“Cheri, Cheri Lady” was Modern Talking’s third single in a row that peaked at #1 on the German singles chart. This is the only single released from Modern Talking’s second album Let’s Talk About Love, released in 1985. Before “Cheri Cheri Lady” reached Gold, it spent four weeks at the top and sold over 250,000 copies in Germany. The single also received a Silver status in France.

Cheri, Cheri Lady is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on translucent pink coloured vinyl.

Cosmic Disco Machine Volume 6 is reconfirmed with a refined selection of electronic “disco” songs from the 70s / 80s, rigorously in original and remastered versions. Fresh from the release of his recent debut album 'Moon in Earthlight', Wolfgang Tillmans drops "Insanely Alive" with remixes by the legendary Pet Shop Boys alongside producer Total Freedom, in a collaboration with Sami Baha. Tillmans, a life-long fan of the Pet Shop Boys, directed the music video for their 2002 single 'Home And Dry', and contributed the cover artwork for the third iteration of their remix series 'Disco 3'. In 2015, Tillmans met Ashland Mines aka Total Freedom for the first time at Mike Q's club night at Escuelita in New York. Earlier that year, Tillmans had researched the DJ and producer's tracks for 'Playback Room', his sound installation focusing on the sounds of American producers. For this remix single, Tillmans invited both the Pet Shop Boys and Total Freedom to put their hands on the catchiest song of his album, resulting in a classic PSB Maxi Mix, an additional radio edit and Total Freedom's pulsating rework of "Insanely Alive".

The A-side sounds like a late-80s industrial EBM cut but with a strictly new future concept inside of each track, while the b-side goes more Electro eighties weird sounds strong with metallic beats perfect for the adventurous working DJ. _Heap (who runs WIENER BRUT): „While working on the release we kept on jokingly referring to the record as the „Austrian Mashisa“ due to the similarity in sounds it provides. I first played the Megamix on last year’s Dekmantel Selectors festival, where it showed its potential for being a Summer hit. In fact, the original 7'' release was the result of a final school project with the goal to substitute the Austrian tradition of compiling a class magazine when graduating from school.“

1998 esce l’atteso secondo album di Alexia dal titolo “The Party”. L'album contiene quattordici brani tra cui i due singoli più gettonati dell’estate 1998 ovvero “Gimme love” e “The music I like”. L’album si aggiudica numerosi dischi d’oro e di platino con le sue oltre cinquecentomila copie vendute. “Gimme love” e “The music I like” sono stati al no. 1 delle classifiche quasi simultaneamente, vendendo un totale di più di centomila copie, un vero record nel mercato italiano. Nell’estate del 1998 Alexia domina la scena musicale in vetta alle classifiche, più di ogni altra artista italiana della dance music. In quel periodo, in Inghilterra, esce il remix di “Uh la la la”. E’ il primo singolo di Alexia ad uscire in quel mercato e diventa subito un successo, top ten in classifica. Questo particolare remix é contenuto

Francesco Varanzano, the composer, told me how “Dimmi Bello” was born. The song had the initial title: “Dimmi bella donna cosa vuoi”. The inspiration for the writing of the text was born from reading an old book. It was an ancient text that spoke of vanity. In this song the narcissism and the domination of the patriarchy is reflected. Between the notes of a plectrum and the ink of a pen, a timeless poem was written by Francesco and sung by the sweet voice of Lucia. “Dimmi Bello” was written in 1986 and is re-printed today after 35 years with the very kind permission of two wonderful people who have dedicated their lives to music and love of neighbor, Francesco and Lucia.

The first drop on the new Disco Mind Records is a top collection of well-designed and perfectly executed re-edits by two Italian disco stallions, Paul Older and Bplan. Each of these men is respected for previous works on the likes of Toy Tonics and Tropical disco and here they delve into their collections and come out with four fiery and authentic new cuts. 'Ma Quale Amore' is a peak time bomb, there is groove and funk to spare on 'Travolgente' and much more to win over all sorts of disco lovers. A great start to what is sure to be a fine label.
