Tandem Records is a new imprint of Romanian artists Olivian Nour and Clarkent.
The guys deliver two banging tracks, Doomitru and Nemuritoru.

In the last few years, Suolo haven’t stopped contributing to the volatile and vibrant scene of electronic music of Romania and over the borders of it, shaping his productions into something that is now distinctive to a trained ear. What’s good about him? His love for compressed bass-lines? His ability to intrigue? We think both of them + even more. The release in case is nothing than a proof of that.



From what we know, both Tarantism and Mirror Dance do not belong to 2019 or 2018 either. We’ve got our hands on some earlier creations of his which with no surprise are actual until today and are definitely representatives of his. A side outsets with an opaque bass, giving a long enough moment of adjustation for the listener therefore avoiding any discomfort as to the development of the piece in the future. Not too long after the the low tones set in, a strand of claps come out, clearly indicating the direction of the piece. Everything cited above is reverberating in a melodic crawl way of atmospheric provenience. We found ourselves in a safe-house somewhere far away from the day-to-day game.



Mirror Dance is a composition of certainty and very self driven dynamic, layers blending one with another, creating new beginnings within the same partition. He crafts the elements into an uptempo string like rhythm, bouncing from one of the side of the room to another with absolute easiness. His usual accentuated drum line is present but it’s not the front of this piece as Suolo is actually leading the morphosis of the chantic side. Ingredients that seemed to be pointy and acute at the beginning are getting to be a part of warmly saturated and harmonious open space wander around.

When instrumental parts are more powerful than lyrics, thats the perfect scenario for Gigi Testa, goin' deep, with a full dub edit of “Sentimentally it’s You”. Owner of the legendary store A1 Records in New York City and Boss of Dailysession label, Toshi aka Monchan is very welcome for his first cut with a beautiful dub edit of "Snapshot”.

Paolo Rocco touches down on the PIV Limited series and follows up two succesfull previous releases that were both sold out quickly.

Paolo once again shows his diversity and delivers us two very strong tracks on the A-side with "On Me" as stand-out track.
Also on this killer package you will find a rare minimalistic remix from Makcim & Levi and to complete the B-side we've got Toman showing why he is a man to watch.

12th Release from GIANT RECORDS is from BASEMENT UK - Abian Saavedra and Brando Morales are two young producers that hail from the Canary islands and both have a massive love and respect for the early UK HOUSE & GARAGE sound - hence their name. Their track - GANGSTA - lends itself to the above mentioned sound and could surely stand the test of time among those early classics and it reminds us of an early Grant Nelson Nice&Ripe groove, Wicked swinging drums and hats that all sit comfortably on a low sub bass and spoken word jam. The next mix of GANGSTA is from long time Giant favorite TOM GILLIERON - Tom's mix is dark and twisted with hidden layers that swell and grow through the track - his mix builds and builds with a subtle use of the original vocal which then turns into a trippy late night slice of dark magic - Tom's sound is 100% on the button on this mix - EXCEPTIONAL ! The following mix is from long standing Tech-House master - JAY TRIPWIRE - Jays mix takes us on a 303 Acid ride into a heady state of affairs, twisting and turning the dial until the point of break - a serious peak time killer. The last mix falls on DAVID HOLNESS - keeping the essence of the original but adding more punch and a heavy weight bottom end and sweet Techno pads - that will sure to rock many a dance floor. For the fifth EP on VL Recordings, Hector presents Romanian DJ/ Producer, Mahony.

Mahony is best known for being at the helm of the Romanian techno scene as the chief booker for Sunwaves Festival, and Kristal Club where he had his first brush with the electronic music scene as a young and aspiring DJ producer.

It all started for Mahony as a resident of Kudos Beach Club in Mamaia the home of Romania's most beloved underground festival, Sunwaves. With a season full of great gigs behind him, word spread over to Kristal Club and they soon snapped him up as a resident and he finally got to share the decks with the great artists he admired in the club when he cut his teeth on the party scene

Fast-forward to 2016 and Mahony is not only is he continuing to put Kristal Club and Sunwaves on the map, he is touring worldwide with Hector and his Vatos Locos crew playing for events at BPM, Sonar, and Club Der Visionaere Berlin, as well as gigs in New York, Montreal, Argentina, Dubai and Paris.

For his contribution to VL Recordings, Mahony serves up three tracks that pay homage to his Romanian roots. On the remix duties he has called on two masters of their craft, Livio & Roby and Guti who both make their VL Recordings debut.

Komenco is the first EP of the new parisian minimal vinyl only label nifo records. This EP is composed of 4 tracks produced by french artists, each track got his style which allows Komenco to be a complete EP where you can play the 4 tracks in the same set.

Theory Of Swing Records makes his debut first release with a pack of 5 Old School House cuts from the south Italian groove machine St. David, showcasing his new label idea, with five strong club tracks from the sound and the warmness of the 90's flava..everything recorded with his Killer MPC2000xl.

Pedro Goya continues his personal series with this gem from his and Magazino(previously Del Costa) back from 2003.

16 years later, "Freaky Mike" continues to make wonders on the Dancefloor, still being played worldwide by names like Anthea, Apollonia, Del Garda (and many more).

On the B Side you will find the first demo mix and never before released version of "Freaky Mike" which sound as actual as if it was produced today.
