Waran Dub is a stellar piece of Dub-Techno catching the relaxed atmosphere of the island with it´s lush synthworks and a bass-heavy rhythm-track. Teahouse Jam on the other side is a percussive jam with jazzy counterparts and moist field recordings. 'Thanks for purchasing a real copy!'

On the A side is the vocal version of YWFLA. Breach wanted this track on vinyl so thought he would release this exclusive version in a very limited fashion.On the flip is a tasty remix from up and coming Citizen who delivers perfectly with this dancefloor ready re shape of the original.

Ashley Beedle is one of the pioneers of Global dance music. A man with so many different musical hats it's dizzying. Taking its name from the opening track of Hot Chip's current album In Our Heads, Motion Sickness brings together some of the most respected names in dance music with the key players in the Domino roster.
From disc one's swell of deep, sumptuous re-workings of Domino classics including the Grammy Award-nominated Carl Craig remix of Junior Boys' "Like a Child" right through to the more esoteric, obscure and contemporary rebirths like Mike Simonetti's hard-to-find "Champagne Coast" remix on the second, it's a compilation that will work throughout the night and into the morning.
Now with the release of Motion Sickness, these definitive remixes have been brought together for the first time.
Also featuring suitably kinetic artwork from Liquid Liquid's Dennis Young, Motion Sickness puts the spotlight on Domino's previously obscured night-time alter ego.

Hailing originally from Cape Town and now settled in Manchester, Alex Blaxx is a 21 year-old house producer on the rise. A resident at the respected Drop The Mustard night in Manchester, his Soundcloud page popped onto the radar of Buzzin' Fly's Ben Watt earlier this summer.

The unstoppable force that is Maceo Plex is back on board his own Ellum Audio imprint after his huge collaboration with Jon Da Silva took the world by storm and proved to be one of the biggest tracks of the year. Never failing to deliver, the 'Space Junk EP' is another slice of dance floor magic, Maceo Plex style.
First up 'Filthy Mama' demonstrates Maceo's undeniable talent and signature sound with seductive grooves and deep, grumbling undertones. This solid house hit is tinted with disco flare yet embodies that funky, modern and hypnotic house the producer is so well known for with on point vocals that make it stand apart. There's no question that the producer has studio masterstrokes to spare, acutely aware of what works the floor.
Over on the B-side 'Stimulation' takes a deeper and harder turn for the late night ravers. Still noticeably a Maceo track, it adopts a big room driving sound with a thumping bass followed with intricate pacey percussions. Siren haunts fall into the vortex of sonic sounds, echoing and all encompassing for that dance floor effect, with warm synths flowing through the beautiful yet eerie layers.
Not many artists have the ability to envision a fresh sound and make such a signature stamp on modern dance music. Eric Estonel aka Maceo Plex has done just that, not only under his Maceo Plex moniker but also as Maetrik so it's no surprise he's been dominating the global scene. Now settled in Barcelona, Maceo balances a hectic touring schedule with plenty of studio time, prolific output released via heavyweight labels such as Leftroom, Crosstown Rebels, No.19, Watergate and Defected.Naturally, Ellum Audio is also becoming home to some classic Maceo Plex and the 'Space Junk EP' is no exception.

Tomorrow Is Now, Kid! or TINK! Records as it was originally called in 1989, was one of the first House labels in The Netherlands. Certainly the first to release Soulful House and Garage tracks onto the dance floors. TINK! Records became a household name with releases by artists such as Black Tulip, Eddy de Clercq (EDC), MTC, MDA. feat. Lilian Vieira, R.J.'s Rule, Formosa and Thyone Girls.
We relaunched the company 3 years ago with the intention of re-releasing all the great music that was made 20 years ago and now we finally realized that dream.

Back once again on Crosstown's wayward younger brother Rebellion, Aidan Lavelle delivers another three superb cuts of timeless dance music featuring his own haunting live vocals and epic tribal grooves - a hybrid of techno styles with deep and moody undertones.
Title track 'Get Yourself' builds with solid claps and humming bass tones leading upcto a break where Aidan's pitched down vocal winds its dark path into the mix along with the murky bassline and off-key echoing bleeps and chimes. A master of sonic layers, Aidan sets the tone of the EP here with striking lyrics, chugging groove and sharp shooting synths.
'Abyss' is a more urgent floor burner with plenty of tension and mood, swirling, spooky overlapping melodies and the effect of spiraling into darkness. Hidden away as B2 you have another worthy lead track, 'Unreal'. Major rave appeal exudes from the main riff of off-kilter chimes punching through the solid groove and building up throughout weaved into epic synths. Aidan's gothic voice remains a beguiling force.
Prolific composer and producer, Aidan Lavelle (brother to James) has worked with a number of world-class artists including U.N.K.K.L.E Gorillaz, Ian Brown, Queens Of The Stone Age and Massive Attack. Having since built up an illustrious body of work in television and film music, debut solo release on Rebellion 'Tinnitus EP' back in May firmly marked Aidan's return to underground dance music. The 'Get Yourself EP' is further evidence of the solo producer's magnanimous style.

