All things in life are cyclical so Quanticman Records returns to the birthplace to celebrate it's 5th year of existence.

It all begun with a group of people that wanted to have a platform where they could evolve.

The label had a boost of popularity when it debuted on vinyl with artists like : Horatio , Bastian Schuster , Pablo Cahn , Los Updates .... and kept getting popularity.

Quanticman Records quickly established itself as an fresh mix of dub tehnoish , minimalistical , housy sound , all with a specific romanian twist....

Beeing supported by the grand masters: Raresh , Ricardo Villalobos , Luciano , Loco Dice , Richie Hawtin , DJ Sneak , Dubfire proved once again that the label has found an identitiy among club people , djs and more.

Now we are returning to our roots and we want to celebrate this special events with a party and a 5 years double vinyl release.

This is the third and final part of Quilla's 'Beautiful Hybrid' Remix Project on Visionquest Special Edition's. 'Part Three' features Oxia & Agoria and Wareika Remixes of tracks from Quilla's forthcoming debut album 'Beautiful Hybrid', which will be released later this year on Ritual Fire Records.

On the A Side and Oxia & Agoria deliver a stupendous dance-floor legume jam of 'Beans Beans Beans'. Both infectious and nutritious this remix will have you dancing for your supper! On the flip and hot on the heels of their recent album on Visionquest, Wareika deliver a momentous fifteen-minute sonic opus of cosmic beauty, infused with early dawns and setting suns this is truly magnificent. A wonderful release to finish of this great triumvirate remix package.

Auf dem zweiten Teil der "Vinyl Only Edits" sind Skinnerbox, Kiki, Mr. Statik und Shinedoe mit alternativen Versionen ihrer Tracks zu hören. Eingeleitet wird die 12" durch "Sinister 3" von Kiki. Ein formidabler Groover für ausgedehnte Feiernächte, mit zurückgelehntem Piano, flirrenden Sounds und handfesten Beats. "The Alphabet", von Skinnerbox und Aérea Negrot im Raw Acid Edit, hypnotisiert im Anschluss daran mit TB-303 Klängen und beschwörenden Vocals und ist mehr Trip als nur Track. Der Beitrag von Mr. Statik funktioniert getreu dem Motto "Bitchin Not Snitchin" und schickt seine Signale hinaus ins Strobolicht. Als vierten und letzten Track der Platte gibt es "Romantique" von Shinedoe und Christine Wheeler. Der Rave Rework besticht durch ein fesselndes Arrangement und einen charismatischen Spannungsbogen.

Gold Records starts 2014 with a proper funky gem from The Glitz aka Andreas Henneberg & Daniel Nitsch. And we are not only very proud to have that duo on board but also these two fantastic remixers: The legendary Jan Driver (Boys Noize Records) drops his hi-energy funk while David Keno (OFF Records) goes the elegant nu disco way. SA based Dakin Auret opens in fine style with a piece of current European sounding house being made popular by the likes of Noir, Hot Since 82 & Larse. I'm Going's smooth grooves are the order of the day with snappy drums beating at the heels of a hulky bassline. Airy chords add tension to the groove whilst an epic main break shows exactly why Dakin is the labels top selling artist.

Kick back for a tripped out affair as Daniel Ray adds his dub touch on Dead End.
Another SA producer now based overseas - Bahrain to be exact, an influence clearly heard in his productions that have been getting love far and wide across the Atlantic. A fairly new artist to the label, whose sound has quickly found fancy with it's haunting melodies, exquisite bass grooves and clean production. This is an absolute smokers delight.

The B side sees some rather rude house action by Brit bad-boy - Nohijo.
Do It All Night will raise the roof on even the most discerning of floors with its exquisite production and energetic arrangement.
Slamming drums mesh perfectly with a bassline designed to rip speakers apart whilst a familiar vocal snippet rides tight with solid,chunky chords. Proper house music.

Ruyman Mas closes the EP with an absolute banger in the form of Covachos. The Tenerife born producer has a pendant for bringing it sleazy with a devilishly crafted blend of deep/tech house.
Here Ruyman rides a low slung groove with cold chords, bouncy synths and a cheeky vocal.
A guaranteed floor mover that should appeal across genres. You'll be hearing a lot more of this name in the coming months but remember you heard him here first!

ANA is a Dj/producer based in Munich Germany and is well known as resident DJ in Harry Klein Club since 2006 as well as co-founder Harry Klein Records with Julietta in 2010.

2014 continues in funky style with the latest release from one of Paris' finest purveyors of high quality underground electronic music. After January's powerful 'Width' EP, by Mandar, we 're proud to unveil the 'Minesis' EP from one of the French capital's most talented and diverse artists, S3A (Sampling As An Art) AKA Max Fader. S3A showcases his deep seated love for soul and house on this excellent five-track release, which as always is vinyl-only. Fader's appreciation of the traditions of electronic music are clear to hear throughout these smooth, organic productions. He's a man who values his 1210s just as much as his classic drum machines and this is clearly evident from the start with 'For Danilo' which blends diva-esque vocals with a rolling disco groove and nineties rave stabs to create an unforgettable vibe. 'Deep Into Amsterdam' takes us into jazzy deep house territory, with a slightly muted soulful vocal layered below smooth, bright keys and a solid set of percussion. On the flip 'Discofonk' continues to celebrate the era of funk and disco in supreme style, aiming straight for your hips and sending them into overdrive. S3A demonstrates his dexterity with the 2-minute hip hop beat on 'Piano Interlude' before we get more of that sleazy, blaxploitation atmosphere on 'Dirty Sampling Insomnia'.

