The brand new label from Tokyo 'INFODUMP' drops new era House producer testa's debut EP and it comes with a superb OOFT! remix. testa a.k.a. Takuro Hasumi has been a part of Tokyo and Yokohama area club scene as a DJ and Live act, whose tracks have been picked up in Beats In Space and Bill Brewster's DJ History Podcast and in 2013. his track was in Tom Tom Disco's 1st compilation alongside with Avanti(Porn Wax), Iñigo Vontier (NEIN/Correspondant) and etc. Title track 'Losing My Illusions' is a heavy tune. Detroit-ish flutter drums and fat synth bass invite us to dope funky grooves, but looped voice samples and spacey synth works remind of Deep House/Nu Disco cliché at the same time. Scottish House master OOFT!, whose music has been released on labels the world over like Instruments Of Rapture, Wolf Music and Let's Play House, succeeded to make original's House feelings further deeper.

Say the label: 'This is our favourite Harmonious Thelonious 12" ever! All four tracks are original and self contained, both in relation to the other and to electronic music in general! The sounds are deep and delicate at once, there is never a standard kick... infectious rhythms... interlocking patterns, made of sounds from diverse sources.' Each record includes one of two risograph prints featuring a lino cut by the artist.

Moullinex is back with his finest album up to date, HYPERSEX, a collective love letter to club culture and its celebration of difference, freedom and love. In his third length, Moullinex reached out to several guest singers: Fritz Helder (Azari & III), Georgia Anne Muldrow (Flying Lotus, Mos Def), Iwona Skwarek (Rebeka), Best Youth, Marta Ren, Da Chick, UhAhUh and Tee Flowers, crafting a uniquely fresh piece that combines many of his musical influences, from the funk, groove and sunshine of his debut "Flora" to the psychedelia and tropicalia of 'Elsewhere'. Moullinex is the alter ego of the Portuguese producer and multiinstrumentalist Luis Clara Gomes. He's established himself as one of the leading artists in the modern disco scene, with several singles such as 'Take My Pain Away' and 'Maniac' ft. Peaches, and remixes of acts like Røyksopp, Cut Copy, Two Door Cinema Club and Grammyawarded artist RAC. The road to HYPERSEX has been paved by various singles and videos in 2017, expanding the spirit of collaboration to directors and visual artists, and gathered wide support from international tastemakers across the globe, including Vice, NPR, KCRW, Triple J, Majestic Casual, Les Inrockuptibles and Tsugi Mag. HYPERSEX is like Hypertext between humans, a system designed to multiply ideas and connections between people. The dance floor is the perfect medium.

Pittsburgh Tracks returns with a collaboration between label heads Pittsburgh Track Authority and Nice Rec of
East Liberty Quarters and Harmony Society Records.

The PGH boys release 2 from their personal stash: "I'm A Dancer" builds up spacey synths and funky bass, only to explode into a heavy horn riff guaranteed to take the party to the next level.

For their fourth release on Compost, SIREN, (Darshan Jesrani and Dennis Kane) offer up Lulu. A haunting and driven song with an emotionally lacquered vocal from Devi Mamboka. The song also features elegant guitar work from Danny Chavis of The Veldt (His twin brother Daniel sang vocals on SIREN'S first release) bass from SIREN engineer supreme Mark Dann, and percussion from Liquid Liquid front man Salvatore Principato. The Italian disco- and cosmic pioneers Daniele Baldelli and Marco Dionigi joined forces for an extraordinary timeless smoothly grooving re-interpretation of Lulu.

Brian Ellis known for his collaborations with legends Egyptian Lover, Howard Johnson also the modern funk contemporaries like Zackey Force Funk and XL Middleton, 'Mirror/Mirror' showcases Brian's handling of all instruments, vocals, mixing and production. Drawing from classic 70s west coast AOR to obscure french library music and early 80s funk presenting a timeless contemporary sound. Combining analog synths (Oberheim OB8, Minimoog Model D, Yamaha DX7, and more), live guitar, intricate drumming, smooth vocals with excellent songwriting have come together like never before. Sure to be a classic record in the years to come.

