For their second release, Sound Of Vast enroll revered Italian producer Niro who, delivers some of his finest work to date. Remix by Japanese superb producer Gonno (Beats In Space / International Feel).
Amsterdam/London based label The Sound Of Vast was founded in 2014 by Japanese DJs Knock and Red Pig Flower.
After made great success of the first EP as an official imprint, the highly praised 'The Shades' by Egal 3, For its second issue, VAST enrolls Italian revered producer Niro (unclear, DB Artists Musique and Memento) who, with these 3 tracks, comes up with one of his finest selection of works to date. Taking inspiration from the analogue sounds that permeate his musical landscape - and his studio - Niro just went with the flow here and put no boundaries to what was coming out of the speakers, a journey between land - with the classic Roland synthesizers to set the tone - and space - experimenting on a tripper and more colourful vibe. 'La Cochonne Intergactique' is wobbling bass and flanger percussions introduce spacey pads and deep dreamy atmospheres, until a freaky melody breaks out and leads to a soft and slightly dark closing. Its remix brings the percussive elements and drums to the fore, giving a more muscular feeling and a bumpy groove, remix by one of the most respected Japanese producer Gonno (Beats In Space / International Feel). 'Krissy Moon' is robotic bleeps and stabs play along twisted beats and computerized rhythms, like the soundtrack to some crazy German late-70s alternative SCI-FI movie, while 'Tender As Asphalt''s sweeps and filters frenzy opens up to bouncy chords and acid ambiences. Also to add more vast flavour into this release, Red Pig Flower's remix had complicated drum tricks and more emotional vibe, as lunatic as 'Krissy Moon' indeed.
This EP contain digital only and vinyl only tracks as usual, as we believe in 'Krissy Moon' Niro's original track you will just find on vinyl, and Red pig flower's experimental groovy remix just will be on digital, both of them can not be missed.
Lastly, this EP will pressed 500 copies only with out repressing, quicker people will have a benefit as usual.

Hot on the heels of the first release on Visionquest Special Editions is the second part of Quilla's 'Beautiful Hybrid' Remix Project. 'Part Two' features Matthew Herbert, Ryan Crosson & Terje Bakke's takes' on tracks from Quilla's forthcoming debut album 'Beautiful Hybrid' which will be released later this year on Ritual Fire Records.

Featured here are four diverse and innovative remixes of the original tracks. Matthew Herbert produces an off-kilter, shape-shifting sonic colossus of a remix of 'Biological Clock' that is truly inspiring. Also featured is Herbert's Instrumental version of his remix that is equally as stupendous. On the flip and Visionquest member Ryan Crosson delivers a mix of two halves: the heady, hypnotic percussive take on 'We All Have Shadow' transmogrifies halfway through as the razor sharp acid dissects the rhythm with rapier accuracy and jacks the groove! Finally Terje Bakke, takes the tempo down with his Dub Attempt of 'Labyrinth', steeped in creaky atmospheric resonance this is great interpretation.

This is the second of three remix projects with Quilla that will be released on Visionquest Special Editions this year. Please note these will be vinyl only and a limited pressing. The third part of the remix project will feature remixes from Agoria & Wareika.

12 releases strong already, (a:rpia:r) has been silent for the last 2 years, since Petre Inspirescu's Gradina Onirica hit the shelves of your favourite record shop. It is now Raresh's turn to release something special and indeed he did.

Vivaltu is an old gem, a subtle uplifting track driven by a powerful resonator, perfect for that special moment'. The male mumbling voices provide the track with that extra eclectic feel. This is in fact Raresh's only track on Vivaltu EP, the rest are remixes.

Side B presents a minimal house interpretation remix by none other than chilean legend and friend, Ricardo Villalobos. The resonator is still here but in come some childish voices to make it all perfect. Perfect for the dancefloor.

Side C brings forward another member of the (a:rpia:r) family, none other than contemporary wizard Petre Inspirescu. His take has a very cinematic approach, building and building for 4 minutes before the kick even starts. The rich percussive atmosphere is completed with a brilliant melody reminiscent of his classical experiments. This track is an absolute masterpiece !

Aloe Varu is the third chosen for this remix pack and indeed he was chosen wise. His stripped down remix spans for 13 minutes and completes the story of (a:rpia:r) 13.

The first release, simply entitled 'Primu''', sets the tone for things to come, as it uncompromisingly proposes a double 12' package featuring 4 pieces from our local heroes Mihigh, Arapu, Barac, Priku and Sepp.
Disc 1 kicks off the A side with a collaboration between club resident Mihigh and Arapu. It's the only collaboration of the record however don't be fooled, it's a powerful one to say the least. It's not easy to put into words why it is so, but don't be afraid to let yourself be hypnotised by it.
The B side sees Barac do what Barac does best, make you go 'woah, where did that come from!',  although that's the last thing you'll be thinking of when you hear it, as it has quite a few memorable things going on inside that you'll love it the more you listen to it.
Disc 2 is the more subtle one of the pair however equally as addictive and certainly justifies why there are 2 parts to this debut release. Side C picks up the tone and mood of the first 2 side and takes it to another place entirely with eerie vocals in the forefront and a strong groove to carry it, and you, far far away, the only way Priku knows how. Finally, last but certainly not least there's Sepp's effort, 'Nopti Tacute' to end the package on a high note. It's the more 'tamed' of the bunch but we find a great deal of charm and finesse in the loose and somewhat otherworldly pads.

