Round two of Rebirth’s bonus EP series that follows on from the massively popular Ciao Italia. Generazioni Underground compilation – digging deep to reissue some of the most treasured Italian dream house tracks out there.

Highly sought after and hard to get your hands on EP Due includes another four tracks that are cemented in many a wantlist including one of the standout cuts from Green Baize’s beloved 1992 LP Game Of Chance, Don Carlos – I Believe In Heaven, the extended mix of Stage 28’s - Feel The Night and a white label gem in the form of Cirillo & Leo Young Pres. Brother’s Brigade - They Couldn’t Resist.

Following on from the standout second Ciao Italia compilation, the mighty Rebirth bring together another collection of tracks that surf between the past, present and future, highlighting the importance and continued influence of the Italo dream house world.

Alternate versions, unheard gems, certified classics and pure class as you’d expect from the likes of Doni & Leo Young, Pastaboys and the coming together of G.P.M., Steve Mantovani, Dan-E-MC and Daniele Mad alongside a double dose of new productions flying the flag for dream house via Hiver and Feel Fly.

Ukranian artist Azotti delivers four tracks from his catalogue on 140g single 12 inch vinyl release courtesy of Blackhole Recordings. These are full length versions.

Due to the current situation in the Ukraine, both The Record Republic and Blackhole Records will be donating their shares of the profits directly to Azotti so he can purchase essential items and directly help those that are in the most need.

Moana Pozzi in the late 1980s, following in the footsteps of her illustrious colleague Ilona Staller/Cicciolina, made her official singing debut by recording several songs arranged and produced by Jayhorus. The music ended up in several of her films as well as being performed in her hot live shows.

Discographically at the time only a few tracks were released on 7″ and 12″ singles that are now cult collector’s items for fetishists and weird DJs.

At last, Cinedelic has gotten their hands on the original masters, unearthing some unreleased ones as well, producing a luxurious gatefold LP.

Thus we find persuasive, nocturnal and mischievous tracks in perfect nightclub style such as “Amore Tossico”, “Autostop”, “Ultima Notte” and “La Gabbia” side by side with more Dance tracks such as his main hit “Supermacho”, the Dance-Rock “Impulsi Di Sesso” and “Gate One (Aeroplano Telecomandato)” and the Funky “Rocky.”

A luscious collection of rare and sought after Italo house gems from the golden era of 90-93 when clubbers from Rimini, Ibiza and beyond couldn’t get enough of those hedonistic summer dancefloor ecstasy vibes.

Including 13 tracks carefully selected by Brescia based, Rebirth label boss Shield, with the Art direction of Stupefacente studio, ranging from the formerly unreleased, rare as F, and very, very expensive records (ranging from £20 to £200 per copy) all beautifully presented in this retro styled 1990 world cup sleeve along with a 20 page booklet with a background story to this influential sound. Tracks featured from DJ Ralf, Alex Neri, Optik, Morenas, Sueño Latino, Leo Anibaldi and many many more.

For their second LP ‘Elios’ on Periodica Records, musical collective “Parbleu” - led by Andres Balbucea and Andrea De Fazio - reach towards realms both astral and ancient to present a solar sonic suite of sky-seeking exotica inspired by the mythological adventures of Helios. Elemental grooves anchor textures of cosmic magic and faraway fantasy, wherein panoramic conga and bongo displays lead to limbo line hysteria and fat-bottomed bass grooves slide through layers of galactic grease. Phaser riffs and flangers arps fly in unison, lyrical runs dart and dash through flourishes of baroque Turkish psychedelia, and as moonbeam lasers fire over thrilling balearic escapes, Iberian reeds dance joyously amidst jangling six-string sunstrokes.

Captured in part at the West Hill Studio, the album is an evocative and polychromatic display of sight and sound, one where Arabian strings riding a desert wind dub skank give way to passages of cinematic folk funk, or elsewhere to sections of pompous progressive rock and angular jazz fusion. And as with Parbleu’s first LP ‘Danse Cette Zik,’ there is an awe-inspiring display of vocal talent across ‘Elios,’ as soft-soul seances, choral pop communions, 60s soundtrack spirituals, Italo diva poetics, and intoxicating call-and-response spells rain down over the mystical melodies and dancefloor dynamite.