Fouk are finally back on Heist after their great 'Kill Frenzy' EP in 2014 and have taken Mount Liberation Unlimited along for a remix.

We've been waiting patiently for new material, challenging the guys to take the signature 'Fouk' sound to the next level. Fouk's brilliance has been obvious on recent work for their own label Outplay and Razor 'n Tape, as well as their respective solo projects. We've kept a close connection, teaming up whenever possible for Heist showcases, with highlights in Amsterdam's "Claire" and Paris' "Concrete". Seeing their work and enthusiasm made it abundantly clear that it would only be a matter of time before they'd show us what the next step would look -or better yet- sound like.

Anticipation ran high but boy, do Fouk deliver. The excellent 'With lasers' EP still very much portrays their own style of loose, live percussion and many layers of funk, but they've expanded their vision and even toughened up a bit.
Their new taste for grit and an interest in the heavier side of funk is probably most evident on the opener 'F3000', where a thunderous arpeggio is supported by distorted drums and lush cosmic synth stabs. Title track 'With lasers' is more of a classic Fouk track, combining a lovely walking disco bassline and their signature drum programming with... erm... lasers. Lots of them.

The B side 'See you on the other side' sets a different pace, carefully blending guitar licks, rhodesy chords and vocal chops into a lovely groove that feels just as carefree and improvised as it feels exciting. Swedish synth nerds "Mount Liberation Unlimited" ran with it and transformed it into a dreamy -Pepe Bradock goes balearic- track where airy echoed guitars take turns with some equally dreamy and evocative pads. A real nice closing to an EP smothered in funk.

One of the most mysterious and outsider 'Soca' 45s out there by H.M. 'These Eyes' Timothy.
The A-side 'Let Me Love' sounds like doo wop recorded with Oluko Imo's gear. And the B-side 'Soca Hustle' sounds like the Residents jamming a Marvin Whoremonger song with Augustus Pablo. The original 45 is so obscure that even his siblings didn't know that he made music. And rumour has it that, frustrated by its lack of success, Michael threw most of the copies of the 45 in the valley beside his family's house in the hills just outside Port Of Spain. One-time pressing of 500 copies.

Three major players from the now multi-generational broken beat scene: Henry Wu, Dego (2000black) and IG Culture have assembled for an irresistible late summer bruk-samba trip.Brazilian rhythms have always been foundational influences on the broken-beat and future jazz movements, and this EP continues to explore these connections, a running theme throughout Far Out's 23 year history with Seiji, Mark Pritchard, Afronaught, Domu, Da Lata and Jazzanova being just a few of the names to have contributed to this particular avenue of the label's pantheon of dance music.The joyful samba-soul in the title track of Sabrina Malheiros' latest album features the bass and keys of Brazilian Jazz-funk legends Azymuth, and is inspired by the quest for clarity in the face of difficult times, Clareia in Sabrina's own words means to clear, light, brighten or illuminate'. But this remix EP beautifully ruptures the 'clarity' in style, each crafting the breezy Brazilian beats into their own distinct brand of future-thinking club-funk... these beats were made to be broken!

Lag Records are delighted to announce our first official release, a reissue of the 1986 single Neo-plant by Koharu Kisaragi and Ryuichi Sakamoto, licensed by King Records Ltd co,. Japan. The first and only single taken from Koharu Kisaragi's Tokai No Seikatsu LP, was cowritten and produced by the Academy Award winning musician, composer and producer Ryuichi Sakamoto, best known for his contribution in the pioneering electronic group Yellow Magic Orchestra and has musical scores for Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, The Last Emperor and The Revenant.
Singer, songwriter, dramatist and theater director Koharu Kisaragi sadly passed away 14 years after her very short musical career, single Neo-plant and her LP Tokai No Seikatsu her musical legacy. Ryuichi Sakamoto after featuring on over two hundred different releases over four decades is still creating music in varying capacities. His most recent 16th solo effort async has been met with fantastic reviews.A-side Neo-Plant is a sample heavy, avant-garde, synth pop piece driven by early hip hop and dancehall rhythms. The B-side is a completely different affair, Traumerei a minimalist piece takes more from Japanese folk with Koharu's voice swooning over bassoon melodies, finally Tail is a new age gone in a flash instrumental.Neo-plant has been cut using the original master tapes by King Records engineers in Japan. The record comes with all its original artwork including the obi and insert with English and Japanese lyrics on standard black 12' vinyl.

