After his 'All Gone Pete Tong Ibiza 2014' compilation with Tensnake, Pete Tong releases his first EP on Suara with UK Producer John Monkman titled "The Bumps". John Monkman, who also goes under the aliases PinkNoize and Flip Flop, uses progressive elements coupled with 80's like synths, which gives his productions quite the unique flair. His work also takes into account the technical side of production and he carefully constructs each element using the science behind sound design and production. He's already been touted as a producer to watch out for with releases on labels such as Warung and Get Physical Music, so it was only fitting for him to collaborate with Pete Tong to give you this tasty track.

The original, with a well-constructed bassline incorporates a warm up melody that begins to set the tone for the night ahead. Each layer is distinct as the track begins to build itself right to its crescendo when each of those individual layers collectively come together. You can distinctly hear the 80's like synths that are cleverly inserted into the track which are highlighted by the female vocal samples. The grittier elements add a touch of darkness and instantly transport you to a warehouse club with an intimate atmosphere.

The remix, done by the widely loved tech-house duo Pleasurekraft jack up the tempo a notch, and add a bouncy groove to the track. Where the original brought out a darker side, the remix is more upbeat and settles in well for a peak hour set. Bringing that crisp bassline to the fore, and tuning out the melodies to make them a tad subtler it showcases a more tech-house version of the original. There's an added element a slightly more haunted vibe which is coupled together with those gritty and harder elements. All I can conclude is what a tech-house bomb this is from the highly talented Pleasurekraft. They always manage to bring something new and unique to every single track they've ever remixed which truly shows their remarkability as consistently good producers.

Well, we know absolutely nothing about this brand new edits label, nor the artist behind it, so in wonderfully cliched fashion, the music is left to do the talking. What we do know is that Harri Pierson must have a penchant for classic house because that's the vibe of the A-side 'Bananas'. It has retro-future vibes, a pitched-up rave vocal, and lively piano chords over shiny metallic drums. It's a real bouncer with hints of Italo madness, then 'Funk Rail' is a more worldly affair with Indian-sounding melodies, rich layers of instrumental funk and jostling, loose-limbed drums. What a scorcher.

Firing up the next heat on the prolific Partisan imprint is rising Outcast Torino affiliate, Emanuele Montalto. The “Soundboy” EP sees the innovative Italian showcase a series of animated and spaced out productions containing a certain direct energy the label associates itself with. This club room approved outing from Montalto sits comfortably on the staple outfit that Partisan has become in recent years, with Anthea continuing to build her go to label for stellar underground sounds.

For installment #6 of their series, BinarySound returns to the wax game with a Various featuring newcomers, old friends, close friends and old timers. The Deadline EP invites you to an energy infused night lost somewhere between an 80’s disco roller rink, oldschool Prog’ House and a sunrise over the Adriatic sea.

OPIA sister label Euphoric State steps up this autumn with more unearthed gems from the 90s, this time at the controls is Skat aka Andy Panayi & Alec Stone, Skat being their name before they took on what became their acclaimed A2 moniker in 94. The “Skat Mode” EP spans across innovative strains of house and electro, packed with energy and charming emotions.

On the A side you can find two slabs of reissued heat from the versatile duo, packing more of a punch than ever. Cruising on an irresistible house groove is “Is Dis Love”, tight drum work and elastic bass lines teased by the nostalgic vocal. “Dinowarp” is a pure example of a hazy deep house chugger for the early hours of the morning, taking you on a trip of blissful synths and melt in your mind textures.

Taking up the B side are two unreleased diamonds from the vast archives of the UK duo, “Jamaica” and “Jump Around”. The first being a playful and animated outing, classy house dynamics driving the dance floor up a notch. “Jump Around” maintains the depth and emotion but at the heart lays a pulsating sub heavy bass to keep you on the move, conversing with the pacey and crisp drum patterns within.

Sector is back! After his contribution as memeber of Clock DVA in the 80’s, Dean Dennis decided that it was time to move on and start something new.He wanted Sector to be more experimental and abstract,fusing a range of musical styles: Industrial techno,hip-hop-drum and bass,jazz fusion and detroit house. Resurrection part 1 is the first gem of the trilogy tapes that includes unreleased tracks taken from an old archive.

Hiatus has finished, new wax is molded and Vakum spits out their celebratory tenth release. Warped Reality EP revisites galactic and spacious backbone sounds from not so long ago infused with fresh production spices. In this case, Cosmic G & Laars, the duo which grows from the new Serbian batch. Take a listen to this five-tracker riddled with space blasters and hypnotic segments.

A1. Flowing through interstellar space, B Star revisites some well known and loved sounds from early hypnotic era of electronic music. Upon arriving to the quazzar crossroads it also dives into breakbeat moments just to be reformed into acid sphere once again. A touch of trance goes a long way.

