forest cabin tucked away in the Dutch riparian woodlands. Intuitively following its surroundings, Superbloom is a true jungle of vivid and organic sounds that reflect both Vos’s and Davidse’s musical backgrounds intertwined in a melodic and harmonically rich soundscape. It’s a many layered affair, created with analog and digital synths, some hints of piano and cello, field recordings and processing through different kinds of tape machines.

Carrying on after the previous release in this series and letting the music speak.
