From "Tomorrow" and back to plus thirty years, more precisely in 1987, a teenager named Thomas, Thomas Barnett the full name, released the track "I Can Feel It" mixed by Juan Atkins, one of the first mix by who became the main DJ and producer from Thomas's hometown, Detroit.

Today "I Can Feel It" is a very hard to find record that finally will be available for an official reissue via Omaggio, after a skillful re-master from the original source by Andy Toth former member of Detroit Grand Pubahs.

History says that the '87 was a lucky year for Thomas Barnett, who also written "Nude Photo" the second ever release out on Transmat, credited to Rhythim Is Rhythim, definitely one of the moment to define the genre. Well, we all agree to consider Mr. Barnett an originator of Detroit Techno. From there Thomas travels across the world as DJ and live performer and when at home he is a busy managing multiple labels and still an illuminated recording artist.

The Latest Rhythm Section International release comes all the way from down under and rest assured it is another BEAUTY! The record oozes jazz, lush orchestral experiments and downbeat, Detroit flavour house spread across 4 tracks of sun soaked productions from Melbourne Newcomer Prequel, who makes his debut on this hotly tipped Peckham Label.

U2XProductions presents, "I'm Yours" - written by Niko Marks and featured artist, Sadiqua. Niko expresses true Detroit deepness while allowing room for a sultry female vocal to carry a bit of melody throughout each mix. A1 starts off low tempo and very dance friendly while B1 delivers a very funky baseline and leans to a more aggressive beat. B2 gets really deep and plays down to a minimal pulse. B2: My People - Disco Nights Mix: Finishing the EP off with a bang, we are over-the-moon to be re-releasing the all-time classic, 'My People'. Originally released five years ago on a 12" compilation album, which only ever
made a small run, it's high time this track was given a full release. Fun, infectious and uplifting, if this isn't the track to get a party started, I don't know what is.
This solid EP mixes a delicious slice of past and present, and is a rare record not to be missed. Play it loud!

Analogue machine loving Sierra Sam is probably best know as a techno specialist but this EP - made up of original tracks that were first produced 15 years ago - showcases his house music

Such is the genius of Herbert, always managing to be one step ahead of most other producers, whether it's producing slamming house like 'You got to be moving', rolling emotive electronics like 'Fat king fire' or subtle, shifting percussion confusing jams like 'Housewife' all of his tracks retain this fresh energy that can't be pigeon holed. 'Classic Herbert' is exactly that, a 3 tracker that defies genre, celebrates the eclecticism of it's producer and still manages to be slamming (& classic) in the process! Essential stuff! This EP has always been tough to track down, proving to be a very sought after gem in the vinyl digging world. A repress was definitely needed!

Every home should have this record from the 2 of the originators of deep House! Virgo 4 were kicking out the most melodic, fathoms deep, complex emotional machine music before anyone else (them & Larry obviously!) had caught up with them & the "Do You Know Who Are?" EP from 1989 is as flawless as it gets, often imitated over the years but never, ever bettered!

Every single track on this slab of wax is a classic! Virgo manage to reach right inside & take us somewhere on every cut while maintaining an otherworldly sense of melody & rhythm, some of the playing on this record is incredible & so accomplished, "In A Vision" for example still sounds like it's beaming right at us from the future while "Take Me Higher" carries it's stately, Reggae-like vibe along smoothly while retaining enough bounce to keep the floor locked in.

Basically, "Do You Know Who Are?" is an almost perfect record. You need it. It's the truth.

After over 10 years out of press, very limited Vinyl re-pressing of the he extremely sort after DJ Assassin 'A Face in The Crowd' 12' on Cross Section Records. A total classic House track from 1998, that sounds even fresher today. The vocal is minimal, yet haunting and the bassline just rev's like a an engine, proper House music at it's finest. Frits Wentink launches his new label Bobby Donny with 'Live Fast, Dwayne Young'. Bobby Donny has been set up to primarily feature Frits Wentink's own tracks, but focusing on the wonkier, more lo-fi house edge of his sound. The emphasis will be on tracks that are hardware jams on Rhodes, Juno 60 or mpc, then structured later.

Frits Wentink has already garnered a huge fanbase for his quirky, innovative and characterful house music on a number of forward thinking labels like Wolfskuil, 2020Vision, Heist and Wolf with his recent debut album, 'Rarely Pure, Never Simple' on the latter, gaining much critical acclaim.

His first EP on Bobby Donny opens with 'Dwayne Young', which puts the fun into funky with its deep vibe, filtered vocals and creative samplings. Slowing it down, 'Rio' is next, like a short but sweet interlude of off-kilter slow-mo experimentation. Then it's back to the grooving house beats of 'Guacamole' with its jazzy backbone, before the melodious 'Q&A' kicks in, featuring a gorgeously wobbly overtone. 'Aquarelle' is a perfect ending, with distorted elements gradually coming together to find their harmonious compromise.

With 'Live Fast, Dwayne Young' Frits Wentink once again displays the hugely creative talents of this much sought after producer.

Rotterdam based 25 Places are back on Dirt Crew with a bang! since their "Love More" release in 2015 the boys have been hard at work and have just released an EP for Chez Damier on his "Prescription Records" sub label "Balance". The bounce begins with "Party In The Hills" hosting a huge kick, loopy Rhodes, squelching bass, Ragga flavoured vocal and squeaky lead, it's straight up good times right from the get go. An infectious groove on this one! "Closing Title Song" heads into deep soaring territory, it's forward house beat and pulsing synth lead intertwine with loose tropical percussion and a rhapsodic horn hook. On the flip we have Laurence Guy who does not really need an introduction anymore, the man has been all over the place since this years releases on "Cin Cin", "Outplay" and the imminent "Church" where he dropped two big EP's "Bamboo" and "Kojak". Here he takes on the soulful deep Chicago House of 25 Places and turns it into a 90's breakbeat acid galore of ecstasy tingled UK House. 25 Places wrap up the rave session with "Backyard Stories", a raw and bouncing, bass face inducing jam. Uplifting and dirty in one stroke, its thumping kick and feverous melodies make it impossible not to move.

NBAST continues to pile on the pressure with a stellar 10th release ready to drop in June 2020. After his smashing Whiplash EP earlier this year HDSN returns with a super heavy weight record inspired by the raw energy of the house sound which spanned the Eighties and early Nineties. “Soulside Rollers” takes a handful carefully chosen samples and gives them a futuristic flair courtesy of the iconic Roland 909 and other machine wizardry; an EP that bridges the sensibilities of House, Disco and strains of Soul. The hard-driving “Detroit" is the graceful and uplifting opener on the remarkable four-tracker. It´s a near-mythic homage to the city that shaped HDSN´s music over the years and seems to perfectly encapsulate the feeling of being lost in music with no way out. “Happiness Machine” is party music to play as the sun comes up. The ebullient hook and the silky vocals that join in the driving beat guarantee instant joy and give the song it´s name that reflects the spirit of our soul brother which is jaunty but never corny. “Tear It Up" sounds effortlessly cool, the stripped-down track, devoid of extraneous flourishes, still sounds like an absolute belter, it hits an almost church-like, surging, religious ecstasy and it's a concentrated laser beam of energy that seems powerful enough to melt dancefloors. “Late Bloomers” is more lush, more conventionally tuneful it´s deeply moving and quietly haunting, melancholy strings swelling over a minimalistic guitar line and the barest of beats. It may be a bit more soulful than the other tracks as it's born out of a desire to spread faith through tunes helping listeners find another plane - but it's simply hard not to be swept up in the sheer sense of conviction and it completes another certified record by HDSN.