A2. Sometimes you hear a track that resmebles multiple tracks combined. This is just the case in Terestrial Dreams. Filled with dreamy and galactic delays it pushes itself into endless progressive spiral of heavy bassline, smooth perc shots and otherworldly segments.

B1. All about the cosmic ride in a night train between two planets. Along the way it pasess through multiple sound stations and realms inviting even more passengers for this sparkling night out. Pure delicacy!

B2. Broken beats, scrapping vocals and intermitting bassline. Babble is inhaling acid hits from

the sorroundings and projects them onto punchy snares and raw rhytmics to be carried further into old school babble beats. Perfect B side.

B3. The outcast. The villan. The bad guy. Slow and ominous pace bundled with serious bassline sequence that goes into offence during the vocal break. This burner really stomps heavy hits onto you and smashes every sonic valve while pouring acid. "Oh, well, allow me to retort."

The first in series of self-released Liquid Earth Physical releases, “The Electronic Brain” is a nose dive into Junkyard Synthesis.

From EP Title opener and the three tracks to follow, you’ll find part '80s sleaze, part '90s deepness and part '00s wiggle wrapped into one package.

A2 track "Vector Boy and The Horse With Three Legs” is as cooked as the title given. A twisted ride on a budget carnival right, steered forward by driving percussion and a mid-break bubbly synth line.

“Bubble Pop,” an ode to the 1986 arcade game, is a straight shooter. An early morning tune that pirouettes nicely through a sunrise set. Record closer, “Stingray Shuffle,” ties the release together with its juggled arpeggios and organically grown drum work.

The Electronic Brain makes dance music cocktails that pop like a twist of lime hitting seltzer. Melodic, crisp, and refreshing.

"Sztossingery EP" (which means BANGERSSS in english) is the fruit of a creative agreement between BELMONDAWG (one of the most brilliant polish hip hop artist of the young generation) and The Very Polish Cut Outs.

The result are 6 remixes from Belmondawg's highly acclaimed "Hustle As Usual" mini LP that came out in 2020, created by some of the best Polish producers that are often associated with the label.
The EP starts with a massive remix from Schmoltz of 'Pappardelle Al'arrabbiata' - the Belarusian producer transforms the original into a 90's house anthem...
Next is the slo-mo heavy hitting remix for the cult track 'Te Tereny'. The side A closes with Speek's hypnotic and deep take on 'Wte i Wewte'.

On the flip we get another house stomper from Polotronic (1/2 of the duo Holiday80), a crazy re-interpretation by Tamten who transforms one of the skits on the album 'Agnihotra' into crazy and psychedelic 135 bpm dance floor affair and last but not least the record ends with the mighty Pejzaz transforming 'Te Tereny' into a breezy jungle like its the 90's again.

Sztosssingery is another surprising and well crafted addition to the TVPCO catalogue.

Vertere Berlin is a contemporary fashion brand and party collective founded by a group of local DJs and designers. It was founded in 2017 and since then rose to international attention for their club-ready streetwear and their fashion collabos with DJs and labels like Jennifer Cardini, Disco Halal, DUAT Records to name a few. Vertere Berlin also made a name for themselve for their hyped party series “Strictly Dancefloor Business” - hosting artists like Roza Terenzi, Narciss, DJ Fuckoff, Boris, Heap as well as their resident DJs.

As a logical next step Vertere Berlin is now launching their music label Vertere Berlin Records.

The first release is by label founder Uli Hasselmann aka Basic Instinct. Basic Instinct’s DJ sets represent a hypnotic and atmospheric dub-house sound. This is also reflected in this release. “Angel Dust” is an elegant and moody house track - enriched with a stab-led groove and a haunting vocal. “Feel It” is dubby and sexy prime-time track. Seducing vocal cuts are joined by a
warm analogue lead line.

The EP also includes two stunning remixes by VRIL and Narciss.

Maruwa bows at the altar of ‘90s prog house and IDM. Classically trained as a pianist, the St. Petersburg born Frankfurt based artist has made it her mission to join the dots between big room rave and a decidedly off-planet approach to melody. Now, making a debut for X-Kalay, that journey continues...

‘Liquid Night’ genuinely sounds like something you might have heard during Love Parade’s golden era. Meshing noirish sci-fi atmosphere with trance synths and EBM flex, the shadowy territory it occupies also carries through to A2’s ‘Midnight Caller’. That said, the followup cut evokes an essence of ‘90s dancefloor utopia, balancing euphoric melodrama with tough, propulsive NRG.

Taking inspiration from mid-‘90s acid prog, ‘Tricky Question’ summons the divine wide-eyed and sublime – less urgent, but still imbued with that '90s halcyon daze. Rudolf C then rounds things off with a fathoms-deep remix. Ushering ’Tricky Question’ into that techy space he navigates so well, the Salt Mines co-founder provides his own spin without losing the essence of the original.

VLS08 highlights the welcome of Slovenian artist Tzena. Proud member of Luckison, he delivers a timeless four-tracker surfing between house and deep electro.