Four #1 tracks together on one 12"! Mark Funk and Danny Cruz - My Givin My Love was a huge release for us. Peter Bropwn Funkospehere is doing the nastty to your ear hole, while the B side tracks from DJ Mes and Hazzaro will work the dancefloor into a frenzy.

On the flip, Shan churns through metallic stabs and primed drum sequences for the devious 'Version 1.' Shan spent close to four years perfecting 'Version 1' through various dancefloor demos, no more evident than in the stunning arc of this sought after jam.

Here at Plastique Recordings we have pressed up some very limited promos of 2 dance floor cuts of the collaboration between legendary synth outfit Soft Cell's Dave Ball with Hifi Sean jamming out an electro NYC Danceteria style number Ultratheque' a homage to Glasgow's first ever laser disco Day Version & Night Version both exclusive to this vinyl.

The Erefora Land" is the first solo record by Johan Kaseta, Lehult founding member. It's a nostalgic, hazy affair where the tracks work both on a dancefloor and as the score to an imaginary Super Nin-tendo RPG. Squelching vocal samples ("Hi!") and bubbling synths are reminiscent of the oldschool, synth-laden nineties game soundtracks young Kaseta still can't get enough of. "The Erefora Land" is like coming across the soundtrack to Earthbound after having forgotten to have ever played it - suddenly a rush of sights, sounds and smells from the past come back to you and gently pull you in. Kaseta takes this nostalgia of the forgotten and puts it into his very own context: shuffling hihats, missed drops - a playful version of house music. Swept up to the shores of Erefora land, you're greeted by "Lei Tindissima". A seductive, blistering track on the verge of falling apart yet always staying groovy and pumping. Being somewhat ambient and airy, yet relentlessly moving, "Erefora Steps" is not just a charm to listen to, it is also one hell of a weapon in the club - tested by yours truly intensively. Grooving on a broken, somewhat latin type of bounce, there are several twists and turns between heavenly pads, psycho-vocals and, of course, echoed airhorns.The third cut, "U Timmi", is a laid back Sunday afternoon jam. Despite being light, smooth and grooving, it's layered samples and micro melodies draw you further into the mysterious sound world of Erefora land.Finally, "Me times U" could almost be the theme tune of "Erefora Land", it's blissful chords so close to a conclusion yet always behind a veil of waterfalls, trickling shakers and swooping filters.

Hot on the heels of the MOONBUILDING 2703 AD REMIXES / SIN IN SPACE PT. 1 (KOMPAKT 336), pioneering duo THE ORB receives a royal remix treatment by PRINS THOMAS: for ALPINE DISKOMIKS / SIN IN SPACE PT. 2, the Norwegian disco king reworked the cut - Alpine Evening from The Orb's most recent release ALPINE (KOMPAKT 339) and infused it with his trademark floor magic, turning the psychedelic stomper into a well-oiled, highly energetic dance machine. It's not the first time that Prins Thomas revisits material from Kompakt artists (following his excellent work on Justus Köhncke and Vermont), but it certainly ranks among his very best (and most propulsive) efforts to date. The main DISKOMIKS gets backed by two versions on the flip side: the SIMPLER TOOL FOR DJ FOOLS scratches that string itch, while the SHORT YOGA BREAK drops the beats altogether for extended atmospheric immersion - a perfect way to close this round of remixes for The Orb.

