OTE step it up a notch once more with their third release. Irish producers Mix & Fairbanks deliver a dancefloor bomb, while label mainstay Jimmy Rouge dips his toes in afro acid.

One of the standout tracks from Atjazz & Jullian Gomes’ ‘Big Bad Crazy’ release ‘It’s My Time’ gets the remix treatment from Freerange / Delusions Of Grandeur head honcho Jimpster.

Taking the skipping and soulful grooves of the original, Jimpster reworks the percussion into a techier, driving rhythm, adding mesmerising quick-fire arps whilst chopping and stuttering the vocals to add to the glitchy IDM aesthetic of the remix.

The flipside houses the instrumental version that lets the sweeping, celestial undertones and synth squiggles breath, keeping choice elements of those fragmented vocal snippets in the mix for added texture.

John Beltran is welcomed into the MotorCity Wine Recordings family with his sun-drenched and soulful debut entitled "Back To Bahia". Titled after his MCW residency of the same name, the release combines Deep House, Jazz, Boogie, and, of course, música popular Brasileira flavors to welcome the sunshine into your life.

After the success of his latest release on Tropical Disco Records, Javi Frias is back to his own label Night Shift Records with a new EP of disco reworks featuring four obscure tracks that have now obtained a new life after passing through the hands of the Madrid producer. A side starts with 'Universal Sound' a super soulful disco tune with a house feel, perfect to dance with the hands in the air, and 'On Fire' has that boogie groove that makes you move. On the B side you can find 'Guitar Jam', a little funky number full of nice breaks and superb (obviously) guitar licks and the EP ends with 'Really Need To Talk', an amazing modern soul song that you will not be able to get out of your head in the coming months. Another sure shot release by the owl label!

UK born, Australia based DJ & producer Dr Packer, who has garnered worldwide praise and acclaim for his soul, funk and disco edits, gives the Rework treatment to no less than four cuts from the legendary Salsoul Records back catalogue. Disco diva Loleatta Holloway and her mega-hit ‘Runaway’ is updated with a 2020 groove that maintains all the character and uplift of the soul drenched original. Rafael Cameron’s ‘Let’s Get It Off’ is a heavy slice of funk, with Cameron’s powerful gruff vocal front and centre over riffs and strings. Next is Ripple’s ‘The Beat Goes On’ – a shimmering, uptempo disco cut where Dr Packer really exhibits the sound and vibe 70’s dancefloors for contemporary ears while in-house collective The Salsoul Orchestra get ‘You’re Just The Right Size’ reworked: the lush percussive beats and elegant orchestral work are brightened up and who can resist that sultry vocal hook? Dr Packer once again reworks his magic to perfection.

The psychedelia of Purple Desert Rain God is playful and innovative in a way that brings early Pink Floyd to mind, where classic blues elements were mixed with tape loops and tremolo/feedback guitars. But more than 50 years has passed since Barret’s trip through universe was caught on tape and the comparison stops there: Purple Desert Rain God is a new take on acid rock!

Purple Desert Rain God is nature music and transcendental dance music and they overlap between genuine psychedelia and electronic music with filter sweeps on guitars and drums. Sudden bursts of drum fills brakes the monotonous groove and amplifies the feeling of lost control and the band often balances on what is considered a beat that is on time. However, they keep momentum and hammers the pulse on your eardrums, into your mind.

To add some more mystery the band gives this explanation to their name: "Deep in the purple desert is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the Rain God is always one step beyond logic."

London-based duo, Jive Talk, have unveiled their latest EP, ’Cheap Knock Offs EP’ – the second release on their own vinyl-only imprint, Not For You, which is anything but what the title suggests. Rolling with a typically sultry underground disco swagger, their latest three-track release, is a dose of downright disco goodness of the highest calibre, ready for every dance floor.

Opening with a smooth house number in ‘Love Right’, this permeating entanglement of percolating acid basslines and deep, eloquent vocals instantly sets the mood for what to expect here. Feel-good vibes are the order of the day as ‘Erol’s Chocolate’ swiftly follows up with some sleek, crisp drum patterns and fervent vocals that forge an irresistible disco-house jam with some real soul about it, before ‘Just Got To Be Me’ closes out proceedings with a deep, rattling groover that sums the EP up perfectly.

The relationship between Calypso and Vilnius is quite strong. This is why this time they invited local talent Plot Pilot to share a release with label boss Thomass Jackson. The A side is Jackson's time to deliver his two edits. First one is a bongo driven, afro robotic vocals, breakish trance extravaganza. While the second one goes straight for the chin with it's vocals who comand you to work work work! The lithuanian boys deliver a cosmic bomb full of psicodelic guitars and bleepy noises on their first one and for the second one the pay tribute with a to the lithuanian seaside where every summer the famous Ant Bangos festival takes place.