We welcome back Stockholm house stalwart Viggo Dyst for his second contribution to our Classic Cuts series: an uplifting cut of five melodic tracks, including a remix from SNF mainstay, Earth Trax.

Tech-house banger 'These Knits' kicks off proceedings, with cosmic undertones that imbue it with a sense of buoyancy and playfulness. On the flip, Earth Trax teases out the track's cooler elements, introducing a more definitive pulse and replacing the melody's warmth with a greater sense of unease: catch this one reverberating around a cavernous warehouse. 'Promises' maintains the driving propulsion, introducing an acid melody which lends it anthemic grandeur before the sultry whisper of cymbals and female vocals on the modest deep house track 'CAT' strip things right back. Finally, the ambient closer 'Bubble Wrap' pays testament to Viggo Dyst's musical ambidexterity and his capacity for creating atmosphere with a full-bodied soundscape and rich tonal depth.

Sleaford Mods have covered The Pet Shop Boys" iconic West End Girls, with proceeds from the single going to charity Shelter. If the original is a sophisticated exposé of the 80s Britain, the duo have skilfully distressed the shimmering classic with sharp synths and scuffed-up vocals to mirror our own dysfunctional days. Not only did the Nottingham duo"s West End Girls meet with Neil Tenant and Chris Lowe"s personal approval, but the pair were inspired to create a remix which features as a B-side.

E2-E8 continues to put new local talent under the spotlight. This time it's the Orphic duo, made up of Kieran Jandu and Babak Faraji.

Shelter EP is perhaps the release with the clearest, most identifiable sound that we've put out so far. ACSXD and Macoubea are firmly rooted in deep techno that wouldn't sound out of place on labels such as Delsin, Hypnus, or Semantica. Ména is geared for peak-time with its relentless beat and vocal snippets. Half Ten is angular, articulate and colourful.

If all this wasn't enough, Marco Shuttle steps in with an atmospheric, almost beatless remix of ACSXD which reminds us of some glorious Aphex Twin moments. We can't thank him enough for contributing with such a delightful piece.

Born in 1989, Daniele Tomassini aka Feel Fly, dj, producer, sound composer (he recently completed the soundtrack for the movie I
Santi by Giacomo Abbruzzese, awarded at the prestigious CineMed festival in Montpellier), co-founder of the Afro Templum party, already
known for his previous works for labels such as Prins Thomas’ Norwegian Internasjonal or the Ibizenca International Feel, lands on
Simona Faraone’s label, New Interplanetary Melodies, with his first EP, after having made his debut on the same label as remixer on
the EP signed by Leo Young (NIM005).

The entire EP is inspired by the ancient and mysterious Etruscan culture, whose peoples inhabited the historical-geographical region of
central Italy: all the tracks that compose it were in fact conceived under the cloister of MANU (National Archaeological Museum of Umbria) in Perugia.

The title track, Sacrificio (A1) opens the album with an ecstatic drum-break on which powerful subs stand out, catapulting you directly
into the obscure rituals of the haruspices, intent on interpreting the signs of the divine, with the help of mysterious pads and shimmering
synths like fires in the night.

Side A continues with Hypnopedia (A2), House music characterised by pressing rhythms and sharp rides that transport us into a dreamy
dimension, a nostalgic, evocative dream of worlds that now belong only to the sphere of memory. While in Aisna (A3), which closes the
first side, the atmosphere changes decidedly towards progressive house, a sound that has become topical again in recent years, after
having raged in the second half of the 90s in those lands that were once called Etruria. And just as the Aisna was an early morning ritual
held in a field or a sacred wood, this track has all the makings of a rave at the crack of dawn.

The B side starts on the same wavelength with which the first side closed, Afro Trance Amnesia (B1), in fact it maintains that feeling
with the most sweaty dancefloors thanks to its epic breaks and vaguely Trancey arrangements that rest on dragging and obsessive
percussions able to smash any kind of dancefloor. With Thi Rie (B2) the groove becomes decidedly more disco thanks to a rolling bass
line interspersed with powerful toms and full of suspense thanks to the skilful use of enigmatic pads.

Étoile Romance (B3) is the title of the beautiful piece of Ambient that closes this first EP by Feel Fly on NIM, 6 minutes and more of
dreamy arpeggios that fit perfectly into the groove of that Italian tradition of soundtracks and library music that has produced so many
masterpieces.

Fio Fa is back with another release exploring his finely tuned approach to effortlessly rolling, yet playful pumpers that have become characteristic of his sound. This time on his new imprint Sunset Drifters, the label launches with 4 devious dancefloor cuts that solidify his sonic relationship with the sounds of early dance music. Straightforward yet effective, the EP merges his many inspirations - the dynamic drums & flecks of acid in proto-house, the rolling basslines of progressive, and the mini melodies and synth stabs of EBM and early rave.

The release culminates with title track Sunset Drifters - a euphoric release, channelling the continuity of the modern progressive pulse.