Another re-issue from the catalogue of the Italian Disco maestro Constantino Paolini. Taking the iconic voice of Italian movie celebrity Patrizia Pellegrino yet again to vocalize another Roman disco-pop anthem amongst diggers worldwide. Simple yet perfectly put together into an ear catching melody only paralleling Constantino's decades of expertise in music business. Early synth playfulness with Cosmic nuances arpeggiated under a mysterious and dreamy Italian female vocal that reverizes about seeing the world from the perspective of a cloud with a romanticized fondness for its diversity.
Originally released as a 7” and brought back to your record collections at an affordable price in 12” format, remastered and while respectful to the original release this re-issue also branches away from the short radio play format as it features an additional extended edit for the more indulgent dancefloor.

We are thrilled to present “Great Wise Chief. “ A follow-up to the “Fela is Everything” digital single homage to Fela Kuti.
For the encore, we feature Dele Sosimi. The London-based Afro beat Maestro, was at the heart of Fela Kuti’s reign and movement. Dele brings fresh insight to the package. In this direction, Dele Sosimi drops a wicked spoken words vocal salutation to Fela with gorgeous synth to keep the horns and groove going. The production incorporates modern Afro house to reflect the upbeat tone of the spoken phrases. We also invite Trinidadian Deep to contribute a stunning Afro Caribbean remix to this sequel.
A beautiful Afro house vinyl EP package with two titles is the result of this fresh release.
Similar to Fela is Everything, DJ Said, the founder of Fatsouls Records and the legendary Moroccan Cee ElAssaad, collaborate to produce the Great Wise Chief.

Hell Yeah heads to Brazil and the cultured sounds of Pedro Bertho for a hot new 12" that features Mariana Gehring and remixes from Romain FX and My Friend Dario. The digital version includes two bonus cuts while the vinyl is the first to have all-new artwork by FJD.

Now based in France, inclusive party promoter Pedro Bertho’s music is a melting pot of sound that draws on his own personal heritage and a life spent digging for records. That means that afro rhythms, Italo melodies, rolling reggae, deep house, and plenty more all get mixed up into something new.

They have come on the likes of Cracki Records and always search out innovative ways to bring euphoria to the dance floor.

For the first tune, he works with Mariana Gehring, a Sao Paulo-based singer and composer influenced by new MPB and other signature Brazilian sounds like Forro, Maracatu and Samba.

Their excellent 'Tornei' is a mix of full-fat bass and sensuous vocals. Fizzing synths, percussion and FX bring the energy while Gehring arrives in the breakdowns to bring the spine-tingling soul. Romain FX is a scene mainstay, label head at fauve, boiler room veteran and has released on the likes of Kalahari oyster cult and many more.

His version is a retro workout with lush cosmic melodies and slinky grown-up grooves sure to get the floor full.

Next is 'Elephants au 5eme', a busy mix of analogue drums and hits, wild elephant trumpets and fleshy synths that bring unusual tropical heat to any party. The same track is remixed by label regular and new school Balearic boss my Friend Dario.

He plays with the vocals, layers in shimmering chords, and keeps things dubby to make for another of his signature grooves.

The Italian Stallion finds from the drawer of memories two unreleased tracks of the "Pelati Riviera" project, together with Franco B and Rame of the Pastaboys.

Basses, organs, strings, pads, piano and vocals, all the right ingredients for a pure house music of the best old school that thanks to projects like these will never die.

Plastik People Recordings label keeps up its good momentum with another feel-good EP of classically inclined house music for cosy floors and emotional crowds. 'Keep Me Satisfied' is a superb opener with effortlessly cool and deep house grooves and sweet vocals from Reda. 'The Way I Live' gets even more steamy and deep with jazzy chords and another lung-busting vocal to really make sure the party kicks off. 'Passion Rhythms' features Janelle on the vocals and builds another sweaty but sensuous vibe and 'Can You Understand My Groove' is a clean, effective weapon to close.

WLDV introduces four tracks on this new 12″ release in tribute to Valencia’s ‘La Ruta del Bacalao’ (or Ruta Destroy), with a kind of Proto-Techno that reminds us the late eighties and early nineties movement sound, also mixed with his personal Horror Disco.

Originally released via the legendary Factory Records, Substance compiled all of the band's singles to that point in their 12” versions, and specially new recorded versions of ‘Temptation’ and ‘Confusion’. The album also included the biggest selling 12” single of all time, Blue Monday, alongside other classic singles The Perfect Kiss, Bizarre Love Triangle and the band’s debut single release Ceremony.