Making all the right moves with previous form on Aus, Needwant and Tusk Wax, Ejeca is well tapped into the revivalist house zeitgeist with these hale and hearty jams for Waze & Odyssey. Solid Inner City chords and crisp, bright drums abound on side A, with "Night Rays" sure to inflict some damage with its fulsome square wave bassline. On the flipside, "Never Forget" ups the tempo for a cut that dresses like tech house but moves like 2-step. Waze & Odyssey themselves bring a smoother, deeper vibe to bear on their remix of "Riddim", pulling the melodic content right back to subtle flecks for a greater dramatic impact.

The debut release from up-and-coming artist 'Kommune1' on Lone's Magic Wire label welcomes the merger of Warehouse-Techno vibes with the accessibility of House. These compositions take shape in both the tracks 'MOTUS' and 'Shadowkick', each displaying the loyalist replications of everything that makes a head-nodding, foot-stomping, wall-shaking track.

The A-side track 'MOTUS' displays the ethics of both Berghain thumping4/4 rhythms, complete with big builds, subtle dynamic changes and a drop that would never cease to throw any listener into a frenzy of inexplicable groove and motion. A nod to the early days of Detroit Techno and Chicago House is also remnant in the track, with its heavy bass-loops, and restrained vocal phrases. After receiving support from Blawan, Ben UFO, NT89, Pariah, Dauwd, Happa et al, the track has been intensifying the dancefloor spaces of the last few months, receiving praise both in internet circles and DJ's top 10 lists. An assured must have in any DJ's vinyl bag for the remainder of 2012 and the coming year.

B-side 'Shadowkick' follows in a similar stylistic notion as the previous track. With the main aim being the destruction of the dancefloor still, 'Shadowkick' is another big Techno-House track, emphasising on the power of the bassline and a hard rhythm. Subtle dub-like-chords, crisp percussion, and dynamic alterations all combine to act as a perfect DJ tool. The breakdown section of the track is enough to see a floor of 'Hands in the air' before all hell seemingly breaks loose when the rhythms punches back into the main emphasis of the track.

UK release on export ban but we can get the French release! - no doubt it will be limited

Perlon founder Zip, real name Thomas Franzmann, has compiled the latest edition of Fabric's illustrious, long-running mix series, featuring material from Vakula, Terrence Dixon and Kenny Larkin.
With all the verve and blissful energy of his DJ sets Franzmann builds his own musical universe across the mix, unmasking his mysticism at first with the revealing reverbed chants and analogue stabs of Vedomir's 'Dreams' before veering off into the awkwardly sinewy melodic structure of San Proper and Steven De Peven's collaboration, 'Pam Pam'. The poise of the way Vedomir's ethereal opener runs into the clipped drums of 'Pam Pam' sets Zip up for further of these intelligent arrangements. Using these kinds of morphing vocals as a key tool, Zip draws for them on more than one occasion on the first half of fabric 67, using them to slice through the mix, creating these weirdly beautiful moments that serve to mesmerize the listener.He's not shy of using proven dancefloor wrecking tools either, using Nail's 'Till The Feelings Gone' very early on and unapologetically hinging the mix on the 'Moodyfied Mix' of Jovonn's rare 1995 groove, 'Satisfied'. But as much as he's able to let these little moments of release fly out there wantonly, he shows that rare ability of being able to dovetail his more stomping moments with the sparse, disjointed technicality of DJ QU's 'Everybody Dark', the irk of the distorted lead line on The Sun of God remix of Armando & Steve Poindexter's 'Blackholes' or the direct drive