Danny Krivit's name has been synonymous with quality, underground dance music for many decades now.
His roles as re-edit pioneer, legendary NYC disc jock and all around music obsessive have long been written about.
Danny is approaching 45 years as a DJ, almost half a century behind the decks across the world and he shows no sign in stopping anytime soon fortunately! Quite fitting then, that he has opened up his personal, private archive of re-edits for all of us Disco fiends to enjoy and play over and over with this limited, fully licensed 12" release.
Any self respecting Disco head should be familiar with the name Voyage. Releasing on Miami's legendary TK Disco imprint as well as numerous other well known labels, Voyage have a dedicated cult following for their percussion heavy euro Disco sounds. Here Mr.K takes on one of their most famous cuts on the A-side - "Lady America" and teases all of the best bits about this uptempo anthem out into the open and straight onto the dancefloor! Breaks are elongated, the right parts are looped in just the right way and the tracks momentum is pushed right through the roof, a Disco bomb indeed! On the B-side we have "Point Zero", a smorgasbord of Afro percussions, chants and rhythms that will literally tear the roof off any club! again DK has tweaked this monster track in all the right places adding his magical editing touch with love and respect, essential stuff and a total dancefloor weapon!
Both tracks contained on this 12" have been fully licensed and legitimately reissued in conjunction with Danny Krivit / TK Disco. These edits have been lovingly reworked by Danny with dancers and DJ's alike in mind. A very special release indeed and one that all Disco heads will undoubtedly be excited to see in the shops! Essential release.

Calypso is the new label from INigo Vontier (Mx) and Thomass Jackson (Arg) which will focus on promoting latinamerican artists. With a solid background from both artists releasing on labels like Turbo, Correspondant, Gomma, Her Majestys Ship, My Favorite Robot and many more, Calypso promesses to deliver an inmersion into some of the best of the underground latinamerican electronic scene. Calypso "Volumen 1" features different artists including them both. Opening up we have "Transitions" from Mendrix (Mx) with a slowburn opener where enigmatic guitars take the lead role, then comes Monterrey's new kid Colossio delivering "Esta en Mi" with it's weirdo vocals and hypnotic basslines. For the B side Thomass Jackson gives us "Fantomas", a creepy funky track that will fit perfectly for Dracula's birthday and last but not least INigo Vontier takes us through a dark tunnel of creepy beats and dreamy arpeggios.

When we started Heist a few years back, our idea was to give a stage to talent in a same way as we have had a helping hand by the labels that have supported us from the beginning. Therefore, it's our pleasure to share this release with you by newcomers 'Ouer', a Berlin based duo with only a handful of tracks out so far on their self released debut last year. Their approach to producing is very much jam based, and with a compact collection of synths, drum machines and a fair level of distortion, they succeed in creating their own sound with hints of classic electronic music from Chicago and Detroit. There's a nice mix of energy on the whole EP, 'The ascent being the most driving track of the package'. Fans of classics MCDE tracks will love 'Show off' with it's dreamy DX7 style chords and cracking acid lines. 'Move over' feels like a jam session that was way too much fun with some lovely solo work on the synths, whereas 'Mess around' goes down in similar free-ride style on the synths and again, has some lovely sampling going on. It's a pleasure to introduce Tony Rainwater - undoubtedly the most productive and creative savage we've come across recently. See usually we don't do this, Lehult is a crew affair, but this guy left us no choice. Being a music enthusiast, DJ and dancer for a long time, Tony has only most recently picked up producing his own music, yet at a stunning rate: When we first asked him for a demo - three months after he started producing - he swiftly dropped us a set of twenty-five tracks, another set of fifty more soon followed. His productions are straight rough edged, no-prisoners-taken Jams, combining samples from the most far-flung corners of his eclectic music collection. His magical patchwork wild style is on full display on his debut "Rockberry Jam" EP for Lehult. The A-Side takes us through the lighter side of his repertoire with the title tracks slow building house groove, some dizzy medieval monk grooves on "To All The World" and seductive R&B on "Lay It On The Line". On the flip "Operalight" irresistible groove and "Black Dream Flowers" provide some darker moments, before "Alone" closes on a soft note. The Vinyl version includes an extra goodie after the runout's. Tony is now a fixed member of the crew already and we're proud to have him and his crazy energy on the team. This won't be the last you'll hear of him.

Vodka drinking, disco loving SHMLSS turn in a right couple of slammers for volume 7 in the To Rack and Ruin series.