Taste Of Honey is proud to present the true sound of the early 80': Change was an Italian-American post-disco group formed in Bologna, Italy in 1979 by businessman and executive producer Jacques Fred Petrus (1949-1986), Mauro Malavasi and Davide Romani. They were heavily influenced by legendary disco band Chic. In this release we can listen the original "Got To Get Up" (1983) plus a very clubby remix by Re-Tide (Taste Of Honey's Crew). The old sound and the new sound in one vinyl: born in 1983, evolved in 2014!

PULP presents the label's sophomore release called 'Love's Cosmos' by US House veteran DaRand Land. After delivering a top-notch remix for the first effort (PULP01), DaRand agreed to come up with an entire EP for the label's forthcoming output. The result is well orchastrated deephouse sounds with that signature DaRand Land vibe. The opening track 'The Long Night' and the follow up 'Soothe Me' both have that classic American house vibe to it while the EP takes a more percussive route on 'Tribute To Ron And Anthony'. DaRand continues to show his versatility on the downtempo track 'Cling To A Cloud' which has that dreamy touch to it. 'Jose Lau' helps out on the B side with his mix of 'Sunshine To Peaches'. All and all PULP is determined to set a very classic standard in modern House.

out vocal lines and an infectious, penetrating sub-bass that brilliantly wraps itself around

Giuseppe never fails to deliver. His cut starts with dropped-tempo, organic, shuffling
percussion, building towards a hooky Rhodes melody that carries the track alongside
sampled vocal snippets. Be once again relies on the simplicity of maintaining a strong
groove throughout it's eight minute duration with subtle nuances adding hidden
textures.

B1 The Way I Feel
Herck creates an ethereal, melodic vibe here with bubbling earthy percussion, rolling
organ hits and ever evolving synth lines, running alongside crunchy distorted drums.

B2 Trabajo Pele & Shawnecy Mix
The dynamic duo steps up on remix duties next, edging the record into a shuffling house
state with raw, swung drums, a sub-driven, garage-tinged bass hook and dubbed-out
synth lines. Shawnecy heavily manipulates minute vocals with elongated rhyhmes and
adding a trippy hip hop edge, as expected this is serious peak-time business with dark
atmospherics.

Ever since Digitalism played Boiler Room at 2013's !Melt Festival the internet has been asking what this track might be. There have even been bootlegs made from the audio, but the version we release on Vinyl was the one that lit up dancefloors from I Love Techno in Belgium to Genban in Tokyo, Output in New York and Razzmatazz in Barcelona. It's been a staple in the Digitalism DJ set for almost a year and a unshared gem until now. On the dawn of a digital only release featuring a Vocal version with remixes from RAC, Riton and Paul Woolford, we proudly present a very limited (250 copies) special edition etched vinyl of the original instrumental version. On top of that, there are 3 remixes: Chris Milla serves a trippy version, and the label head works with a deep stretching synth-line, after a dizzying break. Third remix is made by Frankfurt-based Matt Star, who has uncountable releases and remixes on labels around the DBH environment like Rawax. His interpretation of 'Velo' is featured by a short and crispy bass bat on the kick. All this will be pressed on red vinyl.

Steve Nash is our next pick in our quest for discovering amazing new talents in the shark
infested waters from Germany. His last material on Natural Rhythm is still tearing up dance
floors in the world week by week, and here on we decided to release him on a well deserved
12''.

The first track on the 12'' , 'Dancing' , begins nicely enough with a cavalcade of
percussive delights. Soon enough he chunky kick drum moves into gear, alongside a cheeky
little baseline that rumbles beneath the surface. A sweeping synth enter the track, and leads it to
the breakdown where funky melodies build to the beautiful sweeping synth, that all unite with
the chunky baselines and driving beats
On the b side we see No Como which kicks into gear with some driving beats yet again
as well as a deep bouncy baseline. Very solid in the first half, the track also hits a curious
breakdown that is similar in style to the a-side, featuring a high pitched synth, as well as some
funky vibes, all while the hi hats are building furiously.

Re.You's remix has quite an enchanting feel throughout, with float effects and nice
dreamy feel to it, despite the fact that the beats are quite solid and the baseline quite chunky.
It's a very nice production with solid rolling beats, bass and a nice vocal that makes a great
track incredible.

Emanuel Satie has gained a high reputation for doing quality tracks . Working as intern
at Cocoon surely helped him learn the business. When you hear his remix u get that specific
summer anthem quality track which makes you dance on the side of the pool and after jump
inside because you are too heated by it. This is a real summer anthem, ready to be played out
in Ibiza and at all backyards that feature fresh air!