Making a return to the Editorial Waxed series is none other than Mexico's Hotmood. Having been lighting up the world with his reworks for a minute now, he splits the EP with the label’s own Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee for the 'Funk Brothers' EP.

Opening the record is a newcomer to Editorial, the UK’s very own Thatmanmonkz . He kicks things off with a remix of Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee's slo-mo classic 'Shades of Blue', pushing the tempo and taking it into a fabulously darker club workout.

Next up, Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee dial the tempo way back in customary style, with slinky hi-hats, funky claves and flute melodies. They top things off by adding their own Fender Rhodes to the mix resulting in a sunny, poolside cocktail number on 'Cantina'.

Flip the plate and Hotmood's side kicks off with the disco dance floor monster 'Chico Shake'. A bouncy bass line leads with a vocal urging you to 'shake it', as a horn line drives the point home. His second track 'El Artista', leverages the same groovy flute riff as seen on 'Cantina' while this version retains the decidedly uptempo dance floor aesthetic.

All in all, this EP touches on a number of flavours while providing tastemakers the tools to keep any discerning dance floor shaking!

Venice-based producer, DJ and sound designer, Bottin puts his Italian flavour on this package of supercharged disco edits for Wonder Edits that moves from cosmic to tribal, forest throwdown to jungle march.

Inspired heavily by Isaac Hayes' underground Disco smash "I Can't Turn Around", a record that was very big in various Chicago clubs getting plays from DJ's like Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles and more. With "Love Can't Turn Around" Farley and Jesse re-appropriated Hayes' Disco vibe and updated it with drum machines, synths and of course, Mr.Darryl Pandy's unique vocal performance centering around the desperation of a lover who has been wronged. A truly influential track that opened the doors for many producers and DJ's in the decades to follow.

Here, for the first time, the definitive mixes of this all time classic record are available in one place.

Mono Han are brothers Alessandro and Davide, who collectively have a deep and long understanding of electronic music. Davide is a co-founder of N.O.I.A, one of Italy’s first electronic live acts to perform and record with drum machines and synths as early as 1978. He was also behind seminal Italo outfit Klein + M.B.O and proto-house hit “Dirty Talk”. Alessandro, following in his brother’s footsteps was inevitable and he too became hooked on the incredible new sound palette emanating from the early electronic machines.

Since then they have released under an array of aliases, have clocked up numerous club hits and this project brings them back to their 80’s roots.

It surely must be a pretty special DJ mixtape if a label sees the need for a regular release - in this age of total download overload, it's just something you don't do anymore. But along comes REBOLLEDO and proves everybody wrong with the MOMENTO DRIVE mix CD, a persuasive plea for a nearly forgotten format and a high point for a vanishing art form. In fact, we were so enamored with the exquisite selection that we decided to take three extra rare cuts from the mix and put them on vinyl for the MEMENTO DRIVE EP - an intimate look into Rebo's secrecy-shrouded DJ crate and a dream come true for any aspiring deck shark.

Gator Boots returns with two dancefloor ready edits of African legend Fela Kuti brought to you by Rudimental member Piers Aggets’ new Rotate38 project.

‘Brooklyn Baby’ hits all the right chords from the off. With that New York skyline in sight, jazz infused keys, dream-like pads and swooning vocal snippets take you to a rooftop blowout looking out over the Kings County.

Flip it over, for a thumping, disco channelling, house belter aptly named ‘Love Ecstasy’, that’s sure to become a staple across the scene.

Originally written and produced as the centrepiece to his 2014 FabricLive compilation, Erol Alkan’s ‘Sub Conscious' arrives on 12” vinyl and to streaming platforms for the first time, accompanied by two charismatic remixes from Manfredas.

Shimmering and undulating, the original cut of ‘Sub Conscious’ was designed with Fabric’s cavernous main room in mind, taking full advantage of any finely tuned soundsystem with a patient, rhythmic trip. Remastered here, the track evolves out of hazy darkness towards halcyon euphoria in a uniquely Alkan style.

Resident at Opium Club in Vilnius, cult DJ and producer Manfredas provides two hugely creative and alternative takes on ‘Sub Conscious’. The first works hallucinatory magic with a supple bassline and much of Alkan’s original stretched and repurposed around vampish oscillations and a westward vocal sample.

On the contrary, the ‘Stream Of Consciousness' mix sees Manfredas pitch down and strum the bones of ‘Sub Conscious’, unexpectedly delivering a lovingly lethargic, bottom-heavy jam that’s pure dub-side pleasure.