Bart & Michiel (AKA SHMLSS) are two young city guys from Utrecht brought together through their love of Disco.
They have already had some great releases on Disco Deviance and Midnight Riot and we're proud to have them on board the good ship To Rack & Ruin.
Hand Sprayed - Limited 12"

Seeing as Public Release is a San Francisco label and sister to Face, a long-running local party, you could say it was inevitable the label would put out a record that candidly celebrates its hometown's talent, color, character. 415-PR10, whose name is an ode to S.F.'s first, emblematic area code, is exactly that: a frenetic survey of some of Northern California's finest producers— and a blueprint of sorts for more similarly-minded and -themed EPs in the future.
The 12-inch gets warmed up with an uncharacteristically brief yet captivating nugget of West Coast-tinted Balearica by Anonstop, a mysterious entity whose debut release was a pair of edits on the cult imprint Blackdisco that came out five years ago. Then, 40 Thieves, a collective of some of the region's most lauded and sought-after diggers, rev things up and settle into cruise control with Cage & Aviary's dubby, drifting mix of 'Lower Haighter.' It has a peculiar, crooked patience that sounds like an invitation to seek out all that goes bump in the night.
The strobes begin to flash on the flip with Be´zier's 'Domination,' a swinging Italo disco riot that's as sweaty and frisky as it is focused and no-nonsense. It's a subtly twisted jam that you'll swear played for hours when it sharply ends in a bass-and-hi-hat reprise, which is probably exactly what it was made to do; Be´zier, a.k.a. Robert Yang, is one fourth of Honey Soundsystem, the San Francisco DJ crew that's been throwing parties for over a decade. The EP calls it with the Beat Broker's 'Trade Secrets,' a glittery shuffler that almost serves as a medley of the three cuts it's preceded by. A dollop of velvety kosmische, a cup of slow-mo disco, and a sprinkle of underspoken piano house, it's a freeing way to wrap the four-tracker.

Next up in the series of remixes for Auntie Flo's acclaimed 'Theory of Flo' LP, we've employed the services of our buddies from Stockholm, London and Russia in the form of Kornél Kovács, Throwing Shade and Lipelis respectively. Each of them have done an amazing job turning each track into something very special, as we're sure you'll agree..

Vice takes you up in to a place where people's faces beam with positive emotion. Trippy melodies roll the track ever forward while snapshot samples of the cops radio communications drift in and out of the tight groove.
Ekstasis is a head nodding, eyes closed journey towards your inner self. Listen to the guru and do what he says.

Second release of the new label who discovers unsigned producers from Milan.

Big classic tunes reworked is the theme for the Star Time imprint and this one should be familiar to all, Chaka personifies super star and both Kon & The Reflex flip the anthemic "Im every woman "

Kon's mix stays true to much of the original song with just the right twist of acapellas, bassline's and drum breaks, providing plenty of tension and release that should keep the floor moving.

The Reflex strips things way down and flips the strings up a bit along with the guitar, building a lovely groove that finally brings us into into the verse.

Resident at fabled London clubbing institution Bugged Out, Lemmy Ashton delves into his own expansive collection of house, disco and electro to deliver the first ever release on his much awaited new label, 'TNC'. Consisting of four varied and irresistible dancefloor numbers extensively tweaked and tested on dancefloors across the capital and beyond, TNC001 maintains a timeless feel while capturing the forward thinking approach of one of London's best loved and most versatile DJs. Side A is gunning exclusively for the club. On opening gambit Strut, carefree female vocals remind us, It's all about the rhythm, and the love.' The former is easy to lock into, thanks to an undulating sequence of tasteful kicks and toms, while the latter follows, oozing out of the speakers and onto the dancefloor. Following on with force, 'Vicious' delivers on the promise of it's title, blending a classic house sample with an admirably gnarly onslaught of gritty electro and relentless drums. This is a peak time bomb that takes no prisoners, sonically landing somewhere between noughties Paris and eighties Chicago. Meanwhile, the disco inflected B side promises breezier styles. The tellingly titled 'Burnin Up' marries an extravagant, vogue indebted intro with a shamelessly crowd pleasing piano jam that's pure peak time energy, bursting at the seams with tension and release. As if delivered from a sweatier disco across town, 'Breaker Breaker' begins in choppy, more idiosyncratic fashion, eventually collapsing into a similarly joyous vocal number, while never losing its offbeat charm.