Moratu is well-know from his highly requested Romniceanu EP on Nil Records. This is the worthy follow-up with three stunning tracks, only on Vinyl and special artwork included.

We're excited to kickoff our first release on Moving Vibrations! Nechaykin Evgeniy was born in a small town in the Urals, Russia. He discovered German techno, which later inspired him to produce his own music and started DJ-ing at the age of 18. His music is a way to express his emotions and life experiences and he personifies his productions by using live instruments. His 'Marine Shade EP' is his debut release and we are proud to have him on board.

Jana Kirschner - a child of the bear and blueberry soaked forests of the geographical Centre of Europe, the land locked land now known as Slovakia; mushrooms, berries, and nuts were her toys, the folk songs of Slovaks, Roma, and the Magyar, her education..... Winning spandex clad dance comps at 8 years old down the local "Dom Kulture" - culture house - disturbingly garish singing competitions by 12, and early forays into songwriting via misguided western wannabe production.... the surest route to 90's era Slovakian stardom.

Jana's changed course so abruptly so frequently in her now eight album career no one dare guess her next move, yet with Muzika she's landed, and announced, HERE is music, a celebration, no rules, pompous, bombastic, Day-Glo nonsense, it could only come from central Europe, it should be awful yet it's somehow brilliant, the one single lyric "Muzika" repeats as mantra with Krautrock drums and baroque-esque vocal arrangements and blankets of analogue synths ("Kraut Barock"!).... What Why Because: Musika! That's why. No more need be said. It will leave no lover of true music behind.

On the flip side, the antithesis: Prophet 5 circular pattern from start to close on a slow 3/4, again one single word "Idu" (they're coming or they're going) repeated in up to four part harmony, glossing, and sliding in and out of standard tonality.... an ABABA form where the A is instrumented by cello & clarinet, and the B is taken in turn by Cimbalom and Marimba. Time stands still. A dream rest after the revolution of Muzika is complete.

Central European music is ALIVE!

Long awaited understand 004 sees the light of press as a double ep containing 4 tracks from our own Lazar Cezar. Om vedea may well be or not be seen as an album, as each track has it's own individual life, nevertheless you can somehow feel they come from the same source.
First disc shows a very dubby side of Cezar. Time en spies is a haunting psychedelic (yet powerful) tool while Sun2216 is an layed down percussive dub track.
Disc two is strongly directed to the dance floor. If you were wondering if Cezar can do techno now you've got the answer. Shakeuit is a track that really means business ! Adagium or truism is no stranger to that concept also but tackling the electro chord as well. If you needed something to remember now you've got it !

FreundSein recordings presents their first release.
The label owner and producer team Pawlo Tojeda and Chris Lustig present their first own release from their label with tracks from Maximiljan, Adrianho & Chazzy Chaz. FreundSein and the meaning itself 'be a friend' is symbolic of their decision and of what they really want to express.

I am losing my hairs and realizing that wrinkles are going on and on in my face but the style is still the same! In this release, little Enzino and his crazy friends are going to let you taste a purely House 'A' side, whereas in the 'B' side funky atmosphere will mix up with boogie disco for exquisite tastes. Warm up your decks people!'

Keeping in line with the trademark birdsmakingmachine sound, comes the fth release on
their self-entitled label: BMM 004. With a more straight-to-the-point approach than its
predecessor, the EP starts off on the dance oor, with rumbling bass lines and heavy
metallic snares juggling with effects-laden delicacies on the A1's 'Ahora Vengo'. The
arrival of 'Ash but not Arthur' on the A2 calms things down bit and takes the listener for
a gentle journey through ambient pads and cleverly swinging hi hats, while on the ip,
things get a little more bouncy in 'Oscar's Critical Jack', which is mostly due to the fact
its main ingredient - the solid playful bass line - blends effortlessly with the higher
frequency 'spices', keys, strings and rhythmic parts. The end credits roll down with
'Bonfume', another relatively smooth yet jacking swinger that could either be used to
kick it up a notch in a warm-up set or be danced to while nding yourself at an afterhour.

When  DFC TEAM (PERSI, COLLINO & GEMOLOTTO)  started their Atahualpa project Techno Music was far to be a cool trend in the venues. Even more innovative was to mash up acoustic, electronic,  traditional instruments as Peruvian panflutes and synthesizers while  evocative voices drive listeners to the world of last Inca emperor.
It was in 1990 when  ULTIMO IMPERIO by ATAHUALPA topped   in several countries around the world  becoming a milestone in the dance music history.

Bucharest's electronic scene is surely flourishing these days. New artists, new sounds and ,not least, new labels appear almost every day. It was time for old comrades Piticu and Herodot to start one of their own. Unanim is the name they've unanimously chosen to represent them. First come out the sounds of piticu wich are rather techno and agressive. It's time to dance on both sides of tipic ep and we unanimously like the ideea. Der untergang seems to be a classic techno track, if that track was made by Piticu of course. Raw elements run a long way before downfalling into a brilliant lead.

Micro phonia is the quiet one, but actually it's not quiet at all. Here the bassline is the hook. the track grows and grows, adding layer after layer of twilight on the trippy percussion, only to end in a mystic dark note.

Our fifth release brings on a very special project in the form of Raresh, Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons together as Verico. The Numiris EP consists of a collection of three live studio recordings, with additional editing and arrangement done by Vlad Caia.

Numiris EP is a different sound from what Amphia enthusiasts have become accustomed to, never the less, we hope you will find it appealing to your senses.