Giorgio Records is really proud to present the first official reissue of the experimental project GAG, from 1983, which includes two very different songs. Flyin’ Bolero is spacey and hypnotic while P.T. Dance is lively, and perfect for disco nights. Unknown and obscure, these two tracks are cataloged as Italo Disco tracks but go further. As always, Giorgio Records enriches the reissue with two remixes. Flyin’ Bolero has been entrusted to Armonics, Bari producer and great artist. P.T. Dance to Kid Machine.

Bogota based venue Kaputt kicks starts the label side of things with seven track compilation featuring Alejandro Paz, Nuclear Digital Transistor, Eddie Mercury & Mijo, Rodion, Kabinett, Damon Jee & Ravintsara, Alvaro Cabana & Julian Sanza.

Born from the new Bogota based club who’ve invited the likes of Call Super, Axel Boman, Kornel Kovacs and more, Kaputt launch a brand new label from the enigmatic streets of Colombia’s capital.
Bogota is a place where the underground scene has recently built a new sound of resistance, a sound that sets the local scene alight through unity and community and is now moving on to break down
international borders.

First up is Alejandro Paz, a Chilean musician and DJ whose music is characterized by vocal displacement and musical selection, full of dark Latin American material. His track 'Bogotá' is a lively
dark disco cut with rugged bass and angular rhythms that are finished with some acid melodies. Eddie Mercury then links with Mexican Mijo for the frazzled bass and dystopian bleep-disco cascades of the
excellent 'Chundify.'

The Nuclear Digital Transistor duo is two DJs from the Bogota scene, Pal and Pizarro, who have released on the Ombra International label run by Curses. Their 'Borrador 9' is cosmic groove with crisp
boom bap drums, hits and plenty of stepping arps that reach for the skies. Rodion is from Rome and is regarded as the “new genius of Italian Dance music” after releases on Gomma, Eskimo and City
Slang. He shows why with the chugging dark disco anthem and freaky vocals of 'Processare.'

Critical Monday boss Damon Jee has released on the likes of Correspondant Records, Roam and Hafendisco and is well regarded by from the likes of Joris Voorn to Chris Liebing. Here he links with
Ravintsara for 'Medea' which is filled with post-punk energy, tense synth progressions and real dance floor darkness. Next up is Kabinett, the darkest side of Colombia’s Nicolás Saavedra, co-founder of Nomada Records and someone who offers up 'Don Kebab' here - a skyward track with big disco arps and twisted bass all gliding along and getting the floor under its spell. Last of all, Alvaro Cabana &
Julian Sanza link for 'Psychedelic Advise' which is moody and haunting, with stark hits and metallic synths that ride over rugged and macho drums

2020 sees Future Disco release number 13 in the eagerly anticipated compilation series. Displaying a fresh cover from the new artistic direction as part of their 10 year celebration in 2019, the album Visions of Love also shows off fresh sounds and exclusive tracks from a selection of exciting talent.



Visions of Love is for everybody seeking something new and exploring exciting opportunities. Future Disco has always managed to weave that line of interesting and partystarting and on this album it’s no different. Disco has always been about uniting the dance-floor and Future Disco embody this spirit with a cross selection of sounds and artists.



They find plenty of future rising stars with Stockholm’s Kornel Kovacs, Chicago’s Chrissy and Paris’s Yuksek all comfortably sitting alongside more established names as Kenny Dope remixing Moon Boots, Lane 8 and Kraak &Smaak.

Disco deliverance of the highest order once again from Moton Records Inc. Diesel and Dave Jarvis work their wonders on these three cuts with the A side taken in full by ‘US Lover’, a sleazed up, foot stomper of a boogie workout that’s straight sweltering from start to finish – just listen to that bass!

Flip it over to find two jazz funk gems made up of the beaming pinball concoction that is ‘Hysteric Glamour’, and the raw grooves, jaunty jazz keys and synth touches of ‘Marabou’. Essential, as always.

Whether you are still locked down, meeting close friends or gathering with small groups of party people in this new post-corona world, you will find plenty to love in this new package of vinyl-only remixes from Hell Yeah. Keeping mellow acid lovers happy are Calm's Still Dreaming mix of his brother Kenkou's 2004 cut 'Everlasting Dreams' and then his very own Extended Mix of Deadbundy's 'Lorenz'.

Of course, Calm is Japanese artist Fukagawa Kiyotaka, someone who has been making deep house, ambient and downtempo grooves since the late nighties. He is a legend of the game famous for his deeply dug out and immersive mixes and his current Oasis @ Home series is vital for lockdown listening. He is compiling a collection of contemporary Japanese meets balearic jams due for release next year, when he will come over to Europe to tour in support of it. But first, this…

The a-side is a psychedelic balearic guitar jam for the evolved and mature DJ and it is steeped in gently acid lushness. Over 11 minus it washes away all anxiety and douses you in rippling guitars and sun kissed rhythms that transport you to the Med in an instant. The b-side is a remix of a cult cut by Japanese band Deadbundy from Gifu. Calm flips it into an unbelievably groovy and chunky number with great pop hooks. The rubbery drums do their thing down low to make you move, while the warmth of the bass and the funk of the riffs oil the groove. It's open air, hands in the air, heart swelling music for good times.