Elbee Bad is another great underground house pioneer from the formative days of NYC house in the late eighties. The True Story Of House Music finally gets told...
Like the Burrell Brothers, Elbee Bad aka Lamont Booker, is an early house producer from New York
City. And the comparison doesn't stop there; Elbee Bad has also recorded under different aliases and has also remained largely unknown to a wider audience. He has also recorded for Nu Groove Records, for which he has recorded his most famous material, but like the Burrell's he wasn't a Nu Groove fixture. Bad recorded for a slew of other independent New York house labels like Bassment,
City Limits, Easy Street, Red Heat, United States Of America and then there was his own LaRhon
Records. Almost 25 years have past since his first release 'Just Don't Stop', yet 'The True Story Of House
Music' is the first time Bad's catalog gets compiled for re-release. Although the best and most prolific
part of his catalog is his late 80's and early 90's output, Booker never stopped producing (and dj'ing).
The Nuyorican came up on the live circuit as a teenager, featuring as a drummer in his school band. When the group disbanded he decided to move forward solo. This was as at a time when hip hop and dj culture came up. He started dj'ing and experimenting with beat looping rock, disco and electronic records. He formed a dj crew and they started rocking PA's. Not long after that his first record came
out on an independent house label Bassment, which features 'Just Don't Stop'. Many singled followed on different label, including his most well-known EP entitled 'The True Story Of House Music' on Nu Groove Records. Not only does this feature various versions of the title track,
which caused a storm with djs around the globe, it also features the ambient song 'New Age Of Faith'.
The theme got used by Sabres Of Paradise who made it their own on 'Smokebelch II' which became a
landmark house and balearic record in the early 90's. Unfortunately for Elbee, the Sabres left him out
of the equation. It left a bad taste, but he kept on producing music, purely on emotion and never with a marketing mind. This is probably the main reason why he has stayed out of the limelight, yet has produced so many
timeless tracks, of which most can be found on this compilation. Elbee Bad aka LB Bad aka The Prince Of Dance Music aka Lamont Booker aka The Voodoo Man, aka
Lord KCB aka BAD currently lives and works in Berlin where he continues to work on music as well as
producing and running his Bad's Label.

In 2010 Tevo Howard, who dusted of the mirror balls in Chi-Town like no other in recent times, brought us the definition of "What Is Noise ". Today he asks "What Is Sound" and delivers the answer straight away: more essential, stripped down and hypnotic Chicago house business, that shows Tevo's full spectrum from party starters and almost technoid bangers to late night pearls . Pump and bounce!

Northern England based Outcross Records bring you 'The Break Out' EP this November by Inland Knights backed with a remix from label heads MAM (Miguel Campbell & Matt Hughes).
Inland Knights have been heavily involved with electronic music since the early 90's, building an enviable reputation through their 'Smokescreen' free parties in that era and later starting the reputable Drop Music imprint which over the years has seen support from the likes of Luke Solomon, Phil Weeks, Laura Jones and Lee Foss, evidently showing the diverse appeal embodied in their music.
'Bounce' opens the release here and in true Inland Knights fashion storms in with a raw shuffling rhythm. A gritty, penetrating saw wave bass hook is thrown into the mix and the duo's signature hip-house vocal chops create their own melody on top of the track's sturdy foundations. The latter stages introduce hypnotizing filtered arp lines and sweeping house synths to the hub of the track, adding further melodic movement and rounding the piece off as classy, retro inspired house music with a forward thinking appeal.
Next is 'Broken Up', taking on a more stripped-back form with heavily swung drums and an acidic bass-line driving the track. The cut steadily evolves with subtle modulation creating an ever-evolving movement, before breaking things down and introducing organic bass licks, hi-pitched vocal chops and warm brass tones into the consequent stages.
Closing the release is 'Broken Up (MAM Remix), the duo drop the tempo and infuse the cut with their signature slo-mo disco drums, staccato hooky bass and tasteful filter work. MAM tracks have become instantly recognizable for their 'French House' feel and understated, less-is-more approach and here they deliver that once more dissecting the key elements of the original and remolding them elegantly.

We're super excited for the release of Casino Times - 'I Wanna Know', that features three flawless original tracks alongside the help of German heavyweight Dave DK on the remix.
Nick Church & Joe Spencer aka Casino Times are quickly gaining a reputation as talented producers and DJs amongst the electronic music faithful. Last year saw their catchy Chaka Khan sampling 'Thats The Truth' pop up on everyone's radars and was labeled by many as the 'tune of the summer'. Sccucci Manucci got round to releasing it where it instantly sold out thanks to support from the likes of Jamie XX, Wolf & Lamb, Bicep. The boys went on to produce another successful release on French label 'Anchor French' as well as a variety of well received remixes for the likes of Wolf Music, Jozif and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The London duo now ply their trade with a residency at Corsica Studios' flagship night 'Tief' where they have played along side the likes of Morgan Geist, Todd Terje, Hunee and Omar S which you can tell has aided in the development of their forward thinking sounds.
Needwant are now proud to unveil the long sought after new and original sounds of Casino Times. On the A side we start with the title track full of rich anthemic soaring synths and beautiful piano keys that build a layered and epic track. 'Trust' is a stripped skippy beat fused with subtle percussion that keeps building and building towards yet more feel good vibes. On the flip side, 'Back To The Night' is a deep and melodic track with old school soulful elements in all the right places. Dave DK heads for the depths in his remix of 'I Wanna Know' with driving and hypnotic bass under those epic piano keys. As a producer / DJ famed for his sets at Berlin's infamous Panorama Bar this 5am type remix rounds off another superb and on point release from Needwant.

