Vault Series is a cheeky little series where Rush Hour drops never before released tracks and mixes from its vaults as well as tracks which are in dire need of a re-release.
The series kicks off with an unreleased track by the mysterious Duster Valentine. An anthemic disco track that, with its catchy piano loop, pays homage to the golden days of New York house music. Music that will make you sweat!

''Shake It Baby'' has a throbbing wobbly disco bass with a memorable chorus.
A2. Low Slung Disco does exactly what it says on the tin.....Gently easing in with some slap bass boogie before those glorious Vince Montana-esque strings drama kick in to hipnotic effect. On to the flip we head to the Carribean Islands for some reggaefied feel good sun kissed tropical disco with some obligitory steel drums for a dramatic finish.The 12 ends with a holy grail Nigerian afro boogie obscurity which an original copy sold for an unbelievable $2,000 in 2006 !! GUYNAMUKAT make one single track from the two different versions on the album tightening up the groove accordingly and making good use of those synths and the funkier elements of the track. Black belt disco choppers Marvin & Guy board the runaway Let's Get Lost train with two housed up disco edits under their hats. Two very well known tracks get a very unexpected dose of medicine and the prognosis is very good indeed.

Reissue of the original Samba records 12 ' release of two superb and hugely in-demand funky Afro disco monsters 'Sexy Dancer' and 'Step On' by Nigerian funkster Harry Mosco. Originally released in very limited numbers back in 1980 on the tiny Samba record label, both tracks are amazing with super funky B-lines creating a wicked afro party vibe. The original changes hands for big bucks and has become even more in-demand recently after both tracks stood out on the much heralded Kon & Amir compilation. Top quality disco!

Third album from Germany's Marbert Rocel, a three-piece combining deep electronica, minimal house textures and jazz with classy pop music.

Marbert Rocel spend most of their time looking out of the window and smoking. Then they make music, someone draws for a while, and they soon go back to looking out of the window and making music. Marbert Rocel are twinkle-toed, and yet hardly tangible when you try to grasp them. They combine dance music with songs, songs with cookies and, in turn, cookies with dance music. Therefore, Marbert Rocel spent a lot of time touring - playing gigs in Germany, Holland, Italy, Poland, indoors, outdoors, on the roof, in the cellar, in small groups, in front of many people, and in front of very many people. »It greatly influenced our music. This is the reason as to why we now make ballads at 130 bpm.« At a concert on Enceladus in 2010, Marbert Rocel met Martin Kohlstedt. He seemed to fit perfectly to the band and behind the Rhodes, thanks to his constant eight-armness and his tiger stripes.

every turn on this 5 track 12" shows something different from the band. album track 'how small we are' shows their signature atmospheric sound, pushed further with african percussion, multiple choirs and heavier synths. then there's 'mysterons' - their take on the opening track from portishead's 'dummy' album. it's almost unrecognizable, reconstructing it into a synth-ed out new wave party jam. there's two heavyweight mixes as well from shangaan electro and the mighty Moodymann.

Nozinja and nurse Matlala of South Africa's shangann electro scene took pollyn's catchy, all-about-the-bassline track 'how small we are' and made it even more thrilling by adding new vocals and doubling its length.