Hibernation's over and deep cover resurfaces in these strange times with two tested tweaks from a fan beyond la manche... a sublime striped steed needs answers but the well's run dry in the big apple. zut alors!

Written in 2012 using just a MicroKorg and a mic, “Penguins Can’t Fly” is a magnificent slice of italo disco and a tribute to the Ghent based italo night Pingwing. It became a bit of a local underground hit which lead to Club Mayz performing it live at one of the parties at SMAK Ghent – once. The track never saw the light of day before so we’re stoked to announce this 7inch containing the original version backed with a powerful instrumental on the flip.

Techno, Disco, Italo, Electronics, House, Library, Cosmic and Ambient frequencies - These are the bedrocks of the Midnight Drive ethos and sound. A label shining a light on overlooked or unheralded creations and respectfully reissuing them for the contemporary audience. A label that respects and understands the connection between these disparate and sometimes forgotten forms of musical expression and celebrates them. Midnight Drive are extremely proud to present this most beautiful and unique of records - Makers 'Don't Challenge Me' - A truly idiosyncratic early 70's electronic oddity that has long been a coveted and highly prized piece of music by obscure music lovers for many years.

Makers was the moniker for another studio project by legendary euro-disco pioneer Boris Midney. Midney, a Russian ex-pat, explored his own sonic world and in the process crafted some of the biggest records during the most fertile times in the disco period, he created numerous projects including Beautiful Bend, USA-European Connection, Caress and many more.

A classically trained musician and jazz artist, his trail-blazing studio work meant he was one of the first producers to embrace the capabilities of multi-track mixing in a most creative way. Listening to this 45, a limited release on his own 'Midney' micro label, you can certainly hear genius at work, it's mind boggling that this record was crafted when it was (1972) as it sounds totally ahead of it's time and sounds exciting and original to this day. Truly one of the scarcest records of it's kind we were extremely humbled to be able to work with Boris and his organisation on this very special reissue that has been a collaborative effort all the way. This reissue has been repressed from Boris' own masters and every care has been taken to ensure that this lo-fi oddity sounds as good and clear as possible and the label artwork is a close rendering to the original as a respective nod to Boris and the Midney imprint by our friends Atelier Superplus. This is the very first time this record has ever been reissued (it was included on the most incredible 'Personal Space' compilation from a few years ago) and people will be very surprised to hear the b-side for the very first time - 'You're Shy' - A sweet soul number that almost recalls The Staple Singers and could easily have been released on Stax or any familiar labels of that ilk that somehow manages to retain the strange and overall DIY aesthetic of the 'Makers' sound.

Rick Holmes’ breath-taking track, ‘Remember To Remember’ gets its first ever officially licensed, remastered reissue on Gold Mink Records. With prices of the original topping £60 this one will be a welcome sight for many.

Title track, ‘Remember To Remember’ is a celestial, emboldening downtempo cut. Beginning with the timeless line, ‘Pass the information, extend the knowledge…’ Rick dives into a spoken word stream of inspirational black artists and key figures whose most memorable words and song titles are framed into snippets of wisdom that get ever more significant the greater in number they become. A powerful monologue, in Rick’s warm reassuring tones, shining a light on those men and women who have made ‘strong contributions to mankind because of their compassion and humanitarianism’, laid over instrumentation you lose yourself in just as easily.

Latin America. The latest signing from the region is fresh Ecuadorian talent
ORDONEZ, resident of the world famous Lost Beach Club. THE SPELL EP
is definitely one of the biggest releases of 2015 so far, which says a lot as it has been
an amazing year so far!
THE SPELL
Smooth grooving percussion pushes this track along while ORDONEZ weaves in the
melody from a gritty Rhodes organ and adds to the magic with spiracles of electric
piano. But then, the seductive vocals come to the front and the whole track opens up
to become one of the catchiest tunes of the year. The drop after the long break is
just... no words can describe it! House Music all night long, yeeeah!
HOW YOU DOING
Next up is a funky sample-lead house burner. Nice earthy drums and a catchy guitar
riff offer a warm vibe for smiles and laughter on the dance floor. ORDONEZ clearly
has a very creative mind and this is demonstrated here with his intricate and creative
use of sampling and arrangement. Another very strong offering from the newest
member of the Mother Recordings family.

SUPERLOVER - the man who brought us Steam' - one of last year's biggest
tracks on MOTHER RECORDINGS - is back in full force this summer with a
new two-track EP. The Berlin born and based producer has brought us
another solid release that is perfect for the outdoor festival season. The