Bring U Up originally appeared on Roman's Blackmale label in 1995 as a rumbling slice of New Jersey garage complete with gospel samples and Romanthony collaborator The Trojan Horse. It was a bit of a cult favourite with underground heads like DJ Deep. It wasn't until Roman completely re-produced and re-sang the song in 2000 that it fully took on anthem status. Out went the heavy kicks and hypnotic moods and in came James Brown horn stabs and a live beat that sounded like Bernard Purdie had joined him for the session (the drums were actually provided by Roman himself). The result was an instant club hit with everyone from Pete Tong to Francois Kevorkian that reached (a very respectable 74) in the UK national charts.
On this 12' Deetron's takes the funk vibe of Roman's 2000 version and toughens it up for todays dancefloors, Lee Webster adds a monster baseline and some serious beats. On the flip-side the original Blackmale version is re-issued on vinyl for the first time as is an unreleased DJ friendly edit of the 2000 version done by Kevin McKay.

The latest emission from the 2020 Midnight Visions camp comes from Bristol's Behling & Simpson.
Producers, label owners and general men about town, Behling & Simpson are familiar faces on Bristol's bass music scene with 6 years of experience touring the globe as DJs and over 100 previous releases between them (under various guises). Having honed their production skills and in need of a new challenge, Behling & Simpson are now in the business of crafting fresh and original house cuts, dropping the tempo to allow space for highly swung drums, RnB-esque vocals and deep 808-bass.
They are part of the new wave of house music coming out of Bristol that has brought us Julio Bashmore and the fusion sounds of Applepips and Futureboogie, which are the two labels they have previously released on.
Their 2020 Midnight Visions EP showcases their love of a shuffley house groove, classic boogie influences and shows how to work the dancefloor without working the bpm. 'Closer' features the sexy vocals of Shanti Celeste, she may not say a great deal, but she definitely gets her point across over the bumpin New Jersey house grooves that recall classic MAW or Todd Terry on -8.
'Fuse Strategy' feat James Foxx fires up some deep bass with the slick house beats, which fits in perfectly with the Bristol sound, and 'Fuse Strategy' rounds off the EP in style with a deeper take on their sound.

After the success of Little Creatures 1st release, Luke continues his vinyl only journey with another self produced single.
This time he teams up with Roual Galloway from the legendary Faith magazine. Instigated by Roual, a rather unexpected studio visit from the enigma that is Cassio Ware.
You may know Cassio Ware from records such as Blaze's "Funky People" "Gettin'Hot on Movin' records, and Loose Booty on Easy St Records. This time backed by his touring backing singer Vangella Crowe.
The impromptu gathering was co-ordinated by Luke rustling up a Prince like backing track and then a few hours of jamming until they all struck upon something.
Luke then nurtured the record for a good 12 months and ended up with 2 versions. The original demo that the song came from, and the "wild mix" that has been causing a stir amongst the only four people that have had the record....Luke, Chris Duckenfield, Matthew Krysko and Jonny Rock.
An out and out party record that may just turn the heads and raise a shuffle from the cool kids.

Little to nothing is known about the mysterious producer and their track titles are just as vague, consisting merely of numbers.
The hype first began when an anonymous email was sent to several blogs stating, 'This is my new project, I want to remain anonymous and let the music speak for itself'.
Since that first track, there have been nine more originals and two remixes - all of which have been featured heavily online via the artist's Youtube channel (the only place his work can be previewed)
In a world where everything can be found in seconds, Unknown puts the mystery back into music - enabling some people to be in the know just by recognising great talent.
Unknown #008 (on the second 12" coming soon) was featured by Dummy mag, with Ellie Goulding picking up on it and posting it on her Facebook page. 17,000 hits on the track later the speculation grew, with the tracks being attributed to Skrillex, Four Tet & even Burial.
Unknown still remains unknown, a person with a hotmail account and a youtube channel.
With props from Dummy Mag, Fact, Boiler Room, Bicep and more, there is another EP soon and an album in the pipeline ...
